Awesome response time via Yelp messaging. I was able to coordinate the installation visit and parts online. My technician today was Steven Arruda. He notified me that he was available earlier both via text and phone which was great because I work remotely and could have missed the opportunity for an early installation visit. He was both thoughtful, responsible, efficient and timely. I so appreciate the quick response to this service. I would definitely call on this company again.

If you have read any of my reviews you know how important service is to me.  

When I lived in San Francisco, I had used plumbers a few times to unclog drains or replace garbage disposals - nothing too major.  Each and every time it was a guy and a van with a bunch of plumbing bins filled with pipes and fittings inside.  The van was non-descript and never clean.  These were one man shop kinds of places - nothing wrong with this.

When I move to the East Bay, I met the owners of Mr. Rooter at a Chamber of Commerce event and then met him again through a networking group I was a part of.  When I ultimately had a plumbing problem that needed immediate attention, I called Mr. Rooter.

The in-laws were in town and we were running the dishwasher to prepare for dinner and I heard dripping coming from the kitchen.  I went in to find water spewing out of the sink drain and pouring over the edge onto the floor - this was not going to help me make a good impression on my father in law.  I called Mr. Rooter and they sent a guy out right away who diagnosed and fixed the problem in about an hour.

By the way, on the service note, we lived at the top of about 45 stairs and every time he came in the house he put little booties on over his boots to protect our floors and every time he left to get something out of the truck he took the booties off and stuffed them into a pocket.  Then, put them right back on before he came back inside.  Is this necessary, NO!  But what a great touch.  Our plumber was a total professional.  He was clean and the van was clean and the booties, come on!

Since that time, they have inspected and done work on two different houses for me and have kept things working and helped me conserve water at the same time.  Very important these days you know.

My hot water heater blew up in the middle of the night. Being the DIY guy that I am, I ran out and picked up a tank from Lowe's and started to install it myself. It wasn't long before I hit a major roadblock with 100-year-old deteriorating pipes and had to hang my head in defeat and call in a pro. I called several of the big dogs here on Yelp and all of them scoffed and turned my business away. I mean, why not? They make bank on selling you a heater themselves, why mess with Lowe's bought garbage. It wasn't looking good for me until I reached Nick at Advanced. He was out to my house within a couple hours to assess the situation and made plans to come back after I got off of work to finish my job. Classy guy & very reliable. I didn't hesitate to call him AGAIN a week later when my downstairs neighbor's hot water heater exploded and filled the basement with about 10 inches of standing water. Nick came out and pumped the basement dry and had a new heater in by the end of the day. He even gave me a pipe fitting to help get my gas line hooked up to my newly purchased dryer that day to save me a trip to the hardware store. It's nice to have YOUR plumber saved in your phone :)

A backyard drain backed up during a pouring rain and it looked as though sewer water would seep into a downstairs room.  Called this plumber.  He came within half an hour.  Within 20 minutes the drain was unclogged and the damage avoided.  What more can I say.  I appreciate the quick service done in a serious downpour.  The price was reasonable.

We had Excalibur do a complete repiping job on our home in Alameda.  They filed for the permits and got to work within a few days to do the work.  They showed up on time with a good sized crew and worked though to the evening.  All of the major work was completed in that first phase and it was done professionally and efficiently.  They will return in a few days, after some other work is complete, to do the finishing touches.  Their communication has been excellent and we've been nothing but impressed with their work.

During the end of a family gathering our toilet and bathtub backed up and flooded the entire bathroom.  In a panic, thinking it might be a broken pipe, I called 5 Star Plumbing & Rooter and Fernando and Rocky came within an hour.  They were very friendly and professional.  I was worried that it was going to be a serious situation but they told me not to worry and that they would fix the problem.  They ran a snake and said it was a big clog of toilet paper. They were quick, efficient and cleaned up nicely. I highly recommend 5 Star Plumbing and if you get Fernando and Rocky then that's a big PLUS!

When the pilot light on a tenant's water heater failed I called Harry Clark and they had someone at the unit the next day. The new water heater was installed by the time the tenant came home with a minimum of hassle. It's not an inexpensive job but the price was reasonable.

Called at 8am on a Saturday and received the nicest and most prompt return call.  Steven and John arrived a few hours later, diagnosed and explained the problem (a corroded part on our hot water heater), and replaced the part/fixed the hot water heater in minutes.  Very reasonable pricing, very knowledgeable, and GREAT service - the dog loved them, the kids loved them, and we are all very grateful to have hot water again!  Would highly recommend them and will use them for all plumbing needs going forward!

We have an older house, have used Alansi's for leaking, backups and various repairs and replacements and have always found Yehia and his crew to be extremely expert, honest, reliable, flexible, courteous and fair. They have always exceeded our expectations and treated our home as if was their own.

I had AT replace my sewer and cleanout today in Vallejo.  Crew was prompt, polite, friendly, and most importantly great craftsman!!!  They did a big job and did it well!  Highly recommended.

Heise's Plumbing is our go to plumber. They are responsive, knowledgeable and professional. They recently removed a toilet and reinstalled a Toto with bidet and watching them work was a pleasure. I hope not ever to have a plumbing emergency but if I do we will call Heise's.

All I can say, is WOW. His level of service was so good, I wish I could give him 6 stars!

I had a really tough clog, and Frank got to work. He put in the time, the effort, and tried several different solutions, working the problem, until he got the job done.

He paid attention to detail, and did what he needed to in order to protect my home from water and dirt. He was very good about cleaning up when the job was done and making sure that everything was to my liking. I didn't have to ask him for anything, because he handled all the details himself.

I can't recommend this guy highly enough.

After receiving an estimate via Yelp, we set up an appointment. Kenny and assistant arrived on time fully masked and wearing booties.
They efficiently replaced 3 toilets and valves. He even used an intact part of one of the older toilets to repair a fourth toilet that did not need replacement. I will use Kenny for all future plumbing needs and highly recommend him.

I would give them 6 if I could! They two plumbers I have had come to my house over the last few weeks have been amazing! They installed a faucet, toilet, and a tankless water heater. Their prices are very competitive and fair. Their workers are honest and attentive and answered all of my questions and concerns! Their attention to detail is excellent and they are very professional. I would recommend them to anyone!

It's never fun to come home to a clogged kitchen drain, especially on the Sunday of a holiday weekend.  We reached out to a b drain and spoke with an extremely professional representative that scheduled Raffi to come to our house the same day.  Not only did Moses arrive earlier than expected but he was professional, straightforward, and great to work with.  He also walked us through each step he took, making us feel very confident in the work performed.  I highly recommend him!

Father son team.  Joel is great guy, and I had a great first experience.  He was communicative throughout and showed his knowledge even before arriving.  He was the only plumber that gave an estimate upfront out of a half dozen.  I called a diamond certified plumber first and Golden Coast was an infinitely better experience.  He was thoughtful, conscientious, and efficient as he had my kitchen sink back up and running in less than 30 minutes.  I will definitely use Golden Coast again!
