The fan on my A/C unit was not spinning, and the temperature in my home was rising.
I called the company at 9am, they answered quickly and gave me a window between 10am and 1pm. They called me back within 30 minutes and said they would be arriving in 20!
Showed up, very nice, very respectful and knowledgeable! Explained the issue (the capacitor) and explained how they were going to fix it.
In and out in 30 minutes - couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Called this place on 2-12-2019 at 3PM to get a quote for some work done. The gentlemen I spoke to said it was not a problem and he would have a tech call me to schedule. As of 2-14-2019, 9am, no call. I called back. The young lady I spoke to apologized and said she would have a tech call me to schedule. It is now 2-15-2019, 2pm, and still no call. I give up. Guess they don't need my business! Waste of time!

Derek and Rene showed up when they were scheduled and were very patient with my wife and I, taking time to explain the data they collected and any concerns they had. We agreed to join the annual service program. Time will tell if this is a good investment, but it was HALF of what we were paying to another firm that let us down.

Not sure if this is unusual but I had a terrible experience with Snap plumbing. Last week when my toilet broke they told me they had limited techs working and schedule for today, Tues. 13th. I waited all day, at 5 pm I called and was told the tech was on the other side of town but coming. At 6:30 pm I called again and the woman said the plumber said he came and was turned away. TOTAL LIE. No tech showed up. Didn't call. Just lying. Very sad since other reviews said they are good.

Just bought a house a month a go and my AC went out. I was referred by my home warranty providers to call 5 star home service which I was a little skeptical about. So my apt. Time was between the hours of 3:00pm-6:00pm and the man comes about 4:00pm and calls before to confirm that I was home, already impressed!! When he got to my house he is was very professional and clean cut he introduced himself and took a look at the problem, he look at my unit for a good hour trying to weigh out repairs and replacement cost, he called my home warranty providers and explained that it would be better to replace the unit verses repairing and in the long run everyone would save money. My home warranty is picking up the majority of the replacement cost all because of the 5 star technician experience and excellent expertise and with very minimal out of pocket expense to me. I still haven't gotten my AC unit in yet but so far impressed with my experience with this company. I got service on the same day and did I mention it was Saturday! I will keep u all posted once my AC unit is installed should be Monday or Tuesday. Crossing my fingers...

I really wish I would of looked at the comments before I had Hawthorne come to my house. I never would of never called them. Kyle was the service man. Very nice and pleasant young man. However he totally misdiagnosis what was wrong with my ac. He gave me an estimate from 2, 785 which was only a temporary fix not under warranty. He had stated we needed a new flex duct. Plus sealing of all the orher ducts connections. The other option were from 8 thous to 10 thous. Under warranty. .. replace ac unit.. . When my husband got back in town I told him what he said.. My husband frustrated decided to go under the house. We were confused. How could we need a new ac. Because it was blowing ice cold. It just had a flow problem. What my husband found really upset me. We didn't need a new flex duct.. it wasn't connected. . After my husband connected it boy was my air cold.
The ac is fixed. I can't believe it..please beware, or cautious.. we saved 10 thousand. .

Talk about awesome service!!! My A/C went out yesterday, and these guys came out last night and fixed it in a jiffy! They even fixed a setting on my water pipe/valve that kept making a banging noise for no extra cost! These guys were very professional and fairly priced. I'll surely be calling them for all of my home ownership woes.

My kitchen faucet was leaking. I reviewed Plumbing Services on Yelp. The reviews for Number One Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning were very good. I noticed that several reviews mentioned Roy and his exceptional service. I called Ashley, and set up an appointment, and requested Roy. The morning of my appointment, Roy called to let me know he was on his way. He arrived on time, and was able to repair my faucet in a timely manner. I am very happy with the service I received from Roy. I will use Number One Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning in the future and recommend them to friends and family. The entire experience was a pleasant one. Thanks Ashley for your assistance in setting up the appointment and thank you Roy for your professionalism and great service.

I bought a house and during the walk thru the ac units were working. When I moved in the units decided to stop working at night. I contacted Joe and he immediately sent out a tech. The tech was extremely professional and fixed the issue so my family would be able to sleep.
I also have multiple rental properties and I rely on Rebel to service and maintain all the units.

I would like to start with they are lifesavers!! After getting home with my 10 month old baby in the middle of summer to a hot house I called around for someone to come on such short notice and it seemed nobody was available, until I reached Alaskan , they helped us instantly and sent over Robert who was absolutely awesome. He provided us all the answers and told us the issues and the resolutions. He got our a/c all set and we were good. He was very courteous, knowledgable and most of all he was professional and we highly recommend Alaskan but mainly Robert Lol.

