Tom Jones to the rescue yet once again!!  The units on one side of our very old condominium building recently experienced an issue with water backing up in the kitchen sinks.  As always, I phoned Maeser Plumbing and was delighted to hear that our favorite technician was available.  (We had to wait a few days for him, but we're always willing to do so.). Tom came out with his assistant Addison, and together they diagnosed and addressed the problem within  a few hours.  I'd like to mention that this involved repeated trips up and down three flights of steps which didn't seem to phase either of them.  Once again, Tom took the time to explain what he suspected the issue was beforehand and then explained his findings once he evaluated the situation.  He even offered recommendations to reduce the chances of having a repeat of the problem.  (I got the impression that this was both for my benefit as well as for Addison's who I believe is in training.)  Both Tom and Addison were very conscientious about wearing shoe coverings when entering the residences and made certain to check with me before leaving to ensure satisfaction with their work.  Thank you again Tom and Addison.  
Just FYI, I am moving out of the condo building soon and plan to contact Maeser (requesting Tom of course) if I find myself in need of plumbing services.

We had a leak in our basement that came from our shower. Our technician, and the person he was training, were very friendly and professional. They fixed the issue in a timely manner and kept me updated on what they needed to do.

Our toilet backed up Saturday morning. They were able to send a person out within an hour or so. Sent me a picture of who was coming via text and email, a nice security touch. He was professional, reviewed my options and completed the job of snaking out the line within the hour. I felt charge was reasonable for work done.

Recently, the sewer backed up into our home in the middle of the night. We called Maser as soon as we realized it and they came out immediately. The two young men that came out worked hard to make sure that the problem was resolved. They were thorough and effectively solved the problem. I will be a loyal customer from this point on.

Thanks so much for the quick response of Maeser when our hot water heater exploded (due to a poor diy install job by previous homeowner).

They sent Justin out to meet with our son and he got to work immediately and not only replaced the water heater in a few hours, but also hooked us up with a reputable restoration company for all the damage the water has called.

I definitely recommend them. We signed up for their yearly subscription to not only receive discounts, but to keep our other utilities maintained.

What I love about Maeser is that they don't charge just for coming out--if they can't discern the source of a problem and a course of action, they don't charge for the visit/consultation. Recently, William came out because I had stained ceiling tiles under a bathroom. He was very courteous and did a thorough check on the bathroom and the basement, but found no water currently, said the damage was probably the result of a toilet overflowing. There was no charge for the check, even though he traveled to and from the house and spent close to half an hour on his diagnosis.

Maeser came very highly recommended from a friend of mine, so we reached out to them for some very routine maintenance and service for our single family home's HVAC unit. They were very personable on the phone and initially helpful in scheduling this service.

The day of service rolls around, and no one showed up to my house for service. As this was on a Friday, I waited through the weekend to call them to see what the problem was. Turns out, the receptionist who took my call wrote down the incorrect phone number, and as such, the technician in the field couldn't reach me. I took this in stride, no big deal, etc. We rescheduled for a later date.

That second date (5/22), again, another no-show. I called Maeser to see what was going on this time around. Again, the technician had tried reaching me at my cell phone, and as there was no answer, my appointment was not completed. No voicemails left. I confirmed with the receptionist taking my call this time around, Ricardo, that they had the correct number on file, which they did. I've had my cell phone on me with completely normal service this entire day, and I've received countless phone calls from other people today. So, either they never called me, or the field technicians still have my incorrect number.

Ricardo offered to reschedule again, but I was pretty livid at this point and declined. I cannot continue leaving work for the afternoon and have people no-show for appointments. I've been available on both dates with a fully functioning cell phone at the appointment times twice now, and I can't give them the benefit of the doubt a third time. Will be seeking service elsewhere.

Troy, the technician ( 99% sure that's his name ), came out to my home in a timely manner. Instead of trying to sell us things that we did not need, he educated us and thoroughly cleaned and service each of our systems. He also gave me some extremely helpful advice on rectifying a lack of cooling issue in my sons room. 10/10 would recommend Maeser and definitely would recommend the technician.

