Best Drain Cleaning in Newark NJ
Every time we have an issue we seem to always come back to Schaaf Plumbing. We tried other plumbers but Schaaf knows what they are doing. They are on the pricey side. The issue is usually completed with in a timely matter. Joe and staff is very respectful and friendly. They explain the process to you step by step.
If you need a great plumbing company Schaaf is the onyou want to seek in Bergen County.

I contacted A Rooter Pros to do a camera inspection. Mr. Abe Pires was very pleasant. He inspected several parts of an aged sewer line. He even replaced two corroded drain caps. I paid promptly but when I asked for a copy of the inspection, Mr. Pires told me that he didn't save the recording. He said he was doing me a favor and would do a before and after video, but only if I agreed to pay $1800 for hydrojetting and descaling the line. The camera inspection was $346 including tax. In total, he wanted to charge me over $2000 plus tax to clean out my line and didn't have any video to explain the report. I thought it was expensive, which is why I asked for a copy of the camera inspection to show my family before I signed a contract. He told me I had to agree and then he would do it again. Not only did he not save the recording but he wanted me to agree to pay $1800 before he would redo it. Plus, the report of the inspection was three lines of text on the invoice. What is the point of a video inspection if not for images, or a video recording in the report? All in all, I'm out of almost $350

Update: Our sink is now fixed. Also, our bathtub was snaked. The first visit was on a Saturday night. Follow up to do the job was on Monday. We could not be happier. These guys really are special. First visit was from the owner himself. The installation was performed by Miguel two days' later. Excellent service. Eternally grateful!

They asked for photos and a date for estimate. Sent information that was requested, never heard anything back.

John and his crew are the BEST. They are reliable, communicative and so easy to work with. We called him because we had issues with our heating system, and John resolved with quickly and without any BS. If you need help with your heating or plumbing, he's the guy!

There's no getting around it, this company is expensive. But they are also reliable, skilled, and experience. When you have a serious problem that you need fixed, this is the company you call. The bill will be larger, but you know that it will be done quickly and correctly.

It's not often that someone tells you that you don't need to pay them.
I called Frank with an issue and he did some troubleshooting with me on the phone. After going through the steps, Frank told me that pipes were probably not clogged and the issue had a different solution. He recommended I call someone else to fix this issue
He was highly professional and helpful.

My hot water heater had a leak from both incoming and outgoing pipes and needed a help. Guillermo was very prompt and gave me clear information about the issue. He was able come 1 hr earlier than the scheduled time, fixed the problem in about an hour. Maximo team is highly recommended.

We got the referral to Technician #552 through a friend's Facebook post. We were looking for someone to snake our sewer line so it was fortuitous. As per our friend's glowing review, he arrived promptly and spent time clearing the lines. Harun was polite, informative and cleaned up after he was finished. He also gave us good advice on maintaining our drains. I've already recommended him to someone else and happily give him five stars!

This Sunday morning our toilet overflowed. Drain Doctor was the only service that responded to our emergency.
Pedro arrived , diagnosed the problem and cleared the clog! Pedro was courteous, conscientious and a pleasure to work with!
Definitely will use this service again!

Another great service call - this time replacing three (3) steam radiator valves that hadn't been worked on in over 40 years. Lou did a fantastic job working through a very challenging repair.

Don't use them. Completely overpriced, came over an hour late and wasn't forthcoming about the price.

Really top notch service! I own a home in jersey city and unfortunately had a lead water line and a collapsed clay tile sewer line. This was a big job considering the sewer line was 10 ft. deep. I got a few quotes from some other plumbing companies and they were mostly around the same price; some were very high though. But after speaking to Bill Oriani in the office and having him walk the job I was confident he can get the job done.
Rachel in the office took care of all the scheduling and permit setup! Kudos to her as she had to deal with the historic department, building department, and traffic control. Living in JC; trust me that is no easy task!
Guarini completed the job in 1.5 days and explained and showed everything to me every step of the way. Overall great service and fair price for job that was done! Thank you Bill O. and Rachel!

They were incredibly communicative and helpful for me, even over the phone. The owner took his time via text and FaceTime to talk me through a repair process so that I could handle it myself, it was very helpful!

Alex showed up on time and was able to diagnose the problem quickly. When he came back with another plumber later in the week, they got to work immediately. An access hole needed to be cut in the basement wall for them to install a cleanout and snake the pipe, and they didn't do a very good job (if at all) of cleaning the area around the access hole, so I needed to go back and do some cleanup around the drywall and behind the wall.
Since the drain is now functioning perfectly, and their price was fair, I cannot complain, I just wish they spent a few minutes wiping down the walls and cleaning up.

I am sorry I didn't look here first. It's all in black and white.
Russo Bros. came to my home to clear a blocked bathtub drain. Without asking, they waived the $49 service charge, but the fee to clear the drain via a snake was $249 for 20 minutes work.
Their website is clear that they charge by the job and not by the hour, but I thought this was expensive. To justify an expensive rate by stating they don't nickel and dime you minute by minute reminds me of a pub sign that reads:
Buy one beer for the price of two and receive a second beer absolutely free
Russo Bros. doesn't do you any favors with pricing, but my tub is clear so they are capable of delivering the stated service. BTW, they will not provide estimates over the phone and the service charge of $49 is due if you refuse service. I asked.
UPDATE: Based on the comment below, these guys aren't transparent with their pricing and they are content to get paid $49 at a time. Look for a local plumber that will be willing to ballpark pricing. I was tricked into inviting them to look at my problem based on the waived $49 service fee, but found that really dealing with them was expensive at $249 for 20 minutes. I'm pretty good at math...that's $750 an hour...is this guy worth that? Not unless he is bringing bail money; look elsewhere for a value plumber.
