had used these guys before for our air conditioner and everything went well. So I thought we would try again to have a dishwasher installed.  unfortunately, never got the chance.  I called to see how much it would cost and the woman who answered said she couldn't tell me the cost and that a tech would call in 15 minutes.  

45 Minutes later no call so I called back and asked again. She said she would have them call to follow up.  They never did.  Guess they don't need the business : (

Excellent customer service! !  I didn't call anyone else because April was so nice and professional on the phone. She really cared about my problem and arranged an appt  the very next morning   No heat- which was critical.  Rafael came out bright and early the next morn and was so knowledgeable and nice and showed me exactly what the problem was and my options, and suggestions for the future   He was so nice.  
I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who needs any of their services

This was my nightmare home repair experience.  Everything I asked about was a $200 issue, including a toilet flapper replacement.  I ended up buying the $10 flapper myself and putting it in in about 5 minutes. I think the man who came thought I was someone who would just fearfully tell him to do $1000 in repairs.  These are like the car repair crooks you always hear about. I wasted $35 on the coupon but it would have been much worse if I had let that guy touch anything in my house.

Our technician called to advise that he was arriving earlier than scheduled, but it actually happened to work out better for both of our schedules in the long run. It was my first attempt at cooking a new recipe with rutabaga. Turns out that rutabaga peels will actually clog your disposal, apparently I didn't get the memo!  Carmine came to the rescue and took care of the issue in less than an hour.  He was super honest as he could have over charged us for an unnecessary snaking.  The experience was totally painless, fast and friendly!  Carmine is also funny and had some great stories...we were amused!  I would definitely recommend Number One Plumbing to my fellow Yelpers.  You also get a 10% discount if you mention you found them on Yelp.  If you have an issue with your plumbing definitely ask for Carmine he's our boy!

Number one in skills, knowledge, honesty, and friendliness. Among all the companies sent by my warranty company, Roy (plumbing) & and Donovan (A/C & heater) were the only technicians who were able to detect the source of the problem and got a solution right away. Very easy to reach, when need. The manager, jessica, was great at communicating and returning back calls as well. They really did take care of my problem.

Called Tuesday afternoon George was onsite Wednesday @ 8am toilet replaced by 9:30am.  Clean, fast & professional throughout entire process.  BTW - if you have a Costco card (& a mask) they have a GR8 1 piece toilet for $150.

I was having issues with my ac//only air blowing and outside unit not kicking on. After looking around I decided to contact Number One because of good reviews. Setting up appointment was easy enough and was able to set it for following day with time frame that suited my schedule. My technician was Ryan and he arrived on time and  was able to show me that something had fallen in (I believe branch?) and caught fan blade which caused it to break. With me trying to run ac with broken blade I managed to burn out the motor, as well, so was told I needed a new blade and a new motor with the total coming to $964. I was ready for some cool air and was worried about possibility of having to replace the full unit, so thought I might as well go ahead and fix it. Ryan was able to give me a discount since I found them online and my final total came to $867(1/3hp condenser fan motor and 22in 3blade 27pitch fan blade).

Ryan needed to get the replacement parts so scheduled for him to come out the next day and finish up; no issue since weather was starting to cool and I was starting to get used to my warm place. Following day, Ryan arrived on time and got right to work and was able to install the blade and motor. I figured that was all that was needed to get my ac back to cooling. However, after the install Ryan advised me that I was low on freon and likely had a leak. He said he couldn't see this ahead since it needed to be up and running to check levels.  The options presented were:

A. )Do Bidon Leak Stop Kit for $235 with no guarantee  that issue would be resolved//ac would cool

B.)Do Full Bidon Leak Stop test & repair for $600 which would include 1yr parts and labor warranty and a guarantee for ac

C.)Go ahead and fill up freon and hope for the best at $88/LB for R-22 freon with my unit needing 4.5lbs

Now please understand the first two options(the kit and test) do NOT include the cost of the freon. My unit requires the R-22 and I knew to expect to pay more....but the quote I was given was at $88/lb for the R-22 freon alone($88*4.5=$396 just for freon). So of the three options the one that made the most sense was obviously the $600 Full Bidon Leak Test and Repair; I'm not one to take chances and throw good money after bad. However, I couldn't bring myself to jump on an additional $1K cost without a second opinion and at this point was mentally kicking myself since I'd nearly burned myself out of a new unit looking at the repair costs.

So I left it at that. Ryan was kind enough to write me out an official estimate for the remaining work and I spent the warm night looking around online for my second opinion. At this point, my rating for Number One is sitting at 4 stars, with the final star being removed because I wasn't in a good mood, pricing seemed high, and I can't give 4.5 stars on yelp lol. I had no issue with the technician, customer service, or company.

Why am I giving 2 stars then?

Well, I was able to get my second opinion from another company- Rebel Refrigeration. Wish I could say I chose them because of some great reviews or promotion, but truth is I gave up researching, asking for pricepoints, and started calling the ac companies in the order they came up on my google searches. After the first few calls I started to realize price for service was not going to be discussed and to get a technician out the following day was a slim chance since I started getting replies of no availability.

Anyways Rebel was responsive after I'd told them I'd just gotten a repair and was simply looking for a second estimate. I was told there would be a $70 charge for them to just send out a technician and I agreed since they were available and the lady on the phone emphasized that she couldn't tell me what to expect for pricing since the tech would need to do a diagnosis.

Wrapping up here. Their tech showed me I actually needed 7lbs, not 4.5lbs as Ryan advised, of the R-22 freon with Rebel's cost being $103 for the first 3lbs combined  and $40 for each additional pound(Number One/Ryan quoted me $88 PER POUND). Freon alone came to: Rebel Refrigeration($260 for 7lbs R-22) and quote from Number One($396 for 4.5lbs R-22). Price and pounds difference have me saying Fishy Fishy. Rebel's technician also replaced a loose valve(for free since he felt bad after looking at my receipt from Number One) and offered a $120 membership for future service calls and reduced rates with my final total with Rebel Refrigeration coming out to $418($298tech service alone + added $120 membership).....and my AC was back and cooling before their tech left.

I'm giving Number One a truly deserved 2 stars, because of price gouging. I looked online at parts cost after Rebel's tech shook his head at my paperwork(receipt and quote) from Number One. Now I can see I could have avoided paying $400 for a fan blade and another $400 for the motor for my unit had I not jumped the gun from the getgo.

I was so worried this morning when the AC went out and the forecast called for Sunny, Sunny, Sunny! I chose Number 1 based off their Yelp reviews. They were prompt, thorough and affordable. I spoke with Steve on the phone and was serviced by Leon. My AC is working again and it's only 8:15am! I have their card on the fridge and will be using them again.

Today my husband and I were sitting at home and the house felt unusually cold.  I turned the therrmostat up but the furnace did not go on.  My husband changed the thermostat with no results.  I called Number One Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning at 3:43 to requesting repair.  Service person, Ryan called me at 3:48 to say he was on his way.  Approximately 4:30 Ryan arrived.  He checked out the thermostat and then went up into the attic.  Within 2 to 3 minutes at the most the furnace was on heating the house.  It took Ryan longer to get to our house than for him to fix our problem which was a blown fuse.  He replaced the fuse and clean something off and he was finished.  I was picturing the service person talking us into a new heating system or something expensive.  We were very happy to pay the $99.00 for a 2 to 3 minute repair.  I understand that we were just lucky to have someone available to service us so quickly and late in the day.  Thank you Ryan.  You are awesome.  If we need plumbing, heating, or air conditioning service we will call Number One again, but we would request for Ryan.

Great on the phone, honest and accurate with their time estimates.  Free to have them come check you out even when its the busiest time of the year.  AND here is the kicker.  The guy who came out did about 5 minutes of work and didn't charge us a dime.  He said our unit was OK and we just had a kinked hose, which he bent back into shape.  He helped us find the right kind of air filter online so we knew what to get, and went on his way, refusing a tip.  Everyone I dealt with at this company was not only courteous, professional, and good at their job, but actually a pleasure to talk to.  I instantly trust anyone who has the capacity to fix things that aren't broken and turns it down.  This company is legit, and they've earned a customer for life from me.  Don't hesitate to give them a call.

My air conditioning was not working...no fan..no air...Called these guys around 1pm. They arrived at about 3 pm. The technician went up in the loft and the air was working within 10 mins. I had a bad wiring connection in the loft.

The company did not charge me for the repair. Also, the technician gave me vouchers for the next repair or routine maintenance. A pleasant surprise.

The guys Rafael and Ozzy were great. After finally get  approval from the landlord to have it fixed, they were on time & courteous. Even when I came home today & it didn't seem as cool as it should had been, Rafael came back, reset the thermostat on his way to another call. And best is he actually did follow ups to make sure it was still okay after that. Highly recommend this company if your AC goes out!!

Had a minor issue with a part on my kitchen sink, they only charged me $45 instead of the $75 service fee and offered to come back free of charge if it breaks again. They were able to come out the same day I called within a couple of hours.  Roy was very kind and professional. Will definitely be contacting them again for all my plumbing, heating and air conditioner needs.

The bathroom sink at our office had been leaking for who knows how long, so we finally decided to get it look at today.  I found Number One on google , called and made an appointment  for the same day, no problem.  Roy came out and gave our sink a look and said we needed a new one.  We decided to have him replace it for us.  He took our sink out so fast, I even remarked to him how fast it was! He went, got the new sink, installed it, and was on his way.  He was so nice, and we're so happy to have a non-leaking sink!

If you think handy men are supposed to solve problems, you might be wrong. They will create a bigger project for themselves to make money from you if the problems in your home are small and easy to be fixed.

My downstairs toilet overflowed on its own =(... so disgusting.  I saw the reviews of this company and decided to go with them.  BEST DECISION EVER.  I called the company around 9pm and said they could send a technician over around 10.  I opted to just have them come the next day cause of the additional fee.  They told me to expect Carmine between 12-2.

The next day Carmine called to let me know he was on the way AND he arrived around 12.  I let him know what the problem was, he did an assessment of the situation, and gave me an estimate.  I accepted it and he went right to work.  I asked him a couple questions and he let me know what was going on...kinda walking me through what he was doing.  He informed me of the problem and resolutions and future problems that may occur.  

When he was done he noticed I had a water leakage problem in the front of my yard, did an assessment and took extra time to fix the problem at no extra charge.  Granted it was an easy fix the fact that he actually took the time to notice and address the problem made me really appreciative.  I should be saving $20-$30 on my next water bill.  

From start to finish the service was excellent.

Just FYI: This is a 24/7 response company, but they charge $75 after regular business hours.

My AC unit hasn't been working for 2 days. The week Vegas' weather hit the 110's. It was making a loud sound through the main vent that would last 5-10 seconds and shut right back off. No air what so ever was blowing out. After reading these good reviews, I took this company in consideration. Albert, the technician was very friendly. We told him our problem and he got right to work. He was out in less than an hour. He explained to us what the problem was, fixed it, and also checked the main unit outside and fan in our attic for maintenance. He didn't try to sell us anything. But simply stated he didn't do much, so we were only charged the service fee. My AC is back up and running. My house is finally cooling down! I would highly suggest this company. They're quick and efficient and do not over charge.

I don't usually write reviews, but I had to on this company.  I called this company around noon, and they were able to send someone to fix my air conditioner between 5-8pm. At 5:30 I received a call from the repairman saying he would arrive in 20 minutes.  HE DID!!
Had my unit up and running in under an hour! Knew what the problem was immediately! Didn't try to scam me into a new unit and parts I didn't need! His name was Bill. A very nice man. Careful, prompt,very pleasant, and neat! And the price was very reasonable.

I've used number one plumbing, heating, and air multiple times and have been extremely satisfied with the professionalism and quality of work from their technicians every time.  Recently had an issue with a leaky hvac unit and they were able to repair the issue (and even preventative maintenance on the second hvac unit) for less than half of what other companies were quoting.  Highly recommend them!

I currently live in an apartment and when our a/c went out, the management company sent these guys out. I called about the broken air conditioner around 2 pm on Monday and I was scheduled for an appointment for Tuesday between 10am-3pm. Alfredo and Benny got here just after 3pm and they were able to fix it in about 20 minutes. They were super friendly. It was miserable waiting for them (it got up to 100 in my house by the time they got here), but they got it fixed up quickly.

The only negative is that I wish they could have given me a more specific timeframe for when they'd be here. Staying in such a hot, hot house for 5 hours just waiting around with two little kids was not pleasant; we would have gone somewhere with air conditioning for the morning if we had known they wouldn't have been here until 3. Even if they had to give me such a big opening, if they could have called 30 minutes before they got here or something, it would have helped. But it's done now and it's fixed, so I'm happy (and mildly cooler).

Called on wednesday evening for thursday schedule for maintenance on my both a/c units. Well thursday morning one of the units fan motor went bad. Good thing appointment was made. Jason arrived on time and had part to fix unit. Unfortunately the skies were starting to look good. Decision was made for Jason to return and finish maintenance the following week.  Glad skies didn't open up when he was replacing fan. Totally recommend them!

This time my larger a/c unit was making noise. Called Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning they came to inspect unit. The noise was the case around the unit. The motor was OK but the bearings were starting to go. There was no ETA when the motor would cease. The house wasn't cooling Saturday evening. Placed a service call Sunday morning and the tech wasn't able to fit us in. First thing Monday morning Donavan was here and motor was replaced.  I recommend them. Great service again!

Tried their phone number, said it was disconnected.  Tried another phone number listed on their web site, same problem.

In response to the owner, how would I ever get service from you if your phone number wasn't working?  Perhaps your phone lines only went down for the 30 minutes I needed your services, bad luck on my part I guess.

I had Number One out to replace a broken water heater in August 2011. They were professional, quick and charged me $850. I felt it was a good value. But a few days ago the Bradford White water heater they installed died. I was thankful it was still under warranty. I gladly called Number One to perform the warranty service, but was shocked to learn they charge $650 to replace the defective unit.

That's right. $650 to REPLACE a water heater under warranty.One that only cost $850 in the first place.

I'll let you decide if that seems fair. But IMHO, $1500 to much to pay to have a water heater last more than 4 years.

I don't know if your Bradford White water heater will die... all I know is that if it does, the warranty is really just a $200 discount on getting a new Bradford White installed. At least it was for me.

What can I say about this company. My air conditioner went out in the hottest week of summer. I called another company first. They told me I needed a new air conditioner which would cost over $6,000. I decided call #1 plumbing and ac and get a second opinion.  When Bill got to my house we told him what the other company said. He said let him look at it first. He found out that we didn't need a new air conditioner it was just blocked. He saved us over $5,000 because he cared enough to take the time and fix our air conditioner. I can not say enough about this company and enough about Bill.

Just moved to Vegas and I have to start building all my contacts. My kitchen faucet was leaking and I called Number One Plumbing based on their rave Yelp reviews.

A technician came, very professional, and diagnose the problem asap. To save some money, i ran to Lowes to get a new faucet. The technician came back later and install it. The rate is not cheap but they get the job done. I'm satisfied with their work.

I own multiple rental houses and I've been searching for a good plumber I can trust.  I decided to give Number One a shot when one house got a small shower leak.  For the 15 minute job installing an inexpensive part, they charged $225.

I heard from the tenant that the plumber that showed up was very polite and efficient, but that isn't worth $800 / hr.  Number One foolishly priced themselves out of lots of future business with me and my family.

YIKES I came home after a long hot day and my house was just as hot!! Was not sure who to call so and it was 5:30 pm. So after reading the YELP reviews called Number One. Boy was I glad that we did. The Tech arrived soon (within an hour and 1/2) and he proceeded to replace the motor on the air conditioner. We rent so the landlord paid for the work but I know that the price was in line because our landlord said it was about right. So they did not gauge anyone because of the weather or the fact that he was working on the unit until 7:30 pm!