It required my writing an updated 1-star review, but after being offered a refund of my service charge, the business owner profile on the Yelp page being unreachable, another assigned business owner with a different name sending me a private message, and emailing them with my pertinent information, I finally did receive the refund I was offered.
There was a bit of run around, and it was frustrating, but eventually there was follow-through. So at least there is that.

They did spell my name wrong on the check they sent and I was just hoping that the deposit would go without a hiccup. And as of today, it was posted in my account.

Maeser services went above and beyond. They came in and gave us a free estimate for our bathroom request and was even willing to come back that day and fix the issue!

They ended up coming back today and completing the whole project within about an hour and a half. Our plumber, mark was friendly and quick in explaining everything that had been done.

What I love about Maeser is that they send information regarding the plumber that will be coming to your home so you know who to expect. They do background checks and find skilled technicians who are certified and worthy of doing a great job!

Tom Drexler quoted me a minimum of $4K to perform exploratory work. Eddie from Maeser was recommended by a family friend to provide a 2nd opinion. Eddie was professional, informative and through on the initial inspection and work. He was able to identify the issue and ended up being able to make the repairs for less than $300.

Wendell set up a consultation appointment for the
very next day.  Steve Flatt arrived on Friday and was very easy
to deal with and thoroughly explained the job. Roy delivered
the new hot water and when he did Steve already had the old
model ready to be removed.  By 5 pm that day I had a new
hot water heater. So very thankful as it was a holiday weekend
coming up. Don't hesitate to call Maeser.  If allowed ask

Well I've just had a disaster of a day dealing with this company. I booked them to come out to diagnose a leak in my toilet. The guys were here quickly. Unfortunately that is where it begins to devolve. I explained the problem and the guy wasn't paying attention so he didn't complete what I wanted done. He had to start over. Again this was quick and what I thought efficient. Well after paying 257.00 , which I thought was reasonable they left with a joke of if anything else is wrong you'll need a new toilet. Haha right? Wrong. After going in the bathroom about an hour later I noticed water behind the toilet, again. Another plumber from maeser comes out and notices a crack in my tank. Well for the second time in one day I was pushed toward a new Cadillac of a toilet called the cimmeron. I thought they would at least take the 257 off of a new toilet. They offered one fifty off. I said no. Next day I go get same toilet and myself and my husband installed it. Two hours later I'm good! Next time I'll call Dauenhauer or myself!

Horrible.  Called as sewage was coming in to my home.  2 men came on site about 2 hours later-said the issue was with the sewer drains and to call the city.  Said they would be right back out if needed.  City came out and said it was not their issue.  We called Maeser back 3 times and the plumbers never came back.  Terrible service.  Liars.

We purchased a house near the U of L for our child and some friends to live in next school year.  Unfortunately we have discovered multiple plumbing issues during our remodel.  I googled and searched yelp for this provider and felt the number of good reviews outweighed the bad.  

I was impressed with the same day service, courteousness of both the staff answering the phone and Jesse, our technician.  While we painted and cleaned he handled each and every problem with professionalism, explaining the issues and what was needed to resolve the problems.

I hope we don't need Maeser's service again, but if we do I will have no doubt to call them.

The morning after Christmas, we were greeted with a nasty sewer backup in our laundry room.  From the minute I reached out to Janet at 9:15 AM, I knew we were going to be okay.  She was so helpful and friendly and advised she would reach out to a service team ASAP.  Within 30 minutes, we had received a call that help was on the way!  Within 45 minutes from the initial call for help, we had a service team at our house.  Steve and Jesse were quick to assess the situation and jumped right into action.  They updated us along the way, as to what they were seeing and what next steps should be.  The diagnosed the problem, implemented a repair/fix and we were good to go!  Maeser is the epitome of professional every step of the way!

