Best Commercial Services in Pittsburgh PA
I was not at the home during the service -- but this makes my review even more important to me. I learned about it all from my Aunt who was super impressed with Todd from First Call Plumbing. The sewer backed up to the point where we could not use our appliances and were apprehensive to flush the toilet. My Aunt's regular plumber was on vacation so we had to find someone new. My Aunt was very skeptical about using someone new, but the smell was unbearable and she had no choice. Calling Todd same day, he was helpful, polite and ensured he fit us in, and on a Saturday, too. In addition to solving the problem, he assisted in clean up. He also did a review of other areas of the home. Pricing was generous -- they only charge OT on a Sunday! Thanks for a great experience, Todd!

We have used Scott Boyd plumbing ourselves and recommended them to my mother and our son for various jobs. Here's the first unique thing - they answer the phone!! Number 2 thing is this( wait for it) they actually show up when they say they will.. I know most of you will call bs on that, but it's 100% true!! We have been stood up by various plumbers ( yeah you know who you are) so many times I still can't believe these guys show up!! And if they have the parts , they fix what needs fixed. And what they charge is really reasonable. Nice people, decent prices, good work. And don't forget- they actually SHOW UP! So if you want a totally new experience- give these guys a call.

Top notch, efficient and capable. . (and tidy too!) Mr. Brown is the real deal plumber. He does excellent work at an affordable price. We will recommend him to everyone we know!

Many times you find contractors to not answer their phones let alone go out of their way for weeks to fix a noisy toilet. Not only has John spend countless hours in my home for various reasons but he's always looking into finding a better way to fix a toilet or sink or tub. To say Shelton plumbing is a good contractor is an understatement. They have always been on time, work swiftly, and pay attention to the small details. Anytime you need a shower toilet or sink fixed, I would highly recommend you give them a call.

I needed a kitchen faucet replaced after chronic leaking and rusting. These folks were friendly, professional, and fast. They did a great job and the pricing was very reasonable. I will definitely call on them again if the need arises!

I scheduled the air conditioner yearly service to be done on monday morning 6 /26/23@ 08:00- 08:30 last week. Chris H. arrived at 08:26 and did a fine job checking the furnace and AC unit and checking on some prior repairs and recomended work that was suggested to be done from an earlier check up. Thanks for keeping things running right.

We were having some issues with our water tank leaking, so we called Mr Waterheater. They returned our call immediately and sent out a technician as soon as we were available to have them come. The service on site was extremely friendly and quick. They walked me through what was causing our issue and even gave me the option to fix it myself or shop around if I wanted without any pressure. I opted to have them replace the necessary parts and the technicians did a great job. 100% would recommend them and will be working with them again if needed.

Great service, trustworthy and reliable. When one plumber told me immediately without a thorough assessment that I needed a full bathroom gut job and quickly quoted me $5000-$6000, I called Bill for a second opinion! $400 later, a simple leaky tub was fixed and I was able to get my contractor in to fix the ceiling and saved thousands!
Monessen, PA 15062
I had a piped that was backed up and after sending a few hours myself trying to fix it I ended up calling. I called them a little after 9pm and got a call back in less then 15 minutes letting me know someone was on their way. They arrived at 9:45 and was able to clear everything out with in an hour. The plumber informative and was able to give us a lot of great advice. I would recommend Them if you are with in their area.

Bob lead an amazing renovation of our home in Coraopolis and we couldn't be happier with the quality of his work, and also his commitment to making sure we were happy and comfortable in our new home. I am so thankful that he was there to lead this project and we are beyond excited to start our new life in this home. D

Worst professionalism I have ever experience, the home warranty company schedule an appointment with J&A South Park LLC to inspect my water heater. The morning of the appointment I called the office to find out when the tech would be at my house, the person I spoke with in the office responded that they had no idea when they would at my home and they were not the dispatcher, I would just have to wait for a phone call from the tech. So I went outside to blow leaves. The tech called my cell while I was blowing leaves with a leaf blower @ 9:49 and I checked my phone at 10:25 and tried calling the tech back but it went to voice mail. At 10:30 I called J&A South Park back and I got an automated message the office was closed?? Really 10:30 am in the morning the office is closed. The tech didn't even have the courtesy to walk around the corner of the house to get me, he just hung the flyer on my front door: sorry we missed you, please call back to reschedule!. So upset and frustrated, reminds me of a scene from Grown ups II. While I was writing this review the tech called, and he said he would return later after another job was complete.. we will see.

I had my furnace installed last july. The installation was a nightmare. The young tech installed the switch upside down, left loose screws laying on ground underneath furnace (he apparently gave up on trying to screw them in), filter compartment was set up so ridiculously that you couldn't help from pulling/hitting the wires, my painted basement floor was all scratched up, he left leftover wire/dirt on the floor. When he told me he was finished, I walked over to the furnace to see if he would tell me anything about the furnace. He said nothing. I asked him where the switch was and to show me how to get the filter out since it was clearly impossible to do so. He didn't seem to be interested in installing this furnace properly. I'm only giving it 3 stars because when I called to have these things redone, the tech was very nice and apologized and chalked it up to 'young kids these days.' Also, this furnace doesn't sound quiet to me. If I have any future problems with this furnace, man am I going to be upset.