Ryan came for the initial consult and did an awesome job making me feel like the company really desired my business. He was super personable and put me at ease. He got his boss to match the lowest quote that I had already received and got my job booked for the next day.
Bill did the installation (took about 5-6 hours in the LV heat) and ensured everything was working. He walked me through the changes made and maintenance that is required and made sure that I understood everything I needed to know about my new tank less. They had replaced a leaking water heater from 1991 and even cleaned up the area around the water heater in my backyard that had started to look a little like a swamp.
Ryan kept in contact with my via text to make sure I was satisfied with my new tank and to see if I had any questions at all about the equipment, service, or billing. This has been an entirely painless experience and I would happily work with this company again and likely will when I save up to install my water softener next year.

While we were gone for the holidays, our hot water conked out. Our neighbor saw the water running out from the garage. Fortunately, Rakeman Plumbing sent a crew out that very day and replaced our hot water heater by that afternoon. The installation work was very professional. The work area was completely clean when we returned.

So strange - I had the opposite experience of the previous negative reviewer. Active Plumbing was way, way less expensive than our old plumber for a water heater. Way less! The service was great and prompt and saving over $700 was a huge $$$ help. I would recommend them to family and friends. Weird how our experiences are so different. Ask for Eddie - He is the owner and he is the one who helped me.

USE ANYONE ELSE!!! I do not recommend Goettl for your AC needs!!! The salesman did a great job of convincing my husband that they were better at service and a more reliable company than our old AC company. Based on that meeting, we spent $13k on a brand new unit. We've had issues with the filter and now the actual cooling. We keep our AC set on 77 during the summer days. I came home today and it was 83 degrees in my house (and quickly went to 85). Pardon me, but I expect a BRAND NEW AC to keep the temperature I set. Their service is so great that I have to wait 24 hours before I can get a technician?!?!?PLEASE GET LOTS OF QUOTES AND CHECK REVIEWS BEFORE YOU COMMIT!!

Would be ZERO STARS IF THIS WOULD ALLOW! SCAM ARTISTS DO NOT USE!! I had Air squad come out to my house through a warranty company at least 3 times... every time they came out I was given the same story.., Oh we replaced the part.. it's blowing great as they pointed that little gun up at the vent and fed me more bs... And then in a few days the same problem blowing warm... this happened multiple times! Because it was through a warranty company I had no choice on who responded to the call. One of the techs didn't didn't know how to fix the issue after multiple attempts and even had to call another person to help. So multiple charges.. the last time I'm November I was told I had a leak and that I had to pay $810 out of pocket even with the warranty company covering the $4000+ job. Now, I turn on the central air for the 1st time and surprise surprise... it's blowing hot air not cool! Look inside the breaker box and the circuit was turned off!!! So why they turned it off is beyond me! I call the company and am told by the owner ARMOND since you no longer have the warranty the company only covers repairs for 30 days.. I tell him repairs from any reputable company normally carry a one year guarantee... again I am told they won't cover anything if you had paid out of pocket then it would be covered for a year but you only paid a small portion of the cost. Owner also said if you want a nee unit I'll do it for $4000 cash in pocket... so I guess they prefer to rip people off u til they break down and give them TAX FREE BUSINESS. Now he refuses to answer my calls and I can tell ANYONE ESPECIALLY WOMEN DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A RIP OFF AND SCAM ARTISTS AND DON'T STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK! You couldn't fix a simple leak on a minimum of THREE VISITS AND YOU THINK ID PAY YOU TO REPLACE THE UNIT OR TO DO A 2 DAY PRESSURE TEST FOR $2000 but I'll charge you $800 for the test and another $3000 cash paid to me!! SHADY BUSINESS PEOPLE DO NOT USE THEM!

Nope. Warranty work ruined by a tech pushing an acid wash. Hmmm, where have I heard this line of crap before?
Tech calls 2 hours before the scheduled appointment time, says he'll be there in a half hour. I have to scramble to get someone to be home with the warranty fee. He arrives on site, immediately pushes an acid wash for the unit. Notices that the line is freezing over and asks for access to the attic. He checks the first crawl space and determines that the condenser and blower in question are in the other crawl space.
Sees a table underneath the other crawl space access, decides he doesn't want to wait 5 minutes for the table to get moved and that he has to come back the next day.
I call to get another tech, get told he's the only tech available. I explain it's not the first time a tech has tried to push a $400 acid wash on me this year, and she gets defensive and tells me we've never been to your house before. Yeah, that's not addressing the behavioral issue your tech exhibited. It's not the same tech. It's not the same company. It's the SAME MORONIC UPSELLING BEHAVIOR.
Teach your techs to be professional. To correctly diagnose and repair issues instead of digging their heels in and insisting on the upsell. That just immediately shows how untrained and ignorant they are.
It's not the coil. It's a 15-year-old unit that had to be recharged in August, and the coils were recently checked. So quit insisting on having to clean the coils before you can start work. It's like you've been trained to parrot that as soon as you get to the house.
I'm reporting these jerks to the Better Business Bureau. And our A/C is still down.
