Best Water Heater Installation in Philadelphia PA

In summary: Mark was timely and worked to ensure the job was finished to my satisfaction. The best part was his ability to get the job scheduled and completed quickly with upcoming international travel I had.

The details: I was having water in my basement, and so I requested a quote. On the day that I was available, he said he would arrive between 7:30-8am, and my doorbell rang at 7:29am. He was friendly and quickly diagnosed the issue, and within 3 hours I had my estimate. All of his email interactions were prompt, even as he knew I was getting other estimates.

As I confirmed my desire to move forward with him, I let him know of international travel I had in 7 business days...and was there any chance the work could get done before then? My sewer line needed to be replaced, which required excavating my sidewalk, which required appropriate permissions from the city. Within 24 hours my sidewalk was getting mark out by the city, and the job was done on days 5 & 6 of the 7 business days I had before leaving.  VERY thankful for his willingness and ability to do this job quickly. Oh, and again, he said he would begin the work at 7:30am, and at 7:06am I saw his van outside as he began to get the job set up. I was thrilled to have this taken care of before leaving.

We did have some dialogue over the weekend (between days 5 & 6) on the nature of the work that I was expecting and felt I had paid for. He went out of his way to have it completed to my satisfaction on Monday, when he otherwise could have fought me and stood his ground. There is a huge value to a contractor who is willing to listen to you and ensure you walk away happy. I will call him again!

Came our same to day to deal with a basement flood situation.  Guy they sent out was polite, quick to diagnose the problem, and honest.

Had a main drain line clog. Caused me to not be able to use any water in the house.

Tried Roto rooter first and after two appointments cancelled because they were hours late with no eta we finally had to look elsewhere.

Called Boss Plumbing. Wish we did that first. William & DJ arrived very quickly and handled the issue in twenty minutes. Fair pricing for Philly. Everything working fine now. Highly recommend.

I was so pleased with the service I got from Aqua Plumbing. I had called a different plumber to look at my kitchen faucet which was leaking a ton of water from the base - to the point where there was a huge puddle under the sink and on the floor. This first plumber took one look at it and told me that the whole faucet would need to be replaced...but this very same plumber had installed that faucet in my house about 7 months before.

I called Aqua for a second opinion, and after looking at it thoroughly he determined that a piece of the faucet needed to be tightened, which he did, and that fixed the problem! He didn't even charge me for the service. :)

Very  professional services were rendered by John Snyder and team. I was in need of someone to replace a hot water heater and he came through in just a day! I found him to be fair in pricing and helpful in explaining solutions to resolving plumbing problems. I can honestly recommend him if you're looking for a plumber with integrity.

I found my plumber!  The reviews on here are all true!  LOL  
I personally don't like to read a book when going through reviews so in a nutshell, I had another company who came out, took a look and said I need a sewer line replacement because they said the line can't be cleared.  Well, I wanted second opinion and am soooo glad I got one.  Kit came out and BAM!  He cleared it!  Saved me money!  
When he came, I told him the whole story, how the prior company told me I need a sewer line replacement and so I'm ready to do it if he gives me a better price.  He actually cleared it, no replacement needed!  He could've just gave me a slightly less quote and milked more money from me but he didn't.
I know I said I won't write a book, but as I was writing this review, I couldn't resist lol
If you live under a roof, you need to know a reliable plumber.  Here you go~

My outside drain was clogged and backing up into my basement I called a bunch of companies no one came out or didn't have availability until the next day. Rick came out within 20 minutes of me calling and did a fantastic job. Definitely would recommend. He saved my basement from completely flooding

After receiving a call from the water department about my $300 outstanding bill I knew it had to be from the toilet in our powder room. I had called a different local plumber from the yellow pages 2 weeks prior and never got a return call. So I tried again, this time via yelp and selected Miller Plumbing. They are local and had positive reviews. He was very responsive and fit me in that same day as he had another call in the neighborhood. He was on time, and diagnosed and solved the problem immediately and explained why, although the toilet is getting older, there was no need to replace it. He also took care of a local neighbor who called him when I told them he was visiting me that day. Miller Plumbing is now the only call I will make.

Tim Cullen provided excellent service and transparent pricing, and followed all COVID safety protocols. Couldn't have done anything better.

Didn't call them first, the first call would not show up. It was late, they came out they took care of it till it was done. I was very happy with their service.

Had a possible drain repair.Luan came on time and confirmed there was no leak from any pipes but rather it was a caulking issue.

I've had Chris and his team do a number of jobs for me in the past 5 years. I've always had good results, and Chris is always very willing to explain options and choose the best solution for the job. Definitely my go-to plumber.

Very helpful guys. Ended up saying that I don't need them and could work through the problem myself, gave me some pointers on how to do it and didn't take my money. Will definitely use them when I really do have a need.

My husband and I are recent Mr. Rooter customers our service technician was Scott McFarley This review is more for Scott than his company, Scott went over and beyond the duties he was sent to our home to  perform. Once Scott performed the request for which he came  evaluating and giving us an estimate for a sump pump which was reasonable compared to some of the other estimates that we'd received. Scott left our home and continued his investigation of our basement flooding problem. Through Scott's diligence and dedication to his job Scott found another solution to our water problem and saved my husband and I three thousand dollars!!!! Thank you Scott your are the MVP.

Kevin came out the same day for a difficult water heater project and was able to make it work.

Appreciate all the help! I would definitely recommend him to others and will be using him for future jobs.

Nic came out promptly to replace my shower diverters and some eroded pipes in the back. He was quick, professional and explained everything he did. I'll be using him for all my future plumbing/HVAC needs, and the best part is, he is a local small business owner.

Called Goodman Plumbing out of Feasterville & the next morning their friendly plumber was at my door. Diagnosed the problem within seconds; repaired the damage in a timely complete fashion! Accepted my coupon & payment by credit card with no issue. Quick, efficient, knowledgeable & professional Representative of Goidman's Plumbing. Have used Goodman many times over the years; have recommended them to neighbors, friends & family. Always happy with their services.

Do not deal with this company!!!

While working on my my neighbors property, they did several hundred dollars worth of damage to mine and refuse to even call me back, let alone pay reparations for their damage. More specifically, while digging up my neighbors lawn, they dumped what they were digging up on my front walkway and lawn and then caused several hundred dollars worth of damage to my property finishing the job.

In other words, they used my property without my permission and damaged it while doing so.
I have tried a number of times over thh past month and half to get someone at the company to fix my property and I have gotten nothing but silence; no one will call me back. I am extremely disappointed that they couldn't even have someone call back to apologize, let alone pay for the damages.

I am strongly considering suing this company in small claims court for the above described actions.

In the end, these people are awful. Do not give them your business. There are far better plumbers in the Philly region. If you value your property and your relationship with your neighbors take your business elsewhere.