Very fair, reasonable and fast!

I've used #1 Plumbing, Heating, & A/C twice now and each time I have been very pleased with the service.

My husband and I first called #1 PHAC to fix our A/C. We had home owner warranty but which ever companies were listed on the policy did a horrible job trying to fix the A/C. We had 3 different companies come out and they all did a monkey job. Each work completed only lasted a couple of months. Finally we decided to call a company that had great references. We found #1 PHAC on yelp and gave them a call.

Byran came out to the house and told us right away what the problem was. He ended up having to fix both A/C units. Both having the same problem caused by the other company which was installing the wrong size part. I was so upset because who knows what other damage could have happened using a wrong size part.

I used #1PHAC for the second time at my parents house. The heater was acting up. It would work one day then the next couple of days it wouldn't. Again when #1PHAC arrived to the house, they identified the problem and replaced the part that needed to be replaced. Both heaters need the same part replaced however, the technician only had one. He promised to return the next day with the other part.

I thought we were going to get charged for the double visit. But we weren't and they gave us a Yelp discount.

Their prices are definitely reasonable and the technicians are very knowledgeable.

They are our to-go guys!

I had a tenant at one of my properties call and report that the heater no longer was working. I called Number One Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning and spoke to Steve to inform him of the situation. No problem, he said and asked if I would like him to call the tenant directly to coordinate an appointment so I didn't have to be the middle man. Great and helpful suggestion! He said he would be happy to give a free estimate and that he would call me when he was there to give me a quote over the phone so I can decide if I wanted to proceed with the work or not.

Later that evening I called Steve to follow up and ask if he got a hold of the tenant. He told me that he had and was already at the property. The furnace door had come loose due to improper fasteners and that's why the furnace was no longer working. He had fixed it and it was operating normally. I asked him what the bill would be assuming they had some type of minimum charge. Don't worry about it, he says, it was easy.

Wow...what a great experience. From this point forward ANY plumbing or HVAC issue I have at any of my properties I will most certainly be calling Number One!

I've lived in Las Vegas since '02, and of course have had a lot of service calls for Air Conditioning units at a lot of different residences. By far, Number One is the best. Both of the girls at the office I spoke to, and the tech (Donovan) are the most organized, professional, efficient, honest, punctual, cordial, etc.etc., crew I have ever dealt with.

We had a complicated service situation, since we were dealing with a home warranty company and a house we just moved into this April that was built in 1993. At first, I thought to call another HVAC company that we used at another home, to just get an inspection, and do any necessary preventative maintenance. The home inspector of course didn't do any of this thoroughly, so it seemed like a good idea. Well, that first company and the tech ended up basically fixing something that wasn't broken.

Their tech had mentioned that the fan motor MIGHT need replacement soon, and the bearings were most likely worn. Coincidentally, the unit started making noise almost immediately after the first visit. It was operating fine before. When we called the company again because of the noises it was now making, the same guy came back with an attitude, made some adjustments and the sound was gone. But only again for a day or two. It was really bad at this point, and even FAILED just last Sunday. At this point, we called our warranty company to have them create a work order, and the first service company never even got back to us. We left the house that afternoon, since it was almost 90 degrees inside at that point. When we returned several hours later and turned it on it was working again, so we thought maybe it was a fluke and overloaded, etc.

The unit worked for a couple days, but was making noise even worse now. When we called the warranty company again on Tuesday, within 30 minutes a different HVAC company (Number One) responded immediately, and the tech Donovan came out within 30 minutes. Of course, as he was en route, the A/C unit magically stopped making noise. He ran a thorough inspection and test of the whole system, checking amperage levels and variances, the physical unit and clearances, compressor, capacitor, fan, you name it. There was nothing more he could do at the time, it was working properly.

Our hands were tied. The warranty company would not allow the replacement of any parts since the time Donovan was there, nothing was at failure. We all pretty much knew the fan motor was on it's last leg, but it didn't matter. We paid the deductible, and had a 30 day time frame that if any issues arose again with it, he would come out without us having to again pay a deductible.

Again this being Tuesday, everything ran well for a few days. Up until around noon yesterday. This time, we noticed it was getting hotter and hotter, and outside the unit's fan was BARELY moving. It was toast for sure. We called Number One, with excellent response and phone service again. We we're afraid that it would do the same thing, and magically start working again. When Donovan called me, He told me to turn the unit off (since I said we were leaving it running, in effort to prove that it was in fact failing) as to not damage the compressor. He said he got a pre-authorization from the warranty company to replace the fan motor, and not too worry. Prior to talking to him I thought a little video insurance would be a good idea, so I took a two-shot video of the thermostat, noted the time and dysfunction, as well as the sound the unit outside was making and how the fan was barely operating at all.

Surely enough, he again arrived within 30 minutes as he said he would, and replaced the fan motor. The fact that he got the pre-auth, and saved the hassle of having to prove anything to the lovely home warranty company in that short period of time is nothing short of outstanding. Now, the unit runs great, makes no noise, and our house isn't a sauna. Thanks Number One! Look no further folks, the team at Number One really is the best.

These guys are awesome! When my air conditioner stop working they came out, found the issue (melted wire) and fixed it, for FREE! The two guys that came to my house were knowledgeable, friendly, and didn't look like criminals (like they sometimes do with other companies). I left a star off due to the length of time it took them to come out to look at the issue, two days. Being Las Vegas, that isn't an unreasonable amount time to wait for a quality company but it was inconvenient. I would definitely use Number One again!

Not all HVAC companies clean air ducts so when searching you may need to connect with 2-3 companies before finding one that does offer the service. Number One was able to assist with referrals in this instance.

I have used this company in the past. Always great service.
AC went down this weekend. Over 108* everyday. Tech showed up in about an hour. He told me unit was in need a lot of repairs (17 years old). Tech recommended replacing unit. Crew showed up Monday and were here for several hours. Did great job. House is cool again.

I called several companies about my fireplace which needed to be serviced. After calling several companies to which I totally didn't trust. I called southwest gas company and they referred me to three companies and number One Plumbing,Heating & Air conditioning.
I called Number 1 and spoke to Customer representative Britney and she sent service tech Rafael out the next day and only charge $49.00 for service call. Rafael was quick & professional.
The other companies I called all wanted cash and service charges were much higher. Thanks #1

This place over charges. My compressor on my ac went bad.  I needed a new one. Instead of a price break down . I got a menu of prices from 4800 to 2400 to put in a new compressor . The diffrence from the 4800 come with  2 yar warrenty vs 2400 comes with 6 months warrenty.  A new compressor  only cost around 1000 and a new system is about 4000.  I dont  recommend this place if you have ac problems.  I went somewhere else and have a new compressor, fan, capacitor put in and only 1700.

Second time using Number One Plumbing.  Great service first time led us to using them again.  Called this morning at 8:30 to repair a toilet and had someone here by a little past 9:00.  Carmine was great.  There was a bit more to the problem then first expected but Carmine took care of everything while showing he cared about his customer and concerned about keeping costs down.  Next time I have any plumbing issue, instead of trying to fix it myself, I'm calling Number One Plumbing immediately.

I needed an HVAC technician to fix my heater. Within an hour after I called, a technician was at my house and less than an hour after that, my system was repaired. I consulted another company prior to calling Number One Plumbing and was told that I had a burned out motor. The actual problem were burned wires - a much cheaper fix.  The technician, Ryan, was very professional and personable. Next time I have an issue, I will definitely call them again.

Maybe it was just my technician. But when he busted out his vape pen and said it wasn't a cigarette and to not worry - I thought what the hell. But what could I do- I had no hot water!!! In the end he fixed it. But I will be looking for a better company and will not refer this company to my real estate clients. I wish I was more shocked by this tech, but there are so many bad ones out there, that I am not shocked anymore - Just move on and find a new plumber.

Saw the Yelp reviews called since we had an emergency. We had a leaking pipe in the wall in our bathroom and it was bubbling up the paint. The other companies we found couldn't come until tomorrow and we felt like it was necessary to have this fixed immediately before it got worse. Called at 9:30am they arrived at 11am. Quick service. My husband figured out that it was a screw that went through the water line when we went to hang a new bathroom mirror. My husband opened up the dry wall and the plumber changed the named and leaky pipe. The job cost $650 which I assumed seemed pricey although what needed to be done was handled quickly. We appreciate the prompt customer service. Since the job was finished we've been quoted a more reasonable price but there is honestly no price on piece of mind and the quickness that the job was handled before it worsened.

My air conditioning stopped working (along with half of the neighborhood). My landlord booked the repair with Number One the next morning. They called me back and were pleasant, saying they'd make it out sometime between 3pm-6pm. The repairman called at 3 and said they'd be right over, and they were. 2 repairmen were present, asked what was wrong and went right to work on the unit out back. About a half hour later they said they'll have to call the landlord for approval to fix since it'll be a little over $1000,  so I'd be out of air conditioning for a while. Well how long is a while? At least til tomorrow sometime. UGH!

A half hour later my landlord calls me saying someone else will be out tonight for a second opinion since the estimate was so high.
Well the repair needed was different than what they quoted and the repair was 300$ less than Number Ones.

I had a great experience with this company! They sent Roy W. to repair a leak coming from my toilet, and he did a great job. Not only did he fix the problem, he explained why it occurred. I previously had a service agreement with another company, however, I wasn't pleased with their sevice (quality had diminished quite a bit). Moving forward, I'll only be calling #1 plumbing because of the expediant and quality work performed by Roy.   His customer service was excellent!

Last Friday, we had the unfortunate luck of our water heater flooding the garage. We contacted over 10 plumbing companies, most of which charge nearly $100 to come out and look.

For the sake of getting a baseline we scheduled an appointment with one of the big advertisers Yes! Not to speak negatively about their company, but we were immediately uncomfortable with the half an hour of sales pitch. We simply wanted to replace our heater. Needless to say, we did not use them because of the grossly high prices.

One of the companies we called was Number One Plumbing. Their onsite quotes are free, and they were at our house within the hour. The plumber walked in our garage, took a quick look at our heater, told us the price, which was completely reasonable, and completed the work within an hour.

They proved to be straight forward, honest and quick to the point of getting you back on track. We will definitely be using them again for our future plumbing needs.

Love these guys for HVAC work.  I cannot recommend the HVAC guys highly enough. honest,

Sadly, I've not found the plumbing side to be so honest and on the ball. So, so work and hard sells on things that don't work for twice the retail cost (not including install).

So, to sum it up, for HVAC these are my go to guys.  I'll be sticking with my independent plumber from now on.

Had our kitchen sink and dishwasher both stop draining, and waited almost a week for another plumber to cancel last minute on the day of service. Requested a quote from these guys at around 9am, and they had a really great technician, Roy, out here by 1030am! He fixed everything, along with a few other plumbing issues we had, in less than an hour. Very knowledgeable and courteous guy, would love to use these guys again for any plumbing issues. Don't forget to use their Yelp coupon, but they quoted a fair price regardless.

What a ripoff! For just connecting bbq grill to a gas stub is worth $300+. We already bought our conversion kit and we have a stub so why $300+?. And it's a brand new house so nothing to fix. Some companies they only charge $65-$80. We just chose this company because of the $30 for $75service deal. If not for safety, I would just install it myself! Just a waste of time!!!

I just wanted to write a quick review for these guys.  I've used them before a couple of times for smaller air conditioning repairs with Donovan coming out and I've always had a good experience with him.  This time, when my upstairs air went out, I was hoping for the same kind of small issue, but it turned out that one of my two units finally needed to be replaced.  Unfortunately I didn't have time to shop around for other quotes, so I can't really vouch for the price, but Gabe and John were here on time today and worked straight through in the heat for about 5 hours to install both the required outside and inside parts.  They were very professional and Gabe took the time to explain things to me and answer all of my questions.  They even tidied up my second older unit to hopefully help it last a little longer.  Much appreciated, and I won't hesitate to use them again for future issues (hopefully not for a while though).

Then I was trying to talk to her about the message I got about the quote of $350 plus miscellaneous parts and she told me I was wrong and that I was talking about some coupon! Literally as I am reading the message to her about a quote, not some coupon, I have she's telling me they don't give out prices until you pay the $50 fee for them to come out to you. The fee isn't the issue. Her attitude and the way she speaks is. I wish I could properly portray just how rude I thought she sounded in this review. I don't need someone to tell me I was wrong about getting the message from them, I needed her to answer my questions.

Forever Grateful!  Saved Me Over $2,000.  I bought a water heater from Sears (model 153338003) just 6 years ago.  We began to smell a strong rotten egg smell which the gas company adds to the gas.  Not knowing where it was coming from, we called the gas company.  The young man was there for almost 3 hours and said all his tests come up negative.  Just when he was leaving, he blamed the furnace in the closet next to the water heater.  He said the fan was blowing out the flame.  It wasn't.  The gas smell remained.  

That narrowed down to the water heater.  Not a big deal we thought.  Just call Sears.  The young man that came out didn't seem confident he could fix it.  He disappeared to his truck for about 45 minutes.  When he came back, he said that they don't carry parts for that model any more.  How was that possible?  The unit cost $1,000 and about $500 to install six years ago.  if it was a one-of-a-kind, they should have told me and i might have passed.

So, faced with the possibility of having to spend at least $1500, we thought we'd look into a tankless system.  We called, Number One (of course), Lowes, and a company who only does water heaters whose initials are WHM.  

Lowes wanted a $40.00 fee just to give an estimate.  Scratch.  They are out.  

WHM told me up front, it could be $5,200.  But since it was just an estimate, I had them come out.  The gentlemen (i use that term loosely) seemed to do a thorough job looking over my gas line, venting, and such.  I asked what brand name of tankless they'd be installing, but he stumbled with that question which made me suspicious.  He then he wrote down all the things involved in installing the tankless and told me to SIGN it saying it was just an estimate.  I looked it over and it clearly was not an estimate, it was a contract.  As he left, i asked for an estimate just to replace the current tank and I haven't heard from them since.

Now that we were seeing tankless prices so high, we cancelled an estimate from Number One.  But, we had the nagging feeling that parts for the broken water heater have to be somewhere.  We called Number One and the woman gave us the number of the local supply house (PPC, i think).  Called PPC and they don't carry Sears parts.  They advised me to call Sears - which the original repairman already had to no avail.  

I decided to call Sears myself, and indeed they don't carry parts for that unit.  At least she was sorry, but i was about to be out of thousands of dollars.

I then went to Sears to buy a new unit.  Somehow, i forgot that we had a 98-gallon and i bought a 75-gallon.  With install, piping, permits, taxes, etc. it was over $1,200 dollars.  The cashier forewarned me that the install price was an estimate and there might be ancillary charges in order to meet code.

On the day when the Sears-selected plumbers came out, the plumber looked over the existing  installation and calculated the ancillary charges to be over $1,100 for things like new recirculation pump, longer vent pipe, etc.  I told him to forget it and there was no way i'd be paying that much unless i could buy some of the parts myself.

My wife then reminds me that i never talked to Number One about repairing the existing water heater.  They had repaired a previous issue and were familiar with the unit.  She calls them (I'm done by now) and explained the situation of parts not being available.  The receptionist takes the message and we wait.  

An hour or so later, we get the call from Roy (I always ask for him now) - they found the parts.  Couldn't believe it.  I'm saving over $2,300 (and remember i bought the 75-gallon instead of the 98-gallon by mistake)

All the time the water heater was broken, we are manually turning on and off the water heater for 45 minutes each morning and night.  The good news is that during the process of lighting the pilot light, we find that the smell is coming from a  leak in the pilot light tube.  This saved us something additional otherwise we'd be replacing the thermostat, burner, pilot tube, etc.