Sad to say, had to have Maeser back again. Another problem. Steve was the tech again this time and as before did good work. He looked at the problem, told us a price and at our okay, fixed the issue. Yeah it is a bit pricey but has to be done. They are honest and do honest work in my opinion.

This is a thank-you to Tom Jones, the Maeser technician who re-installed our water-heater after we'd had it removed to allow for installation of new flooring.  While he was reinstalling the water heater Mr. Jones noticed noticed a valve was leaking, and we were able to replace it on the spot, thereby ensuring that our new floor would not be damaged. Thank you Mr. Jones!

We've had these guys 4 times in 8 months for various issues in our new 30 yr old house. Disposal replacement faucet replacement hvac eval and water heater eval. Always courteous prompt and competent service completely done. Even though we needed a different company for the new water heater ( home warranty coverage) their work was on point and efficient. Wassim, from Maeser, came to fix our shower faucet - which had literally broken off.  He managed to replace the shower cylinder instead of replacing the entire valve, which would have involved cutting into drywall on the backside of the shower.  He is very personable and professional. He is also quite competent and performs work and repairs in an expeditious manner. We are happy to see him when he's assigned to our job and would recommend him to anyone that needs plumbing assistance.

They were great when I had a pipe burst at 2 am and it was flooding into my basement rooms. They lady that took my info was really kind and helpful! The tech that came out, Steve, was super communicative and explained everything he could do and then auggested what i would need to do next. I really appreciated their help and professionalism!

Yes they will come out quick, but they will charge a lot to do the job. No emergency fee so to speak but I feel it's built in to the charge. Second time we had them out they misdiagnosed a simple fix, which I was able to figure out on youtube. Just FYI, a loud vibrating exterior spigot is likely just a washer. Installed exterior spigot and did not secure to the brick so the whole thing moved and twisted when turning on/off. I'll be looking elsewhere unless I'm in a serious bind.

Called at 5 PM on Friday, they arrived at 3:30 on Saturday for a pinhole leak. The cost was $380, where competitors quoted $300. This was with a $50 coupon. They only quoted after arriving. They can tout experience but their pricing is excessive. The technician was pleasant and knowledgeable.

I can't say enough about how great their service was. My daughter and husband came home with a new baby and 2 days later the sewer and water lines backed up. Maeser was there immediately  and got her some service while they figured out what was wrong. They explained everything-what and why-every step of the way and got things fixed as fast as possible.

Update: Rick came to our house for our annual inspection. Very professional as always. I believe he started recently with Maeser (was here a month or so ago with another staff member when we had an issue).

Consistently impressed by Maeser's work and customer service. We noticed our AC unit wasn't working properly, called Maeser, and they sent someone out within less than an hour. John S was very polite, knowledgeable, and thorough in explaining what the issue was. He provided several options for what action I could take today. He was accompanied by a new team member, Rick, who was also very polite, knowledgeable and helpful in identifying the problem and resolving it. Five star service from both of these team members!

We have been Maeser customers for about a year; calling them for a second opinion on an issue we had last summer (at the recommendation of a family member). They were so much more polite, professional and honest than the other company we were dealing with through our home warranty. We recommend them any time we learn that a friend or family member is having an HVAC issue.

I called Maeser to repair a supply line valve to my washing machine that would not turn off.  Only 1 valve needed replacing, but Steve gave me a price on replacing both the hot and cold valves.  I was selling my home, and he said it would look better to replace both valves.  He quickly made the repairs, wrapped up the job, and got ready to leave.  I looked at the hot valve, and noticed it was seeping water.  I caught Steve as he was pulling out of the driveway, and asked him to come back in and check it out.  After installing the new hot water valve, the old fitting had developed a crack.  Steve fixed the issue at no extra charge.  I will definitely do business with Maeser again.

