Best Air Duct Cleaning in Las Vegas NV

Nevada Residential Services Air Conditioning & Heating Plumbing Service
I chose this company to come take a look at my broken heater because of all the great reviews I read. Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience. Kevin came out on a service call and looked at my furnace. I expected that the unit needed to be replaced because it is the original unit that was put in when the house was built in 1996. Kevin explained what was going on and what needed to be done to either fix or replace the unit. Since I paid for the service call, I expected to receive a receipt with an explanation of the issue and a quote for repairs and/or replacement. This way I would be able to think over this large purchase and/or compare quotes. Kevin insisted I couldn't get a quote or pricing info until I provided him some information. Turns out the info I gave him was to open up a credit card to finance the job. Not one time did he mention credit card or credit card application. I intended to pay cash for the job and never gave him permission to open a credit card in my name. I feel like I got tricked. Now I am dealing with Wells Fargo fraud department to get the credit card closed and removed from my credit report.

When I got a text from the scheduling associate asking to schedule the install, I expressed my frustration with what happened and I was contacted by the owner. He did his best to try to make it right, but at this point the damage had already been done and I had already taken my business elsewhere. I do appreciate the follow up, but overall, I had an unpleasant experience that I now have to spend my time and effort to fix (with my credit report).

Called this place on 2-12-2019 at 3PM to get a quote for some work done. The gentlemen I spoke to said it was not a problem and he would have a tech call me to schedule. As of 2-14-2019, 9am, no call. I called back. The young lady I spoke to apologized and said she would have a tech call me to schedule. It is now 2-15-2019, 2pm, and still no call. I give up. Guess they don't need my business! Waste of time!

We needed two washer/dryer units set up. They sent out a technician for a $59 service charge, waived if we have work done. We had already bought the fittings for the install. The technician arrived an hour after their 2 hour arrival window and said the fee would be $300. He said the company charges a minimum of $159 per washer/dryer unit for hook ups but he would do $300. When I said no, he asked me what I wanted to pay? I told him not $300. Now we're out $59 and still need somebody to hookup our units. So much for good service or fair pricing. Late and they charge $300? I would have been a repeat customer if they had been reasonable.

Once again, excellent service! Bryant did a maintenance check up on my furnace and was very polite and professional. It's so important to maintain these units to prolong their life. I wouldn't trust any other company to take care of these things.

5 Star Home Services Plumbing Service
Not dependable. The phone receptionist had poor customer service and tech was late coming to house.  The home warranty didn't cover repair but tech was quick to tell me and said he could fix it for a price.  Rather goto a different company.   Surely not a 5 star company for customer service

Nationwide Plumbing Plumbing Service
Rick from Nationwide plumbing saved me a ton of money!A rival company with a pretty well known name sent a tech out to inspect our furnace. The tech stated my heat exchanger was cracked and that it must be replaced. Not knowing much about how a furnace really operates I took his word for it and requested information about a replacement.Well long story short the tech tried to convince me I needed both a new furnace AND an air conditioner!Offering me a specialof $ 10,000.I then contacted Nationwide plumbing looking for a second opinion and Rick came out did a thorough inspection and lo and behold the tech from the first company never even looked at it he just attempted to con me out of my money! My heat exchanger and the furnace is just fine.I want to thank Rick and Nationwide for their honesty and I look forward  to doing business with you in the future!

If you think handy men are supposed to solve problems, you might be wrong. They will create a bigger project for themselves to make money from you if the problems in your home are small and easy to be fixed.
Don't work with dishonest people!

Rebel Refrigeration Plumbing Service
The compressor in our outside refrigerator broke.  It also happens to be a commercial refrigerator so of course finding somebody to fix it and finding somebody that would have the part was difficult.  I contacted Rebel and they were able to get somebody to the house quickly.  Dan was AWESOME!  He was able to look and see if the part was under warranty (which it was YEAH!) and order it.  I worked with Chris in the office to get the work order processed, the part ordered, and everything paid.  The process was EASY!  He was able to locate the part locally and Dan was out within a few days to fix the fridge!  After a few days, they even sent Dan back just to double check that everything was in working condition.  Great company, friendly and professional staff, we will be using them from now on!

Alaskan Plumbing Heating & Air Plumbing Service
Here we go with A/C issues in the middle of extreme heat...ouch! Alaskan was fantastic to work with, almost immediate once they were alerted of my problem...within hours fast friendly, honest and courteous service throughout the not so fun experience. Tony was thorough and complete with all testing, repairs and refrigerant recharging. It was a pleasure to work with them knowing we would be able to sleep tonight in reliable working a/c units. Thanks Tony and Alaskan Heating & Air.

Rakeman Plumbing and Rakeman Air Plumbing Service
Background of the plumbing issue:
My hope is to help others who may have the same problem we had. Our house is in Henderson, NV where at one point, the homeowners were notified they might have to repipe due to issues with Kitec pipes.  My husband and I who are firm believers in don't fix it if ain't broke philosophy stayed our ground until this year when a slab leak happened. We then decided to have the repipe done.