My AC was struggling on a 111 degree day, and I called them on a weekend. They called before they arrived, Jeremy was friendly, professional and courteous. He checked everything out, gave me advice on the filter and maintenance, checked everything out, and gave me an estimate for a (future) motor replacement. He didn't chide me too much for not having changed the filter or hosing out the grilles on the AC unit, and he DIDN'T CHARGE ME ANYTHING. Amazing.

They'll have my business when it comes time for any more service. A+++

I am not sure who put the reviews up but when a company charges $49.00 just to come out and give you an estimate of work I say watch out! Beware. There are other companies who do not charge you at all. The whole reason for a free estimate is to allow the customer to price shop. Makes me wonder if the have people doing the reviews for them.

Two days ago, I walked upstairs and thought that I'd walked into an oven.  The AC was messed up.  So, I called these guys the next day and was able to book them for an appointment--they confirmed it with the tech and even called me up to let me know when they'd be over.

I showed the guy what was wrong, he went outside and messed with a few things, and then pulled out a capacitor that needed to be replaced, in addition to fixing a leak.  

I can sit back and relax in my fully air-conditioned house and enjoy the cool air as I write this review.  

Guys, you were definitely a lifesaver.  And, I'm so happy that you gave me a $30 off coupon for my next service (as opposed to the 10% Yelp discount I got last year).  I was surprised that they actually remembered me, but I'm glad that they did.  I'll definitely keep these guys in mind whenever I have another problem.

A couple of days after I moved in to my house, found out I did not have water running into the house, the next day a friend dropped by and turned the water on from  the main water line.  I finally got my water running to the house, unfortunately I found out I have a leak under the sink.  I immediately called #1 Plumbing and Heating after I read the reviews here on Yelp.com.  They sent Roy to fix my kitchen plumbing needs and he did an outstanding job.  He checked the garbage disposal, it really sounded bad, and he fixed the leak under the sink,, told me that I will need to replace my garbage disposal eventually because the metal inside is grinding, and made sure nothing was stuck inside the garbage disposal. He also found were the plugged in for the disposal was as it has been covered by the sink cabinet, had to drill a hole on the back of the cabinet to get to the switch that was covered by the people who installed the cabinets.  Thank you Roy for a job well done, you made my day.  I also agree to everything the lady said about you on another review, very well said...God Bless...

I called this company because my AC was not working well. And since I now live in Las Vegas YOU GOT TO HAVE AC!!!! I called this company and they came out right away. The person on the phone was nice and professional. The service man that came out was very nice. Sometimes you are afraid to let these people come into your house but not this company. He was nice, professional and I felt comfortable having him in the house. Which is a plus right there.
He got the job done fast and now my unit works great. And the price was reasonable. This is a good company and I would recommend them.

I was out visiting my friends in Vegas, as per norm, and we were originally planning to bum around on the strip. I got in pretty late at night, so we figured we would find something since Vegas never sleeps. Haha. Unfortunately, as it turns out, they found a leak in their water heater and we had to deal with that instead.

As a Yelper, I told them not to worry and looked up plumbing via Yelp. The biggest issue was finding someone open at 2am. When I saw the reviews and the Save 15% Off Plumbing Repairs I knew Number One Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning was probably a good choice. The question was... were they open?

Sure as I am writing this, we lucked out because they were one of the few willing to come out at that god awful hour. I don't know if you have ever had a leaking water heater and I am sure it varies on how bad the leak is, but water isn't cheap! It's one of those things you just can't wait on.

Well, I did the dirty work of finding someone, so I let my friends call and do the rest of the business. :P All I know is that the service was FAST! I saw the guy come in, take a look at the water heater, and after some work, it was over! He talked a lot about what was going on and what he recommended. I was relieved that he was so professional and upfront. I mean, how would you feel if you recommended someone to your friends and they turned out to be some bozos who just want to charge you as much as they can to fill their own pockets?

Even though I only have limited knowledge about water heaters, my friend knows a bit more and said that he was impressed by the guy. I guess they found their go to person since I can't always do the Yelping for them. :P

It is refreshing to have prompt & honest service & not be charged an arm & a leg. Byron came out & quickly diagnosed & repaired out A/C unit. He didn't try to upsell us or try to get us to sign up for an expensive annual service contract like the previous HVAC company, ARS. It was a lot less than we thought the bill would be. I would like to compliment #1 AC & Heating on the installation of a new AC unit for my home. While bids were obtained from other companies, I found #1 to be the best, not only in price, but also in their reasonable payment terms.

The unit was installed today by Eric and Gabriel, two professional, yet friendly, service men. It was obvious they were quite knowledgable and experienced in their profession. I highly recommend them.

One never likes to spend money on things like plumbing and heating, but at least now I have a company I can trust to do a great job.

And my air-conditioning go out early in the evening one night and needed repair. Call Number One Plumbing late in the evening to schedule an appointment. Sean, our technician, arrived an hour earlier than expected. He was courteous, kind and diligent with his work. After giving us a fair estimate and the possibility of other issues and their costs, the problem was caught quickly, diagnosed thoroughly and remediated properly. His visit lasted less than half an hour. A discount was added for using Yelp for their services.
Bottom line: I have never had a more proficient service take care of my air-conditioning needs so promptly, expediently and expeditiously. The true rating on this review is 5.0 and Number One Plumbing absolutely earned every bit of that rating...

John and Naquan from Number One Plumbing came to install a new toilet in a guest bathroom. The old one had been constantly running and we purchased a new one. John and Naquan did a great job, especially since there were unexpected issues which made the job a lot more complicated than anticipated. I was very pleased with how professionally they attacked each issue and systematically solved the problems. They treated it like they were fixing their own homes and I was very happy with the results. They explained each step, made sure I understood what they were doing, and were efficient and very neat. I got my water heater replaced yesterday through this company based on all the great reviews, but I do not recommend this company.  

The overall service was okay, and they were quick to respond to your call.  However, when they replaced the water heater, the technician damaged the dry wall and the paint where the water heater stands.  So I pointed out to the technician and his response was oh, this happens all the time.  Okay, so if it happens all the time why don't they use a towel or some thing to prevent it from happening?  Not sure about others, but I don't expect to have people come over to fix something but break something at the same time.  Especially when I paid $1035 for the service.  

I've asked to speak with the manager, and he too said the same thing...that it happens all the time.  Okay, then fix it!  The manager said he'll call me back to schedule an appointment later to come and fix the damage.  Of course, he sounded a little irritated like I ruined his day.  

This company might have good reviews but I wouldn't use them again.  How can they call them professional when they damage your place when they are just replacing the water heater.  And if it happens all the time, then have the supplies ready to fix it.  To me that's the sign of professionalism....especially when you paid them $1035.

Now I'll see if they will actually call me back to fix the damage.  May be they will if they see this review.  I'll update in the future.

Update:  They came back a week after and fixed the problem.  Very prompt and courteous.

We have had the unfortunate pleasure of working with these folks three times over the past eight months... I say unfortunate only because I would have rather NOT have had to call for repairs.

All three technicians were incredibly nice and honest. Yes, honest. These guys all took their time to show us exactly what was wrong, explained possible reasons why it happened, recommended multiple solutions, and performed the work necessary in a very efficient manner.  One man even suggested ways to prevent the problem from happening again and what we could do on our own to remedy.

Two calls were for plumbing, one for AC repair. The AC repair shared some good insight on the type of unit we have and what to do to prepare for the inevitable replacement (far sooner than I had hoped, but we have time to save and prepare for it).

Overall, if you have a plumbing or HVAC problem, give these folks a call!

The air in my vents were not flowing so the first company I called sent out a technician that spent a total of 15 minutes and told me I need a new motor ($580) and a new thermostat ($180 - $280) plus the service call fee. I did not have a good feeling about him (even though he was the repair manager) so I told him I would think about it. I eventually called #1 Plumbing - Heating & Air Conditioning and spoke with Steve who immediately set up a appointment for me within the next 2 hours. The technician (Bill) who was the plumbing & hvac manager arrived on time and was very professional, cordial and thorough. The problem was a emergency power switch that was turned off. He had surmised the problem within 2 minutes but he went ahead and spent around 35 minutes diagnosing every other possibility just to make sure. This included testing the thermostat which was functioning just fine and did not need to be replaced just like the motor which was also operating correctly. I was so impressed with his honesty and work ethic that I asked him about some plumbing issues that I had and he did not disappoint, he was thorough and explained everything in layman's term so I could understand the issues. The prices that were quoted were very reasonable and again the service was superb. I can honestly recommend this company with a clear conscience! I am definitely a customer for life and will recommend them to everyone I know!!

I have used this company many times for air conditioning and finally used them for plumbing.  They are outstanding in both areas.  Plumber they sent out (Carmine) told me all the costs up front and did an excellent job.  All people sent out for either AC or plumbing are knowledgeable, courteous, neat and very up front on all costs.  Highly recommend them.

I like the techs but the business is a joke. I had a spring service done and it revealed that my HVAC unit needed replacing, and it was the age for that. So they gave me a quote and I got a few others and between their techs and their price, went with them.  The install was fine but less than five months later the HVAC unit stopped working.   I called in and they tried to charge me for the visit out and I said no way, the install and equipment are still on warranty.  They did end up sending someone out and he got things running by bypassing a broken part.  It has now been two months and nothing.
They don't call to give me a status update and when I call they blantantly lie to me.  For example, despite my giving them my name and address they had no idea who I was or why I was calling but when I asked specifically about the part being replaced they said it's on backorder instantly, no time at all to even look up something they couldn't see up until then.  Now I don't make the mistake of giving the specifics of waiting on a part and they admit theh have me in the system but can't even tell me what work they did for me originally and apparently didn't keep my email.  

While writing this I got a call from the service manager, three minutes since my last call, and he knew exactly why I had called and admitted they hadn't even ordered the part.  

Again, the techs are great but the office staff are such a failure it is impossible to get past.

Great great company to work with. A few years ago I had an issue with HVAC system so I called #1 and they sent Rafael. Up to that point I had dealt with about 3 different HVAC companies and was used to pretty shoddy service and customer service but when Rafael showed up he was professional, very knowledgeable and very efficient. He explained things in a way that even a person with little to no experience with HVAC systems can understand. He even got on the phone with the manufacturer to find out about warrantying the parts and as it turns out, it was eligible, I KNOW the other companies I had dealt with would NOT have done that for me and my family. Here we are 2 years late, we moved to a new house with cooling issues. 2 of my rooms were a lot warmer than the rest of the house, I call Rafael and he came (yet again) to the rescue. He pin pointed some issues with the construction of the rooms/house. Rafael and Gabriel came to my house in the morning and in a few hours my rooms were cold and system was running very efficiently AND (foremost) the job was insanely neat! They added an extra return and 2 inlets for more air into the rooms and the detail that they put into the job was impeccable. Highly highly recommend.

I came home from another busy family day to find that my AC was not blowing air and the thermostat was reading 90 degrees and it was 9:30 at night.
I called Number One after reading such incredible reviews on Yelp and I'm so glad that I did. I got a hold of someone immediately and within the hour a technician arrived at my front door.  The tech even called ahead to introduce himself so that I'd feel safe and know who to expect.  Within an hour of his arrival, Danny, the technician, had replaced my broken fan motor.  He was extremely professional and personable as well.  I appreciated his help.

I will entrust any of my heating/ cooling/ plumbing etc. issues to this company in the future, as well as recommend them to anyone.  

By the way, I mentioned that I learned about them from Yelp and received a 10% discount.  Call them!!!! :)

My A/C died, did some research, saw the reviews on Yelp and called today at 4:50pm, they gave me the free estimate deal because I called before 5, also got 10% off for mentioning Yelp. Receptionist was very friendly and Ryan the technician was courteous and professional and FAST! He knew what was wrong right away and it matched what I had researched. By 7pm tonight I had a new motor and the house is no longer 86 degrees! It felt a little pricey, I wish the invoice would show a breakdown of how much the motor cost, how much the labor was, etc..I think the price was probably not too different from other places, but I had to google how much that motor costs retail to see if it was in the same ballpark to know for sure. But in the end I'm happy to pay what I did because in two hours I had a working a/c again without any upselling or misinformation. Will definitely be using Number One again and recommending to everyone. The motor and work is also under warranty for a year.

Had an issue with water overflow when the dish washer drained the water. Called on Tuesday, they had an opening and they sent Roy to fix the problem. Very professional, he told me what the problem was before I finished closing the door letting him in. Within thirty mins the problem was fixed and we even got a voucher  for $30 for future repairs needed. He even gave me a heads up that we'd need a new garbage disposal soon and gave us rates if we went through them. Pleasurable experience. Will continue to use for any plumbing needs.

I have used this company twice.  The first time was just to check the fireplace for safety as this home is a rental and the fireplace had not been lit for 10 years.  The tech that came out was very professional and found no problem with the safety of the fireplace.  He explained everything to me about the fireplace and the cost was exactly what I had been quoted.  I was very pleased.

Four months later the air conditioner was not cooling properly.  I have a home warranty for the property and another company was sent to repair the problem.  The other company was not professional and just stated that the unit needed to be replaced and that there was nothing wrong with the unit except that it was old and not big enough for the home.  This did not make sense to me as it was a unit installed by the builder.  I contacted the home warranty company and requested a second opinion from Number One.  I spoke with Jessica and she was very professional and pleasant.  She set up an appointment for the next morning. The tech, Donavan, checked the unit and within minutes found that there was a bad capacitor (It was bubbled and leaking oil) and he found that the fan was running backwards.  He had the unit cooling in no time.

The two times I have used this company, I have been very pleased.  I would highly recommend them to anyone and will certainly use them for any needs I have in the future.  They are professional, prompt and knowledgeable.

#1 Plumbing & AC does a good job but they are pretty expensive.   I had them fix a broken valve on the outside of my house.  It took Carmine about 15 minutes to change it out and I was charged $270.  The valve costs $85 at the store.  That's a pretty big profit margin for such a quick job.  But they squeezed me in on short notice and were polite and prompt.

I called these people on a Monday in the middle of summer and they still managed to come over within a few hours. There were several issues with my AC unit, but luckily  the guy they sent had 15 years experience and figured everything out quickly. I keep my house like a meat locker even when it's 110 out, so I am no stranger to AC companies. The tech was great, the office lady on the ball, the price fair, and they didn't try tro sell me anything I didn't need like others have in the past. I was 100% satisfied and will definitely call them the next time I need AC help.

I have an old air conditioning system that is limping along on crutches, just waiting for the day that drains my bank account. Sure enough, I flipped that sucker on for the first time this year.... and no cold air! The fan outside just wasn't kicking in to cool the air. Sigh.....

Thanks to Yelp and some of the reviews, I thought I'd give #1 Plumbing a try. Gave them a call on Sunday to make an appointment for Monday, no emergency, so I left I message with their answering service. They called me promptly on Monday morning and service technician Byron was at the house by lunch time.

About 20 minutes later, I hear the outside fan kicking itself into gear and Byron came into the house showing us a broken wire in his hand. That's it!  Didn't try to tell me it was a capacitor that needed replacing or some other $150 gadget, just charged us for the service call (with a Yelp! discount). Byron took the time to explain that sooner or later we would have to replace our system and what are options might be, which I knew already, but not today.

Nice to find honest service technicians, isn't it?  I highly recommend #1 Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning - I know I'll be calling them when it is finally time to change out my almost 20 year old system.