Maeser Master services seems to able to do it all.  AND, they do it efficiently, and well.  Noticing concern in my voice, the person I spoke to, by phone, I have used them before, I will use them again, and I will recommend them to all was able to route someone to my house and problem sooner that first estimated.  When the service tech arrived, after a brief conversation, he went straight to work.  He finished in one, I repeat, one hour.  I have used their services before, I will use them again, and I will recommend them to all who inquire.

dishonest and way overpriced.

i called to enquire about an estimate, and they wanted like $150 just to come out and take a look, so i told them to forget about it.

the next day, these guys show up anyway (wasting my time, disrespecting my wishes for them not to come) quoted me around $1500 for the work, and i told them (again), forget about it. (another plumber did the same work for a little over $300.) then they wanted me to pay for the quote. ha!

these guys will take you to the cleaners.

I could have done better with this company. I contracted them to install a new  AC Unit and they are still figuring out how to set it to work well after 38 days.   My house does not cool off and they have changed the new coil three times. My house is hot and I can't sleep at night. They need to learn how to fix the problem so far. They charged me 5,000 dollars for the service Sreling Boren was the one who sold the product of the company to me and after closing the transaction ignored my complaints about the bad service. I am very disappointed with this company, I don't know what is going to happen, and meanwhile, I am paying 5,000 dollars to this company and Home Depot.

I came home on a hot July Friday night to a loud vibration shaking my house and quickly realized it was my HVAC, and whatever it was...wasn't good. What was I going to do at the beginning of a weekend to get this fixed fast without spending a fortune??

I turned to Yelp early the next morning - as a new homeowner I didn't have any resources on hand and needed to find a trustworthy company to help me out. My fellow Yelpers steered me in the right direction ~ Maeser Master Services. I was impressed with the owner's credentials, I loved the fact that it was a local business, and thrilled when someone answered the phone on a Saturday before 10 AM and promised that a technician would see me on the same day, even though I'm a bit further out in Oldham County.

Although the tech was a bit late (the job before mine was more complex than they realized) I was kept in the loop the whole day by the customer service operator and my appointment was kept. My technician found a relatively inexpensive issue and showed me the problem (long story short - don't use cheap air filters in those things). Even though he could have easily made up some bigger more expensive problem and I wouldn't have ever known it, he charged for a small part and his trip fee. He was kind to my kids, professional, and efficient.

I would absolutely recommend Maeser to others for HVAC services - and with the positive experience that I had I would also call them for their other services.

We had a leak in our main water line and had to replace the line from the meter to our house.  Tyler R came to the house.  He professionally presented the diagnosis and the approach to the repair.  He presented two estimates (one if they could pull the new line, one estimate if they had to trench the yard for the repair.)  It rained the night before the scheduled repair and rain was predicted to continue.  Maeser contacted us to see if we wanted to re-schedule.  After a brief discussion, we decided to have them come out despite the wet conditions of the front yard.  Tyler and Matt arrived and quickly went to work.  They had to use the trencher and you would need to see our yard to believe what an amazing job Matt did in wet conditions!!  He trenched only what was required and back-filled and tamped with meticulous precision.  They only removed one shrub (which they re-planted).  Matt rough-graded and Tyler placed straw over the affected area.  They made sure everything in the house was working properly before they left and they were very respectful of our home when they had to come inside.
We have used Maeser Master Services for many years but never for a job of this size.  No one wants to hear the dreaded news that they have a leak in the main water line (we do not have the insurance policy for that)- but it is re-assuring to trust the people who are there to repair it.  No more leak and the yard looks a lot better than I ever expected.  Matt and Tyler went above and beyond with the service they provided!  Jamie B came back to our house after the inspection and removed all flags, inspection pipes, and filled in the inspection openings.  First class job, all the way around.

He stated today that there are no refunds and still defends your company although a very well known company found we didn't need a new furnace and there was nothing wrong with the heat exchange. I am going to contact BBB.

