I waited 65 days to write this review so that I could thoroughly assess the quality of parts and workmanship provided by Anchor Plumbing Services.

Contacted Anchor Plumbing Services for a quote on June 4, 2020 at 8:58 PM.

Informed a representative by the name of Paul A. that I would like (1) my old 3/4-inch copper sweat fitting shutoff valve to be replaced with a 3/4-inch male adapter fitting + 3/4-inch ball valve; (2) replace corrugated copper tubes with 3/4-inch stainless steel water supply lines + thread them onto new ball valve; and (3) connect water lines to water softener using adapters (e.g., 1 threaded coupling, 1 x 3/4 threaded bushing, 3/4 nipple).

8 hours and 30 minutes later, Paul A. replied requesting clarification on whether I am hooking up to a new softener or the one in the picture I had sent him. After I told him it would be to a new softener, he quickly replied, Ok gotcha! Our cost to do what your asking is app 288.00 and that is with all material as well.

I, then, requested that we schedule an appointment. Again, he promptly replied, Absolutely, can you send me your address and contact number and I'll book it.

On the afternoon of our scheduled appointment at 12:05 PM, I contacted Paul A. to inquire about the expected arrival of the plumber and whether the plumber would call me before arriving. Paul A. assured me, Should be within the hour but we will call prior to our arrival.

Indeed. At 12:27 PM, two male plumbers from Anchor Plumbing Services arrived, started, and finished before 1:20 PM.

It has been 65 days since then and the shutoff valve is still working. I successfully used it to shut off water to the house on several occasions, that is, to repair pipes, toilets, and install a pressure reducing valve below the 3/4-inch ball valve.

With regard to soldering quality, it is sloppy but effective. It has observable runs, but the temperature was good and seems to have fully penetrated. Aesthetically speaking, the soldering could have been made to look a little nicer, but my primary concern is reliability. Thus I am still awarding Anchor Plumbing Service a 5-star rating.

On a final note, I am unable to find the hex nipple 3/4 male NPT I had installed on the corrugated copper pipes before the plumbers' visit. I think the plumbers may have inadvertently taken it away as they were hauling the old pipes to their truck. Nonetheless, it is only an $8.00 part, so I will not hold that against their 5-star rating.

Andres did a great job with my water softener installation. I had my own water softener and the estimate they provided was the most reasonable price I found. Other companies were charging me more than the softener cost but they provided a good estimate. The installation was quick and the plumber was friendly and explained the process to me. I had an appointment scheduled and cancelled last minute due to an emergency but the emergency subsided and I was able to call back and they made the time for me. I appreciate the work that was done.

I had a great experience with Henry and his team from Plumbit Plumbing Services! They were prompt to answer my request for a quote and came out same day to provide it. The following day, I made an appointment for their services and they came out 3 hrs later. Henry and his team are very honest,efficient and kind. I'm very satisfied with the pricing and outcome. If I ever need a plumber again, I'll definitely being calling them!

Brad B was actually recommended to us by another 5 star Yelp plumbing company who was too busy to help. There loss was our gain. Brad B was able to come out the same day. He was on time, performed several things for us at our rental property. He installed two valves for the laundry, two cut-off valves for the toilets, seated two toilets, removed a gas log insert, and capped off 3 gas fittings. He was quick, knowledgeable, and precise. Left all areas clean and had a very fair price. If I need a plumber I'm calling him first!

Our water heater went out and I reached out to PlumbSmart. Within 20 minutes Cody got back to me and scheduled an appt for the next morning. Cody came out to our home on time and was knowledgeable and efficient. He went above and beyond and we will be using PlumbSmart for all future plumbing services!

CT came by on short notice over the weekend to diagnose a suspected leak. The dripping sound I thought I was hearing turned out to just be some pipes knocking around the attic that may have come loose (a common occurrence). CT offered some helpful recommendations and was very honest about it probably not being worth getting professional work unless the noise really bothered me as it's not an issue that will lead to any damage.

I called several other plumbing companies and all were booking a week out or charging massive service fees to come by on the weekend, so I was incredibly appreciative that EZ came all the way out to my house and gave the advice I needed without charging me or getting a contract out of the call. They will be my go-to company for all future plumbing needs and I'll recommend them to everyone I know when plumbing issues come up!

Amazing! Quickly came in and fixed our toilet - didn't even charge us. Very friendly and professional.

