Best Sewer Line Repair in Pittsburgh PA
I was not at the home during the service -- but this makes my review even more important to me. I learned about it all from my Aunt who was super impressed with Todd from First Call Plumbing. The sewer backed up to the point where we could not use our appliances and were apprehensive to flush the toilet. My Aunt's regular plumber was on vacation so we had to find someone new. My Aunt was very skeptical about using someone new, but the smell was unbearable and she had no choice. Calling Todd same day, he was helpful, polite and ensured he fit us in, and on a Saturday, too. In addition to solving the problem, he assisted in clean up. He also did a review of other areas of the home. Pricing was generous -- they only charge OT on a Sunday! Thanks for a great experience, Todd!

These guys were fantastic. Very friendly, professional. We had a plumbing emergency, they responded very quickly to the call. Came out the next day and fixed the issue. The price was great, and the job was done really well.

The service here is impeccable. Not only is the service fast and efficient but the friendliness is what sets this business in a class of its own. Their response time was fast after leaving a message on their voice mail, which I would recommend over filling out an online form. Nothing beats picking up the phone. Matt's response from my call was quick, and diverted a service as promised. I will never refer any other plumber to anyone other than Brown's Plumbing. You won't regret it!

Called them out for a sewer back up ... long story short he assessed the issue and gave me an honest diagnosis .... everything was fine ! Rotorooter wanted to charge me $15k for emergency service and stressed the need to have this done immediately !
If you are looking for an honest company that is my looming to retire off of each job, then call Dave at 1 Plumber !

I have had to call Frank three times in the recent months. Two calls were for smaller problems and one was for a large problem, a broken pipe behind a wall. Frank was able to fix all three problems in a very reasonable amount of time and at a very reasonable charge. I recommend Frank to be called for any type of plumbing problem. John B Penn Hills

A technician installed an outdoor frost free hose bibb on my house two to three years ago. At the time he told me he was leaving the company and planned to move. The cost of his work had me joking about paying for a chunk of his relocation costs! Soon afterward, the bibb leaked and had to be adjusted. The next spring it had to be worked on again. And this spring, it had to be replaced due to not working at all. The replacement cost was $274 and, as before, the bill was not itemized. The first installation was somewhere around $350 and was done by one technician. This one was completed by two men two to three years later and cost less. It's confusing and frustrating, but I'm retired and don't have the energy to fight with them. My only consolation is that I'm having a new HVAC system installed next week and didn't consider Gerard Plumbing for even a second.

Called because we had a backup within the house. Called and the gentleman that answered the phone was very nice. He said within an hour somebody would be there. 20 minutes later Sean pulled in. He was very nice and friendly. He explained what he was gonna do before he did it. Also told us the price and here would be a jump in the price of he had to use bigger tools. Thanks for the great work. We will be calling in the future for further problems!

Great service, trustworthy and reliable. When one plumber told me immediately without a thorough assessment that I needed a full bathroom gut job and quickly quoted me $5000-$6000, I called Bill for a second opinion! $400 later, a simple leaky tub was fixed and I was able to get my contractor in to fix the ceiling and saved thousands!

We discovered a leak in one of our copper pipes late in the evening on a Friday night. I started looking for a plumber to come out ASAP -- Klug Plumbing was not only the only one to call me back the same night but also come out first thing the next day.
Bob assessed and repaired our pipe, while checking if anything else was affected by the issue. He expertly repaired it and had it working within an hour.
I appreciated his communication leading up to arrival and how he explained the issue he found. If we ever have more plumping needs Klug Plumbing will be our first call!

I had a new furnace and central air installed recently by Restano and they came in substantially less on the price then several other companies for Carrier units. The install was done in one day and they left the place clean. There were a few minor problems, omitting a basement duct and a pinched wire but they came out and corrected them promptly. I would have no problem recommending them to anyone.

I can not recommend these guys enough and I've been telling everyone who will listen about them since they were here. We got ripped off and ghosted by another plumber, so I called Shelton Plumbing. They came out same day and had my problem fixed in less than an hour and literally saved me thousands of dollars. To top it all off, they were extremely conscious of COVID protocols and made sure I was comfortable with everything they were doing, even down to placing their clipboard on my table. I've been beaming all week and I'm just SO elated to have found a great, trustworthy company to call when we need them. Thanks again guys!!!

Called on a Saturday night around 6 pm. Had 2 inches of water coming up in both drains downstairs. They were there in about and hour and had the drain cleaned out in no time. Didn't try adding on any unnecessary work. Just snaked it, made sure it was good and was on his way.

This is definitely the go-to company when needing a plumbing or heating service! I had a leak in my upstairs bathroom and I called and they were very attentive to my needs! The service was quick, reliable and very reasonably priced. I would definitely trust Mark Puharic's plumbing for any of my future needs!