Mr. Edwards from Maeser contacted us concerning an inspection we performed of their recent install in a mobile home. We were met with an immediate and obvious condescending tone and attitude which was met with the same toned conversation from myself as Mr. Edwards should have never called our company in the first place and should have done his research on the report and gotten back to his employer (Home Depot) in an attempt to defend the install. The curse word I used to end the conversation, only one, was used when Mr. Edwards threatened violence, stating that if we were face to face this conversation wouldn't be going like this and the homeowner said she had had major issues with attitude and poor response also..
We were hired to evaluate a system installed by Maeser HVAC Co. in a mobile home that is not cooling sufficiently and never got below 74 degrees on a warm, not hot day, as when we arrived the inside temp was 74 degrees and outside temp was 74 degrees and the unit was running, upon entering we set the thermostat to 65 degrees and after 1 hour the temp inside was still at 74 degrees at the hallway thermostat, the owner said during very hot days it will not get to 74 degrees, the rear bedroom for the children was increasing already and was 76 degrees upon leaving, the outside temp was 84 degrees and it was still only 11 a.m.
They also: Installed an air handler not rated or approved for mobile home usage, did not install a condensate trap which is required on a draw through system and can be a safety and health hazard due to condensate water entering the air stream, they also installed the electrical without a clamp at the cabinet which can cause a safety hazard or shut down the system if the insulation is worn through due to vibration and the metal rubbing against the wires, which was installed directly against the metal. They did not secure any electrical or thermostat wire or protect them from potential damage, did not install line insulation fully causing the line to sweat and condensate is seeping from inside the cabinet onto the floor not to mention there is also air loss at the base of the cabinet. They did not cover a large hole in the ceiling allowing hot air to be drawn into the system reducing its efficiency and said that was the homeowners responsibility even though they were the ones that removed the old furnace, and they homeowner had no idea about it when I pointed it out. They installed a 2.5 ton cooling system and the home is only 845 square feet stating they performed a load calculation, which, if true, neglected the necessary questioning of the homeowner as to planned upgrades in the near future concerning insulation or windows etc, which was already planned and has been installed. This immediately voids any load calculation if it was performed. A 1.5 ton unit is typical. The condensate drain line was terminated beneath skirting of the unit rather than drilling a hole causing a large gap between the ground and metal, which allows animals to enter, and they just spent some time eliminating a possum problem from beneath recently, they also terminated the condensate in an unsafe manner on top of a sloped grade causing a large amount of ponding and surface condensate water which can cause a lung disease called Legionnaires to humans and animals. The worst part of all this is what they charged for the system could have likely paid for what the home actually needed, a mini split heat pump that operates almost twice as efficient as what they installed reducing the homeowners cost in the near future substantially, she is paying $185 per month to cool currently and has to turn it off because it runs all the time, so if she ran it as much as what it currently has the demand for she would be paying almost $400 per month to not cool her home and a min split would cool it for the $180 most likely with no problem. It is beyond me that a person would even think to call someone they have no business or client relation with, much less prior to investigating their install stating the Inspector was wrong before filing a BBB complaint which Mr. Edwards has already done. Worse yet, a pic of all issues was included in the report given to the Home Depot which they then forwarded to Maeser. He then stated he wanted to file the complaint to let the public know how he operates obviously forgetting about Maesers many 1-star reviews and complaints and my 26 year A+ 5-star review history on the BBB and never even one complaint. Even if you Google all of my reviews in 26 years there are no poor ratings from any client, only Realtors, and trust me, that's a good thing!

I had them replace a valve under my sink, the charge was 153.00. While the technician was down there I said how much would the other valve close.  He said another 153.00.  They charge by the type of repair not by the hour or time.  Buyer beware. It was a 3 dollar part and he was already under the sink!  Give me a break!