How we researched contractors for the job:
We spent a lot of time researching via the internet. We live in California so it is difficult to find local people in Henderson, Nevada. The best link we came across was from Total Solutions which listed the Primary contractors and others for the Kitec Litigation Program in Nevada. See link below:

kitec.totalclasssolution…

It was a big surprise to learn that after we made phone calls, a lot of the companies listed were either inactive, bankrupt or moved somewhere else. Reason could have been that the Kitec buzz was some years ago... I guess we are late bloomers!

From the Primary List, we picked one of them, our first candidate. Then we searched the City of Henderson's permit section to find out the latest permits issued and to see if we can spot Kitec repipes that were recently done. We found at least three homes, one of whom has just been sold. Upon further research, we found the repipe company who did the work.  This company was our second candidate.  Then we went to search in Yelp, for the third candidate. You hear a lot of stories about made up reviews, but if you are careful, you can spot the scammers. From Yelp, we found the third candidate.

Next step is to google everything about the candidates, read up on all the reviews, check licenses, Better Business Bureau complaints etc. The three were invited to do the estimates, emailed them questions afterwards as to their services and products they will be using. It is important to make everything in writing compared to verbal/phone calls. Then we researched the products to be used, called the manufacturer for details, who then emailed us the answers. It was very tempting to make your decision on who to pick based on the price/estimates presented.  All three of them appear to be decent contractors and competent. If you can afford it, don't let the price stop you from choosing a quality company. We are glad we did, in Rakeman!

Rakeman Plumbing:
Decision was made based on who can help us the best, now and in the future, based on experience, knowledge, history and name recognition. We choose Rakeman Plumbing out of the three. It was a wise decision we later found out.  Not only are they accommodating, they employ very good people. That's their secret for longevity I think. Rocky Berger knew his stuff, he explained the Kitec Repipe process like no other. After we received an estimate and informed him his company got the job, we asked for a copy of the contract for us to review. Reading the exceptions in the contract was scary at first but once he explained them, we realized they have to cover themselves too.  A day before the job was started, we wrote the company a check for half of the cost of the repipe.

The repipe process:
First day, started early at 730 am.Garage was open the whole time they were working. We stationed someone at the garage area to secure the house from strangers not connected to the job .Appliances were moved, dishwasher to the garage and refrigerator out of the way. A couple of workers did the plastic protection for all affected work areas. Water was turned off, drywall was cut for specific areas and repiping started soon after that. At around 5 pm, amazingly, water was restored! Adan and his crew, made that all possible.

Next day, city inspector showed up, did his job and educated us on some points about the job being done. In the afternoon, the drywall was put back and paint was applied in affected areas, garage and inside the house. Miguel and Lola did a beautiful job on the color match for the paint! Next day, the dishwasher, refrigerator, garage sink and water softener unit were put back in place. We opted to have a new Pressure regulator and that was also installed.

Post repipe phone calls with Rakeman:
After the final check was issued, it is of course normal for a homeowner to worry if the contractor will even receive your call or text you back afterwards! With Rakeman, it's different. When something minor needed to be done, his men came back, the same way they started before: respectful, competent and nice. Thank you, Rocky and thank you to all the workers at Rakeman who made this a great experience!

Tip:
Respect goes both ways, when you deal with workers, treat them with respect, be nice and try to always ask for their first names. This way they will treat you and your house with respect. Make them comfortable and make them feel they are fixing their own house. You will get a lot out of it.

Goettl Air Conditioning and Plumbing Plumbing Service
I needed an air conditioning unit installed in my garage.
Goettl subbed the job to an independent contractor .
The installer left holes in the wall and ugly exposed lines on the outside of my house. They promised to return within 5 business days to patch the walls and install a cover on the outside of house to conceal the ugly exposed copper tubing, pvc pipes and electrical lines.
It has been 2 months now and I have not heard back from Goettl after placing several phone calls to them.
I have received warnings from my HOA and about to be fined because the exposed lines are very visible from the street.
Giettl was very communicative when it was time to collect the pre payment for the job but have ignored my calls and voicemails regarding the work they promised would be completed within 5 business days after installation.
At this point I will probably need to hire a handyman to do the work. I will not be using Goettl going forward for my HVAC needs.

Air Pro Master Plumbing Service
These guys were sent out because they have a contract with my warranty company. Even though they were told I needed a new water heater, they still sent someone to look at the job. Which was a waste of my day. This was on a Friday and they didn't come out to do the install until the following Monday! They sent a 2 technicians to do the install and it was done in a short time. The BIG thing I'm complaining about is: The Department of Development Services charged them $56.57 for the permit. They charged me $185.00 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I called them on it, I was told that rest was administrative costs!! $128.43 for paperwork!!!!!!!!
Don't let these con men in your house!!!