These guys are awesome! Came over with no issues to inspect my system and pointed out CO2 problem & were able to fix the system same day! Great service, great customer service, and great value! Noel & Jesse were professional, quick, and clean. Answered all my questions and were very knowledgeable about the HVAC system and explained why there was a problem & what it took to fix it. It's sometimes hard to find a reliable plumber. Most plumbers in my area seem to not return my call or make it hard to schedule.

Mr Rooter always answers and has someone to send out. Had two gentlemen come help me remove and water heater and bathtub and they made quick work of the task, were very polite and informed and answered all of my questions about moving forward and what to do next with my bathroom remodel. Price was very reasonable.

Moving forward with any plumbing issues, will be using Mr Rooter.

The only people who answered my call and showed up at 1 am when my Water heated decided to bust and flood my upstairs. Was so thankful he came as soon as possible. He turned everything off so water wasn't pouring out anymore but set me up so we still had water usage for the night. They came first thing the next morning and fixed everything!! Always need honest and great people that are your go to and they have become my go to !

By far the best service I have ever received! AC went out on a long holiday weekend. A tech was dispatched and was able to get the unit running even though it was in need of replacement. Replacement quote was very competitive and complete and upgraded system was ordered and installed without haste. Techs were very courteous, professional and clean. Follow up calls made by Guarantee Plumbing & AC to check on the service received and to ensure our satisfaction. Service was so great that I signed up for their Plumbing and HVAC maintenance plan!!
You are making a mistake if you do not call them for all of your needs. Highly recommend all of their services.

AAA AUGER is the best plumbing service I have found in San Antonio.  This is the third time I've used them and I am still extremely satisfied!  I called today because I thought I had a serious problem with my toilet.  They were here on a Sunday 20 minutes after I called for an appointment.  It turned out there was nothing seriously wrong.  I was not charged at all!  AMAZING!!!  Robert was the plumber sent to my house.  He was super friendly and even gave me tips on how to handle future problems with my toilet.  AAA AUGER has trustworthy honest employees.  Seriously, call them if you have any plumbing problems.  In the past, they even fixed a broken sewer pipe for me.  They turned a stressful situation into a good experience.  They are simply the best and I've tried many different companies in the past.  Thank you, Robert and AAA AUGER!

Pete was a true professional: excellent, knowledgeable, and most of all honest.  I've used his business for a number of plumbing needs and he's always responsive and fair.  His employees have always gone the extra mile to do a great job even when being called on to do an emergency job last minute.  I highly recommend Elite Plumbing . I live in castle hills and had a broken pipe in back yard that was exposed. So, no digging necessary. Two plumbers showed up and saw the broken pipe and said, We can't fix that because we do not ha e a threading machine but, I can rerun the entire waterline in your backyard for you. Rip off artists. I had another company come and they took out the broken pipe piece and installed a new pipe within 15 minutes. A&A is located on a street called Lookout. That is exactly what you must do. Lookout for these con artists. If they show up, they still expect the $45 fee. Even if they cannot fix it.

We had an unexpected recent water leak from a pipe to our hot water tank and needed quick remediation as we were due to leave town the next few days. The staff at the office could not have been more accommodating, understanding and kind to send Travis out within two hours of my call and finding this active leak. Travis professionally found the issue and offered an immediate repair and arranged his day to do this. We so appreciate the timelines, great price and peace of mind that this was solved and back in order! We always use their services for the last 8 years or so and we can't be more pleased with this friendly, trusting company! Thank you!!

Called to obtain estimate on 1/31 for major plumbing repairs to my Ill mothers home. The lady who answered Asked very inappropriate and offensive questions about  my mothers health. I have never had similar issue with any of the plumbing companies I have used in the past. I can not recommend this company to anyone at this point.

During the snow storm of 2021 a water pipe busted in my home. I called Roto-Rooter on a Monday and pleasantly found they were scheduling me for the next day.  Winter conditions continued and no show.  I called them at the end of the day and was told all scheduled appointments were moved to next day.  Next day no show, no call.  It's Friday and still no show, but what disturbs me most is no notice this whole time.  I only heard from them once and that's bc I called them.  Luckily my neighbor called A.L. Plumbing and after talking to their plumber he squeezed me in right there on the spot and fixed my problem.  A.L. Plumbing, 210-269-6346.  

I can't speak to R-Rs quality of service, but I can speak to their disregard for customer notification, time, and general courtesy.
