Best Leak Detection in Philadelphia PA
Its a pleasure writing this review as Mark is now 3 for 3 for savings us in his caped crusade to alleviate home owner plumbing woes. We recently had our 28 year old washer/dryer finally give - the cold water hose was fused to the shut off value and wouldn't come off. With the fear causing a leak, I called Mark and with my Mom begging in the back ground - he agreed to an early Sunday morning visit to take care of the issue. Excellent work as always paying attention to covering items furniture/washer to ensure it doesn't get damaged.
I'll take this time to thank his wife for letting him come out! My mom told him to take you somewhere nice - hope he did :-)
Thanks again!

Economy saved the day! 2 days before selling our house we had an issue with a drain pipe. Anthony came out the day of our request and we cannot say enough good things about him. He took the time to figure out what the issue truly was, tried various ways to fix it and didn't stop until he completely solved the issue. He even stayed beyond working hours to make sure he completely and successfully finished the job. We really lucked out with finding Economy and we would recommend them any day! Thank you, Anthony!!

Where do I begin?!!! I received a call from my agent informing me that water is bubbling from my sidewalk and the streets are flooded. My water line had a crack in it! I live 2 hours away. Frantically, I was searching for a Great Plumber that can get this issue resolved as soon as possible. This is how I met Warren from Boss Plumbing. Warren, the owner himself, answered my call after 8pm on a Wednesday evening. He calmly explained my options and we agreed to meet the next day. He showed up on time and throughly explained worst case and best case scenario. He accepted check, credit, etc. The following day, he went to Philadelphia City Hall and got the permits to begin work the following Monday. He sent me videos, pictures and explained every step of the way. His work is fast and impeccable. Thank you Warren. If you want a reliable, knowledgeable and fair plumber, Warren is the Boss. Lastly, he is a 3rd generation plumber in his family so he has a wealth of knowledge with new school approaches.

Wow.... Good people with honest business models do exist in this world. I'll keep this short as this can become a novel if I'm not careful. John is a man of his word and honored everything he said to get me up and running.
I messaged John on Wednesday, 17-Mar-2021, about the current bind I was in with my hot water heater. I had been abandoned by another contractor (please check my last review posted on my page for those details and to know what company to avoid) who left my house filled with gas, hot water heater still not working, and was in real danger to contributing to a money pit to solve the problem.
John got back to me almost immediate, I explained the situation and John promised to have someone out Thursday between 12-2 to solve my issue. John's people showed great communication, expertise knowledge, and got me up in running with hot water again in about an hour. My first hot water shower in a week felt like I was being baptized in heavenly waters.
If you're looking for plumbing and heating services, John is you man. He will make sure to keep his word, explain everything to you, and do everything in his power to get you up and going again. Thank you John, you saved me THOUSANDS in headache.

I noticed I had a leaking shutoff valve under my toilet, looked on yelp for plumbers and noticed Plumbing and Things had great reviews so i sent a quote request (this was on Friday evening) Kit actually called me back about an hour later. I described what was going on, he told me what the problem most likely was and gave me a price, I agree because it was a good price. He was able to come out the next morning, he was on time , very professional and was very nice. The problem was exactly what he said it was, he completed the job and even cleaned up the area. The price was what he said no add ons and no surprises. I definitely would recommend calling Kit and getting Plumbing and Things for any job you may have.

Super professional plumber. Very responsive and came over quickly. He actually quickly identified that he wasn't able to fix our issue and referred us to a colleague with special equipment (who is also responsive and prompt). He didn't even charge us for the call. I would hire Mr Miller again!

Leo came out the same day, only an hour to two after I called. He gave me the lowest quote, and actually told me how much it was going to be to snake the toilet. The other companies I called could not give me a quote to snake a toilet, and told me they may have to remove the toilet, it could go upwards of $700, they needed my card information before they could tell me when they could come out, etc. this company made it very easy, and my toilet was easily snaked the same day in less than ten minutes. Amazing!!

