Came in and fixed the problem quickly, only charging us for the investigation fee. I really appreciate that Vladimir wore a mask and plastic bags over his shoes. He was super friendly and explained what the issue was.

Abraham just came out to snake our sewer line. He was very easy to reach (a rarity with contractors), friendly, knowledgeable, fast, and reasonable pricing. He was at our rental property within a couple hours of calling him. Will definitely hire again in the future.

As a property manager it's CRITICAL to have reliable, knowledgable and responsive people to call for repairs.  I'm *proud* to say that Ben with Service Star Plumbing is invaluable to me.  He has been able to evaluate, troubleshoot and quickly resolve issues other plumbers haven't been able to figure out.  He explains what he does and his pricing is reasonable.  Can't say how much I appreciate you Ben!!

Gil was reliable and helper fixed the leak at home. He was cost effective and highly reliable.

We needed help with some work around our relatively new home AND in dividing one very large bedroom back into 2 bedrooms.  It's messy work - some demolition, some hauling away hauling things in - and it was on the 4th floor. They worked around a complicated schedule too. Complicated electrical re-work, hanging new doors, and drywall work & painting was involved. Felix was the lead guy on the job and he was great.  The guys were punctual, tidy, courteous and did good clean up work.  Drywall work is very dusty so nothing is perfect folks, but Felix and the 3 other guys did a fine job.  We are very happy with our 2 rooms!

The situation: our bathroom at the office.  The scenario: the faucet was broken inadvertently by our housekeeper.  After having one of our guys--NOT plumbers clearly--look at it the search began for an elusive part.  Dozens of plumbers & plumbing supply companies later and still no part.  Months pass and we are washing our hands not in the bathroom but in a nearby sink.  It isn't pretty.
One day I pass Lunt Marymor on the way into work.  I call them.  The lovely woman who answers asks me to describe the faucet, then asks me to send a pic from my phone.  She IDs ithe faucet from the pic!!  How cool is that???   Some German faucet company.  Anyhoo, she gives me a quote--and sadly, I know my boss is not going to go for it.  But then she calls ME back to say there is a less expensive yet similar style faucet she knows of, half the price.  Long story short: we are washing our hands in our bathroom like civilized people now and Lunt Marymor is the reason why.

I have had a strange plumbing issue for years - black, oily flecks come out of the hot water in my tub.  Multiple plumbers (costing loads of $s) have tried to fix it.  I finally turned to Albert Nahman.  Mario - who is a senior plumber on staff - came out and did what he thought was a fix.  Unfortunately, the issue reappeared a few days later.  
Mario just came back to try another fix.
Both times, Mario went above and beyond to make sure I understood the issue as well as the reasons for some other plumbing quirks in my house (cloudy water in the taps over the water heater, re-circulating pumps).
Though it was hard to get a response to my messages that the issue had not been fixed, once I was able to talk to a knowledgeable dispatcher, Mario was sent right out.
My fingers are crossed that the issue is fixed.  If not, I know for sure that Nahman plumbing will stand by their work and come back until the issue is resolved.
Nice to have a company that is so reliable!

Paid $110 for incorrect information about my existing furnace repair.  Thank goodness for the requisite 3 estimates.  The second company, El Cerrito Heating and sheet metal made the repair quickly and professionally, and I was not faced with having to replace my existing furnace.  Now my unit is quiet for the first time since I have had it!  Good for another 10 plus years at least!

Had hard water damage to a bunch of faucets. Fixed cartridge and cleaned and greased the faucets. Came in and fixed this quickly. Was easy to schedule. Wore a mask and removed their shoes while working in the house. Would hire again.

I've known owner Tom Cortez and his family for over 20 years through St. Raymond's in Dublin, but when our Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) went out last week. that was not the first reason I called Savior Plumbing.

The reason I called is great service. Tom sent a crew member out the next day and not only replaced the PRV valve, but also replaced some leaking hose bibs in the laundry room.

Their man was fast, efficient, professional and did excellent work on both jobs.

I highly recommend Tom and his great team at Savior Plumbing.

