Van Allen Plumbing is the best.  Prompt, professional, competent and fair.  Same day service for emergency water heater repairs: pilot light, control unit, and recirculation pump.  Wallace was very responsive and courteous on the phone.  Lance did a great job on site, also very courteous, knowledgeable, honest, and professional.  When you need plumbing work these are the go to guys.

Make sure you get everything in writing! I had a plumbing leak and was under quoted by almost $1,000.00! Then they left a portion unfinished and I received an additional bill for $250 to finish the job that should have been included in the first $4,300.00.

They did finish the job, but terrible communication between the manager and his workers and I would not use them again. I suggest getting quotes from other companies because I felt I was significantly over charged!

Trevor was very helpful installing a hot water dispenser on my kitchen sink and then coming back out to address another plumbing leak.  I would definitely follow up with him for other handyman services as he was prompt, responsive, and communicates well.

A guest staying at my condo clogged the kitchen sink. I called/emailed 3 plumber in the morning. Later that morning, John was the first (and only) one to call me back. He was busy, however found time to unclog the sink that afternoon. Good work!

David came and repaired my plumbing issue quickly. He was professional knowledgeable with my issue. I would recommended him for your plumbing needs. He was highly recommended to me .

Roots from some large trees in my front yard clogged my main sewer line (again) and I needed someone to come and clear it out.  Called in the morning and they were able to send someone to check it out that same afternoon.  

David was fast, friendly, and professional at getting the job done.  From chatting with him its clear this company tries to provide a great service for a fair price so they can keep their customers coming back.  Personally, I think they did just that and I'll happily call them again when the need arises.

Fernando, helped my client and I with a sewer inspection. Fernando was just great. He was a straight up guy, reasonable in price, and committed to serving the client! He got back to us quickly and stayed in communication throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend his services!

I have used this company multiple times as a realtor especially when it comes to emergency issues and I have been pleasantly surprised at how prompt and affordable they are. Very quickly to respond and completely reliable I'm so grateful there are still businesses like this out there you can depend on!

I had a problem with a clogged bathtub. Ryan came out from Jet Plumbing to take care of the problem without going underneath, cutting pipes to take care of the problem. Very happy Ryan worked effortlessly to mitigate the situation!

I had a gas leak in my home and NV energy shut off all the gas on a Sunday. I called Savage and Son and spoke with Dave on Monday. He was extremely helpful and scheduled me right away. He was very sympathetic to my situation of having twin baby girls in the house with no gas available. No hot water, laundry, stove etc.His follow up was great as well. It took a few days with a great guy named Mike at my house but all the issues were resolved. I cannot thank you guys enough!

Not much to say. I had a leak. I called a large local company but they didn't have time for over a week. These guys instead came highly recommended by a friend. They arrived when scheduled, same day. Fixed it fast. Didn't try to upsell me. Charged a fair price, a bit less than the estimate even. They will be my go-to plumbers from now on. Luis did the work.

Regarding my review dated 7/16 i have to say I'm more than pleased to report that they have credited my credit card the full amount of the charges.  I don't think they really had to do this but, by doing so, they've showed that they are reputable and a company that can be counted on to do the right thing.  Kudos to their Service Manager who is responsible for this unexpected outcome.

Josh was a professional and did a great job in getting the work scheduled and completed in a timely matter. His assessment was correct and his prices were fair.

When it comes to plumbing needs, do yourself a favor and stay away from Johnson Plumbing.   Their final price came in $1345 higher than their initial quote ($4000).  I tried meeting with Mike, the guy responsible for the job.  He was professional and tried to explain the increase.  When I asked to talk to his boss, Joe stepped up and immediately threatened me with a lien if I didn't pay my bill.  I explained that I was willing to pay the bill but thought $1345 over the initial quote was unreasonable.

After paying the bill in full that day I went to their office to talk to the owner of the company.  I was told that Joe, the one who threatened me with a lien, was the owner, and then I was even more surprised.  

Approximately two weeks later David from Johnson Plumbing called to apologize for the owner's comments.  He also advised that Johnson was willing to reimburse me for 10% of the total cost. Although this made things a little less painful, I still paid $4810 on a job quoted at $4000.

I called yesterday around 3:18pm, the lady was nice and all, she was having trouble with the schedule so I told her to take her time and text me to let me know how soon and what time they could come. She told me she would get back to me at 4pm the latest. Never heard back, so I called someone else. This morning another lady called she was sounding nice and apologetic and some how I was either put on hold or lines were crossed (she didn't even bother ending the call with me) but she started talking to one of the employees (some thing about a Tahoe company making sure of their business schedule ) but she mentioned me first and she referred to me as confused or something like that because I gave her my name maiden name first and then I remember I gave yesterday the lady my married name  but the cell phone I called her is under my husband's name so now I am confused. I'm sorry but not sorry, she woke me up and I took her phone call, and prior to hearing the way she was referring of me, I told her that I would definitely consider them for next time. Now I am not so sure. I also didn't appreciate that she didn't even bother to make sure I was off the phone nor she had ended the call. I got disappointed and just hung up the phone.

I have a shower backing up from an issue in the waste line. Called and spoke to Jessie several times before Bryan was finally dispatched to come assist as he was more available. Found out that it would actually take both of them since it had to be snaked from my roof vent. They came back later that afternoon to perform the work, explained every issue they found and what i would be paying for their service.
They found some items and recommended what i do in order to correct it but were only able to snake and camera about 55 feet into my waste main. They were very professional, polite and helpful.
The only reason i gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because it was $600 for an hour and a half and seemed very pricey for standard roof vent drain snake service. Either way it was not an unpleasant experience and i'll use them again in the future.

He gave me a bill that was $200 MORE than what he quoted!! WAS RUDE AND LIED!!! Someone must have paid for the other reviews because they aren't even close to the service I received!