Just got done inspecting my ac. I am impressed by the professionalism and knowledge Rafael (the ac tech) displayed while attending to my ac.  Luckily there wasn't anything wrong with my ac. But just to get it checked by Rafael was more than worth the amount charged.  I am happy to see an HONEST ac company in Las Vegas. AC leaks water into the house. They first sent a plumber to identify it's not plumbing leak, they charged me service fee of course. Then they sent AC guy and I was told the leak is because the AC unit is misaligned. After another visit, they fixed the alignment. I was charged over $460 but the leak continues. Then they told me I need to replace the coil, the cost will be an extra $1100. I don't know if I can trust them any more.

One of our AC units went out. I called the company that had installed the units for Pulte when the home was built. They said they would call me right back to schedule a technician. 3 hours later I had not heard a thing. They were also going to charge me $75 just to come out. I was tired of waiting so I called Number One. Within a half hour they called me back and scheduled me for the next morning, which is what I requested. Called the other company back and they didn't even ask why i was cancelling their technician, which I thought was odd, but oh well.

Ryan came out the next morning and tested my unit, thermostat and wiring. He then messed with a few things and within 15 minutes my AC unit was back up and running. The cost? Zero! There was no charge since he was able to fix it so quickly! I actually felt bad that I didn't have any cash on me because I wanted to at least throw him a $20 for driving out.

Great experience. This call was for AC, but if I have any plumbing needs I will call them now instead of the plumbing company I used in the past!

I'm very reserved and hesitant when it comes to calling the repairmen. Basically because I have heard so many horror stories and don't know much about what I needed fixed. Fortunately for me, Number One... was such a pleasure to work with.These guys live up to their name. The people were friendly and courteous. The appointment was easy and prompt. Not only did the tech knew his stuff, he was friendly and patient too! He explained in clear layman's language what the problems were. He did not try to make up stories of hidden needed repairs. All that and the price was right! Can't beat that.

On Saturday morning at the start of three day weekend with temperatures supposed to be around 112, my tenant called me and said the AC was out.  I live out of state and was nervous about getting this fixed quickly and over the phone.  Number One had the AC fixed by 10:30AM!!!!!!  Superior service and amazing response time.  I will not call anyone else again.

Since I seen this name of this company, let me tell you about my experience, I believe in 2021, I made a service call for a leaky toilet that was draining out the bottom of the bowl and was draining water unto the first floor.  The toilet bowl water was constantly running.  I was really disappointed with the repairman.  He slowed down the problem but didn't stop the leaking or bowl water from flushing, he told me that it won't cost too much money since I slowed it down.  Huh!  I called for the Supervisor and he couldn't repair the problem.  The Supervisor gave me a handshake and walked away.  I did not received no follow up, no call back, no discount, nothing.  i paid for the service they did do and went somewhere else.  Oh by the way the Receptionist who were taking calls was horrible in customer servce.  Thank you for your time.

Thank you so much!  The tech, Rafael, called when he got stuck in traffic to let me know he would be late.  When he arrived, he quickly found that some wires were loose and the breaker had tripped.  Within 10 minutes the ac was fixed and he told me there was no charge because he arrived late, and that wasn't his fault.  It's so wonderful to have an honest repairman who didn't try to upsell me.  Now we are ready for the summer!

I got home from work yesterday and the AC wasn't cooling my house. The fan worked, but the air blowing out of the vents was not cold.

I called Number One around noon today and spoke with Steve. He took my information and told me he'd call me back to schedule a time later this afternoon. He returned my call about 45 minutes later and told me that Bill would be out to check out my AC system between 4pm and 7pm.

Bill called about 5 and told me he was on his way. After checking out the system, he did whatever it was he did (I wasn't watching), and the house started to cool down.

The price was fair, I received a Yelp! discount (sweet!), and I will certainly call Number One again should I have any new problems with my AC. I'd also call them for plumbing problems.

Been meaning to write this review for a couple weeks now.  I live in San Diego but I have a tenant in a condominium I own in Las Vegas on Flamingo road.  AC broke down on him.  Knowing things like that could be expensive and worried someone might try to rip me off since I'm not physically there,  I got on Yelp to find out who's got the good reviews.  They were able to get out that day in which they gave a free estimate.  The price was right, very fair for what was wrong and the amount of time it was going to take, so I gave them the go ahead and tenant is happy again.  If you want honest, fair, quality service give these guys a call.  Highly recommend.

Be careful with this company, Yesterday the guy his name is Juan come to me place about 4:30pm after he check my air-condition and called me said my unit is bad, all the freon leaked out, coil breaking, compressor is not working and bad thermostat. He told me need replace the whole unit, I asked him he said need $5500. I told him I don't have a lot money, try to fix. He said he don't suggest to fix it , That is like throw out money, if fix it minimal need $1400. But he can't guaranty after fix if compressor can working. I got so frustrated. My tenant give me a lot pressure to fix or replace. She even call the attorney talk to me and pressured me to fix or replace the air quick. Since I really don't have not much money, Last night I called one of air conditioning guy his name is Lee. He came to the unit this morning less than 3 min he turn on the air and it works perfect and very cold. Tenant has nothing to complain. I post this want to the people know there is a lot bad guys like this company, they are not honest, when they give you estimate, if the price is not reasonable please get second opinion. This company is simply amazing! I am an owner of a condo and of course on a Sunday of a 3 day weekend, as I am on the road heading out of town, my tenant called me to advise me that the hot water heater was leaking. I get on my phone and go to Yelp. There were only a few places open on a Sunday AND a 3 day weekend. It was about 11:00 am and the 1st place I called said that they would not be able to make it out until about 6pm that night and it would cost $150 plus any service. I don't think so! I called Number One Plumbing and was advised that they could get out by 1pm and it would only be $49 and that the amount would be credited toward any service they did. They actually got to the property EARLY!! Carmine, their service guy was simply amazing. He got to the property to find out that the valve to the hot water heater was located in the apartment downstairs and of course the people were not home. He made sure to turn the water off and put a pan under the heater so that it would not leak all over the carpet. Once the neighbors made it home, Carmine went back out to turn the water off until he was able to replace the heater on Tuesday. He also made sure that he put it on the top of his list to do 1st thing in the morning. Everything about this was professional. He made sure that he could deal directly with my tenant before making any arrangements. The dispatcher was very professional in making sure to follow up, answer any questions I had, and not to charge me or quote me anything until everything had been completed. All around top notch!

I was told by YES! (ARS) that I needed a new water heater due to corrosion of my gas valve and heating element.  The price they offered was $1500 for a 50g gas water heater.  I decided to check around and called Number One for an estimate.  They gave me a phone estimate of $1,000 and sent out a service person to give me a firm estimate.  Well, it took him 30 seconds to fix the water heater (a faulty connection on my electric igniter).  No Charge.  Guess what - I will never call YES! again and believe I have over spent for repairs (needed or not) in the past.  I will contract with Number One for my HVAC and Plumbing Maintenance Contract (also a lot cheaper than YES! for the same service) and will use them for all future services.  I am sorry I ever met YES!.

I am driven to write a review as they came out on New Years Day and couldn't have been nicer or more professional.

John called right when they said he would, showed up and fixed an outside hose bib that had been broken off (by kids I think) on New Years Eve. I had to shut the water off so I was so happy when he showed up.  It was not an easy job but he completed it quickly.     Went above and beyond, was fast, friendly and cleaned up everything he had moved.

I would recommend them to anyone.  Very fair company.

Gave me a price of $3800 to fix a leak in pipe. Tear out cement in garage, the works because he said it was kitec pipe installed during boom which was no good. Whole house needs redone, no longer fittings made for kitec. Emailed city, house was inspected in 2011, house was deemed to have vanguard piping, NOT kitec. Call Pure Plumbing, $325. All good!

I had talked to three companies regarding replacing my leaking water heater.  Number One came out as soon as they were done with another customers install.  They quoted a very competitive price and Carmine put my mind at ease with his great customer service attitude.  We shook hands and the work began.  They did everything they said they would do and very efficiently.  No mess and everything was spotless when they were done.  Byron and Scott, two of the managers, were present on the job site for assistance but Carmine was the main man and represented the company perfectly.  It was a pleasure to find a company you feel you can trust and have no reservations using again or recommending.  Yelp was a huge help in my decision and I got a lot from reading the reviews of others.  I felt it was my obligation to write this review so others would read of my great experience and would trust them as I did.

I had an issue with heating in a rental condo unit. I had YES Plumbing, Heating and A/C there first. They told me I needed a whole new unit, piping, and everything else they could think of... Over $12k in work they quoted me. I called Number One, and the receptionist got me on the phone with the owner of the company. I explained what the issue was and what YES quoted me. The next morning, I met two guys from Number One and the owner came out in the afternoon. They finished the work and the total bill was just over $1k. These guys were honest with me and did quality work. It's been two months and no more issues. Anytime I need work done for plumbing, heating or a/c, I won't call anyone else. Thank you!

Wanting a second opinion I called Number One. Glad I did! Service tech Rafael was very helpful and informative.  He found the problem with my AC and we discussed the possibilities for resolution.  In the end I purchased a new unit which was installed the next day. Customers BEWARE. This company was so difficult to work with. At first everything was great, found them on yelp, bought their $35 for $75 coupon and booked them right away to help repair a few things at my home. It all changed when I called the office to pay and was greeted by such a rude lady.

Right off the bat, she was committed to not accepting their coupon I bought on yelp. First she said I need to print it, then she said I have to be there to hand it to the plumber- They knew I was out of town, which is why I gave them a code to access my front door!  I suggested I could email the coupon and she was rude and condescending about the whole thing. She said Well he has to see it in front of him to accept it (what a joke right?). The she said no companies accept coupons shown from their phone UHM EXCUSE ME yelp says print or redeem right from your Yelp app! What the heck. Then she says well I heard he gave you a discount so I wouldn't take the coupon either way.  

Anyhow, I wasted my money on the coupon unless I found another job for them to do. So the next day I booked them to install a thermostat for me so I can use the damn coupon, and she told the gentleman working on my house not to accept it, yet she failed to tell me that they won't accept it. I will NEVER hire these people again. They are rude and have poor customer service. The lady answering the phone is the worst. And don't waste your money on their stupid coupons. It's a joke.

Fast and friendly to say the least !!!! The house I had for sale was about to close a deal when the inspector said my AC and Heating was not working.  I looked on Yelp to find a company with good reviews and # 1 Plumbing, heating and air conditioning showed the best results.  I called and they sent Danny out to my house within one hour WOW that is fast service.  He was very understanding and sympathetic really nice guy ( : Anyhow turns out someone had stolen my whole unit off my roof .  Shocked and freaked out of the cost and audacity that someone would take it I was told a rough estimate and that I would be called the next day my bill was up to 2 thousand but with my 10% yelp discound I saved around 2 hundred and did second day air to get my parts I needed. The AC/Heater was installed only 2 day after my initial call per my request but could have been put in within 24 hours from when I called. The fast service, great staff via phone and in person is excellent. I strongley recommend them for any of your AC/Heater needs.

Really good experience with this company.  Recently had my garbage disposal system go out and also had a leaky toilet.  

They were pretty busy that day I called so the time frame to block out and wait was 12pm-5pm, but they said they will try to get to me as early as possible.  They ended up coming around 3pm.  The technician that showed up was really helpful and fixed the garbage disposal system and doubled checked the whole sink system was working fine.  The toilet took some time, but he gave me some great tips about certain models and additional information.

Price wise they seemed pretty reasonable for the amount of work and service they provide.  Overall a good experience!

I used Number 1 in the past, so I called them out to check an issue. They were pretty good about their timeliness. The tech diagnosed the issue pretty quickly.

It was an inducer motor for a Lennox furnace. Since it was Saturday, they couldn't get the part until Monday, but he could get me the price. There was a price range from 860 to almost 2600.

Needless to say, I was a bit shocked with the range of prices and the upsell to the Platinum package and the bandaid version didn't seem to include replacing the part, just repairing it. He was going to explain all the plans, but I just had him email me the bid with the different plans.

Because of the different plans, I was forced to get a second opinion. I actually got 2 more opinions and was a little disappointed  in Number 1 to find out that most of the items in the upsell were unnecessary.

I will say, Number 1 was timely and sent a knowledgable tech out. I was just disappointed with the pricing structure

Thank you so much Dennis and Antoine for helping me with my plumbing issues. I am new homeowner and I really have no idea about plumbing stuff. They came out the next day to inspect the house and see what exactly need to be fixed. The prices they quoted me were very reasonable. Both of these guys are very patience, they answered every little questions I have about the service. They also educated me what to watch out and how to maintain some plumbing stuff. These guys are the best, I highly recommend them!

when my ac went out i was obviously upset. Looked on yelp and found this company. Although not what I would call cheap, but then who really is now days. They where very friendly over the phone and arrived very quickly. They guy was quick and friendly and took the time to answer my questions and show me what was wrong and how to go about fixing it. They seem like an honest company that tries hard to give quality service to their customers. I would definitely recommend.

Number One did a small job for me during the heat of summer.  I was impressed that despite a full schedule of other work, they made time, kept their commitments, and performed quality work.  Most other HVAC companies did not even make time to give me an estimate.

The plumber and his work were fine.

The price, not so much.

Cost of O Ring is 71 CENTS each. Cost to install on 3 toilets.. $345.

Let's review. Materials cost is a total of $2.13. Time spent doing repairs -1hr.

So I paid the plumber $342.87 for 1 hr of labor.

I believe that will help you when you call and they can't give you an estimate over the phone.

I should have posted my review from last year, but was never able to get to it for one reason or another, BUT, due to having to call for their services again, they definitely earned it (they did last year too, but life gets crazy sometimes).
Last year our ac unit went out... during the hottest week of the year. Number 1 handled the situation quickly & professionally. 13 months later our ac goes out, like a bad nightmare, on a Sunday (yesterday). Number 1 had a tech out within the hour. He got the ac working but it wasn't quite right. Number 1 sent out a tech this morning and the tech, Jerome, got everything straightened out...all under warranty, of course.
Since my ac was replaced last year, I now have an extended warranty for my house that Number 1 accepts (didn't know that when I purchased the warranty, just found that out yesterday), & will continue to use them whenever needed.

Water heater busted on a Saturday night, I called the 24/7 number the message operator took my info and I  promptly received a phone call around 8am. After reading all the Yelp reviews I was ready to give them business but declined after being notified of a $75 Sunday Visit Fee. I declined, took my business elsewhere and had a new water heater installed by 11:30am Sunday morning.

In fairness, they were really nice over the phone and quick to set up an appointment. I just didn't like the $75 up-charge for a Sunday visit from a 24/7 service company.

I had a leak in the wall of my home.  They came out, isolated the leak, opened up the wall, and repaired the hose that had been pierced by a nail when the home was being build 9 years ago.  They did an awesome job.  But when I asked if they knew someone to fix the drywall that had to be cut out for the repair they recommended a company.  I called the company and they said they would call and come out the next morning.  Well when the next morning arrived the guy didn't call or show.  I called several times and even texted a couple of times and still no contact.  Finally I just went online and found someone to fix it and make it look like nothing ever happened.  So, Number One Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning does great work but don't bother contacting their recommended company for any repairs to your drywall or home.  Overall, I am very satisfied with their work but very disappointed with their recommendation.  Thank you Number One !!!!

I had used #1 plumbing to replace my water heater last February. I was super happy with Roy, ease of making an appt, etc. and gave #1 plumbing 5 stars on Yelp immediately.

However based on a more recent experience, I'm decreasing to 1 star rating.

