Best Garbage Disposal Repair in Pittsburgh PA

Klug Plumbing Plumbing Service
We discovered a leak in one of our copper pipes late in the evening on a Friday night. I started looking for a plumber to come out ASAP -- Klug Plumbing was not only the only one to call me back the same night but also come out first thing the next day.

Bob assessed and repaired our pipe, while checking if anything else was affected by the issue. He expertly repaired it and had it working within an hour.

I appreciated his communication leading up to arrival and how he explained the issue he found. If we ever have more plumping needs Klug Plumbing will be our first call!

Marshall Plumbing Plumbing Service
I would highly recommend Marshall Plumbing. Joe was at my very old home with very old plumbing within 2 hours of when I called. I had a leaking toilet with water dripping through the ceiling below. Although the old plumbing proved to be a challenge and took a lot longer then I'm sure he expected, Joe completed the job at the quoted price and did a fantastic job! He is very professional and neat and just a nice guy who took the time to explain to me what he was doing. I will definitely use Joe from Marshall Plumbing in the future and will recommend him to anyone who needs fast, professional and reasonable plumbing services.

Brown's Plumbing, LLC Plumbing Service
The service here is impeccable.  Not only is the service fast and efficient but the friendliness  is what sets this business in a class of its own. Their response time was fast after leaving a message on their voice mail, which I would recommend over filling out an online form. Nothing beats picking up the phone. Matt's response from my call was quick, and diverted a service as promised. I will never refer any other plumber to anyone other than Brown's Plumbing. You won't regret it!

Shelton Plumbing Plumbing Service
I can not recommend these guys enough and I've been telling everyone who will listen about them since they were here. We got ripped off and ghosted by another plumber, so I called Shelton Plumbing. They came out same day and had my problem fixed in less than an hour and literally saved me thousands of dollars. To top it all off, they were extremely conscious of COVID protocols and made sure I was comfortable with everything they were doing, even down to placing their clipboard on my table. I've been beaming all week and I'm just SO elated to have found a great, trustworthy company to call when we need them. Thanks again guys!!!

Samuel Bales Plumbing Service
I bought a foreclosure with numerous problems, one of them happened to be a waterfall from the kitchen ceiling. They were able to fit me in same day (I had been told anywhere from several days to over a week with other companies I contacted). Even though they were pretty busy they still managed to come out and take care of multiple issues. I had several burst pipes throughout the house, issues with the gas lines not being properly capped, the shower was broken and leaking, a leaking kitchen sink, a hot water heater that needed attention, etc. etc. I am more than pleased with the services rendered. They were prompt, worked very quickly, took care of all of the issues I knew about and others that would have been quite a problem down the line. The price was extremely reasonable. I can't emphasize enough how pleasantly surprised I was at the cost to take care of all of this. I am a graduate student, and do not have a ton of money and feared I would have to pick and chose what to take care of immediately, and I was able to do it all! They were very knowledgeable, helpful, prompt, respectful and I would definitely recommend Sam Bales plumbing to anyone! I was dreading turning the water on in this house, and my worry was quickly assuaged by the expertise and reliability of these great guys! I am already planning to have them help me get the boiler up and running and would not hesitate to call them again!

Frank Sciulli Plumbing Plumbing Service
I have had to call Frank three times in the recent months.  Two calls were for smaller problems and one was for a large problem, a broken pipe behind a wall.   Frank was able to fix all three problems in a very reasonable amount of time and at a very reasonable charge.  I recommend Frank to be called for any type of plumbing problem.   John B   Penn Hills

Gerard Plumbing & Heating Plumbing Service
Revised: After my mom called and voiced her feelings about the whole affair, they did give her a partial refund. I still can only go two stars because;
1. It wasn't a significant refund
2. They still way over charged for something that took him exactly 3 minutes to fix. He did not even have to snake the toilet.

Sullivan Super Service Plumbing Service
We found Sullivan Service on Angies List.
Wife and I just bought a house here in Pittsburgh that needed a lot of work.
We called Sullivan to give us an estimate on replacing the main stack in the house as it was leaking.
Some one came over the next day to give us an estimate and give us our options.
The estimate seemed fair and told them to go ahead.
Brandon and his crew came over and tore up the basement were the stack is and replaced it from the sewer line all the way to the first floor.
Then I decided to also have all the water lines in the entire basement replaced as most of the valves were corroded and did not shut off, Some were even leaking.
Brandon and his crew did amazing work and worked very clean.
We will be using them to replace our heating and cooling system as soon as our basement is repaired.
I highly recommend Sullivan for all your plumbing and heating and cooling needs.
Brandon and his crew did amazing work and were very professional.

Bill Brown Plumbing Plumbing Service
I called Bill Brown because the main toilet in my home was leaking into my kitchen.  My initial appointment was for a Wednesday around lunchtime.  I called him at 3:00 to confirm he was still planning to come that day.  I understand that plumbers get busy and jobs can become larger than they initially thought, however; I was provided no communication to confirm that the appointment was going to take place as scheduled - I had taken the day off of work for this appointment.  He said he was coming once he finished the job and would call and let me know when he was on his way.  He finally came at 5:30 (with no call), spent 15 minutes in my house, and couldn't fix the issue, so we scheduled an appointment for the next Friday, between 8-9 am.  I called him at 10:00 only to be advised that his truck had broken the day before and he wasn't sure if he could come out that day.  Again, I had taken a day off of work, and we are now 2 weeks without a working bathroom upstairs.  I was able to contact Roto-Rooter Friday morning and they sent someone that afternoon and he was able to fix the problem within 40 minutes.

