I want to give a big shout out to the three guys at A&S Plumbing. I do some amateur repair work around my house and - when I'm not making things worse - my know-how tends to save me a lot of money. Sometimes, though, I run into something that I'm simply not equipped to fix.
Such was the case when my kitchen sink backed up on both sides yesterday. I tried everything I knew, and it became apparent to me that there was a substantial clog far down in my pipes. I dismantled the PVC fixture, spilled gross water everywhere, and ultimately could not resolve my issue. I was sopping wet and stressed out.
We were unable to use the sink while this problem was present, and we couldn't reasonably prepare food in the kitchen. Time was an important factor! I phoned several businesses, fully prepared to pay an emergency service call premium and fully prepared to accept any run-of-the-mill company in the name of clawing back into normal living.
A&S was one of only two companies to return my 10 pm call before 10 am the following morning. They were also the only company that worked to fit me in the very same day. The person I spoke with on the phone was also very courteous.
Not knowing much about A&S, I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best.
Josh showed up punctually, comfortably within the time window in which I was told to expect him. He was charming, professional, kind to my dogs, very knowledgeable, and he took the time to explain everything he was doing. He isn't merely a handy dude who can fix a few things - he's a professional who understands the nuances of a specific craft extensively.
When part of my old, corroding pipe unexpectedly crumbled during the process of snaking the clog, Josh skillfully adapted and chiseled out a small section of the wall to accommodate a more appropriate fitting. He cautioned me about what I might expect from my old pipes in the years to come and also gave me great recommendations for keeping my pipes clog-free in the interim.
Josh did a fantastic job, though I was apprehensive at the thought of what my bill might amount to. I approved the repair without requesting an estimate, based on the company's good reviews and based on the fact that I was simply desperate to get the job done. I don't mind paying for good work, even though the price tag might elicit a private cringe from me. My grand total, however, was at least one-third lower than I anticipated; instead of feeling pained, I was relieved.
On top of it all, Josh even cleaned up his work area afterward, which was wholly unnecessary and unexpected.
After a terrible experience with the crooks over at Tom Drexler Plumbing, Air & Electric, I would have been fully satisfied with mediocrity. A&S provided so much more than that, though!
I haven't had a go-to company for plumbing in about ten years, but I'll be sticking with A&S from now on. They're a small, local outfit consisting of only three plumbers. To me, this equates to quality control and highly-personalized service.
Thanks to A&S, the job was even finished in time for my lovely wife to prepare a delicious dinner. Eighteen hours ago, I was scrambling around the kitchen and pulling my hair out in frustration. Now I'm eating homemade Chicken Parmesan in bed next to a hot woman and my only worry in the world is what show we should watch next on Netflix.

We have been using Apex Plumbing (John) for several years now. He is quick to respond, knowledgeable, and very fair with his pricing. He is married to our friends daughter and that is how we found out about him. He is super friendly and easy going. He has always fixed our plumbing issues (stopped up sink and or washing machine line) in an hour of less and typically comes within a day or two. If we can wait. If we need him right away he will be there. I am pretty sure John worked with his father until he retired and took over the business and has probably been doing this kind a work for 15+ years. I highly recommend. He is neat, efficient and again and most importantly he is knowledgeable. Gets the job done.

Fast, friendly service: The sewer line had to be dug up and cleaned out. A trap was installed. The work was done on a Saturday. It took all day. The price was outstanding. I highly recommend this company.

United Plumbing was sent to me through a program with the Louisville Water Company. I received a call from them almost immediately and they offered an appointment within hours. The technician, Seth, did a wonderful job. He was very polite, professional and courteous and resolved the problem very quickly. He explained what caused the clogged drain and offered suggestions on how to avoid problems in the future. I would definitely recommend this company.

I was remodeling my bathroom and I'm pretty confident doing woodwork and light plumbing work like changing faucets I needed to go from 2 to 1 handle in the shower and I didn't feel like I could do it myself. So wanted to try to find somebody local and I'm glad I did. The gentleman that came was so friendly and very professional. My dog wouldn't leave him alone and he didn't let it bother him at all. The pipe work looked great and very reasonable price. Thanks again!

Tom Jones to the rescue yet once again!! The units on one side of our very old condominium building recently experienced an issue with water backing up in the kitchen sinks. As always, I phoned Maeser Plumbing and was delighted to hear that our favorite technician was available. (We had to wait a few days for him, but we're always willing to do so.). Tom came out with his assistant Addison, and together they diagnosed and addressed the problem within a few hours. I'd like to mention that this involved repeated trips up and down three flights of steps which didn't seem to phase either of them. Once again, Tom took the time to explain what he suspected the issue was beforehand and then explained his findings once he evaluated the situation. He even offered recommendations to reduce the chances of having a repeat of the problem. (I got the impression that this was both for my benefit as well as for Addison's who I believe is in training.) Both Tom and Addison were very conscientious about wearing shoe coverings when entering the residences and made certain to check with me before leaving to ensure satisfaction with their work. Thank you again Tom and Addison.
Just FYI, I am moving out of the condo building soon and plan to contact Maeser (requesting Tom of course) if I find myself in need of plumbing services.

Got a free estimate. Did what they said they would at a fair price. The technicians were great friendly and safe. Came in under the estimate.

I received this company through my home warranty company (2-10). Tony was quick to call me, set up a time on a Thursday (I had to take a day off work) to look at leak. He initially said leak would not be covered by my warranty company. However, when I called 2-10 wty while he was onsite, they said they would cover leak as well as the plaster repair for my wall. That was puzzling. He capped my line, but then left, indicating he needed to get the claim approved so he ensured he would be paid. Two days later on Saturday, I still had not heard anything so I texted him. He responded saying how busy he was and he may be able to finish it up on Monday. When I called the warranty company, they said they still had not received a claim from him. If I have to wait four days to get a simple plumbing issue resolved, taking two days off work to do so, that is not what I consider good service. My recommendation is to ask for a different company based on my experience.

This was the worst experience I've had with a plumber and I've had several run in with plumbers due to remodeling. They charged a for an hour (150) service charge (70) they were in my drive way 4pm and then sat there for min 5 min came in spent 7 min in the house (this is not a joke I timed them). when asked why I am being charges 150 for hour of labor their responses were we always chare for a full hour after 10 min. I did point out that it was less than that but he stated he was my house for over 10 min. Utterly ridiculous. Their response when I talked to his boss who said is things have gone up. Also, he told me it took 50 min to drive there and then 50 min back and 20 min to find the part. I'm sorry that's really terrible business plan and I would strongly recommend that people read these reviews on this company before you call them because I wish I had. Also, for 274$ they did not check for flushing of my water with I found later shoulder have been done (This is was from a DYI U-tube)

My home warranty company assigned this company to me. A plumber came by my house on Monday to fix a clogged toilet. They were there five hours and were unable to fix the problem, and told me they would come back the next day with some different equipment to finish the job. No one followed up with me on Tuesday, and by Wednesday they told me they didn't have anyone available to come to my house and I would need to be seen by a different company. I understand that everyone is short staffed and busy, but it's absolutely ridiculous to leave a customer hanging like that and then tell them to go elsewhere.
Update: I got a plumber from a different company to come to my house today, they completely fixed the problem in less than an hour. I assumed there was something seriously wrong since Professional Plumbing was at my house five hours and couldn't fix it, but clearly they're just all around terrible.

If anyone is ever in need of a plumber, unfortunately I know of one to steer away from. They did a decent job with the plumbing, even though thought charged too much. The problem was the owner of the company went on a huge, racist rant against black people. It was appalling, deplorable, and unprofessional to say the least. Also did not wear a mask.