In late September, I noticed 7 tiles in my kitchen were buckling and the grout line between these tiles was raised in a small peak. I knew my sewer lines ran under my house and feared a leak of some sort. Based on my previous experience with #1plumbing, called them for an appt. I also reviewed their website to make sure they were experienced in leak detection and used sound equipment to evaluate situations. Carmine came out, evaluated the buckling, fired up the sound equipment, and determined there was a leak. He had me listen also, to show me the difference of an area of floor with a leak and without. He said I had a slab leak, basically water pipes leaking in slab foundation (a common way builders develop Vegas homes). He said this was a big job, basically to jack hammer foundation, find leak, and repair leak. We made appt for him to come back with help. There's more story here, but will spare for this purpose.When #1 team came back, they validated with their sound equipment again, then got busy to identify the leak. Removed/destroyed 28+ tiles, cut dry wall in 3 places on first floor, drilled holes in foundation. No leak. Carmine and team were going to continue with more destruction-looking for this leak. My anxiety was creeping up a bit, and with my insurance company on the phone, we (all-including Carmine) thought to call American Leak Detection (after this experience, I learned contractors in Valley know them as experts). #1 plumbing left house, ALD there in 2 hours. Eddie, the tech/plumber, was there for 15 mins with his similar looking sound equipment, he said NO LEAK. Of course I was upset, but I used him for next 45 mins (as I was paying him for the hour/service call) to learn a bit about Vegas plumbing/house construction. He also supported his findings verbally and with a written report. I called Carmine (he had given me his mobile #), told him ALD said no leak, Carmine laughed said he is as lost as we are. He doesn't know for sure. I left it with that, hanging in air, told Carmine I needed time to think. Really, just wanted to get off the phone with the guy who ruined my home. I cooled off, 3 days later called #1 plumbing, asked to speak with plumbing service supervisor. Bill and I rationally discussed the events by phone. Bill made a house call to review damage. After some back and forth, #1 reimbursed me for the cost of repairs.

2things:
A) #1's sound equipment was not working correctly at the time.
B) Root cause of buckled tile-was extra moisture in foundation from the extreme rains we had in late summer. Generally, tile buckling could be a slab leak or excess moisture in foundation (due to Vegas' extreme weather conditions, heat/dry/monsoons). Once leak is ruled out, moisture may likely be the cause.

#1 is getting a 1star updated rating due to their faulty sound equipment, and lack of expertise by team. I learned that their first cut into my home's dry wall showed my piping ran up into house from garage (behind drywall to 2nd floor-this is more common in Vegas homes built in the 2000's and after) and not underneath home. The team did not know this or recognize it. So the destruction continued.

Look, I believe in learning from all mistakes. I learned a ton from this experience, e.g., plumbing, construction, specifics to look for if a leak is suspected (w/o equipment). Generally, #1 plumbing has nice people working for them, and I really trusted them before this project. I was planning to use them (and recommend them) for all my plumbing, and HVAC needs. But this experience was not good. 3 months later, after repairing my home, I'm writing this review--and not to be overly critical to the business but, to maybe assist others who may be in a similar situation.

Not impressed at all. I  called and explained the problem I was having with my tankless hot water heater.  Instead of trying to diagnose the problem the technician insisted on descaling  / flushing the system. I  use the same descaling kit. Of course that did not work . I was charged  $135 for nothing. The water heater does the exact same thing. I was told that they would contact me to schedule diagnostics. Never heard back from them.  You are better off using You Tube than calling these guys. I recommend that they change flame and ignitor rods. The tech had no clue.

8/10/18 - This company should be called Number One RIPP-OFF Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning.  I have used them before but this time never again! I got the owner/senior plumber Antoine to do a job.  I told him that the leak maybe from the toilet that they fixed before or the shower faucet.

Antoine called me and said it is not the toilet but the shower faucet and diverter.  Then he said that he is going to charge me for taking 30 minutes in flushing the toilet many times and checking if there's a leak.  That's about $45 he said.  I told him that is not right especially if the toilet was not the problem and there was no leak from the toilet.

He continued to tell me that the leak is coming from the shower faucet valve and diverter that needs to be replaced.  He said he does not know how long it will take but the whole thing should cost $335.  I told him that I have replaced these faucet valves before and diverters for I have owned rental properties for over 25 years, and the parts should not be over $50 at the most $100, and no more than an hour to do the job.  Then he starts trying to sell me it costs more because it has been going on for a long time.  I told him that has nothing to do with it because the parts and the labor will cost the same whether it has been going on for a long time.  I gave up arguing with him and said just do it for $335.

Then he called a few minutes later and says that he now has to purchase a new valve and the total cost of the whole job is now at $750.  I told him that this was ridiculous and now I am feeling ripped off!  He starts to explain that because he has to replace the valve, the diverter, and may put a tile back because it is coming off.  I told him that this is a rip-off and I do not want him to fix or do anything.  I specifically told him to put everything back where it belong and I will call someone else to fix it.

He left the apartment but did not put back the way it was when he first saw it with a small leak.  Now the valve is gushing hot water and I would say the small leak is now about half a gallon per minute.  The big leak now is mostly causing more damage than before.  The water is most likely going down to the apartment below and damaging the ceiling.  I will be suing this company if there are any damages done by Antoine's incompetency.

Now I found out from a reliable source that this is nothing new.  He had recently had 15 customers complaining that they too were being ripped-off.  This source tells me too that Antoine wants his technicians/plumbers that work for him to do jobs that were not necessary but only to be able to charge the customer much more on what they really have to pay for.  This company does not want to do work and do honest living.  They are here to get the most money from you.

Number One is a certified rip-off artists, never ever again I shall use them, and stay away as far as you can because they will definitely will rip you off!!!

Well, it looks like Roy is famous here. We had a backed up main sewer line. I called and they said no extra charge for Saturday service which is a good start. They were able to come out within about an hour and a half of my call and Roy called before coming out to say he was on his way. The sewer clog was extremely stubborn. Roy worked at and worked at it. He was determined to unclog it without going to more expensive solutions. We started talking about potential worse-case scenarios after about two hours of him working on the clog. And then viola, with his determination and the use of a larger machine he got the clog cleared and it is flowing like it never did before. I think Roy was just as happy as I was; It is clear that he cared about the customer and not over-charging or recommending unnecessary solutions; The cost was very reasonable. I was very pleased with Roy and Number One Plumbing!

When our central air unit starting making a really, really bad klunk-klunk-grind sound in the middle of the night (on a very hot evening) we started to panic. I turned to Yelp to look for recommendations for a good a/c company. After weeding through the too many glowing review suspicious ones, I settled on Number One Plumbing, Heating & AC. I'm happy to report that my fellow Yelpers once again didn't let me down!

Our a/c tech, Jerome, arrived on time the very next morning. He was courteous, polite, and PUT ON BOOTIES OVER HIS SHOES without me having to ask! That impressed me the most.

Jerome came in and asked more about the issue then climbed up in our attic to take a look. He took lots of photos and showed me what was going on (lots of dust in a part of the unit). He said it's a good idea to get your ducts cleaned but he didn't think we needed to spend the money on that yet. In fact, he did not suggest ANY unnecessary repairs and was very honest and straightforward.

Thanks to a Yelp deal, I saved some cash and a new part, including TWO home visits for the repair, only took about $300 out of my pocket. Not bad, and now our central a/c is blowing the coldest air it has ever put out in over 8 years.

I didn't feel ripped off at all, and I love when a service person is honest. Me, my home and my pets were all treated with respect. If you want fair prices, courteous techs, and friendly, honest service, this is the place to call. This will be my ONLY a/c, heating and plumbing company from now on. Consider me impressed!

The relationship started out good at first. The person on the phone was very nice and scheduled me for same day service. Since it was a rental, they had to contact my renter to schedule a time. All was good. The Technician called me around 4 pm to tell me that the compressor was bad and it needs to be changed out, $2098.00 for 6 month warranty, of course he suggested a better 1 year plan for $2600.00. I  realized from reading the past reviews that this company tend to charge more. I asked the technician several times IF THE ISSUE COULD BE SOMETHING ELSE? He replied every time No Mam this is the only way to fix the air conditioning and make it run again properly. Also, the compressor has to be order so he was not sure when it will get done. The company will have to call me back later to reschedule since they need to order the part and do not know when it will be available.
So I called Legacy Air for a quote, they gave me a quote over the phone of $1850. 00 to change the compressor if that was the problem.
So I followed my guts and reviews on Yelp and went with Legacy Air.
YES, I had to pay #1 plumbing the $49.00 service fee. (total waste of money) but It was worth it to follow my gut.

Legacy Air had an appointment open up at 6pm. The Legacy Air technician called at 6:15pm and said there was something wrong with wiring out side and fixed it. He charged me $70.00 total. Now the air conditioner is blowing cool air and running good.
THANKS TO LEGACY AIR, I DIDN'T GET RIPPED OFF TODAY!!!!!!!!!!

They have fixed a lot of thing at my restaurant the last few months and have done a great job all the way from the office to the guys that do the dirty work. Mindy is very good at following up and making sure everything is good and when something is not working the way I think it should she sends someone out right away to check on it. Today I had one of the guys call me and I couldn't believe how nice and professional he was. I made sure to get his name ( Sean) because I was floored on how well spoken he was and how well he explained everything to me and took the time to listen to my questions and take the time to make sure I understood what I needed to do on my end. Thanks again !

Didn't want to wake at 3 am w/ no A/C so needed to find a company to come out and check out the system. Call to the fiirst company (big yellow trucks/24 hr)..didn't get a good feeling..2nd call to this company..big difference just in the intial call...Maintance check 69.00 vs 99.00. Gave me a 4 hr window w/ a 30 min arrival call...perfect. Donovon met me..went thru step by step. Everything checked out..Did say the unit I had was not the best for the desert...But he didn't try to up sell me..I appreciated that. Said I still had about 5 yrs of life in this unit. I would recommend this company. They are a christian centered company, but don't make any judgements when it comes to service..best advertising is word of mouth..use them..also if you mention yelp you get a 10% discount on service.

Number One AC was excellent and Juan was our technician. We had just had a different company come to fix our AC almost one month prior and just our luck the AC went out yet again. After reading many reviews online I ended up calling Number One and was very much pleased with their services. Juan was extremely nice and professional. Checked the AC filters, showed us how dirty they were even offered to put our new ones up. Told us step by step what he was doing before he proceeded with doing anything and was even able to give us a quote prior to moving forward with any charges. He fixed our AC which is working amazing now! Before our upstairs AC always had to be turned down to at least 72* to even some what cold, every night we were still burning hot with the ceiling fan and floor fan going. Then the other company that supposedly fixed it we never felt a difference in the air temp. After Juan came out we barely have to touch our thermostate our upstairs feels so much cooler now especially with having a newborn in our house the air needs to flow properly for our little on and needs to stay cool in our desert. Thank you Juan for all your help and all you did! We appreciate it!

I had an extremely difficult problem with my furnace, other local heating/AC companies had been unable to fix. T t involved (a circulating pump) is no longer available. Relying on good yelp reviews, I called these guys on Tuesday afternoon. At 8:45 am Wednesday, their plumber (Carmine) and AC guy (Donovan) arrived. After looking over the water heater and furnace, Carmine discussed in depth what would be needed, options for repair and ballpark figure estimates. He returned later the same day after I approved the repairs, pulled the old unit (which required some plumbing disconnects) and went to work on it. About 90 minutes later he installed the replaced unit, had the HVAC guy make the electrical connections.....and.....it worked perfectly (for the first time in about 2 years. Absolutely awesome! These guys are what tradesmen should be....prompt, courteous, honest (and the price was very fair for the extensive work and time involved). I recommend these guys without any hesitation.

My second time using this company in 5 years, HIGHLY recommended.  My AC broke down, 96 degrees inside, but hey I'm tough.  2 day wait (not unusual).  Was told they would arrive between 8 and 10 a.m.  At 7:30 got a call from Donavan saying he would be here at 8:00.  Very professional! When he showed up I gave him the invoice from the last servicing, he said: Yeah, that was me.  Shortly thereafter, my a/c was running great.  He also told me that my unit is old and in bad shape.  I cannot express how impressed I was with his honesty and am pleased to recommend this company.

This place is terrible, the dispatcher/receptionist is inpatient, I believe she hates her job or maybe she just doesn't like the company she works for because works very hard at losing them customers. She is rude impatient and rushes the clients. She really could use customer relations training in the worst way. They also do not work at contacting their clients if you miss a call you will just be out of luck and when you call back the rude woman on the other end of the phone will rush you to reschedule. I can only imagine what type of customer service skills the techs have because if she is any indication of what I can expect when the tech comes out to service me than that would be a Hard No for me; no thank you. These people are not professional at all. Wish I could give them a -0

Great company to do business with.

I've called this company a few times in the last month and I am very satisfied with their service.  The first time was in the middle of sweltering heat in LV.  The AC just died.  I called up this company based on excellent yelp reviews.  I got scheduled for next day.  Albert was prompt and professional.  He took a look at my thermostat, the furnace and the roof AC.  He fixed three different things and replaced the motor on the condenser.  He even fixed the thermostat that was not screwed in properly on the wall.  That was really nice of him.  On top of it, the charge was reasonable and even got the 10% yelp discount.  Later in the week, I had to call back because my neighbor noticed the AC was loud.  By the time Albert came out, there was no more loud noise.  He did the inspection anyway, and made sure nothing was out of place.  He didn't even charge me for the visit.

The third time, I had a leak in the ceiling.  It was a Sunday after LV got hit with heavy rains from last few days.  I called a different company because Number One can't come out til the next day.  The guy quoted me $770 to drain the primary and secondary AC pipes.  Unfortunately (rather fortunately for me), he is unable to do so because he did not have nitrogen in his van.  So I called Number One anyway.  Albert was able to fix the same problem and he only charged me $150.

I have to deduct a star because when I called Number One after office hours to make sure they send out an AC technician, not plumber, that message was not relayed (Must have been a third party company that answers calls outside of normal hours).  On the appointment date, they sent out Carmine and he had to call back the office to send Albert out instead ASAP.

We returned home from vacation late last night, and discovered that our AC was not working for some reason.  The unit would turn on and blow air, it just wasn't COLD air.  After spending the night trying to sleep through the heat, looking around on Yelp, and doing a little research online, we decided to give Number One Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning a call.  We had them on the phone at 11am, and they were here within an hour and a half.  Our AC was fixed and blowing cold air 20 minutes after they arrived.  There was no un-necessary troubleshooting process to rack up our bill, or false information either.  Our technician was honest and fair.  He located, tested, and fixed the problem (Bad Capacitor) quickly and efficiently, and didn't mind me observing the entire process.  He gave me some tips to be able to maintain the system better as well.  

Overall, this company was as good as you could ask for.  Our technician was very experienced and professional, the price wasn't outrageous, and our issue was resolved within 2 hours of the first call.  Not to mention, we got a nice little discount too.  :)  Five Stars...

I scheduled this company mainly because of all the detailed reviews. I needed alot of plumbing work done im glad i called them. Bill was my plumber and he was great. He explained along the way, answered my questions, and work was quickly done.  And didnt cost a fortune! Fyi, they will give u a discount for finding them thru yelp. :)

680 dollars for just about nothing. 125 dollars to pull out a little beeper locator, clear lack of expertise. Pretty much 680 dollars just to stand around. Just a bit of guessing and an up sell on arrival pay 180 dollars and get it back in future repairs! Very disappointed. I am in the trade and Ive never seen such abuse. I call these sorts of contractors predator contractors. I am stuck where I was before I called them. Total rip off.

Still very happy with this company. Just used then for a second time in my air conditioner and they were once again prompt, professional and fair priced.

The technician pulled down each part he was replacing and showed me how it had broken, I was left with no questions and felt confident in the repair.

We have used this company twice. From the moment you speak to the friendly women in the office to the completion of the job it is an absolute wonderful experience. They know the true meaning of customer service and are so incredibly nice and friendly. James is awesome, he detects the problem in seconds, gives a reasonable quote, and finishes the job in a timely manner! He is just amazing! I will never fear calling the plumber again, as long as its Number 1!!