We had done work with Greg Friedman in the past and were mostly satisfied so we asked him to install a garbage disposal as well as attend to a few other small jobs around the house while we were on vacation. We trusted him to be an honest guy. When we came back, the disposal was installed and looked good; but he still had 1 job to complete (installing a tile backsplash ). In the meantime, our air conditioning system had a malfunction; we called the workman and ended up paying $86 for the house call. It turns out that Greg had turned off the circuit breaker for our air conditioner when he was installing the garbage disposal and failed to turn it back on. Since we were out of town, there is no other explanation. It created the malfunction, so we asked him to credit us the amount. He agreed to split it with us, but at the end of the tile job he added another expense without discussing it with us (reinstalling the outlets and a switch that were upgraded due to the tile job) and failed to pay us anything toward the A/C mistake he had made. Also, he takes multiple cigarette breaks and smells very bad...like nicotine and stale tobacco smoke...when in your home. The smell lingers even after he leaves. Regrettably, I will no longer be doing business with him for these reasons and cannot recommend his company.

I like to use local and family owned businesses. Our longtime plumber retired so we're on the market again. Curiously, Cuccaro's website has rave reviews. Based on the poor quality of response I've had from them, I suspect they curate these and only post the ones from their satisfied customers. They can curate their website--Yelp? Not so much. I found it quite interesting to find that the recent positive Yelp reviews for their services are from 2019 and 2020. Nothing current. Hmmmm. I should have checked Yelp before trying to hire Cuccaro!
I filled in Cuccaro's online form over a month ago--received a fairly prompt reply and set up a time for someone to come and give us an estimate. I've called, texted, emailed, left messages---to no avail. Not even a --Sorry--we'll get back to you. At the beginning of this week their receptionist actually answered the phone instead of it going to voice mail. It's been a full TWO WEEKS since the guy came to look things over and 4 days since the receptionist said she'd get right back to me. Still no estimate--and when I called the receptionist herself admitted she hadn't received anything from their estimator. I don't know if their work is any good or not--but they're sure lousy at customer care and support. So.not.prompt. What is clear is their website is more hype than reality and if it's going to take them this long to give an estimate--I can't begin to imagine how long we'd have to wait to get one of their plumbers here. I know life can be difficult and there are often mitigating circumstances--but several weeks of waiting and not hearing anything whatsoever from Cuccaro is really unconscionable. I'm not going to wait to find out what kind of work they do. I've hired someone who's actually showing up and doing the work. I definitely DO NOT recommend Cuccaro!

Cleaned and serviced our Mitsubishi mini split units throughout our house. We just moved and I had never had them before and the technician was so patient and polite with his responses to all of my questions. He took his time and inspected our outdoor unit, cleaned the filters for all 4 indoor units, put them back, and cleaned the drain line for an insanely low price ($75-$99 if I remember correctly). I was very pleased with this service and glad I found them, because we did not know who installed the mini splits and most companies declined to work on them if they did not install them.

charged us to come out for a dye test which they couldnt complete due to inadequate equipment (camera was too big for sewage pipe) while also unnecessarily tearing a garden downspout to see where it leads out (clearly into a planter)
I heavily recommend not using this company if you have an old house.

This company is terrible. First, they did not show up for a scheduled appointment at a vacant home, where we waited for six hours and called every 45 minutes to be told we were next on the list.
Second, they WILL NOT quote you over the phone and they changed me TWICE what they said it should be.
I hired them to do a lateral sewer camera test and a dye test. They inspected what I think was the neighbor's lateral sewer line and they never did the dye test. The technician showed up confused and told me he didn't have a camera. Then he left to go to the store to get the stuff for the dye test, which he isn't legally allowed to do because he's NOT A PLUMBER!
He came back, remembered he had the camera, insisted on using an outside drain entry instead of the two I requested he use inside of the house to detect potential problems in the house as well. He failed to complete the provided paperwork, or to have it completed and returned to me. He did NOT do the dye test and promised that his boss would come and do it. One month ago... and still no paperwork or dye test. They had no problem taking the money (200% of the normal rate for these services and no quote until the work was done?!?! Their policy??!?) and I have filed a BBB complaint, posted on Angie's list and have contacted them 15 times by phone with no response.

If I could give Hruska Plumbing 0 stars I would. In early October of 2022, I decided to replace the 15 year old hot water tank in my home. It wasn't an emergency so I got several estimates from local plumbers. Hruska's price was great so I contacted them and spoke with Brad, who is one of the owners...we discussed a timeline and I was told a project like mine was usually a one day installation, which was perfect...EXCEPT THAT DAY NEVER HAPPENED! I had read about other customers (and potential customers) experiencing a lack of communication with this company, but I decided to move forward anyway. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE! I quickly realized what others said was accurate. My phone calls to the office were rarely returned. The easiest way to talk to the Brad was via FB messenger, and even that wasn't a sure thing. It one excuse after another...an emergency at a school, coworkers were sick with COVID, a heating emergency for an elderly woman, family illnesses...all of which I was sympathetic to and understood. BUT, every time I contacted Brad for an update on my install, I never received a return call (though I had been told SEVERAL times I would be called). After the COVID illnesses at the company Brad even expressed they were backed up with work and how they were losing money, which is why I couldn't comprehend the lack of communication about a $1400+ job. FINALLY my patience gave out and on 12/9/2022, I sent Brad a message via Facebook (again, this was the most reliable way to contact him) and told him I was done with his lack of professionalism and would be finding another contractor, which I did immediately. The new contractor has been very communicative with me and my project is scheduled to be done 1/5/2023! BOTTOM LINE...BELIEVE THE REVIEWS!!