TL; DR - don't hire him.  Hire Roto-Rooter instead.  Same day appointment and fix.

Cuccaro Plumbing Plumbing Service
I like to use local and family owned businesses.  Our longtime plumber retired so we're on the market again.  Curiously, Cuccaro's website has rave reviews.  Based on the poor quality of response I've had from them, I suspect they curate these and only post the ones from their satisfied customers.  They can curate their website--Yelp?  Not so much. I found it quite interesting to find that the recent positive Yelp reviews for their services are from 2019 and 2020.  Nothing current.  Hmmmm. I should have checked Yelp before trying to hire Cuccaro!

I filled in Cuccaro's online form over a month ago--received a fairly prompt reply and set up a time for someone to come and give us an estimate.  I've called, texted, emailed, left messages---to no avail.  Not even a --Sorry--we'll get back to you.  At the beginning of this week their receptionist actually answered the phone instead of it going to voice mail.  It's been a full TWO WEEKS since the guy came to look things over and 4 days since the receptionist said she'd get right back to me.  Still no estimate--and when I called the receptionist herself admitted she hadn't received anything from their estimator. I don't know if their work is any good or not--but they're sure lousy at customer care and support. So.not.prompt.   What is clear is their website is more hype than reality and if it's going to take them this long to give an estimate--I can't begin to imagine how long we'd have to wait to get one of their plumbers here. I know life can be difficult and there are often mitigating circumstances--but several weeks of waiting and not hearing anything whatsoever from Cuccaro is really unconscionable.  I'm not going to wait to find out what kind of work they do.  I've hired someone who's actually showing up and doing the work. I definitely DO NOT recommend Cuccaro!

Nussbaumer Plumbing Plumbing Service
On or about July 8, 2020, my home warranty company sent Nussbaumer Plumbing to repair a leak in my gas line. When their employee came to do the work, I asked if the entire line would need to be replaced, or whether they could thread a new line through the old one. The employee said that no matter what, they would have to replace the entire gas line. After the work was done, the guy from the gas company came to inspect the line. He pointed out to me that there had been an existing plastic pipe, and that the plumber could have threaded the new one through and saved me some money. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and chalked it up to a mistake. The total cost of the work was $4708.00.
Fast forward to July 31, 2021, when a water line inside my house had sprung a leak. Once again, I tried to rely on my home warranty company, which was probably a mistake because once again they sent Nussbaumer Plumbing. The guy they sent looked at the location of the leak, and not at any of the other pipes in the house. His report to the home warranty company said that the leak was not due to normal wear and tear, which caused them to deny my claim for coverage. The pipe was old and had some corrosion, which to me is normal wear and tear. I believe that there is collusion between companies like this and home warranty companies, which I've realized are shady to begin with. The thing that was really egregious, however, was the quote that the plumber wrote. His assessment was that all the pipes in the house needed replaced, for a cost of $6500. I'm not a plumber, but I think it makes sense to look at all the pipes in the house (most were exposed) before making the decision to replace them. I tried to get an explanation as to the report sent to the home warranty company and the outlandish quote, but couldn't get a call back. I had an old semi-retired plumber come out and take a look at the problem. He replaced about a 6-foot section of pipe where the leak was occurring. He took a look at the rest of the pipes and advised that none of them needed to be replaced. Total cost: $275.
Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice... nope, I wouldn't hire these guys again.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Pittsburgh Plumbing Service
The most awful company in the world. Call a different plumber. Any plumber. You have been warned. Heed this advice or prepare for a nightmare. Customer service and relations are awful. Prices are ridiculous. And their Service techs are like used car salesman. Avoid at all costs.

Hruska Plumbing Plumbing Service
Old HVAC unit stopped blowing cold air; I noticed this on a particularly hot day in late May. I reached out to Hruska on May 29, and received a callback right away. A day or so later, they sent someone to assess the problem. Recommended replacement, which didn't really surprise me as the unit was 23 years old. They quoted me a price for replacement and I let them know I'd talked to my warranty company, which I did and then called back to schedule the installation of the new unit. When I didn't hear back, I called again a couple days later and left a message at the main office. Finally received a call back a few days later. Scheduled the install on Thursday, June 13, so I arranged to work from home. He called me in the morning because it was raining to say they couldn't install in the rain and would have to play it by ear and he'd be in touch. The rain stopped around 10:30. Didn't hear from him the rest of the day. Or the next, or the day after that.

I call a couple more times and leave messages, literally saying I hope I don't get forgotten. I also tell them I'm off the upcoming Friday and Monday so that would be great for me. Finally get a call back a week after the original install was scheduled. I was in a meeting but stepped out to take the call and he asked if Saturday would work. Great, I say, before remembering that Saturday was the one day I was NOT going to be at home as I had plans with a friend from out of town. I call back to let him know that Friday or Monday WOULD work, and his response is, we typically do installs on Saturdays. Really? When you originally scheduled my install on a Thursday? Anyway... he tells me he'll call me Monday morning and we'll see what we can do.

Never heard from him again. I gave up and went with someone else.

Unacceptable. I get that people are busy, and it's a busy season and the rain is making things difficult. But you don't just blow people off. Never even offered an apology.
