Best Toilet Installation in Philadelphia PA

We had a small gas leak coming from the shut off valve of our stove/oven.  I found JB Plumbing and Heating on Yelp, and gave them a call.  While it was clear the were very busy, as my issue happened when the Philadelphia area was experiencing bitter cold and water pipes were bursting, Mark made sure to set up a time to get out to my place.  He was able to come early in the morning and finish up just in time for me to leave for work - so I didn't have to take any time off.  I'm not sure of any other plumber that would be so accommodating as to come out at 7am on the coldest day of the year, but Mark did.

Additionally, the way the shut off valve had been installed, it actually sat below the floor boards, which Mark also fixed.

Mark understood the issue and knew exactly how to fix it.  He was definitely knowledgeable and friendly as well.  I would definitely recommend JB Plumbing if you need any plumbing work done.

We had a leak from a toilet and called many places to try to get it fixed. Economy was very professional and responded quickly to my request. They were able to give me an appointment time that worked with my schedule. They called prior to their arrival to confirm time within the window they had given me. When they came, they quickly identified and fixed the problem. Price was very fair and they were great to work with. Would definitely recommend and use for any future plumbing needs. I cannot say enough about these guys - Warren (the owner) and DJ.  From my initial call asking for service on my hot water tank to the completed installation of the new tank.  These guys went above a d beyond as the identified several other issues that are par for the course in my charming older home.  From a bird in the duct to a blocked sewer line...they did it all.  They are polite, courteous, and highly skilled in the art of both explaining and showing the customer the issue(s).  A 90 minute job turned into 5 hours.  Boss Plumbing & Heating are now the official team for Hotel Hansberry!!!  The pricing is fair and this ole gal could not have asked for better service or communication of the issues as well as suggestions to go-forward services.  Kudos to Warren for taking time to teach whenever a training opportunity came up while DJ was working.

We had a sink reinstalled and some drain pipe replaced. The guys were quick and efficient with the install. When a slight issue came about from the work they did, they were out the very next day to fix that issue with no questions asked. Vinny was especially great as he informed us of any potential future work we should consider, but wasnt pushy on us getting it done that day. He was honest and answered all of our questions and eased our concerns.

Had a leaking shower faucet and 5 to 6 plumbers that we contacted just read our message and no reply at all.

John and the team response even during Saturday, and come earlier than they mentioned on the call. With a reasonable price.

It's my second time using them. First time Kit fixed garbage disposal that I thought needed to be replaced at a fraction of the cost. That's when he earned my trust. This time I called for a faucet installation and I needed someone who know what he's doing. I was worried that gold finish  could be scratched during installation. It turned out even better then expected. Completely happy with service.

Rick Lucas is the best plumber in the area hands down. Rick and I have worked together for over 25 years. Quick example - today we had a plumbing underground inspection and passed without a problem. To quote the inspector verbatim he said it's nice to deal with professionals.  Probably the best compliment around. It's a pleasure to work with Rick and I will continue to use him for all our plumbing needs!

We hired Mike to replace a toilet and sink in our half bath. His quote was competitive, and we really appreciated that he took the time to recommend new fixtures that would work well for our bathroom -- fixtures which were reasonable in price and easy to find at Lowes. He was able to do the work in our tight timeline, cleaned up after himself and was friendly and respectful while in our home. A few days after install, we noticed a slight leak in the new toilet which turned out to be a manufacturing defect. Mike was at our house ten minutes after we called him about it, and went out of his way to fix the issue even though it was in no way his fault. We are so glad to have found Miller Plumbing and will use this company for all our future plumbIng needs. Can't recommend Mike highly enough.

This is the second time we've used Valdel (and Steve A in particular) for a leak in the last few months.

Steve was awesome yet again in diagnosing our leak - he got here earlier than expected, is professional, courteous and very pleasant to work with and most importantly technically talented. He diagnosed, explained and remediated the plumbing issue in no time.

Like we said when we had our last issue - we would go to Valdel / Steve for any future issues and so glad we stuck to our word.

Didn't call them first, the first call would not show up. It was late, they came out they took care of it till it was done. I was very happy with their service.