These guys installed the heating unit in our home.  I had some retrofitting work done later.  The retrofit workers disconnected some of the ducts (u can see them physically separated).  I called Rey to take a look about reconnecting the heating ducts.  
He hold me the main board was faulty & needed replacement, $900!

The retrofitting folks I hired was also a general contractor.  He had his people reconnect the ducts.  A year later, heating unit still works great.

Ted was fantastic - professional, courteous, kind and did excellent work! He installed a new faucet and repaired a broken window expertly and quickly, and was able to accommodate my schedule, despite contacting him on short notice. I'll absolutely be calling him again! Highly recommended.

Yeah, I don't know about Plumbing Guys in Oakland...We live in Alameda and my uncle-who owns the home - and is elderly and a little disoriented at times- talked with the guy that came out to assess the plugged up kitchen drain. He told him that the pipes that go out to the street were old and in bad shape- and the job would cost 2800.00 bucks to remedy the problem. He offered to snake the drain but warned us that if he broke the pipes under the sink- it would not be his fault
WTH?
This seemed a little fishy to say the least. We had another plumber come out this morning from Ben Franklin Plumbing- and they said the 2800 dollar estimate was preposterous- and they could fix the problem for less than 400 bucks. The plumber, Michael, dressed in a nice clean jacket with the company logo- was professional, courteous and kind. The job was done in a half hour! They gave us a senior discount - and the bill was 365 bucks! Be careful when you call plumbers in to fix a job. They know that the home owner needs to have it fixed and can prey on them with unnecessary work. Ben Franklin saved my uncle over 2400 bucks. Bravo!!

I had an issue with my electrical outlets in one of my bathrooms not having any power run through them. I checked for any tripped circuit breakers, but none were tripped. I reset all of them anyway just to see if that would work. It did not work. So I requested quotes from many electricians here on Yelp by explaining my issue and wondering how much it would cost to fix. Most of them replied back by stating how much they charged, anywhere from $100 to $250. Paul stated he would charge his minimum of $125 for labor. I then replied back asking him if he had a sense of what the issue would be. He promptly replied back that the issue could be that a GFI electrical outlet (one of those outlets that have those Test and Reset buttons) needs to be reset. I wound up pressing all the test and reset buttons on every GFI outlet in my house. That worked! I had power again running through my bathroom outlets! The culprit was a GFI outlet in a different bathroom in my house. Go figure...I guess different outlets are connected to one another in different parts of the house.

I was really appreciative of Paul's help and honesty! He could've been one of those other shady and greedy guys who wouldn't offer to help unless I paid them first, but he wasn't. He knew my problem was easy to fix and suggested a solution that I could try myself. He saved me a bunch of money!

Robert was the best. We had a difficult clog in our sink and a broken garbage disposal. He fixed both issues. He spent the time with us and educated us on preventive maintenance. Incredible expience.

I have used Jorge's plumbing several times, from installing sewage sump pumps, rain water sump pumps, installing backstops and correcting past plumbers' shoddy workmanship in general. He's friendly, reliable and always gets the job done right. I highly recommend his services.

I have used Valley Plumbing about 5 times, but just getting around to a review.  I have found them very honest in their estimates, are consistent with high quality work, and the one time they didn't get it right, they made it right without discussion (the sign of a great business philosophy).

My most recent example.  I had a cold water pipe burst under my floor board.  Valley Plumbing couldn't get me on their schedule for almost 2 week (the sign of a quality business.... I don't know why another reviewer dinged them for that), so I had to use Roto Rooter after calling all the local businesses.  Roto Rooter wanted $5,000 to fix the problem, after I paid them $565 to diagnose the problem.  Luckily, I knew to run Roto Rooter off my property (they thought I was a whale who never got my hands dirty in my life).   So we took showers at neighbors for a while waiting for Valley Plumbing.  57 minutes after Valley Plumbing arrived, my water was back on.  For $440, I had the problem fixed, parts, and had them do a few other things that took a total of 2 hours.  All the staff are nice, clean up their mess, and one time they didn't even charged me for the visit (determined it was a problem with my gas meter and not my hot water tank).  Valley Plumbing is the way to go!
