Ed Bellm Plumbing changed out an old failing water heater for a larger more efficient and reliable one. Showers never felt so good and we even have enough hot water to do the laundry and run the dishwasher too.
They were very knowledgeable and careful with delivery and installation. They had to do some pipe work to make it fit properly. They did a great job and cleaned up the whole area before leaving.
Highly recommend Ed Bellm.

Great company to work with. I called late at night for a clogged drain and received a quick response. I was extremely satisfied with the service and the price was a great value! Will definitely recommend and use this company again in the future!

The work quality was ok but to be totally honest it's been hard working with them. We'd been scheduled for a week and nobody showed. All day called to try to find out when or if someone was coming. Blocked our whole day waiting and got almost no communication. Owner called and said he'd come to make it right. Which is good. But I won't be using them again.

$498 for a fill valve and a flapper for two toilets, $148 for a flapper replacement, 20 minutes , have you no shame?

Buyer beware!!!! This is the first review I have ever given. I wouldn't recommend using this company. If you chose to do so, MAKE SURE YOU GET A QUOTE IN WRITING BEFORE YOU LET THEM START!! Do not let them go by the hour.
Now my story... I called the company and ask if they could come bid a job for me. The guy on the phone said he could do it over the phone. I asked for an 80g water heater to be removed and a 6g installed. I needed the 6g water heater to be put in the air. Then I needed new plumbing run to two fixtures because of a leak. I was quoted around $1000. When the plumbers showed up, we went through what was needed. They advised they weren't aware the water heater needed to be put in the air and that would be extra. It was clear he didn't want to do this and that's when the employee started with his big attitude problem. I asked for what the new price would be. He advised about $1200 but it would be by the hour. I wasn't happy but I said ok. Within the first hour, they turned off the electric and the water and took 3 smoke breaks. Within the first 2.5 hours they only had the old water heater out. It wasn't in a hard place but in a large open closet. After 6 hours they only had the water heater installed and none of the other work complete. The plumber came and got me and said he was done. I asked about the other work and he said it would be extra. I said to just stop and I was done wanting anymore work from them. The plumber asked why, I explained my issues and that's when he got very angry. I said please give me the bill and I would talk to the office/owner and then send a check. That's when he flew off the rails and cussed at me and stormed out. (I have video of this) The bill was over $1,300 and the second half of the job wasn't completed. FYI The water heater cost $250 from the store. Called the owner, owner let me get 3 words out and then told me his guys story and didn't want to hear anything else from me. I said ok I would pay the entire bill and post my reviews. He hung up on me.
Just beware if you decide to use this company.

Dan was extremely knowledgeable and explained in detail the problems that were found. Was very thorough with the inspections. Have used Anton's for the past few years and don't even bother to call anyone else!

AAA has always done a super job for us on many repair/service needs. This time, Tim was excellent as well. Efficient and informative. He repaired our shower and provided estimates for additional needs. Very happy with outcome and with the cost.

Sewer line was backing up in my basement. AA Quick was close and has good ratings, so gave them a call around 10 am. Was told arrival would be later that day, but no specifics. Called back about 3 pm, asked for ETA, was told it would be late, around 7 pm. Still no-show by 8 pm. Called first thing next morning and asked for new ETA. Was told within 2 hours. Crew arrived almost two hours exactly and had problem resolved within 30-40 minutes. Quick and courteous.
Some might have given an even lower rating, but as frustrating as it was, losing two days of pay and using up two vacation days, I understand issues arise, temporary staffing problems, jobs taking longer than expected, etc. However, their customer service needs some improvement. Calling the customer when your agents can't meet the timeframe and updating the ETA or rescheduling would prevent customer anger from building and would go a long way in helping customer satisfaction.
I do recommend them for the actual service, just be aware the office support might be lacking a bit.

Embrich is the best! The repairman came out and diagnosed the problem with my water heater the same day I called. He explained everything thoroughly and was very professional. The part had to be ordered, no fault of theirs. Then the owner came back at a time that accommodated our schedule and replaced the part. Thank you!!
A+++ service once again. Thank you!

I have called Dan for a variety of plumbing services for my investment properties and personal residence. He is extremely responsive and is always able to get me on his schedule quickly. He has installed all new shower plumbing, valve replacement, under the sink plumbing replacement, etc. I would highly recommend!

My drain is the basement was backing out and flooding everywhere! I called around 8 companies and Flow King was the only one that answered and was able to make it out right away. There are a lot of companies out there, but I recommend these guys. They're friendly from start to finish, honest, and get the job done right. Thanks again

I'm updating this largely due to the audacity of the response by the owner.
First, day 2, he was a year 2 apprentice with no supervision. Which is illegal in the state of Illinois.
Second, day 3, he sent a year 3 apprentice that told me he was a year 4, but I also believe he was only a year 2 because it specifically said SUPERVISION on the license. It had also been expired since April, which is also illegal.
Third, they know that they are only to contact me through the BBB, as per my voicemail message for Missy and email to Bob, in addition to the message sent out by the BBB.
This company is full of frauds. They also sent me a fake copy of our agreement that was, for one, unsigned, and for two, had MY name listed on all the forms. All of the work was done under my wife's name.
This company will take your money and run if you let them.
Just a PSA about our experience with Tiger Plumbing! Never, EVER use them! If I could give negative stars, I would! We went with them because our sewer line collapsed and needed the entire thing replaced immediately. They had great reviews on google, so I thought they would do a good job.
Unfortunately, we were duped. They quoted us $22k for digging up our driveway all the way into the road, and replacing our entire line. Yesterday, I noticed they were only stopping at the sidewalk. When I called the project manager, he basically said they weren't going to do that because it's too hard and expensive to get the permit. Well, that's what the $22k was suppose to go to!
Second, they broke our water meter and tried to fight the city on replacing it. At this time, I found out they had lied to me and I did not have a FULLY licensed plumber on our job, but an apprentice who wasn't working under anyone at all. This apprentice didn't know how to fix the line, and they couldn't get ahold of their actually licensed plumber, and they left me without water for over 24 hours.
They also broke the law and left a giant pile of gravel right in the middle of the road! I was up half the night stressed that someone might hit it and get injured.
When I tried to talk to them about the quality of their work, they doubled down and got aggressive. They're still trying to get us to pay the total amount for all their lies, failures, and an unfinished job. Now I'm sure I'm going to have issues with the the last 10% of the sewer line that they just didn't want to do.
Please learn from my mistakes. Do not pay this company a dime.