Okay this is going to be long:  In a few words, hire these guys if you need plumbing work done!!

We had a broken black pvc pipe running under our kitchen floor.  In a single level home that means, cutting out cement digging up dirt, tunneling, etc.,

Plus, when they ran the camera they discovered that our main sewer line under the front sidewalk and front of our house had a belly in it which could or could not pose a problem in the future, but we decided to have both fixed if we were going to have a mess.  

So we basically had piping replaced from the back of our house to the main sewer line in our front yard.  

We pulled up flooring and removed everything from one bedroom, plus cut out flooring running down the hallway to the middle of our u shaped kitchen.  and we had to remove the floor of the cabinet under the sink.  Covered much of furniture with plastic and taped the doors shut, etc.,

The guys were very professional --told us what needed to done, what would need to done to make that happen (flooring removal, plastic up, etc) and gave us a good written estimate for the work to be done.  There were a couple of What if's on there so we wouldn't be surprised by anything once they got into the job.  

So the cement cutter guys show up on DAY ONE:   Start working, take a few breaks, another worker shows up mid day to help get the cut cement out and they cleaned up!  It was messy but they made it look so easy!

DAY TWO;  Plumbing guys come in start digging out the trench, while one of them (BILL) cuts out  some area under the kitchen sink to the clean out trap.    By mid day they have  the new pipes in the holes filled in and ready to be cemented the next day.  We were without a sewer pipe for about 10 minutes.  Everyone was very polite and they even sent a guy who said it was his job to make sure I was feeling okay about all the mess, I was okay, cause these guys were awesome!

DAY THREE:   The cement guys show up about 8 am, to get the areas ready,  the cement truck show up about 9:30 AM and they have the job done by 1 pm, with several checks on the cement set up, etc.  

If I had to do it again:   Because the cement cutting uses water, I would have covered the walls much better with plastic and tape, the dry cement does come off, but it takes a few cleanings.  

The best part:  The ESTIMATE was exactly what we paid when they were all done.

I needed a plumber to come look at my garbage disposal and kitchen sink area as I had a leak that was persistently pouring water into the cabinet underneath the sink.  I had looked numerous times and could not seem to find the cause, so I just started looking here on Yelp and picked Number One Plumbing as it had good reviews and was located close to where in live in Las Vegas.

I called and spoke to a polite women who answered the phone, don't remember her name, and she was able to schedule a same day appointment for me between 3p-5p for a plumber to come over and give a FREE estimate for repairs.

I had run out to do a few errands and got a call at 2pm that the tech was running ahead of schedule and that he could get me in early.  Unfortunately, I was out of the house still and could not meet early, so the scheduled time was kept.  I thought it was a nice touch that they called and offered the earlier time.

Roy arrived to my house between the indicated times and was friendly and polite.  He immediately diagnosed the problem as a giant crack in my garbage disposal.  We discussed options, pricing, and he gave me an estimate.  There was no pressure to buy right away as I was not ready to spend that kind of money right at that moment.  I just wanted know what the problem was more than anything.

Roy gave me the estimate and a voucher for $30 (I think) off the service if I decided to go with his company.

I would definitely look into calling this company again if and when I need more plumbing assistance...Hopefully not anytime soon though!  :-)

Mr Rios came out and worked on my Heating and AC unit , that had been down for the last 4 months.  He was very Professional, Informative, with a high level of Customer Service.  The price for replacing the burnt out Transformer was decent and included labor.  I would recommend this company for your heating and cooling needs.

I called Number One for my a/c after reading all the great reviews on here. They were very polite from the first call to the last. They were more than punctual for the appt, they were even early.  The tech Jeremy was great... nice, helpful, explained everything as he thoroughly checked the a/c unit and finally the thermostat, that was, after all, the culprit.  He replaced it with a new one I already had, saving me a small fortune, and I greatly appreciated that.  I was very impressed with this company, something that doesn't happen often in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, we both forgot about my 10%  discount for mentioning Yelp. Oh well, it's okay, cause I'm sure I'll be using them again. Just hopefully not too soon. ;-)

I needed a compressor replaced but wound up going with another company that could do the work sooner for about $200 less.  Also, when I got the estimate, I asked for the Yelp 10% discount that they offer in their posting and I was told they were already giving me a discounted price.  Really?  Why was another company's non-discounted price so much cheaper?   Also, they never told me in advance that they would be charging me for an estimate.  They charged $49 for the estimate, but shouldn't they have told me that upfront?   The second company said they would not charge me for an estimate regardless of whether I went with them.

I'd never had to call a plumber before and didn't know who to call. I did some research and decided to call #1 plumbing. Right from the start the woman on the phone was so professional and nice! She set me at ease. She told me that someone would be out in about 1.5-3 hours and they would call when they were on their way. About 45 minutes later I got a call from Carmine saying he was on his way. He was at my home in about 20 minutes, well before the quoted time. He was very friendly, clean and knew his job very well! He figured out what was wrong, gave me a quote and got it fixed in less than an hour! I am extremely pleased with the service I received and will use them and recommend them to all my friends and family! Thank you #1 plumbing, heating & A/C!!!!

Amazing!  We used their services about 2 years ago, and boy was I glad I remembered their name!  Office was super friendly.  They came right out, didn't have to wait!  Jeremy was amazing!  He fixed our a/c within 20 minutes, and the charge was super reasonable!  Unfortunately the next day I came home to a hot house again.  But it was not through any fault of this company.  They came right back out the next day, and found out it was just a breaker that had tripped.  Jerome was extremely helpful, and thoroughly checked the a/c, again.  No charge!  This is truly an honest company.  Not knowing anything about a/c I could have really been taken.  Thank you, thank you, thank you Number One!  You guys really are #1!

Juan came out to take a look at my ac unit and within five minutes told me my filters just needed to be changed. After telling him that the filters were new, he decided to go up to look at my ac ducts and still said everything was ok. He stated that once I changed my filters the air flow In my house would improve. I saw no change after following expert advice so, I called another company which told me my air ducts were evidently loose. I called and spoke to brittany, the office manager,  to let her know about my dissatisfaction, which was just a waste of my time. I wouldn't reccomend this place to anyone

We had a pressure valve problem-lots of banging when high demand item running (toilet, washing machine).  Roy form #1 was able to come out the same day.  He tried adjusting and working with the existing valve.  He replaced the valve and fixed our problem.  Very nice gentleman, even left the area cleaner than it was before.  Price was definitely fair.  Very Happy!

My mother in law decided to gift us with an annual hearing and cooking inspection and set up our appointment with this company.

(Our heat worked perfectly fine prior to this inspection)

The first visit led the tech to replace one of our thermostats (that turns out didn't need replacing, per the HVAC manager) and we were left to pay $200 for this service.

Everything worked for a day then went back to not running at all.

The third visit occurred when we were out of town and our friend was here to let the technician inside.
 We came home later that day to the upstairs being 95 degrees and downstairs at 75.

The FOURTH visit by their HVAC manager led to him fooling around with things once again, allegedly replacing some parts and another charge of $271.00.

I called the office right away and complained about all the unnecessary chargers and replacements and was able to get some money returned by the not so friendly office manager.

Today our heat is STILL not working and due to our work schedules, we will be without heat for another week until our next set of days off.

If you are ready to be nickel and dimed, be inconvenienced by multiple visits from unqualified technicians, this is your place.  

Next stop, BBB for us.

Donovan (of Number 1 Plumbing &  A/C) came to my house to fix my a/c, and he brought me cool cool peace. I am very appreciative of his fast response and nice attitude. He had to work in terrible hot conditions and not one negative comment was made by him.
He was very gracious and appreciative for the work. His prices were totally fair.  A great experience and I would use him again. Praise the air conditioner repairman!!! Life is so much better with him.

Had an appointment today. The Tech found that the freon had leaked out. Then the pricing structure 850 ish dollars for 6 month warranty to fill freon and test for leaks. Holy crap. I am shocked at how expensive every single hvac place is. Nearly a grand!?!?

These guys came to the house relatively quickly, in a bout 1.5 hours to take a look at a broken hot-water heater.  The quote was $1,100 to replace the heater.  The repairman was dodging clear questions like what is your hourly rate? and what is the part cost?  He didn't want to give me the breakdown for the cost.

He tried to get me to sign a work-order when I requested a written estimate.  After refusing to sign the line that said I agree to have the work done for $1,100, he then asked that I sign a line stating that I agree that the repairs had been completed and that i agree to pay.  I had to say no 5-6 times.

They are also licensed and will require you to bring the water heater up to code, which includes myriad useless changes and installations, like a stand for the heater to get it off the ground, a drip tray, a drip catcher for the gas line, new hoses in and out, new straps to hold it in place, and a new shut off valve.  None of these items are required if you hire a handyman or do the replacement yourself.

When I told him I would tell the homeowner about the cost, he repeatedly pushed me to do the repair immediately, saying things like wouldn't it be nice to have hot water again tonight?  When I stated that we had checked into a hotel he prodded me to to other useless repairs, like replacing the copper fittings and the water shut-off knob, implying erroneously that they would stop the tank from leaking.

When he left he said sarcastically well I sure am glad I made the trip over here, and stormed off, upset that i was not the clueless and fabulously wealthy pushover, desperate for hot water, that he was apparently used to dealing with.  If you want to overpay and you want the repair done quickly, these guys will probably get it done, but you can get the same job done at half the cost if you use someone else.

UPDATE:
The owner contacted me and asked for the name of the man who gave me the estimate, but failed to respond to my reply. His purpose appears only to be an increase in his Yelp-rating.

To be fair, I spent 45 minutes on hold with Home Depot and eventually gave up. These guys picked up the phone immediately and arrived in under two hours, after business hours.

Unfortunately learned the hard way some DYI projects need professionals. I was changing the fill value. Everything was smooth till pinched hose decided had enough. I wanted use different plumbing company then normal one used in the past. Yelp always been great resource for me not only just food. I wanted find local owned smaller company that could support local.

Number One Plumbing was the perfect fit. The initial call with Carolyn. Amazing. I was explaining the situation one that only have myself to blame. She never passed judgement. If anything we shared laugh over my lack of handyman skills. She just delight talk to, we setup date the next day, and she even called next day confirmation.

The time was given they came out in time. Terrel service man was awesome. Initial conversation not only positive vibes, friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. He wore booty in the house and had mask on the whole time. I tend to always ask questions come home repair if have professional fit it. He never got irritated or unwilling to answer any of my questions. In the process he found second leak. He clearly explained my options and went ahead got the work done. In the end very HAPPY with the work done. I would highly recommend Number One Plumbing if need plumbing work done!

There is no way to know if they have fair pricing or not before you hire them.  They will not give you a ballpark estimate (I wasn't going to hold them to the estimate; I just wanted a general idea of approximately how much it would be so I could call around and make sure I was getting a fair deal) over the phone.  They will charge you $49 to send someone out to take a look at the issue, and they will only waive that if you decide to hire them.  So if they come out and quote you something WAY more than any other company, you either have to pay them $49 to not hire them, or you have to pay them WAY more than any other company.

I was looking forward to getting home after a long day but when I walked into the house, I immediately felt warm temperature. I ran upstairs to see if the central AC was on and yes it was, but it was blowing warm air. Oh no, I thought! Please, not now, it has been over 100 degrees and it will only get worse. I waited until the morning to call as I do have a portable air conditioner that I could use for instances like this, but when it's over 100 degrees outside, the portable ac that I have will only cool the room, that it is in, down to about 82 degrees.

I called Thursday morning and spoke with Rachel. I told her about the issue with my AC and she said the earliest a tech could come out would be Friday. I was fine with that. A couple of hours later I get a phone call from Rachel and she asked if it would be OK to have a tech come out the same day, but I told her I wouldn't be home until later so we decided to just stick with Friday. But then I get another phone call from a gentleman who asked me if I would be home around 5 and I said yes, and he said he could get a tech out around then. I was sooo happy to hear that since I really wanted my AC fixed.

Raphael, the technician, called me around 4:30 to confirm that I would be home. He came at 5:00, he asked me a few questions, and went right to work. After diagnosing the problem, he came back, and told us what was wrong, what needed to be done, and the cost to have it repaired. I agreed to the repair. About ten minutes later he was done! I believe he was here for a total of thirty minutes and my central air conditioning unit is now working and blowing cold air. Happy dance!!!

Before he came over, I did a little research online to give me an idea of what the cause and cost might be to have it fixed, and I thought the price that they charged me was reasonable.

I give them five stars because they really understand the importance of having a working AC in this heat. I highly recommend this company and I will definitely be using them again.

I am NOT recommend this company at all!!!!!!!   I saw the reviews say the people is nice on the phone call.... I am very disappoint it.  I called in today (6/10) at 9:52am and ask to make an appointment for my house AC repair today if possible.  A lady said it will be for tomorrow, and only can choose AM or PM because they will call at 4-6 pm the day before to confirm to the customers.  So I told her I will call back later because need to make sure someone can be at home tomorrow.  At 11:59, two hours later I call again, and said I need to make an appointment for tomorrow.  First she told me ok so I gave her my name, and phone number.  And then the next minute she put me on hold... And when she  back, I told her I wanna AM.  And then I'm on hold again.... Second time when she back I said again I would like in the morning.  and then she said: tomorrow is full and it will be at wednesday.  I was so mad.  So I said to her: You were say tomorrow is available that's why I gave you my info.  and now you say it will be on Wednesday... And she said: I thought you had an appointment.  I said : NO... I told you I need to make one.. She said: well, I had been told tomorrow appointment is full, it will be available at the day after tomorrow so Wednesday will be the day to making appointment.  OMFG.....Anyway cuz Vegas today is 100 Fahrenheit so I still make the appointment with her.... The house inside is GOD DAMN HOT!!!!!  I still making an appointment at Wednesday Am... And guess what, I'm on hold again........   AWWWWWWW............. And third person pick up the phone and ask anything she can help......  I was wanna laugh and say never mind.... But I was thinking the appointment is almost done... So I told her someone is helping for the appointment..... Of course, I'm on hole again.....T.T.............. When she back... Finally... My appointment has been set up.......
I think sometime is bad ideas to call the popular company.... When they get busy....they might unable to keep the same customers service to everyone.  No matter it is good or bad review, it all represented the whole company.   I already cancel my appointment because I don't wanna more trouble.  Hahaha... I am very impressed with Number One and Steve, the manager.  I needed someone to  come out to my rental property to check over my nonworking heating system for my renter.  They were the second company I called.  The first company (which I won't name) told me I needed a complete new central air/heating system.  Granted the system is old but they just didn't give me confidence about their inspection.  I wanted a second opinion and called Number One.  They were out within an hour of my call and up on the roof.  They found some loose wires and that the system had not been put back together from the first company's inspection!  They attached the wires, checked the system at the thermostat, and called us with complete info on what they found.  NO CHARGE for service call.  The system is now working and I will not hesitate to call Number One in the future for a/c, heating and plumbing needs for my rentals and my own home.

Called at 12:30pm on 11/10/14, spoke with Nicole for about 5 minutes to see if we could get a technician out to my mothers house to fix her AC/Heater and she was able to assist, I also asked if there was a quote fee for the tech to come out and they said because we were new customers it would be free. She said the tech would be there within the hour since he was available at the time and would call prior to coming over. About 45 minutes later Jerome was at our door with a smile! He did not call but was at the house under an hour so that was fine. He asked if we knew what kind of system we had (Aqua Flo/Therm?) and said he was very familiar with that type of system, then he dug around in our attic & checked the hot water system for about 45 minutes and gave us a quote of $400. $400 was what we paid when my friends (now defunct) HVAC company replaced it (the part) a few years ago so that price seemed fair. We could've shopped around and had another tech from #1 come back as there was absolutely no pressure to take the offer, (he actually asked if we still knew the tech and started explaining where the tech could buy the piece to install it for us if we did) he was friendly, honest, and explained a bunch of questions about our A/C system to my mom after he was done replacing it, made sure the house was starting to warm up & that we were happy with our experience before he left. Oh and Jerome actually said they were having a special and the cost was actually $330 total out the door. Wonderful!