I like to use local and family owned businesses. Our longtime plumber retired so we're on the market again. Curiously, Cuccaro's website has rave reviews. Based on the poor quality of response I've had from them, I suspect they curate these and only post the ones from their satisfied customers. They can curate their website--Yelp? Not so much. I found it quite interesting to find that the recent positive Yelp reviews for their services are from 2019 and 2020. Nothing current. Hmmmm. I should have checked Yelp before trying to hire Cuccaro!
I filled in Cuccaro's online form over a month ago--received a fairly prompt reply and set up a time for someone to come and give us an estimate. I've called, texted, emailed, left messages---to no avail. Not even a --Sorry--we'll get back to you. At the beginning of this week their receptionist actually answered the phone instead of it going to voice mail. It's been a full TWO WEEKS since the guy came to look things over and 4 days since the receptionist said she'd get right back to me. Still no estimate--and when I called the receptionist herself admitted she hadn't received anything from their estimator. I don't know if their work is any good or not--but they're sure lousy at customer care and support. So.not.prompt. What is clear is their website is more hype than reality and if it's going to take them this long to give an estimate--I can't begin to imagine how long we'd have to wait to get one of their plumbers here. I know life can be difficult and there are often mitigating circumstances--but several weeks of waiting and not hearing anything whatsoever from Cuccaro is really unconscionable. I'm not going to wait to find out what kind of work they do. I've hired someone who's actually showing up and doing the work. I definitely DO NOT recommend Cuccaro!

Terrible customer service, scheduled drain cleaning on a Friday for the next Monday (line was totally backed up but since it was a $64 special we waited), They called on Monday morning saying they don't service my area. Nice to leave customer in a bind!

Highly inflated prices for drain cleaning and plumbing services. Technician was pleasant and showed up within the provided time frame, however wanted to charge $300 to pull a toilet/replace wax ring, and an additional $250 to clean a clogged drain. I declined service.
Was charged a $55 trip fee (waived if you accept service) for me to tell the plumber what I needed done and him to reveal pricing, despite the website and advertisements touting free estimates! The estimates are NOT free if you decline to have the work done, or simply cannot afford it.

Awful experience!! I can't even give then a 1 star in truth!!!!
Over prices and a scam!!! He came, told us we had a leak, duh we already knew that, quoted us $450-$650 just to open the ceiling to get to the leak, which American Home Shield ( we HAD a contract with AHS) would not cover to open the ceiling. Then the expense of the material, and if the pipe had green spots which he said; I'm sure it does, AHS would not cover that either. He left and didn't do a darn thing! Took our 100.00 to tell us we had a leak omg!!!
Next day had the plumber we always use and the job was done in less than an hour for $155.00!!! Tiny pin hole leak,
Do not use this plumber or AHS its a scam!!!

We had our HVAC installed by Restano in 2008; all new ducts and appliances. Restano has serviced the system since then. When we've had an issue with the system, Restano was thorough in making sure we got the most out of our warranty, and then some. The company does regular servicing for an annual fee that is reasonable. As with any contractor, you need to ask questions about the work. But, overall, the workers and the work have been great.

Oh, if only I could give negative stars. We came home Tuesday night to find that Mr. Rooter was working on the elderly lady's house next door, and had dumped all the dirt from a ditch they were digging onto our property, and left track marks all the way up to our gardens. He very kindly placed the dirt AROUND the property marker that had been put in when our fence was put in. The excavator they used had Mr. Rooter stickers all over it, and was still parked in the neighbor's yard. We spoke briefly with her, and she assured us she hadn't been home when the work was done, so we went back to our house and my husband called the number on the excavator. The first girl who answered the phone, Sierra(sp?) asked my husband four times for our address, and he explained that they were actually doing the work at the address next door, and kept repeating not only our address for her, but saying, but the work is being done at (neighbor's address). He started to get frustrated after she asked the fourth time, and asked her for a supervisor because we have property damage. She yelled at him that she doesn't care if we have property damage and hung up on him. He called the local police and requested they come out to make an incident report for the damage.
In the meantime, I called Mr. Rooter back and told the girl who answered the phone this time, that I didn't appreciate her hanging up on my husband, and she said her name was Deena and she hadn't hung up on him. I apologized to her for accusing her and told her that we had already called the police, who were on their way, and that I needed to speak to a supervisor. They get very polite once they find out police are involved, and she had the excavating supervisor, Bill, call my husband back. I'm honestly proud of my husband for keeping his cool talking to Bill, who started raising his voice and arguing that it wasn't his fault his employee had thrown all the dirt in our yard, and basically told my husband to deal with it, and kept getting louder. I was standing four feet away and could hear him yelling through the phone. Again, husband told him police were on the way, and he got very polite. Husband told him that he wanted the franchise owner's number, and he refused, but told him they'd be out to fix it the next day. Husband told him this is the second time it happened (it also happened last year, but to a much lesser extent), and that if it happens a third time, we're going to be calling an attorney. The police came out, agreed they'd made a mess of our yard, and have written up an incident report.
They did come out and clean up the dirt yesterday, although the track marks are still in the yard. But apparently they called the lady next door and told her that I'd called them IMPERSONATING HER, and that I'd put my husband on the phone to IMPERSONATE HER DEAD HUSBAND. So now she's mad at us because she actually believes we would do something so freaking insane. Unbelievable. DO NOT USE.
