Best Water Filter Services in Portland OR
Of the FIVE area plumbers I contacted about a small repair I needed, only two of them responded. Of the two, only Curtis was willing to do that small of a job. He showed up exactly when he promised to and wrapped it up in less than an hour. If I ever have a larger job, I know who I am going to call.

I just bought a home and I knew that Sky had installed a new furnace in the home within the last 6 months. I called them to ask some questions about the existing system and inquire about getting some new additional work done. The receptionist took down all of my information and told me she'd pass it on to someone else who would return my call. They never returned my call so I had to find another vendor to do the new work.

These guys are real pros. They have fixed several issues in our house, they are reasonably priced, and they always give it to us straight. Can't recommend highly enough.

I called at 5 pm with a moderately serious plumbing issue and expected to make an appointment for the next day if I was lucky. They showed up within an hour worked til 9 then came back first thing in the morning to finish the job. Was given a quote right away and that's what we paid. Will do business with them again.

*Note: I initially gave one star because this states Eek! Me thinksnot but the business owner wrote to me saying one star on yelp means 'deplorable' and is damaging to the business. I am not trying to damage a reputation, I am seeking to be honest about my encounter. I did raise the rating to 2 stars if that is less harsh but my sentiment remains the same.
This review is based off a phone call I placed to get a ballpark quote for snaking my 2 bathtubs and 3 bathroom sinks. Not sure who I spoke with, but all I asked for was pricing information and the man went into a lengthy bit about how most plumbers don't understand the complexity of how drains work and he knows how to snake better than others...all to justify his outrageous quote of $199 per item to snake. His explanation and tone was oddly defensive and it was uncomfortable. I went with a different plumber who had a professional manner and charged me $145 TOTAL for everything snaked. Not sure why this company has so many rave reviews after this experience on the phone. Hopefully they take this as constructive criticism. I did not hire them and was merely turned away by their attitude about their superior services that they feel warrant such a high price tag.

Our hot water heater was leaking terribly. We called Simpson Plumbing and they came immediately, gave us an estimate, then came back and fixed the problem immediately for a reasonable price. They were pleasant, courteous, helpful and professional. Highly recommend!

Finding a plumber that crawls under apartment buildings to fix a main sewer line is a challenge these days! Many plumbers I contacted for this repair said they strickly work on new construction projects. Except Burfitt! They do it all, and were very responsive and reliable, and did a great job. Alan was great to work with.

I rarely write Yelp reviews, but Pfeifer Plumbing is worth my time, efforts & money. Understanding 2021's shortage of 4-5 star rated, licensed & bonded specialists, I expected few calls to be returned with a reasonable schedule time. Fortunately for us, Danaya checked all of the boxes! (Btw, follow-up texting is so helpful & convenient for a client, at which Danaya had quick responses.) Danaya showed up on time, ready to work on our mysterious shower leak. No bs, no complaining, pleasant professional attitude with integrity. Especially nowadays, caring customer service is greatly appreciated. The problem was fixed for a fair price! We will recommend Pfeifer Plumbing to family & friends. Thank you, Danaya!

I called Trident out and a tech named kyris showed up, he was professional, courteous, and explained everything thoroughly. he gave me a bid showing me exactly what needed to be done and I was a little skeptical at first but I agreed to the price as it was much lower than the other to companies in Salem that gave me bids. Kyris finished up the work and I was blown at how good he did! I will now use Trident Plumbing from now on.. 5 stars for the above and beyond work he did at his price. thank you

Our laundry room flooded while we were installing a new washer and dryer. They responded to our yelp message very fast. They gave us a two hour window (11-1) when they can be here and they were here right on time at 11, professional, friendly, and didnt mind my mother being all up in the mix either. Will definitely call if we have any future plumbing issues!

Zak was absolutely fantastic! Was in a bit of a panic state after stripping and breaking the bolt that seemingly was impossible to remove from our old iron toilet flange. Gave Everlast Plumbing a call first thing in the morning and he answered right away, gave me excellent information and the possible scenarios for repair and was at my door within an hour. Zak was personable, knowledgeable, and completely transparent about the pros/cons and possible outcomes of the repair. He worked quickly and efficiently and explained everything he did after the fact creating a great sense of ease and reassurance for me. So thrilled with the repair and grateful for the quick turnaround time! I cannot say enough good things about Everlast Plumbing. Give Zak a call- you will be 100% satisfied!