We were five star monthly members with Maeser for several years.  We canceled recently after a terrible experience with the company.  John Day with Maeser along with another gentleman came to do our 6 month Heating/Air inspection and when they were finished he went through a list of things he noticed including telling me that the last guy who came six months ago didn't put all the screws back in our unit upstairs.  He went through everything and told us the outdoor coils on both units very extremely dirty and covered in hair as well as the heat pump and needed to be cleaned.  He said it would cost $106 for each unit, so $212 for both.  I told him that we had a lot of expenses currently but we would do the worst one right now as he made it seem like it was a huge concern.  Before they do anything we had to pay the $106, after paying my wife and I noticed John and the other guy go outside plug a water hose into our faucet and John simply sprays the outside of the unit with a water hose for 5 minutes and then he does the other one for 5 minutes, 10 minutes labor to spray a water hose while the other guy stood and watched.  When hearing they would clean the unit we thought that they would actually clean the unit as we have a water hose right by the unit which we could have sprayed it down ourselves.  As I can imagine no one would ever pay $106 for someone to a spray water hose for 5 minutes per unit.  So, they are charging $106 to spray a unit with a water hose for 5 minutes nothing else, no actual cleaning.  After the ten minutes of spraying a water hose, John has the nerve to come in and say it's still not totally clean but better than it was.  I felt I had just be conned, so I proceeded to call Maeser thinking this was a mistake no way they charge $106 to a priority member to spray a unit with a water hose for 5 minutes. I called once and dispatch never called me, so I called again and no one called and the third time I spoke with someone and told him what happened and what I was charged to which he replied, wow. The third guy I spoke with emailed customer service to give me a call.  After over a day someone finally called me back and I told him we were members and the experience I had and what I was charged, he did nothing but just said that's what we charge for that service and the price was fair and justified.  I was shocked and immediately called back to cancel my membership.  After I did this I received a call from Scott Bowles who said they'd refund the $106 and then he said we'd agree to do business with other people.  I never once received an apology for the experience and being in customer relations myself, I can honestly say this is one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever received.

I had Maeser do a lot of plumbing issues I had.
The kitchen drain needed to be replaced. Powered Room, needed drain repaired.
Needed a new commode in the full bath. And a new water heater.
Very pleased with the work. They came on time and completed the work when they said they would.

Extremely disappointed with what I thought was a reputable company. I paid $164 to get a diagnosis and an estimate of $1,322 to repair my A/C. The service tech quoted me $865 for 3 pounds of refrigerant and some $350 for two capacitors. You can buy the capacitor online for $15 and refrigerant is $100 per pound.
He did a poor job of explaining the problem, then admitted he made some assumptions about the repairs, which really means he was guessing. If you are quoting $1,300 for a routine repair, then there should be no guessing.
I called another company and they repaired the unit for $268 which included the service call, labor, capacitor and one pound of refrigerant.
I feel like Maeser was trying to pull a fast one on a hot and humid day. I can't see calling them again.

We've hired Maeser twice for two unexpected water issues - but isn't this the case for most plumbing needs? The first visit happened when my husband broke the porcelain toilet while changing the seat. So much for a cheap upgrade! He called a couple of plumbers and Maeser said someone could come right away with a toilet. Not an ideal scenario but my husband was terrified if the toilet broke beyond the crack we'd have a small flood. The service technicians were quick and didn't leave any mess behind.

Our recent visit happened this week. A bubble in the kitchen ceiling paint brought attention to a leak from the upstairs bathroom. The drywall was cracked along the seam. Our appointment time was scheduled between 10a - noon, which is the period the service technicians arrived. The team very thoroughly checked the fixtures, not only in the upstairs bathroom but the master bathroom next to it. After checking a handful of areas we were left with the conclusion we'd have to cut a hole in the kitchen ceiling to reveal the pipes.

After cutting away the drywall we could see it was very wet but our pipes were dry! It had the service technicians stumped. I was thankful my husband was staying with them to ensure they kept looking. It led the service technicians to uncover a small gap between the bathroom tile and closet doorway, which sits next to the bathtub. Very, very small. When water was poured into the gap it poured into the kitchen downstairs!

While I'm happy the fix wasn't replacing pipes or another experience alternative I can't believe a gap in caulk led to wet drywall and a hole in my ceiling. Our tub and edges are now fixed and we added a tub splash guard as recommended by the service technicians.

