They replaced an outside valve with improper material that wasn't strong enough for the water flow. Blew a hole in my garage and it flooded overnight. They would not cover damages and avoided my lawyer's letters multiple times. Best to avoid this company.

Conrad arrived within an hour of making a service call. He assessed the condition of my garbage disposal, but was unable to fix it as is. He offered price and options to replace disposal. I found him to be knowledgeable, honest, and pleasant. I wasn't charged for him to come out for what amounted to a consultation. Other places charge just to show up. Should I elect to replace my garbage disposal, I certainly will give VanGo a call.

After posting on Yelp that I needed some installation/repairs/maintenance work done, Tim contacted me back via Yelp Messages within 2 hours to inquire a little more about my projects.  He was the first one who replied to my cry for help.  It took only a brief description of my projects for him then to come up with a price estimate for his services.  Upon my approval, he then got me scheduled and emailed me an official estimate for me to formally approve - It was all done very conveniently via messaging on Yelp, it was super easy and quick.  He laid out all the line items pretty clearly on his email.  No hidden or surprise fees.

A few days before the appointment day, he sent an email confirmation.  Tim informed me that they offered an online payment to ensure a touchless transaction with his customers, which I super appreciated.  When I told him that my place was all carpeted, he considerately offered to take his shoes as well.  Tim was also flexible when I told him that something came up for me so I had to have him deal with my roommate, super thanks for that.

Tim arrived 15 mins early than our scheduled time, which I certainly wasn't mad at at all - the earlier, the better in my opinion.  He came prepared for safety with a mask, and was efficient with his work.  He replaced my garbage disposal very swiftly - it took him about 20 mins, that was it.  Then, as he moved to the next project to reconnect my dryer vent to the wall, when he saw how it wouldn't be easy due to the stacked configuration of my washer&dryer and its location in a small closet, he didn't give up.  Instead, he tried to think of a solution and was able to work with my roommate to get the task done.  I was impressed and thank you very much.

Overall, he was a super nice guy, easy to work with, and I felt like his prices were reasonable.  His fee for installing a garbage disposal was $200 plus the cost of the new disposal ($175).  The cost to connect dryer vent was $50.  More importantly, I was really happy with his work.  I definitely would use his services again in the future, and I'm already recommending him to my family.

Very helpful. Offered great advise at no charge regarding my broken faucet and how to fix rather than replace entire sink. Saved me about $700! I would very much recommend this company. They are honest, responsive  and provide great customer service!

I have nothing but positive things to say! Kaelin was quick to respond with a personalized message asking me to take a couple pics and show him what was going on as opposed to a generic we charge $99 for diagnostic services and... blah message. He made an appointment soon after, charged a reasonable price and was friendly/professional. If I could give my experience 6 stars I'd definitely do so!

Leo answered the phone on a Sunday morning and was at my house within 1.5 hours to clear a main line clog. He was professional and thorough and his price was fair, especially considering it was last minute on a weekend. Highly recommend him for your plumbing needs. It is New Years Eve at 7 p.m. and Ted saved the day! My water heater went out yesterday - I spoke to Ted in the afternoon and much to my surprise, he said he could come the very next day, even though it was New Years Eve!  His price was less than what a larger company wanted to charge and he was able to come out right away. What a relief it is that I can actually take a hot shower. I'm very grateful.

Excellent customer service starting from the receptionist to the plumber (Ben). I had asked for an over the phone quote for a pipe issue, and she said that someone would need to take a look and get a better idea of the problem, Ben was very nice and professional. Instead of getting the pipes valves replaced, he told us a simple fix to resolve our problem. Saved some money and gave us recommendations to help us prevent our valve issues in the future.

Serg did a great job.  He has all the small tools that I did not have to finish hanging the industrial strength exterior TV mount in a stucco wall for our large outdoor TV.  I would recommend his very reasonably priced services for those miscellanies jobs around the house.

Have called Erik a few times over the years and he is always quick and reliable. Honest and will charge less than a quote if he over estimated. Collegial and professional. Is always our go to first call in plumbing issues.

He came out same day and fix my issue. It's prices are a little high at overall but he came out fix my shoes same day cleaned out my sewage line and got my Plumbing working again. I would definitely use this guy again great response rate

Make sure you get your estimate in writing from Daniel. Don't trust his words. I learned it the hard way.

I trusted him -- scope of work and the price. Because it was an older house he wasn't sure how much it would cost upfront and said he will charge me reasonably by the hour. And gave me a rough estimate.

When he showed up at my door he said his wife asked him to increase the rate!

He said he wants THREE times the original estimate. Right before starting the job at the doorstep. He didn't even give me a couple of days notice.

I was upset and angry with him. And still am. I had already said no to a couple of other plumbers and was waiting to get the plumbing done so the the rest of my crew could continue.

Don't trust his words. Get the scope and price from him in writing. He will bully around and change things at the last moment and screw you over.

A large plumbing firm tried to snake the shower in a 70 yr home. Told us it didn't work and that repairs would be $6800 and take 2 days. Wanting to be careful, called Doug Friday about 9. No answer. He called me back 2 min later, agreed he could see the home at 3 that day. Snaked the line and cleared the blockage. Fabulous service and result. He's our go to plumber now.

Our Kitchen sink started leaking.  This guy is wonderful!!  On time, professional and a real problem solver!!  I highly recommend!

This is my second review of Boyd Plumbing and Jeremy. We requested Jeremy since our first experience with him was so great. Jeremy came out and again offered excellent service, superb work, and a fair price. He and Sonny showed up on time and with great attitudes. We had a small issue several days after his work was completed, and he came right over, on a Sunday no less, and fixed it for us. Sonny and Jeremy are assets to the company and I hope that Boyd acknowledges that.

Our toilet was backing up into the clean out in the back yard. Yuck! P.J. came out, pulled the toilet and had us flushing again inside of 3 hours. If you need plumbing services, this is your company!!!!!! Thank you P.J. and A Better Plumbing!!!!!!