Initially had a booked appointment with another contractor thru Home Advisor/Angi but he never showed up. So I went to Yelp and started a frenzied search here because it was after 3pm on a Saturday and I really didn't want to have to wait until Monday to get a new hot water heater.

Several plumbers responded but Luan was not only one of the first but immediately offered a quote and immediate availability. I texted him my address and some photos. Luan and Kapo were at my house by 5pm new water heater in tow. Flawless process, reasonable price (1,200 for new unit, installation and removal of old unit) and I was able to pay through Venmo. Kapo actually pointed out some other pipes that will eventually need replacement and I would be more than happy to use them again.

I cannot recommend Chris Williams enough. Chris has done many jobs for our family in both our previous home and our new home. He installed an entire master bathroom addition for us as well as other smaller jobs and repairs. Most recently Chris has helped us during a water main clog right before the holidays when we had family visiting and we're in a major pinch! If we had not hired him for the job, we would very likely have ended up with waste water overflowing in our first floor kitchen and bathroom on Christmas Eve!

He has gone above and beyond in many ways - from being available via text and cell at late hours, to taking the time to fully explain in layman's terms the details of every job he has done. He lets you know why he recommends the solution he is proposing as well as gives you options. He clearly thinks through each situation with care and does what is best for the homeowner. He and his team have always been courteous and kind, and on top of it all, his prices are very fair and reasonable. If prefer to work with someone you can trust and feel comfortable with, go with Chris!

These guys are here to help. I called them for sense they had one of the higher reviews on help and I was not disappointed. I didn't even need their services but they help me anyway. Bernie specifically walked me through my plumbing issue and taught me quite a few things that will be useful in the future. He also referred me to some great contractors that were super friendly, helpful, and fast! If i ever need a plumbing issue in the future I will definitely be contacting Bernie!. Thank you!

It's never good when you have a plumbing issue at 4pm on a Thursday. After calling a ton of folks and not hearing back from anyone and searching emergency plumbing Philly I stumbled upon Vinko plumbing and now have a new plumber in Kevin! He was very responsive, did the work thoroughly, walked me through what was wrong, what he could fix now, and what we should do later, and was an all around nice guy. Highly recommend him for your plumbing needs!

Nic came out promptly to replace my shower diverters and some eroded pipes in the back. He was quick, professional and explained everything he did. I'll be using him for all my future plumbing/HVAC needs, and the best part is, he is a local small business owner.

I reached out to Yelp on Sunday.. Mark got in contact immediately. He come out the next day on time , and got the job done in an hour. Very professional and reliable, will definitely use him and he's highly recommended!

Among the bad experiences I have had with contractors, what happened with Goodman Plumbers is in a category of its own as being an act of pure evil. This happened on September 17, 2018, five months ago, but I have been deliberately waiting to make sure the way the problem was ultimately solved did the trick.

The background is as follows. Two workmen came to install a new washer, and to do so they turned  off the house's main water pipe.  Old and much mended, the pipe burst from the pressure, spewing water everywhere until they turned off all the water in the house.  It was already early evening and they began calling all the plumbers they knew to see  who could come repair the pipe that very evening. The person who agreed to come (for $175) was Stan from Goodman Plumbers.  He said I had the original iron pipes and this meant that a very large section of the pipe would have to be replaced. The cost? $2000. And he couldn't do the job until the morning, so we'd have no water all night.

He had me over a barrel and he knew it.  It was getting late, people lived in the house, and I needed to put a solution in place. But $2,000 out of the blue? Somehow I found the strength to look him in the face and, to his great surprise,  say no.  Stan stormed out in a rage.  The washing machine installers found me another plumber, who drove over. He was shocked by how Goodman Plumbers had handled the matter. He fixed the pipe for $450 with a repair that was far less radical and which, five months later, is working just fine.

Called for help with plumbing problem and was told that someone would be sent the next business day between the hours of 11-2. I waited until 1:30 before following up because no one called to say they were on the way. The person who answered said they had no job order scheduled and apologized. She asked if I wanted to reschedule and I reluctantly said yes. Next day same problem..no call no show. I have used Best Choice in the past and the plumber was excellent. I'm giving them 1 star because of the lousy customer service from their poorly trained receptionist. Done with them.