Again, another job well job. Responsive, friendly and helpful service, cleaned up the area well and answered my husband's questions. Maeser does charge a diagnostic fee that can be applied toward the service. It's better than most (we've not found a plumber with free estimates). We will call them again for future plumbing needs.

58-Day Heat and Air Nightmare Installation

On May 17, 2023, Maeser Services in Louisville, KY came to our home to bid on installing a new heat and air system. The estimator determined that a 3-ton unit would be more than adequate for our home.  During his 20-minute visit, I asked him three times if was he sure a 3-ton would do the job. Each time he assured me it would be more than efficient. The bid was for an air handler with variable speed indoor heat pump and a plenum, with a one-day installation.
May 22:  Maeser came to install the new unit. They took all day, but they didn't get the unit installed, so there was no air in our home. They left after 5:30 and didn't say when they would return.
May 23: I called to see what time they would be coming. The scheduler said they were to come out all day to finish the job. I waited until after 10 AM and called again to see where they were. Another scheduler said they weren't coming today. I told her they had to come now to finish the job, because it was going to be in the high 80s, and we needed a working air unit to stay in our home. They finally showed up and finished the installation.
That weekend the temperature reached over 90 degrees and the new unit was holding at 78 degrees and would go no lower. At that time, I knew the unit was undersized. I also saw where the installers burned our carpet and two walls with a blowtorch.  (Pictures below)
June 2: The installation manager came out to inspect the damage and the undersized unit. He said we had a two-fan speed unit. We had paid for a variable-speed indoor heat pump. They had installed a lesser unit.
July 5: After 33 days, Maeser finally came back to install the correct-sized unit. Before they started, they wanted me to sign a paper saying they were not responsible for any damages incurred during the installation of the equipment. In other words, while they are using their blowtorch, which they had already burned our carpet and 2 walls, they wouldn't be liable if they burned our house down.  I refused to sign the paper.  They finally consented and started the installation of the second unit. They got most of the work done, but then informed me I had to pay for the plenum, a key piece of equipment that joins the new unit to the existing ductwork. The estimator said, from day one, that the new plenum was included in the bid. I refused to pay because it was already paid for. At that point, the installers walled off the job. So, for the next 14 days, we had to leave our home because we had no air conditioning during the heat of summer. During that time, I fabricated our existing plenum in order to for them to come back to finish the installation.  What homeowner has to do that?
July 19: Since I now had a plenum, Maeser agreed to come and again they said I had to sign their paper saying they were not responsible for any damages done during the installation process. I again refused. After a few phone calls, they finally installed the correct unit after 58 days to do a one-day installation.
July 20: However, the next day the installers had to come back because the unit was leaking water on our wood floor.  They determined that they had not used glue to hold the drainpipe together.

*The installers were not licensed, unprofessional, used the f-word several times, and never apologized for all the delays, mistakes, and damage they caused to the home. For a total of 15 days, we were unable to stay in our home due to the exterior high temperatures, because our new air system was not installed.

My gas hot water heater went out on a Saturday afternoon and I called Maeser plumbing. They came out the same day and replaced the water heater. They answered their phone and had a technician contact me immediately. The technician kept me posted on when he was going to arrive and was very professional. He explained everything clearly as to what he was doing and answered all of my questions. He even cleaned up the area he was working in before he left my house. I was extremely please with this company in their response time and knowledge. I would highly recommend this company to others and will use this company in the future for my plumbing needs.

As I entered my home from a very busy day, I smelled a horrible smell throughout the house. The waste ejector in the basement had stopped working! I immediately called Maeser Master Service. Robert & companion responded to our crisis in a short period of time. We could have had sewage all over our finished basement if they had not responded so quickly!  And they replaced our master bathtub hardware when they were finished in the basement.
Great service!!