It works..
But... There's always a but. (TL:DR $850 for a job that should have been $225-375!)
I had Malmedal come out to my home to install a whole house water filtration system that I had already purchased from Home Depot. I knew after reading instructions that the piping was beyond my expertise to complete without leaking everywhere or breaking an expensive filter.
Malmedal was the plumber who put my new home's pipes in during construction approx 3 mos ago and I was referred by the builder. They arrived on time scheduled, +1 star.
They got promptly to work reading the materials they needed even though the list of materials it was provided during the appointment, just was never forwarded to the person doing the work. I asked how much it would be, he mentioned, oh it might be around $450. (which is high ballpark for what I saw online) He had to go to the hardware store (probably charged time for this) to get simple tools that were probably also charged to me and that I had literally on a shelf sitting there already, (stud finder).
The piping got put in. I asked why It couldn't be done like example photos I saw, and he explained that those are copper this is Pex and requires to be cut at X to be under warranty I'm not sure what that was but fine, ok. Anyway, it looks wierd, and half the wall has pipes running across it.
Everything works, it looks fine, works fine, tastes great.
Now the Bill comes. $850!!?! Are you Serious? IDK what in their right mind they have for billing $100 more I got from a different plumber that did my last house which even provided the filter. You would think I would have saved $500 by providing the actual unit.
Everywhere I read, the labor and parts would be $375 high end for 2.5hr and parts which is why I said Ok when originally said $450. I did not get an itemized receipt that broke down what was what, so Idk what I was actually billed anyway.
Not happy, beyond the fact that the thing works.

I used Summerson Plumbing again recently and I would like to say that Matt was very responsive to my request for service. Ryan showed up on time and performed the necessary repairs in a very professional manner. I would highly recommend Summerson for your future plumbing requirements.

I had a great experience with Henco from the first call. Most plumbers were too busy to even get a quote from in a timely matter & Henco fit me in right away. Their prices were very reasonable & their work was impeccable. I would recommend to anyone who asks.

I recently contacted Jossy Plumbing for help to finish installing a garbage disposal in our kitchen sink. They were on time and friendly, and I'm satisfied with the help they provided. Also, they were able to send someone out within a day, when several other services were booked up for several days or even a week or more.

The plumbing in my house backed up. When i googled roto rooter, a bunch of other companies popped up saying $85-$93 drain cleaning services.
I decided to call roto rooter and let the gal know the plumbing had backed up and asked if she had an idea of price, she told me they would need someone to assess before giving me a quote.
She gave me a time frame of when the people would be arriving and even said they might be earlier but they showed up late. I told them the problem, they came in my house and saw my bathtub and then said it would be $469 to fix. I was utterly SHOCKED by this price. Didn't feel like I had much of a choice as I had already waited hours for them to arrive and getting another company out could take even longer-- will not use them again

They were on time an cleared a partial. However in their video they mentioned extra work that should be done after I already had my septic tank inspected and they told me everything is in great working order. I'm trying to close on my house now and the buyer wants me to have extra work done because the employee keeps saying the baffle needs to be replaced. If you're not giving me warranty, then just tell me you completed the work that was asked of you. I can't help but feel that they were looking to add extra work to get paid for, when the work wasn't necessary.

Wolfers recently installed a new gas furnace in my home, can't say enough good things about these guys, Leon, their sales consultant was very knowledgable, made the entire transaction go smoothly. Their craftsmanship is above what I've seen as the usual standard of quality. Teo and Bryan were a real professional team, I'd asked them to please do their best with regard to a clean install as I am a retired craftsman myself and like to see every wire, duct, and join be as tight and efficient as possible. Upon completion this was done in a manner that speaks to their professionalism.
I got this entire deal through Costco so if anyone needs any air-conditioning or heating units call these guys for a great job at a very competitive price.
