Best Faucet Repair in Pittsburgh PA
I was not at the home during the service -- but this makes my review even more important to me. I learned about it all from my Aunt who was super impressed with Todd from First Call Plumbing. The sewer backed up to the point where we could not use our appliances and were apprehensive to flush the toilet. My Aunt's regular plumber was on vacation so we had to find someone new. My Aunt was very skeptical about using someone new, but the smell was unbearable and she had no choice. Calling Todd same day, he was helpful, polite and ensured he fit us in, and on a Saturday, too. In addition to solving the problem, he assisted in clean up. He also did a review of other areas of the home. Pricing was generous -- they only charge OT on a Sunday! Thanks for a great experience, Todd!

I'm called Brett for a new hot water heater and to replace a corroded bathroom sink drain. He does amazing work and very reasonable, highly recommended.

Service, quality, and value are always off the charts! Bob is great at diagnosing the problem and then fixing it for an extremely fair price! Today is the third time he came to the rescue! Best plumber in the area! Thanks Bob!!!

These guys were fantastic. Very friendly, professional. We had a plumbing emergency, they responded very quickly to the call. Came out the next day and fixed the issue. The price was great, and the job was done really well.

I would highly recommend Marshall Plumbing. Joe was at my very old home with very old plumbing within 2 hours of when I called. I had a leaking toilet with water dripping through the ceiling below. Although the old plumbing proved to be a challenge and took a lot longer then I'm sure he expected, Joe completed the job at the quoted price and did a fantastic job! He is very professional and neat and just a nice guy who took the time to explain to me what he was doing. I will definitely use Joe from Marshall Plumbing in the future and will recommend him to anyone who needs fast, professional and reasonable plumbing services.

I was definitely disappointed with this company. My general contractor brought them to my house to replace two shut off values at my meter and install a pressure regulator. My contractor got a quote from them for $350. I thought the price was a little high but agreed to have them do the job.
My contractor called me after the work was finished to let me know the pressure regulator wasn't needed so it wasn't installed but the bill came in at $451.00
The bill went up 30% from the original quote and they didn't install the regulator.
I was charged $319 for labor and $132.00 for parts.
So it was $451 for two shutoff values!
Looking at my security cameras they were here 2 hours.
I will never recommend this company to anyone.
Extremely disappointed!

I'm handy enough to figure things out, but not confident enough to take a crack at messing up my kitchen plumbing, so I called Samuel Bales. Michael stopped by, I told him the troubleshooting I did before hand, and he did the rest, and explained the the shutoff valve needed replaced, which was a good call. Helped me fill in some gaps in my plumbing knowledge (there are many), wrapped up in under an hour, and gave me a reasonable price. Would absolutely call him again, for repairs or additional advice.

Scott called this morning and was at my house in less than 1/2 hour. He looked at my Koehler Toilet and informed me these toilets are one piece toilets. Trouble is, with a one piece toilet, you have to change the whole toilet to fix the leak inside the toilet. He was very professional, friendly, and recommended several options. We spoke at length about what to do, and I have to say, I was not aware of the problem with Koehler. He made a recommendation to change to a Gerber Viper. While learning, I asked him if they're any charges and He said No!
I will be discussing this with my Wife, and we'll go from there. When we make our decision, we will call Scott again for installation.
Thanks Scott, I appreciate your time and candor!

I have had to call Frank three times in the recent months. Two calls were for smaller problems and one was for a large problem, a broken pipe behind a wall. Frank was able to fix all three problems in a very reasonable amount of time and at a very reasonable charge. I recommend Frank to be called for any type of plumbing problem. John B Penn Hills

I called Gerard Plumbing to correct a plumbing problem created by another Plumbing company. Their technicians are professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They came at the appointed time, and they called ahead. They were in and out doing the job to my complete satisfaction. In the future they will be the only plumbers I will call.

Great service, trustworthy and reliable. When one plumber told me immediately without a thorough assessment that I needed a full bathroom gut job and quickly quoted me $5000-$6000, I called Bill for a second opinion! $400 later, a simple leaky tub was fixed and I was able to get my contractor in to fix the ceiling and saved thousands!

