Best in Plano TX

3 year ago in 2017 we had a pipe under the living room brake and was causing water to back up in the kitchen, laundry room, and air conditioner condensation drain. My house in Lewisville is over 60 years old with black pipe.  For the people that don't know black pipe or cast iron pipe has a lifespan of about 50 years so we were already on borrowed time.  We had  several of the big name plumbers out to look at the house and they all told us they could dig up the slab and fix the leak, but that at this point it was just a patch on a failing system and we should consider re-plumbing the whole house. Most of the estimates from the big name company's   came in around $30,000 and we would need to be out of the house for about a week. One of the local plumbers I talk to recommended QHR to me.  After explaining the situation to Bruce (the head plumber at QHR) on the phone he came out to look at my house and came up with a plan to install a completely new plumbing system (drain pipe/sewer line) to the entire house. He was able to do it so we could stay in the house the whole time and had at least one bathroom working at all times. He came in a little over $12,000 less and his plan did not involve tunneling from one end of my 60 year old foundation to the other.  He was also able to install 7 clean-outs in the pipe so I will always be able to access any area of the sewer line. It has been 3 years and I have had absolutely no issues with any of the work he did!. My father just called and asked who we used because he has a slab leak in his house in Plano.  As I was digging out the receipt for the phone # I though in this day and age what better way to say THANK YOU 3 years latter for a great job than to leave a 5 stare review.  QHR is worth the time to make the call.

I had a water heater that was installed by another Contractor who poorly installed a new unit. With the new unit I wasn't still getting hot water. Jason came to house asses the situation and was completely a professional. He listened to all my concerns. He was able to restore hot water in my house. His fee was reasonable. Highly recommended.

Having just moved to the area, we needed a plumber to fix a leak in the kitchen sink and install a new faucet. Took the recommendation of an acquaintance and called Curtis to set an appointment.  He arrived on time and listened to my description of the issue with the leak. He diagnosed it as a simple fix. Apparently, the original installer used the wrong connectors - which explained the stains on the sink cabinet's floor.

While installing the new faucet and soap dispenser, he found two additional minor seepage points due to improperly tightened fittings and corrected those, too.

His fees are very reasonable by anyone's standard and he is now my go-to plumber as we settle into the northern Dallas area. In every aspect, professional yet friendly  service. Call Curtis for an appointment and you will not be disappointed.

Johnathan is an absolute LIFE SAVER!!! My mom had a major leak at her house in the front yard. All plumbers were booked for the week. Johnathan called me the same day I inquired and said he hated to hear we were without water and would be by later that night if it was okay with us. He came by, assessed the issue and quoted us. He was very informative and understanding when we werent quite sure what decision to make. My dad passed away a month ago and Johnathan took WONDERFUL care of my mom and I. We won't be giving anyone else our business.

Alex is awesome. I finally found a plumber I can trust. I have an old house and a guest house and frequently need help. His prices are super reasonable, he's very responsive and on time. He's clean and quick and even friendly to the dogs - always a bonus. I wish I could find an Alex for all of my house projects. Highly recommend!

Roy is so kind and generous with his time. I asked him what he charged for a diagnostic of our leaky outdoor spigot, and he said it would be free and came the next morning. Then he told me it was very simple to replace it and suggested that we try ourselves! (He would have been happy to do the job if we wanted him to). He clearly described all the steps involved and encouraged me to call him if I had trouble! When I did run into a hiccup in the process and sent him a text to ask a brand question, he called me an hour later! He even offered to call again.

He was unbelievably generous with his time and expertise. I'm afraid I can't comment on the quality of his work, but he was extremely responsive, knowledgable, and I have to say I'm inclined to trust any repairman who turns down work and tells you that it's easy to fix yourself!

I have used Texas Plumbing several times. They have always been very prompt and reasonably priced. I've used them for a couple of minor plumbing issues and I've used them for a major renovation where they replaced my tankless water heater and added plumbing for instantly available hot water in every bathroom of my house.  They did an excellent job!  I would highly recommend this company to take care of your plumbing issues.

They fixed a sprinkler leak to the tune of $500+. A few years later that fix failed. I then paid a sprinkler company to fix their mistake. They said what PD did was completely wrong and doomed to fail.

I had an emergency plumbing issue and initially called another plumbing company who gave me a very expensive quote. I then called Kelly Plumbing Company and was quoted a very fair price for the exact same work. Ed came out immediately and quickly addressed the issue. I would definitely recommend Kelly Plumbing Company for all of your plumbing needs.

Tank yanker installed my tankless water heater in December 2010. After a few few years, I started noticing black particle in the water, especially when we fill the bath tub. Since it started more frequently, I decided to contacted Tank yanker. He came and said it is water problem, he said he can install a water filter for $550. I said, we are just treating symptom not the cause. I decided to contact the manufacturer Noritz. They also said, it could be water problem. I said, there are many people in our neighborhood who has tankless water heater and none of them have this problem.  

I called another plumber and he said it is the problem with flex pipe Tank yanker used which has rubber inside  to connect the hot water output to copper pipe. He replaced it and our problem is solved. When he took the flex pipe out, the rubber inside was disintegrated and was coming out.

I think Tank yanker knew the problem, but he did not want to admit and want to get another $550 to just correct the symptom. I do not know this was just an oversight during the installation or intentional, but he could have easily fixed it.

If I could give this company no stars that is what I would choose. Steer clear of this place. I had an emergency repair and was told the technician would be there within two hours and they never showed. I have been calling them non stop and someone picks up and hangs up. I would not even call this a business. Please hire someone else and avoid all the troubles. Super unprofessional.
