Best Water Heater Installation in Philadelphia PA

My hot water heater went July 2, which was the Thursday before a three-day weekend. I was drawn to JB plumbing based on the high ratings. Mark responded quickly and was upfront with me about his inability to get a water heater over a holiday weekend. He answered all of my questions and was very upfront about pricing and his warranty. He followed up with me first thing Monday morning, and he stated that he could squeeze me in on Tuesday morning. I admittedly stalled a little bit because I had reached out to several other plumbers, and I knew I would need to get the money together. But at the end of the day, not only was his price lower than most of the other quotes I received, but I also got a higher quality water heater.  Mark offered to put the water heater in on Tuesday morning, despite me not having all of the money. He stated that he could not let me continue to go without hot water. YALL...THIS MAN PUT IN A BRAND NEW WATER HEATER WITH A WARRANTY AND LET ME PAY FOR IT THE DAY AFTER. With all the craziness in the world today, who does that? We had never met, we only texted, and first thing Tuesday morning his crew was at my house. They installed my water heater in maybe an hour and a half tops. I ran out for an hour or so to get the rest of the money to pay them, and by the time I got back they were gone, and shortly thereafter I was taking a much-needed hot shower. If

I need to add that his crew all wore masks, as did he when he came to personally pick of the money. If you are anything like me, contractors and mechanic are major sources of anxiety. Having just come off of a terrible three-week ordeal with a mechanic, Mark and his kindness, quality, and professionalism was a godsend. I look forward to using JB for all my ongoing plumbing needs and I have already started recommending them to my friends. I could give them 10 stars, I would. THANK YOU MARK!

The guys were great! They resolved my issue with a leaky pipe in my wall. They were very thorough in their work and at a good price. Thank you so much for responding and coming fast.

We noticed a sporadic leak from a pipe in our basement and reached out to boss plumbing on yelp based on reviews. Warren immediately sent me his number and worked with me via videos and photos to help assess my issue. He let me know that we needed a drain cleaning as the leak was caused by a blockage and gave me an initial quote on the phone. He and his team came the next morning on time. They ran into some difficulties when it came to the way my pipes were configured but found a way to make things work so that I was comfortable and the risk of flooding in the basement was lowered. They had their work cut out for them but managed to clear the pipes pretty quickly and were communicative the entire time.

We've had trouble finding a reliable and knowledgeable plumber, but I'm happy to say it looks like our search is over. I'd highly recommend Boss Plumbing!

My flat fee was for $75, so I was surprised when charged for $125. I just needed one piece unscrewed and it took no more than 5-10 minutes with no parts added. The person who came was nice and professional, but I simply can't recommend paying that much for so little. Read the fine print with Aqua.

Has great reviews and cool dude met him once. But be aware that you will take a chance at being completely ignored without receiving the courtesy to even be told he isn't interested in the job. Hit him up twice for a job that we already spoke about. I needed it done and was ready to have it done immediately bc I preferred him and he seems to knows his stuff and looks like he does great work but he just read my messages and gave no response... twice. It's a slap in the face and its super unprofessional. Did nothing to the guy but ask him when he was available and how much. What's the point in having a business and being the best if you're not going to respond to customers? I'm completely remodeling my middle floor and basement starting october 1st as well and he wouldve gotten a sizeable job with that too but now I have to find someone else.

It's my second time using them. First time Kit fixed garbage disposal that I thought needed to be replaced at a fraction of the cost. That's when he earned my trust. This time I called for a faucet installation and I needed someone who know what he's doing. I was worried that gold finish  could be scratched during installation. It turned out even better then expected. Completely happy with service.

Rick Lucas is the best plumber in the area hands down. Rick and I have worked together for over 25 years. Quick example - today we had a plumbing underground inspection and passed without a problem. To quote the inspector verbatim he said it's nice to deal with professionals.  Probably the best compliment around. It's a pleasure to work with Rick and I will continue to use him for all our plumbing needs!

Miller plumbing is my go to for all plumbing needs. Mike always responds immediately, fixes every problem and his follow up afterward is great and rare to see these days. He is a true plumbing ninja and business professional. If you want it done right the first time, contact Miller Plumbing!

I'll start this out by saying - as you can see from my picture - that this was the best service technician arriving message I've ever gotten.  I loved that they provided me with a photograph of the person arriving, it adds a feeling of safety and security for when I answer my door.