Maser installed a furnace and HVAC system in my house. A little over a year later, the brand new heat pump has a failed TXV. I've been told this is usually because the installer uses the old refrigerant line and does not clean the line properly.

Maser sent a tech to check on the problem and told me the unit I was sold is a piece of crap. Then said I probably need another one...after only a year of service. They were supposed to be in contact with me to schedule a repair, but they never called.

The tech also told me they have been instructed to up-sell services lately, so beware. They've got to pay for all of those primetime commercials somehow.

We were so happy to find a plumbing company whose staff is both competent and personable.  We have had work done recently on two houses and also referred them to a family member for work there.  Everything went smoothly from the phone conversations to the completed jobs.   The office staff is friendly and helpful and the technicians were thorough and informative.  The prices were reasonable and we have already agreed to their maintenance contract for our HVAC and plumbing which is priced less than we were paying for HVAC alone.  It's all good!

I called on Saturday when water was backing up from the basement drain. They let me know that there is not an additional fee for working on Saturday and no service fee. The plumber, Addison, got to my home in less than an hour, quickly diagnosed the problem, gave me a reasonable price, and got to work. He explained what had happened, what he had done to take care of it, and how to keep it from happening again going forward. Very professional and knowledgeable.

Lee did a great job identifying where my leak originated which took about 20-30 minutes. His professionalism and dedication to helping get this issue addressed was all you would ask for from a seasoned plumber. Once the leak was identified it took only minutes to fix it. I'd certainly recommend Lee and/or Maeser for your plumbing problems.

5 stars are not enough; I'd give Maeser's 6 stars if I could!!! The entire experience, from start to finish, exceeded all/any of my expectations. Corey was very professional, timely, knowledgeable, and helpful--highly recommend (and will be asking for him again!). As for my HVAC issue, I had had a problem with it a few years ago, however, due to lack of knowledge and expertise, that tech misdiagnosed the source of the problem (a clogged line). In short, this tech's inadequacy cost me close to $7k in repairs(flooring, walls, etc). So fast forward 2 years later, and on a Sun afternoon of all times(!), and the problem started occurring again. I didn't know who to call or what to do!? I panicked, concerned for being a female without much HVAC (or any kind of handiwork) knowledge and having had a horrific prior experience with another company... and I was also very concern because as a result of the past, I knew this was a problem that needed quick, immediate attention, unless I wanted to shell out several thousands in repairs again. So, I turned to reviews and ratings, which is why I am writing one today, in hopes of helping someone else; it guided me in choosing Maeser. I couldn't have chose a better company or ended up with a more knowledgeable, kinder tech. I was impressed by their fair-prices(I even signed up for their 5-Star Club!); QUICK EMERGENCY SERVICES turnaround time(from the time I placed the call, it took the tech maybe 2 hours and on a SUNDAY, too!!! WOWWW!); problem was resolved easily and rapidly; plus, I had a few questions unrelated to the one being serviced and got helpful advice/feedback from Corey that will def help me in the future.... so, hooray for the excellent staffing (receptionist and tech, both!). We had a sewer mainline block. We ended up getting the outside ground dug-up and part of the mainline drain replaced.
They are a bit pricey, but the technicians explained everything and were ready to answer questions.
Very quick service. Technicians were knowledgeable and quick.
Very professional experience. Would definitely recommend to others.
But, they are expensive. I guess quality comes at a price.

Joe came out in a pinch, when my tenants furnace stopped working in the dead of winter. He made it out at 9 PM, and was so friendly and easy to work with. He got it working with a temporary fix and replaced the motor as soon as possible, I'm really happy with the service and I'll most definitely use them again.

Called in late in the afternoon about a leak under my sink and Jesse came out after 5 and not only took care of that issue but fixed 2 more issues that were on my to do list! He was very professional, friendly and extremely helpful! I told him if he had others waiting on him that I could get the two that I didn't mention on the call done later but he said he was just on his way home and really didn't mind. True professionals! They will be who I call for my next plumbing issue ( hopefully not so soon though :)  )