Am sitting in a house in which EVERYTHING is covered in fine dust from
replacing an 8x5-foot bathroom; however, the only thing in this ONLY bathroom now is a toilet. The floor is plywood, the walls are open studs. I wash hands & face, brush teeth, wash dishes, cook, etc., in the kitchen sink. Luckily I have a basement utility sink where washing machine drains to take a bath, i.e. a washcloth bath. I now have washing, clean-ing, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, dry cleaning, etc., EVERYTHING in a bedroom, den, kitchen, dining & living rooms, & two basement rooms the size of the first floor. Am afraid to go up to second floor bedrooms! The plumbers started Monday & it's now Friday night. I have the weekend (& the past week) WITH ONLY A TOILET in the plywood bathroom! Every-thing from the bathroom is stacked here, there, wherever there's space! While I have used Allen Plumbing before, this is a complete & utter disaster & will be cleaning this mess for at least a month & who knows how large a dry cleaning bill plus others for cleaning supplies to wash, polish, clean, sweep, dust, vacuum EVERYTHING: window sills, curtains, drapes, rugs, carpets, all furniture, two pianos, lamps, ceiling lights--you get the idea--everything on the first floor & two-room basement! The furnace/AC will need be professionally cleaned & its three-month old filter needs replaced! Everything is covered in fine dusk--even the back porch which is OUTSIDE; the bathroom window is/was open!!! Forget the temperature outside is in the high 80's so the air conditioner is also full of dust & sending it out everywhere!!! If you need major plumbing work done, be sure to talk to several plumbers, ask questions & compare answers; don't just trust positive assurances. Remember YOU'RE the one living with results of the assurances! It ain't pretty or positive for you! It's weeks more work and expense!

Choice warranty sent these Nussbaumer plumbers out for bathroom leak that could be from wax ring in toilet. Plumber changed wax ring and said there was a 2nd leak and would have to access wall to see it. They claimed there were screws in pipe from cabinets on side of pipe. When they accessed the wall with a 30 by 20 hole ( that took 10 minutes to make ) there was no leak. They flushed the toilet 12 times, filled & emptied the tub & ran water in the sink. NO 2ND LEAK HAPPENED. The wax ring was the problem. Plumbers charged me $300 for the hole & told me I had to pay to close hole. They said ONE DAY THE PIPE WAS GOING TO LEAK. It has not leaked weeks later. Owner said if I got 2 other plumbers to say it , was not going to leak in the future, they would reimburse some of my $300. I still must find a contractor to close the hole($200-$300 cost).
IN other words, I will pay $500-$600 for a leak that was not happening. I feel like I was SCAMMED and Choice warranty takes no responsibility for their plumber's actions.
This is my 2nd problem with these Nussbaumer plumbers. Earlier this year, they put a regulator on & had to return because my dishwasher, shower and kitchen sink did not have enough pressure to work correctly.
I should have read the online reviews & I would have requested other plumbers.

Called for furnace service Friday and went the entire weekend without heat so I could get the better service rate. When they came on Tuesday they replaced a single part R8184 G 4009, which retails for about $100. Easy access, quick replacement. Half hour of work including the troubleshooting. The valves happened to be closed and the gf who was at home didn't know, so he did have to come back (called him back within 10 mins). Total time from first arrival to second departure, 57 mins. Their business model is to knock off the $69 diagnostic fee if repairs are done. The tech said his computer was down so I'd have to call office for invoice. It had a single line with a generic description Replaced oil burner primary control. They were unable to sufficiently explain to me how they got to their final fee of $507 other than we charge a flat rate. I'll let you decide whether this was a fair price.

I paid $400 for one hour of labor and $25 in parts for an exterior hose bib replacement. Very poor quality work as well. They get you with an $89 dispatch fee and then give a high ball quote on site. A consumer would do well to stock with upfront material and labor rates. Maybe I just got a bummer plumber but I won't call again.

If I could give Hruska Plumbing 0 stars I would. In early October of 2022, I decided to replace the 15 year old hot water tank in my home. It wasn't an emergency so I got several estimates from local plumbers. Hruska's price was great so I contacted them and spoke with Brad, who is one of the owners...we discussed a timeline and I was told a project like mine was usually a one day installation, which was perfect...EXCEPT THAT DAY NEVER HAPPENED! I had read about other customers (and potential customers) experiencing a lack of communication with this company, but I decided to move forward anyway. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE! I quickly realized what others said was accurate. My phone calls to the office were rarely returned. The easiest way to talk to the Brad was via FB messenger, and even that wasn't a sure thing. It one excuse after another...an emergency at a school, coworkers were sick with COVID, a heating emergency for an elderly woman, family illnesses...all of which I was sympathetic to and understood. BUT, every time I contacted Brad for an update on my install, I never received a return call (though I had been told SEVERAL times I would be called). After the COVID illnesses at the company Brad even expressed they were backed up with work and how they were losing money, which is why I couldn't comprehend the lack of communication about a $1400+ job. FINALLY my patience gave out and on 12/9/2022, I sent Brad a message via Facebook (again, this was the most reliable way to contact him) and told him I was done with his lack of professionalism and would be finding another contractor, which I did immediately. The new contractor has been very communicative with me and my project is scheduled to be done 1/5/2023! BOTTOM LINE...BELIEVE THE REVIEWS!!

I've used Cuccaro about 4 times. In all cases they were prompt, efficient and reasonably priced. And everyone I've dealt with has been a pleasure to work with. They're a great outfit and I highly recommend them.