I cannot say enough good things about Michael, who came out to look at my slow flushing toilet. I tried many things myself in an attempt to fix it and resolved myself to needing a new toilet, so I called MyPlumber. Michael first gave me a few tips over the phone, and when they didn't work, he came out. Most plumbers would have automatically told me I needed a new toilet, but Michael spent a good 30 minutes cleaning calcification out of the siphon jet with a wire hanger and the toilet was good as new. He was an unbelievably nice guy and even gave me some tips for unrelated plumbing issues he noticed in my bathroom. I have dealt with my fair share of crappy contractors and handymen so this was a nice change of pace. When you find a good one you have to hang on to them. Highly, highly recommend!

I had been using a plumber I was not thrilled with and almost called him again but I read the reviews here and decided to use Mr. Rooter. I got same day service for my leaking sink. Joe came out and was very professional. He gave me all my options and we decided to install a new faucet. Joe found other leaks in my sink area and cleaned them up for me. Before Joe arrived, I received a text with his photo and history so I would know who to expect. I felt compelled to write this review since I was helped by others who gave good ratings and led me to Mr. Rooter.

Nic came out promptly to replace my shower diverters and some eroded pipes in the back. He was quick, professional and explained everything he did. I'll be using him for all my future plumbing/HVAC needs, and the best part is, he is a local small business owner.

DrainPro Solutions was a great find for me, and, our home will continue to use their services for our plumbing and renovation needs. We worked with Manny who was extremely knowledgeable about all of our project ideas. We upgraded one entire full bathroom (full remodel: shower, vanity, floor, tub, toilet, and tiles) and minor upgrades to two half bathrooms. Manny was transparent throughout the entire process and even came shopping with us for parts at Home Depot/Lowes (telling us what to get and what overpriced items were not needed). His estimates are accurate and he always verified if additional labor or demo work was needed. He also crafted a solution for a unique bowl sink we had installed that wasn't fitted to our existing plumbing. Again his expertise is exemplary and I would highly recommend him and this company overall.

Rich came out promptly at our prearranged time and within 15 minutes fixed a serious clog that two prior plumbers could not fix, one whom was reputable and recommended me going through my homeowners for a broken pipe. He saved me thousands of dollars and his fee was reasonable considering he had to go on my roof!

I called to get my problem resolve. They couldn't do it that's sad they only charged me 198. I rented a snake from Home Depot and I unclogged my own sewer drain out back. I got paid 0. Funny how you pay for service and they don't even do the service smh. Yelp needs to make a no star j.s

Goodman has done work on my former home in Queen Village and also my current home in Point Breeze. They did the jobs right the first time and at a fair price. They showed up as scheduled and cleaned up after the jobs were done. I have also used them twice for emergency calls in the wee hours of the morning, water in the basement due to a pipe break and also a flood in my living room due to a pipe break, and they came out quickly and fixed the problem and prevented things from getting worse. I will definitely use Goodman again when the need arises. Plumbers in Philly are a dime a dozen but Goodman is top-notch. Thank you.

I would like to give this company a negative rating. I am a landlord and the property management company called Best Choice Plumbing when the tenant had a clogged toilet. The plumber went in, claimed the problem is the water efficient toilet and needs toilet replacement. Also he checked the bathtub, ran the water and said all good. The charge? $350 for de-clogging two drains, even though the plumber said the bathtub was all good. Dana, the office manager at Best Choice, basically said it's the plumber's words against the tenants words, and refused to speak further. She claimed the bathtub was smelly and plumber had to use the plunger, when I told her the tenant was present during the service call, and the plumber had no plunger, she quickly said there is no use arguing and will ask the plumber to call me back. Right yeah, I am still waiting for the call. I would warn anyone against using this company that makes money out of being dishonest, complemented by the lack of response. If the repair person's name is Robbie, refuse service unless you consider yourself a blank check book.