Excellent service. Albert came out on a Sunday night to fix our A/C. We noticed water dripping from upstairs through our ceiling. The unit drain upstairs was clogged. Albert fixed it quick and explained how to prevent it in the future. Number One is #1!

I only call Number One for plumbing and HVAC. I've used them for nearly 4 years. Total trust and know that they have knowledgable plumbers. I always request Roy if I need a plumber. He is respectful, knows his stuff, works quickly and properly, and trustworthy.  Roy will make sure the job is done correctly and not rush through to get to the next job. And I haven't met a technician I was not happy with. They all go out of their way to make sure the job is done properly and that I am satisfied with their work. Highly recommend them!

We have a service contract with another company.  When they were bought by a bigger company, our semi-annual checks started turning into sales pitches and we no longer trust their recommendations or estimates.

I called Number One Plumbing, Heating & AC to get a second opinion on some furnace issues the other company discovered.  This morning their technician Donavan came exactly on time.  He spent about 30 minutes at my home checking my two furnaces and reported back to me that everything looked fine and no repairs or part replacements were necessary.  He then wiped off the dirty fingerprints on the attic access that the last guy left behind.  And NO CHARGE for the service call - WOW!  

You can bet I will be calling these guys back in the future.

Great company! I used them several years ago for an emergency AC fix at a rental property. Last month when the hot water heater flooded our garage, I knew I could count on Number One. I called at about 7am, and had a brand new water heater installed by 2pm! The technician, Aiden, was prompt and professional. I spoke with Nicole to schedule and she was also very helpful and was able to provide pricing info over the phone.

Last week I also used Number One to replace a non-functioning water softener. Service manager Antwan suggested a salt-less Nuvo system, and technician Roy came out and installed it the same day. So far it's working great, it's wonderful to have soft water again.

When I called in for a free estimate I must admit in scheduling the appointment I probably wasn't the easiest customer (how about this day - how about this time). They were very patient with me and worked with my schedule. Roy is the name of the gentleman that came out to look at my leak, I can't say enough good things about him. He was very polite, informative, professional and seemed to care. One would be hard pressed to find this sort of service anywhere. I am glad I read all the reviews before choosing.

What can I say...10 out of 10!  First talking to Nicole was just a pleasure.  Really didn't know what the part for the outside that was broken, bingo there she was with the name pressure vacuum breaker.  She put be on hold for 2 minutes... called Roy (who was only terrific) who was on other job and said he be there in about an hour! Thanks, Nicole!  Roy showed up in an hour, identified the problem and fixed it.  Roy's the guy you want when you talk to Nicole.  Courteous, informative and the price was reasonable.  Wasn't there to take advantage!  Great company to deal with.  Remember seniors 10% discount!

After reading all of the great reviews on Yelp, I really, really wanted to just love #1 Plumbing and make them my go to vendor for all of my plumbing and a/c needs.  Like everyone else, I've experienced problems with the hard sell and being taken advantage of.

Unfortunately, I am not able to do that.  I've even used them twice in the last month to fully test them out.  At the end of the day, they are no better than the other companies out there.  Maybe just a little nicer about it.

My first call with them was to get a new hot water heater.  I have a 50 gal gas hot water heater that's been on the fritz for the last year where I have to constantly re-light the pilot to hot water and I was getting tired of it.

I priced it out at Lowes to be $925.24 all in.  It breaks down to $430.24 with tax for a 6 year 50 gal gas water heater; $99 installation; $118 additional install charge to get it up to code; $104 for parts; $54 for the permit here in Henderson, and $140 to re-pipe the circulation pump that's on the heater.

I then called Number One and the office people passed my number onto Carmine who called me right back.  I told him exactly what I wanted including the re-piping to make sure that I got an apples to apples quote.  He quoted me $950 which was close enough to Lowes to give the business to Number One and I felt with them, based upon the Yelp reviews, that there weren't going to be any surprises.

When he got to the house, I realized that the circulation pump was on my other water heater.  When I asked him what it would cost now that it doesn't have to be re-piped, Carmine, says that it's the same price since they don't charge extra for it.  But he did give me the Yelp discount which made it $855 which is still about $70 more expensive than Lowes but since he was there already I went ahead with it.

When I mentioned to Carmine at the end of the install about how Lowes was going to be cheaper, he started going off on Lowes complaining about how they use Mexican labor and that their water heaters are manufactured overseas.  He boasted about using a Michigan made water heater, Bradford White.  But, If you look up the ratings of Bradford White on Amazon, they are pretty horrendous - all in the 1-2 star range lasting about 6 years.

Today, I had Number One out to my house again, this time for an A/C problem.  One of my units was blowing hot air.  Donovan, the technician came and he was on time arriving at 8am.  He did a few tests and determined that the fan motor was going out and I concurred having replaced 4 fan motors in the last 3 years as I own two houses with 7 A/C units here in Henderson and fan motors do fail quite frequently in this desert heat.

I was quoted a rate of $513.02 but since I was a repeat customer I could get a 10% discount and pay only $461.70.  And I couldn't combine that discount with the Yelp discount.  I went ahead and did it just out of convenience as I'm having a bunch of guests coming later this week and didn't want the hassle of dealing with other companies.  Out of all of the fan motors that I've replaced in the last 3 years, this was definitely the most expensive having paid anywhere from $250-350 previously.

While Donovan was installing the fan motor, he left the new part box out, so I decided to look up and see how much the hard cost was.  It was an AO Smith 1/4hp, 1.4A, 1075 RPM motor, manufacturer part number FSE1026SV1.  It was being sold for $87.75!!!!  And that price is retail, not wholesale.

Donovan left my house at 843a after he completed the paperwork and I paid him.  Even if you were to throw on $30 for shipping and using the retail pricing, Number One made a $344 gross profit for about 45 minutes of work!! and that was with the discount!!

Don't let Number One's niceness fool you.  You're definitely paying for it.

I can't imagine a more responsive, honest and friendly service provider in the city. My upstairs was 90* (outside was 117*) and I turned to Yelp for help. They were ranked #3, yet the only provider able and willing to help me. 24hours later my upstairs was on its way down to a cool78*. Cost?  Nothing. The problem was so minor they didn't charge me a dime. I'm still in shock. Call this company first!  The guys are prompt and polite. They call to confirm and when they're on the way. They even wiped their feet before they entered the house.

I have no idea why they have so many decent reviews, probably all fake. My air conditioning compressor in my apartment went out a month ago and #1 fixed it within a few days, a couple days later in stopped working, fixed again next day, stopped working a week later, ended up working again by the time the tech could come although it was delayed since they said they need my landlords permission to come, really? It is not like its going to cost them anything, its obviously a bad compressor/install. Stopped working again last night. Wont' return voicemails or answer phone. Very frustrating, it is 96 degrees inside.

They list their service as 24/7. I've left countless unanswered messages and tried calling in countless times. They have a different extension for new customers and existing, they probably don't want to pick up existing customers phone calls after hours.

Going to be tough to sleep tonight. All this within 1 month.

Update: I actually just read more of their reviews, they have a huge amount of 1 star reviews with similar issues. I guess that explains it. Always sort by lowest review first and then go with another company.

I needed minor repair/upgrading on the valve and tubes on my water heater.  The customer service on the phone was courteous and quick.  The technician Carnine, called before he came out to the house and arrived in the time frame specified.  He is very knowledgeable and got the job done in a very timely manner.  I definitely recommend # 1 Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning and I would will call them again if I am in need of their services in the future.  Thank you!  Don't forget to mention you found them on Yelp to receive your discount.

I'm always a bit cautious when it comes to having repairs done at the house.  You just never know if they're going to try to tell you more is wrong than what really is and take our hard (well the hubby's) earned money.  

Today, they came over for our requested free quote and let us know our AC motor was replaced with a motor that is used for an inside unit, not for an outside unit that we have sitting OUTSIDE our house.  This was done by previous owners who did seem to do a lot of bad at home projects that we find sporadically.  (All our door frames have about 2 - 3 inches taken off the bottom.)  

The repair price was very reasonable (repair the wires and box, changed the fuse) and let us know not to run the air when it's raining.  Lucky for us (or not so lucky), it doesn't rain much during the summer here in Vegas.

The guys were great and told us exactly what the problem was and got the work done.  They didn't seem to be in the business of trying to up-sell or getting us to pay crazy amounts of money for simple (although neither of us would even know how to get into the HVAC) repairs.

So now our AC blows nice, icy, cold air and we can now wear some snow jackets and use heated blankets in our house! WOOOOO!

This is the third time that #1 Plumbing has come to our rescue.  We have used them for air conditioner repair in the past.  Always lowest price, fast service, and reliable workmanship.

This time the garbage disposal was on its last leg, right at the Holidays.  We called another company that advised us to go buy the disposal from the local hardware store ($150) and call them back for a $90 house call.

#1 Plumbing sent Bill out immediately for a FREE estimate.  He gave us a $190 estimate (see much more reasonable).  He had the garbage disposal with him.  AND Bill found a leak under the sink, replaced a washer at no additional cost.  Full Service at its best !  :-)

Called them out on a Sunday to service a hot water tank that would not light. Responded quickly, showed up on time, and fixed the problem in a few minutes. The tech found that it just needed cleaning (dust had built up on ignitor. Then when I asked how much I owed him he said Nothing. WOW made my day. Now thats service. I was impressed. Its hard to find good service and I am thankful that Number one plumbing is impressive. I would call them without hesitation again.

Ok, I have used these guys probably 5 times and am just now getting around to writing a review.  They have been nothing but top shelf for us consistently.  We have called them several times over the last few years for AC and for heat, and they have always been courteous, helpful, informative and honest.  The very first time I called them was for AC, and the tech came out and explained everything to me and it turned out we had a bad capacitor.  The charge to replace it was fairly reasonable (for a call out AC service) but the tech was clear about the actual cost of the parts and did not try and justify the fact that they have to charge more than you could replace the parts for in a store.  Overall very reasonable and as I said, they took the time to explain what was being done and why, and what to look for in the future with a similar issue.

We actually had another problem a few weeks later, and it turned out that the capacitor they replaced turned out to be faulty after they came out.  No charge for the replacement (obviously) and no charge even to come out and diagnose the problem again or anything.  Quick and easy replacement.

Third time we called was when our heater went out, and they came out and checked everything and explained that the blower motor that circulated the air was out.  The tech took the time to explain how we could replace it ourselves, wrote down all the parts and numbers we would need and explained the time and cost involved if we wanted to have them do the work.  They were very upfront about it and there was no BS high pressure lies about needing a whole new X or completely replacing Y etc.  They were straight up about the options and when we decided to try and replace it ourselves, they were very helpful in giving us the info needed to do it, while explaining what it would cost should we need them to do it.  Finally, we were able to do it and saved a couple of hundred bucks by buying the parts ourselves and spending SEVERAL hours fixing it.  

Most recently, we called because our AC stopped blowing out any air, and the tech came out and checked the unit, and inquired about if we replaced the blower ourselves last time.  After I explained we had, he checked with his home base about any other past calls and service history and did a few tests.  He informed us that the capacitor on the blower motor (different from the condenser outside that we replaced previously) was bad, and the blower motor fan was rubbing against the housing, most likely because when we replaced it, we did not quite get it tight enough, so it had slid down out of place a little.  He informed us that the motor was likely still good and that we just needed to reinstall it and replace the capacitor again.  Again, the tech was honest and upfront and basically said we should just replace it ourselves since we did fine the first time and could just replace the part and reinstall the motor tighter this time.  He also explained what it would cost if we needed or wanted them to do it as an option.  The most amazing part was that for that service, they did not even charge us.  No charge to come out, test it and explain the options, and then no high pressure nonsense.  I felt solid about trusting the information because they were not charging me anything anyway and had no reason to lie or give me some you need a $9000 flux capacitor nonsense like some places.  Ultimately we spent an hour and about $13 for a new cap and fixed it ourselves.  

Overall, they have always been top notch for us with HVAC stuff, and always seemed honest and been upfront with information and assistance.  Yes, they charge pretty normal prices for work, but it is specialized info and skill, just like a lawyer or doctor, so if you can't do it, expect to pay.  The thing that sets them apart for us is that we never feel like they are lying about what needs to be done and never feel like we are being ripped off.  I would absolutely not hesitate to use or recommend them to anyone for HVAC.  5 stars.

My A/C stopped working suddenly so I called #1 because of Yelp. I have used Elite and some of the other Major companies, but have not found the perfect, honest and affordable service. I was impressed. The tech, Danny, took his time to explain things to me, only repaired what was necessary, and even taught me a few things! He did not try to up sell me, which is annoying when services do that.

I have found my permanent HVAC company!! Thanks #1 and Danny for incredible service and even the discount!

Based on my experience today, I highly recommend this company. I received a call back within 10 minutes of my message and I later learned it was the owner himself. He dispatched a gentleman plumber named Bill Boileau who fully met all advertised representations of this company. He assessed my two problems and offered me his estimate before proceeding. I had forgotten about the Yelp discount and he reminded me (saved me 10%). I will definitely use this company again and hope all the professionals are as good as Bill.

I had a water heater with a massive leak that even leaked from the garage, all the way into my kitchen.

I called my usual plumber but he was all booked up till the next day and told me he didn't repair water heaters anyway.

Since I've dealt with being ripped off with everything from car mechanics to plumbers and on an on, I figured I'd check out Yelp.

I'm not sure if it made a difference or not, but when I called Number One Plumbing, I told them I promise, if you're guy doesn't rip me off, I'll leave a positive review on Yelp.

**I think this is a smart move, because even if they weren't very honest (which I believe they are, as you will read), then they know you're the kind of person that leaves reviews- so if a business is smart, their going to take good care of you.

**Also I turned off the main water valve, so the leak had stopped for the time being.

Anyway, there was no question I needed a new water heater. The question was How much is it gonna cost me and what if anything else is the plumber gonna try to upsell me on??

Well, when the plumber Roy, arrived about 3 hours after I called (Which was extremely fast considering a lot of plumbers don't even call you back the same day!), he checked out the water heater and found it was rusted through.

He then told me a brand new one would cost $850 installed.

That sounded kind of expensive, but I had no time to waste, so I told him to go ahead and install the new one and while he was installing it, I checked what the going rate was for an new and installed 50 Gallon water heater, and I found rates from $900 to $2000!

So Number One Plumbing charged me $50 less than the cheapest price I could find online!

That works for me.

In addition, he mentioned that although I won't notice a massive difference, this water heater is more energy efficient than the old one, and will save me money in the long run.

All and all, I am very satisfied with this plumbing company and will definitely recommend them to others, and call them for any other issues I may have in the future.

We've had technicians from #1 come out three times, twice for A/C calls and they're always on time and courteous. On the first visit, a year ago, they inspected our a/c units and ensured they were in good working condition (after years of neglect from previous owners) and even gave us some tips on how to take the covers off so we could clean them ourselves and save some money.

They came out again just as we got an excessive heat warning and we began to hear the fan motor having a hard time starting in the mornings. The tech tested all of the capacitors, which were working fine. And at the mid-day time of day when he arrived it wasn't making the noise, so he gave us the all-good.

