They are a family company and you can tell by the nice guys who work there. Saved a ton, professionally fixed now and I didn't have to worry about who was in my house. Clogged sink that I had draino'd and snaked for days with no results. The guys were here earlier than scheduled (I love that!) and we're done within 20 min. Courteous, professional, fast and reasonable cost. What more do you want?

I cannot thank Kevin and Dan enough. They are extremely professional came over right away to fix our Rheem hot water heater. Unfortunately the hot water heater was beyond repair. After so many hours Kevin put in to repair it, it had to be replaced. The next day Kevin came out replaced it and charged me a third of the price anywhere else would have charged. Then he put on an expansion tank for free for me. Who does that? No company does anything like that anymore. Thank God there are still amazing people in this world like this company!

We have used Kirkwood Plumbing multiple times for various jobs the last few years that we have lived in the St. Louis area, and have been happy with the service every time (sewer lateral, drain issues, installing sinks/faucets, etc.).  Friendly, on time, knowledgeable, and fair priced.  Definitely would recommend them and we'll continue to use them anytime we aren't feeling comfortable with doing work ourselves (in fact they fixed our bad DIY work once even for a price that should have kept me from even trying to do it myself).

Not to be trusted. A hard sell on a sewer line replacement, twice as much as other plumbers.

I hired this contractor to turn my tub/shower into a walk in shower.  In the first 2 days he only worked approximately 6 -8 hours.  On the third day he didn't show up until after 1:00.  I was in a hurry to get the job done and didn't feel confident that he could get the job done in the time frame we discussed and do it right.  Therefore I fired him and went with another contractor. I had given him $2,300 up front for material.  I asked for $1,300 of the money back as I felt $1,000 was adequate compensation for the few hours he and worked and the little bit of material he had provided (most of the time was for tearing out the old tub and shower).  I feel this guy has a very poor work ethic and does shoddy work.  I had already found several things that he had done that I wasn't pleased with.  I would never recommend him to anyone else.
