Best Septic Tank Installation in Oakland CA

Rey Lacayo has flaked on scheduled appointments with us more than once. This morning we had an appointment to fix a semi-emergency plumbing problem (kitchen drain pipe busted, with out-of-town relatives due to arrive any minute). Not only did he not show up at the scheduled time, he didn't even call to tell us he couldn't make it.

Lacayo Colt Plumbing has done acceptable work for us in the past, but because of their lack of dependability, we will be looking for another plumber.

I needed to find out the brand for the valve I currently had installed (but the key identifying parts were broken off) and couldn't tell what the brand was.
I called and asked if they could help and I was told to just send some pictures and they would try to figure out the brand.
Within a minute I had my answer and they were right!

The company I contacted previously wanted to charge me $140 to identify the brand. So I was thrilled this company could help me without needing to send some one out or charge me for a min worth of research.

Our water heater started leaking and I reached out to a couple of companies on yelp. Infinity was the first to respond. They sent out Carlos to provide us with a quote. The price was lower than the other two companies and they had everything they needed on their truck to get to job done.
They were done within a couple of hours and we had hot water with in an hour of them finishing the work. I'm so happy with their service from start to finish,  the office staff were professional and the technician Carlos was polite and explained to us how to maintain our water heater to prolong the life of the unit. I'll definitely be calling these guys again if we need any plumbing work.

I never write reviews, but these guys are worth the time and deserve 5 stars - which I would not give out easily.  I needed my sewer line snaked last week and they were able to come out the next day (it wasn't an emergency).  I had read in their reviews that they put on booties when entering your house and I was sold (I have had many service people work in my home and none of them put on booties without being asked and even then many resented having to do it).  Plus they showed up on time and called prior to arriving with their status.  Dominic and his bother, Julian were respectful, polite, hardworking, thorough and did a great job.  Plus they didn't try to upsell me or scare me about the status of my pipes to get more work/money out of me.  Dominic offered options and suggestions.  As a woman in her 50's, I've dealt with many service men who either talk down to you or try to take advantage of you - I trusted Dominic completely.  It's nice to work directly with the people who own the company and who's work represents their strong ethics.  I wish I could find people like Dominic and Julian in all service fields.

A neighbor came by while they were loading up to see if they were available to help him, and I was so happy to 'pass them over' with a big thumbs up.

Oh, and offer them water, people!  They won't ask, but they will appreciate it.

Adolfo was quick to respond to an emergency plumbing issue we had with a leak in our kitchen sink area. Not only that but he was extremely friendly, took time to explain things to me and gave me options/suggestions for resolving the issues. We found his rates to be quite reasonable. A few days later we had him come back for other work. Highly recommend Adolfo!

I really was impressed with the professionalism of office staff in setting up an estimate for a new AC condenser.  Also, the technician who came to do the estimate notified me that he was on his way and got me a professional estimate (that spelled everything out) immediately.  He was very responsive to my emails.

They gave me the best priced estimate (Landlord Special) and if they had an available install date sooner, I would have gone with Pacific Coast.

I will definitely contact them the next time I have a HVAC need.

Water heater was leaking.  Received quick reply and service call.  Plumber was friendly, but charged $2175 for 40-gallon water heater, labor, and related valve replacement.  The new heater was installed the same day, but without cover over lower compartment and numerous exposed wires in that area; when I asked about a cover, the plumber replied, that's how they come now.  After confirming otherwise by internet images, an inquiry to the office was made the next day.   Joe, the service manager, put in much effort to locate a cover, came over and installed it,  and otherwise worked with us to resolve our other concerns.

Mike removed an old bathroom sink faucet and replaced it with a new one.  He encountered some complex challenges in the process due to the fact that I live in an old building with the original pipes that are problematic.  Using his extensive experience and a big dose of creativity,  he diagnosed what appeared to be an intractable problem and resolved it beyond my expectations.  In addition to the bathroom sink, Mike also worked on my kitchen sink faucet that had been poorly installed and leaked.  He quickly diagnosed the problem and worked diligently on fixing it.  He has a pleasant persona and is an excellent communicator.

I was completely satisfied with the end results and would highly recommend Mike if you have a plumbing problem that needs top-notch results.

We had what appeared to be a blocked lateral to the sewer line, water dripping in a difficult location. I called Jorge and, amazingly, within 10 minutes two guys appeared at my door. They said they happened to be nearby.

The located the problem--fortunately not a blocked sewer line--and the repair--a broken fitting--was handled immediately.

Could not ask for better or more professional and prompt service.

Great service, great work. I am happy with Trenchfree. Our water pipe line running from city valve to our house had a major leak and blockage from tree roots. Trenchfree provided an elegant solution with minimal disruption to our front yard. They arrived quite fast, assessed the situation, performed the work, got a city permit and all without my involvement. Invoice was emailed to me after the city permit was issued and payment was made easily online. Carlos was the rep that helped me out. Most recommended.

Khan & team fit us In last minute in their schedule. Our water heater didn't work, replaced it with a 40 gallon very quickly, efficiently and without trying to sell us additional repairs or products. We even suggested to khan that we needed a pressure regulator that another plumber said we needed and khan thought it would be a waste of money and would probably not fix our issue of banging noise when we turned off the water. Turns out replacing the water heater fixed our hanging pipes. I've been using my old plumber for years but khan just seems more knowledgeable and experience.

I had a great experience with Avalon Services. When Juan came to give me a quote he took a lot of time to explain what needed to happen and why. Scheduling was easy and communication was great from start to finish. Christian was on time, respectful, and did a fantastic job.

Mario Plumbing did a great job in repairing a kitchen sink valve.  I requested an early appointment and they arrived as requested.  The price quoted was the price charged.  They wore proper masks/shoe guards.  Great service!  Thank you.

Very professional and reliable would recommend 100%. Hector is very knowledgeable and honest. He came to our office to fix some lose tiles and we were more than pleased with his work. He was punctual and explained the work he did to the very last detail.

Open disclaimer: I've known Joel since he was my middle school student - brilliant, kind, and honest in every way. My favorite memory is of him performing a biology rap in front of the whole class. I've watched him navigate high school and post-secondary and it's been incredibly impressive to watch him grow this small business in this short amount of time. He is always with you respond, gracious with his service, and fair with his quotes. He's also incredibly smart, which I haven't had to make use of yet, but I know will be important when there's issues beyond just your basic plumbing/rooter job.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague. Unprofessional and they don't answer their phones. Literally will leave you hanging and does not fulfill their commitments. WORST business ever! I can't express how aggravating this business has been to work with. So many other choices and we had to work with this company. Don't make the same mistake I did working with these people. AVOID this place like herpes!

Any time your 4-year old fills the toilet with an unhealthy combo of poop and baby wipes, there's bound to be a plumbing emergency.  Well try BOTH toilets in the house.

It happened.  Fortunately for us, Clint at Rhino Rooter saved the day.  He showed up within a half hour of my call and fixed the clogged toilets in about 15 minutes.  He was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and did not cause us any further embarrassment about the treasures he encountered in our toilets.  Not to be gross, but my kid did have a lot of carrots the night before.

So, to sum it up:  POOP + WIPES + CHEAP TOILET = RHINO ROOTER
