Best Air Duct Cleaning in Philadelphia PA
Nic came out promptly to replace my shower diverters and some eroded pipes in the back. He was quick, professional and explained everything he did. I'll be using him for all my future plumbing/HVAC needs, and the best part is, he is a local small business owner.

another great experience! Tyler, Bryan. all employees I spoke to or came to my home are awesome. very professional and friendly. . my ac unit stopped working. came out same day Tyler stayed till 1030 to get my bedroom to stay cool enough to sleep there. they were even going to go out and get a window unit so I could stay in my home. they came out next day as promised, replaced my system, cleaned up after and Tyler followed up to see how things were working. the manager came out a day or 2 later to recheck everything to make sure everything was working properly spending money on a new air conditioner is expensive but having envirosafe doing the job helps. reassurance. answered all my questions ,explained everything in detail so I understood it. what a great company.

I called and asked for a plumber to come asap and they sent one within hours. The problem was fixed with minimal damage to my home. He was polite, clean, friendly, quick and HONEST. I could not ask for anything more. Thank You Buzz Duzz for for sending someone so quick and fixing the leak. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a plumber.

Needed a hot water heater installed. The price they charged me was 600.00 under the lowest price I received before them. Thank you sunny

I called Goodman on a Sunday for something that was important to me but definitely no official plumbing emergency. A plumber called me back and we spoke several times throughout the day about the issue that I thought I could possibly address myself. I was wrong and we decided together that I would have them come out the following day.
My plumber kept honest and open about what time they would arrive and what approximate cost the job would have. When he arrived, he was courteous, clean and up-front about the costs, which were in line with his blind estimate.
While Goodman - and all plumbers worth anything - were rather pricey, I would call them back in a heart beat to do plumbing work in my home.

Bought a house and needed the furnace/boiler checked prior to the winter season. Was also having some issues with the system in general. I called the company that had serviced the equipment for years (The previous owner had highly recommended) and they no showed on me twice but called me back to see if I wanted to buy a service plan. (!?!). That was enough for me. I started the hunt for a new Heating guy.
Out of desperation I asked a friend for a referral and she recommended G.J. Stimmler and sons. (She raved about them and how honest they were) I'm very happy that she referred them. In no time, I had the owner Andy and his assistant on my doorstep and the furnace was being cleaned and inspected. They identified the cause of my problems and replaced an electrical part. The bill was very reasonable and I never felt like they were rushing to get to the next job.
This is a local, family owned company that's a couple of generations in the making. I can see why they have endured. The entire time they were working, Andy answered my barrage of questions about hot water heating systems in general and my 36 year old boiler in particular. I asked when it should be replaced. Clearly, there are no high pressure sales tactics here. I was told my system is past it's normal useful life of 30 years but that it's been very well maintained and does not look it's age at all. He said it was a coin toss and that the boiler could last for a few years more or die in a few months. There's just no way to know. He simply suggested putting money away as and when I can and planning for a new system down the road. On top of that, when I asked him if he knew of a good tree service, he gave me a name and number that worked out fantastically.
What sealed the deal for me was about a month later, I called the emergency line because my furnace went out. Andy diagnosed the problem over the phone based on my description and told me what to do. Heat restored. Zero charge. These are the only guys I will use from now on. I cannot recommend them enough and I see their truck in the neighborhood a couple of times a week at least.
Irrelevant but interesting - I recently looked at some of the yellowed paperwork and instruction sheets that are tacked to the basement wall near the furnace. (Most pamphlets are for equipment long since removed but they date back to the early 60's.) These documents were added to over the years by Obsessive owners as new parts were installed/equipment replaced and they have apparently remained untouched for decades. Being a history nerd, I took them down and sifted through them and discovered that my boiler was installed (in 1980) by none other than G.J Stimmler and Sons. Irony! That just gives me warm fuzzies. One generation of a family business installed the equipment, the current generation will (eventually) take it out and replace it. Full circle....

I was extremely happy with the quick response and great service. My wife called me at work saying that water was shooting out of the drain line for the washer in our basement. I called price's plumbing and they were there in less than a half hour. Diagnosed and fixed the problem before our basement was flooded. Thanks price's plumbing for saving us from a major disaster. I would highly recommend and use them again.

More like worst choice. This company has terrible admin practices. The women that answer the phone are always rude and misinformed. This company did not adequately service my unit, or find the problem. I'm out almost $700 and still have a broke unit, and no solutions. Their operations manager just told me that they don't have the tools needed to service my unit because it's too expensive. Save yourself the hassle and find another contractor.

They were able to schedule me in quickly for both plumbing and HVAC service. Had to reschedule one appointment (because they were running late), but both technicians were great. The plumber helped me quickly diagnose my problem, which it turned out didn't require a costly repair (yay!) Would definitely call them again!

The gauge on our boiler had been broken for a while. Bill was very communicative and responsive to my husband's inquiries. On the day of our scheduled service, two workers under Bill came on time and worked on replacing the gauge. They did a great job at answering all of our questions and went above and beyond in their service. We are so grateful that we found Bill of East Falls Plumbing.

Our experience was poor. The last-ditch repair Nichols made to our aging oil burner was unsuccessful, and though it is understandable that not every $500+ repair yields good results, what really disappointed us was Nichols' refusal to speak to our home warranty company about the repair. Nichols was aware that the repair was covered by our home warranty, and that it was based on the home warranty company authorizing the repair that we agreed to have it done, but when the home warranty company had questions, no one from Nichols would speak to them. I called Nichols several times asking them to return the warranty company's calls, but it never happened. On one occasion, the receptionist was quite snippy with me for bothering them. All I wanted was for someone to have a five minute conversation explaining the repair so that I'd get the $500+ I had coming to me, but apparently, this was too much trouble.
Again, they knew that we were only willing to risk money on repairing the old system because of our home warranty, but they just took our money and ran after making the unsuccessful repair.
I would not use Nichols again.

I can't recommend Filan & Conner highly enough! We were in a dire situation, trying to make settlement on a tight schedule. F&C were so accommodating. Got us scheduled right away and were able to do repairs and inspection within 24hrs. Pricing was fair and they were very clear on what needed to be done and why. Tyler was great, he will be my first call whenever I have a plumbing or hvac problem.

Allied installed the heating unit in my house in 2015 and the blower motor failed about a month ago. Luckily it had a 10 year warranty and the part was covered, but not labor. Allied sent out a technician to fix it, but he could only install a temporary motor since they didn't have a OEM part in stock. That was $129 for that service, not bad so far. They called me back when the OEM part was in stock and ready for install and told me it would be an additional $179 for installation of the new part. I refused to pay the additional cost, since I already paid them for the service the first time. Very rude company to deal with, just get PSE&G worryfree and forget about using Allied Experts.