Second, Billy, the plumber who arrived, was pleasant to speak with, reasonable, professional and he did a very good job installing a new toilet in a more challenging space. My house is approaching 85 years old, so things I have found in the world of repair and replacement can be ... interesting.  

He was careful to disclose to me all the fun things that could go wrong that would result in a higher cost, he was efficient and thank goodness none of those things were wrong, so we had a new toilet.  

I used the Yelp quote service to hire Valdel, and I have to say from start-to-finish they were all responsive, professional and the whole replacement felt effortless.

I would definitely use them again and would recommend to others. Thanks Yelp for pointing them in my direction!

Call them because my toilet was overflowing said that they would be a very soon never got any Cole no one ever

Leo came out the same day, only an hour to two after I called. He gave me the lowest quote, and actually told me how much it was going  to be to snake the toilet. The other companies I called could not give me a quote to snake a toilet, and told me they may have to remove the toilet, it could go upwards of $700, they needed my card information before they could tell me when they could come out, etc. this company made it very easy, and my toilet was easily snaked the same day in less than ten minutes. Amazing!!

Had a leak in my mobile.  Called the office and the girl said she would get someone right out

A couple hours passed.  Nobody.  I called back and asked if someone was coming.  The girl asked if someone called, I said no and she said Guess not.

Nice.  I cant speak for craftsmanship or pricing, but if you need sonething right away go elsewhere.  Peoples lives are effected and that dont care attitude made me write this review.  Ironically, the fix was easy.

Bernie and Mike were awesome.  Very knowledgeable and willing to help.  Cannot recommend highly enough.

We had a clogged drain pipe outside and the rain was getting into our basement. After multiple plumbers said they couldn't handle that type of work, we got Mr. Rooter on the schedule ASAP. Lenny came first thing in the morning and completely fixed the issue. He said he's seen it all and assured me he could get the job done, and he did. Extremely reasonable prices compared to some of the other quotes we were given. Lenny rocks!

Never got the courtesy of a response. Not quite getting why Yelp recommended them if that's how they behave. Best to move on from plumbers like this one.

Nic came out promptly to replace my shower diverters and some eroded pipes in the back. He was quick, professional and explained everything he did. I'll be using him for all my future plumbing/HVAC needs, and the best part is, he is a local small business owner.

My father had his heater fixed last Tuesday. Because of the unseasonably warm temperatures there was no need  to have the heat on for a couple of days.  When he turned his heat on the weekend it was not working.  He called them on Monday and they said they could not have anyone come out until Tuesday between 9-12, he called after 12 to inquire because it was past the time they said they would be there and was told they would be there between then and 4.  Two young men (different from the original person who fixed it on Tuesday) showed up to fix his heat. The technicians seemed to be inexperienced and were very rude to my 80 year old father, so he asked them to leave. I don't know about anyone looking at this review, but when I pay for something to be done,  I expect customer service to be superior no matter what.  So, I called about 30 minutes ago (today, Jan 14, 2020) and talked to a young lady about the situation that my father paid over $500 for a repair that was not done and she said she would have someone else call me back.  I received a phone call by a woman who she said her name was Adrian, explained the same thing I previously explained told them about the situation.  They were rude, unprofessional and unwilling to do repair what was clearly NOT fixed to begin with. If an 80 year old man who  can barely walk is a threat to you because he's talking to you, then you need to find another line of work..period.  

Because I'm posting this a month and a half later... I thought I had posted it.  I don't remember her name but o e of the ladies that I spoke to actually I mention that the lady who I spoke with on the phone actually hung up on me as well.  

The only good thing I can say is that the man that ended up calling me back because of my complaint, was a bit more professional, but they still did not repair what they had supposedly fixed in the first place.  I would not recommend this establishment to anyone, even if they paid me to do so!!

Dave, the plumber that came, was very courteous, on time and friendly.  He also did the work well.  However, my issue is with the management.  I called on a Friday to tell them exactly what my issue was with a deep drain clog in my kitchen sink.  The specifically told me that the service was $125 during the weekday and $225 on the weekend.  I decided to wait to Monday since I was off for the President's Day holiday.  Dave showed up and we discussed the issue.  He excused himself to the stairwell to call his office.  The office called me to tell me that the new girl quoted me the wrong price and the work is actually $225.  I asked them to meet me in the middle for $175.  They did not accept and said they would only do the work for $200.  This was not my mistake, I didn't ask for them to honor the original price and they were still NOT customer friendly.  They have very poor business sense.  I will not use them.