Less than a week later our fan motor was on it's last leg and we wound up replacing it ourselves, but we appreciate that the tech was able to help us narrow down the actual problem with the unit.

Two more things: these guys are on-time and speedy with their work. They are also fairly priced and won't suggest repairs unless you actually need them and can afford them.

This is going to read as if I am a paid shill of Number 1, however, I most definitely am not. I spoke with Linda in the office and was very professional.  More importantly, she was patient and kind (two elements of professionalism that are often forgotten). She was going to call the service guys and then call me back. She forgot the second part, but I am confident that she would have remembered. I called back about 40 minutes after our initial conversation and I could hear phones ringing off the hook in the background...obviously, these folks stay busy.  She apologized profusely and said she would verify who was coming and when, and call me. Within 5 minutes, she did, indeed, call me.  Moments later, the service guy, Leon, called to tell me where he was so I could gauge when he would be here.  

Leon was amazing.  I was completely freaking out on the inside because I know A/C repairs are expensive. Leon figured out the problem in something like 3 seconds after he removed the panel from my condenser unit. I needed a new capacitor. Totally not a big deal. Phew!  He did tell me that the bearings were going out on the fan, which I know to be true.  He didn't try to sell me a new system.  He did tell me what my options were for when the system needs to be replaced (after I asked), and his opinion was obviously based on his experience as an HVAC tech.  I will be purchasing my upgraded system from Number One.

I also needed a pound of refrigerant, which was no surprise.  As a result of Leon's efforts, I am sitting in a deliciously cool house instead of sweltering in 80+ degrees.

If Leon and LInda are representative of Number One, and I believe they are, then this is a company you can absolutely trust.  No one wants to worry about being ripped off, and there is no need to have that concern when dealing this Number One.  There is a reason that their Yelp rating is so high.

Don't be hot when your A/C goes out in the Las Vegas summer and you KNOW you can't afford an astronomical repair bill.  Just call Number One.  They will take care of you!!!

I have to update my review as I have recently used #1 for their air conditioning services. My upstairs air conditioner wasn't cooling, so I called #1 to have a look. They quoted $1540 to replace a bunch of parts that they said had failed, to do a leak detection, and to clean both units because I was told how dirty they were. Because the price was so high, I decided to get a second quote for comparison. The other company told me I had a freon leak and would cost about $250 to refill it. Because it appears that there is indeed a leak, the other company will also be doing a leak detection and fix, which will cost more but only a fraction of what #1 had quoted. They also said that the units look clean, and really didn't need a thorough cleaning. I've always thought their plumbing services were great, so I'm disappointed that their HVAC service didn't meet my expectations.

I would like to give them 0 stars if possible. This company over charges on everything and is dishonest...taking advantage of honest, elderly people.

The story goes like this...they came to the house for something else but told my elderly mother that they noticed the water heater was not hooked up safely and didn't have a permit. They said it was probably done by a handyman...and yes, it was done by a handyman. Instead of hooking it up properly and getting a permit which they could've easily done...they decide to talk her into buying a 40 gallon water heater for close to $1400. They said it will run more efficiently. At the time my mother was getting chemotherapy in CA so she had explained that no one is really home. Carmine had told her that it would be a better choice because there are only 2 people living in the house and would save her money.

One day we take a bath and there is no hot water for the entire house. I call Carmine and he says of course, you have a garden hose tub...you need a bigger water heater if you want more hot water. Well, if you knew...why did you sell the small water heater?! We had a bigger water heater that still had many years left of warranty that was working properly when they sold the 40 gallon water heater to my mother.

We contacted the State Contractors Board and Number One Plumbing was told that they needed to install water heaters according to code which is the number of bathrooms in the house...NOT the number of people in the house. A 40 gallon water heater is for a small 2 bedroom apartment...my house is 2900 sq. ft. with 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms.

We did not want their services anymore when they offered to come back. We spoke to the owner about getting our money back as well since they lied to my mother who didn't know a thing about water heaters.

We ended up taking them to Small Claims and won a Judgement in our favor. However, Number One Plumbing did not respond to requests of payment or return any calls back even with a Judgement by the Court. Their lawyer contacted me that they will pay $899 out of a Judgement that was close to $2600. The lawyer wrote that Number One Plumbing had financial hardships...their net income was close to $1.8 million in 9 months when I did my research. It really makes you laugh when they charge outrageous prices and say they have hardships because information is readily available if you know where to look. In the end, I looked up who their bond company was and sent a letter to them requesting payment for the Judgement I had won.

Their lawyers contacted me immediately and said they were ready to pay the full amount since they would have problems renewing their bond.

This company is dishonest and I would not recommend them to anyone. Use them if they are the only plumbers on the planet!

My kitchen faucet was leaking. I reviewed Plumbing Services on Yelp. The reviews for Number One Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning were very good. I noticed that several reviews mentioned Roy and his exceptional service. I called Ashley, and set up an appointment, and requested Roy. The morning of my appointment, Roy called to let me know he was on his way. He arrived on time, and was able to repair my faucet in a timely manner. I am very happy with the service I received from Roy. I will use Number One Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning in the future and recommend them to friends and family. The entire experience was a pleasant one. Thanks Ashley for your assistance in setting up the appointment and thank you Roy for your professionalism and great service.

I am the tenant in my home. I was doing repairs on both the toilets in my home. When I got to the master bath toilet; after removing the toilet I noticed the TOILET FLANGE  was all rusted and needed replaced. I called my property manager and told him. He contacted Number One Plumbing and they sent a guy right over.. took awhile but he did show up. He looked for about 5 minutes and said he would be back in the morning. The plumber showed up with another guy to do the work... now keep in mind that I had already disconnected and removed the toilet for them. All they had to do is replace the flange and remount the toilet. I even had all the parts except the flange already there. They did the job in about 2 hours (MAYBE) used my caulking and was done. Come to find out they charged the owner of the house over $500.00 with discounts to do the job.

I would recommend getting prices up front and even a 2nd bid before using this company. Way over priced (my brother is a plumber for a highly established company in another state and I talked to him about it) and charge for parts the customer buys...

Number One came to my house to repair a non-functioning heater.  We have two units, one for the rear of the house, one for the front, and the one for the rear of the house needed the repair.  They come to the house, tell me I need a new control panel, install it and leave.  So far, so good right?  Fast forward two or three weeks and it gets cold again, so I turn on the heater.  Nothing.  Naturally, I called Number One to come back out and see what the problem is.  The tech immediately goes to the wrong thermostat and starts fiddling with it.  I tell him he's looking at the wrong thermostat, he tells me he's not.  Turns out they 'fixed' the unit that WASN'T BROKEN.  Somehow, their amazingly competent tech ignored the broken unit and installed a control panel on the unit that controlled the front of the house instead of the broken one that controlled the rear.  Instead of acknowledging and correcting his mistake, he spends about 30 minutes trying to convince me that I have no idea where my house is cold and the problem was with the front unit, frigid bedroom be damned.  It was my nice and toasty living room that needed help.  He backs up his claim by showing me a picture of the nice new control panel he installed on the unit, apparently not understanding that the problem isn't that they installed a new panel, it's that they installed it on a unit that WASN'T BROKEN.  It worked before he got here, worked when he left.

He calls the office, and the office also refuses to take responsibility for their absolutely brain-dead mistake, so I had to call Legacy Air, which apparently DOES hire competent people, to come and fix the rear unit.  So that's the story of my experience with Number One HVAC.  If you hire them, you had better be prepared to go into the attic with them, or maybe tape a big sign on the broken unit saying 'THIS ONE HERE!'.  Otherwise they'll fix something that isn't broken, won't stand behind their work, and you'll end up having to call another company to repair what they were supposed to repair.  And Number One, please please please respond to this post.  I'd LOVE to hear your excuses.  Because I personally can't imagine how you would even attempt to justify such incompetent work and poor business practices.

I think these guys are great! Sometimes it seems difficult to find honest folks in HVAC and Number One has been great from minute one.

I thought they did a great job servicing my HVAC and gave sensible recommendations (I had some issues with some of my filters).

After they came the first time, I signed up for their regular check-up program. It's now some months later, and I just got a call from them to schedule my next checkup! I like how they kept track of that and took the initiative to call me. Otherwise, I probably would have forgotten!

Called #1 Plumbing.. regarding a rental.  They gave a 3 hr window to tenant yesterday then changed to a midnight yesterday or 4pm today with tenant.  Then they just called tenant and said they can not come out until Tuesday.  Besides an upset tenant, they never called me, the customer to inform me.  Instead I have to hear from an irate tenant.  Poor customer service!!

Pleased with this service. Always weary of any type of repair services, since you are really at their mercy when it comes to diagnosing. The repair tech who came out was prompt and most importantly honest. When he discovered what the problem was, he was able to repair it on the spot. He also checked into the part's warranty, giving me a discount...which he didn't have to do.

After calling 3 difference companies, Number One were the only one that had the least wait time for our broken A/C in the middle of summer. We called on Monday morning and they were able to send a technician out that night at 8 pm. When the technician came, he determined it was our blower motor that was the problem and told us they will have to order the parts for it. It will take couple days, the repair will probably get done on Wednesday and they will call us on Tuesday to let us know the time.  They told us the repair will be between 11 am - 2 pm on Wednesday. The repair guy pulled up in U-haul(?) and after going up to the attic to check out the blower told us he needed to go get more parts for it and will be back in the afternoon.

Come 5 pm... still no sign of the guy so we called them back and they had to call us back and track down the repair guy. The receptionist called back and said he will be back soon. Come 7 pm, still no sign. So I called again. And they told me they are on their way. The guys did not show up until 8:45 pm. Took them about 30 minutes for the repair.

In the end, yes my A/C was repaired in a timely manner. I understand summer is the busiest time for them. My issue is the lack of communication. We were waiting and waiting and not knowing what's going on and had to keep calling them back. Also we never got a receipt for the repair which they said they would email us..

Jessica was a pleasure to talk to and extremely helpful.  They were able to send a repairman out the very same day for an emergency plumbing situation.  I broke the hose bib in the back yard off the pipe trying to replace it myself.  The copper pipe tore in half and I did not know what to do.  Panicked,  I called Number one plumbing due to the good reviews on yelp and they immediately sent their technician Roy to my home.  He was fast at repairing it, within 5 minutes it was good as new.  The replacement bib was high quality and no leaks.  These guys know what they are doing, and they are great at what they do.  I will definitely hire them again in the future.  Very happy and very thankful they were able to save the day and we got our water turned back on within hours of my little screw up.  Highly recommended.

My A/C went out on this July 4th weekend, I called Number One and they returned my call within the hour.  I was given a time frame of between 1000am-100pm, and the technician on the call was going to be Byron.  Byron called me shortly after 1000am to advise me that he was minutes away.  Upon his arrival I told him some of the things the A/C was or was not doing.  He isolated the problem within minutes and answered some of our concerns about our 16 year old unit.  He did not try to sell us or create a bigger situation than it really is.  He was honest and he represented himself and the company very well.  I will certainly call them in the future and refer them to friends and family.

I had a toilet that wasn't flushing and our main line was backing up. I made a call late Sunday afternoon, and bright & early Monday morning John & Quan showed up. They were extremely professional, kind and fair. They snaked the line, and within no time, everything was back in working order! It's one thing to have good quality work, it's another thing to have an awesome staff. In all honestly, the lady who answered my call on Sunday Caroline, I believe was her name.. was so nice and accommodating that I felt I didn't need to call another company. Glad I went with my gut. You won't be disappointed if you use this company!

I called about a month ago to have my AC checked out because my fan in my unit was not working. Donavan the tech (super nice guy and knowledgeable) came out, fixed the duct capacitor within minuets. He warrantied the piece and it was around $200. I'm a 22 year old girl who was scared she would have been ripped off due to the fact of not knowing anything about AC repair. The price seemed fair anyways so I went through with it.  Yesterday about a month and a half later my AC went out again I called to schedule a appointment again for them to come out.  Donavan was the tech that came out the next day with another gentleman.  Took them about 5 minutes to figure out that it was the same duct capacitor that went bad.  They put a new one back in and was done super quick FOR FREE.  This company has been a lifesaver and I made a yelp account just to review and say how happy I am with their service.   I will be calling them for any future repair ill need and will be referring them to others.

I've had 4 total appointments (3 for AC checks and 1 for plumbing) with #1 and couldn't be more satisfied. Honesty is a big deal when dealing with service industries and this company is right on point with that. If your AC is good to go for the summer, they'll tell you this and won't try to sell you unneeded parts and services. I'll definitely call them when I'm in a pinch but at the bare minimum, it's great to have peace of mind that my AC is in good running order for the summer. Highly recommended!

I do give a lot of five star reviews, but only when they are well deserved.

Used these guys for the first time to fixed some badly badly clogged drains. Everything went exactly how they had told me over the phone. They called my right away after I put in a request on their website, and they called to confirm an appointment time the day after. My plumber, was Bill, he was exactly on time, professional, and so very nice. He was in and out with everything fixed in under an hour.

No hidden or extra fees for an estimate, just the cost of the repair.

I set up a service call for my AC through my home warranty company at 10 pm Thursday. My repair was given to Number One and I was to expect a call Friday morning.
I got the call early Friday morning saying that they were booking repairs out for the next day and that I would get another call by end of the day letting me know the time window in which they would arrive. This is so understandable as living in Las Vegas, AC's run 24/7 in the summer.
They did call me in the afternoon and said they would be coming out between 7 am and 10 am. So we camped downstairs with the kids one more night. The kids love camping out in the living room!
At 6:35 am Saturday, I received a call from Donovan, the HVAC tech. He said he was on his way. Wow! Awesome! He was very polite, quick, to the point and replaced the capacitor. Within an hour of his call, our AC is blowing cold again! :)

Even though I did not choose Number One to come out, as they were assigned to my repair by my home warranty company, I will keep them in mind for future repairs and refer them to my friends, especially through my work as an educator in the CCSD. Thanks again Number One!
Now I'm off to enjoy my Saturday if I could get our four kids up! :)

So, for the last two years, my air conditioning unit has been threatening to die. We've had several companies out to repair it, but, alas, it became obvious that it was time to replace it.

We called out the company that replaced our upstairs unit, and we called out Number One. We compared prices, we compared Yelp reviews, and we compared the vibe we got from both companies. While the latter two categories helped push our decision toward Number One, the fact that they came in $2,400 cheaper than the other company certainly didn't hurt, either. Their technicians, Steve and Gabe, came out, did a very professional job, left everything neat and clean, and were polite, courteous, and simply a pleasure to work with throughout the process. The gentlemen who came out to give the initial quote were good, too, but, unfortunately, I can't remember their names. (My fault.)

They are my new HVAC company of choice.

Once more, this company is my go to for plumbing issues. Roy the plumber arrived early, trouble shooted my issue with water pressure, and was no charge due to estimate status call. My home flooded twice last year, wish I had  called them then. Will not make that mistake again. When ready to install water filtration system, I will be using this company.

Best costumer service I have ever received. After calling at night after hours, I was surprised to have a real person answer instead of a machine. They scheduled me for the next morning. I received a call 30 minutes prior to my appointment to confirm and Carmine arrived on time.

I had an issue were the builder had done some, not so good, piping work. Carmine was able to pinpoint the issue and had the proper equipment to fix the issue. He was extremely friendly and highly knowledgeable. He even went to my neighbors homes to check their piping and inform them about my issue. One of my neighbors informed us he was having the same issue.

They gave me a fair price and I will definitely use them again if I ever have any plumbing issues.

He came out to work on the sewer lines.  He ran a camera down the line and found I had a root growing and obstructing the pipe.   He was able to tell me it was 9 feet from the toilet down in the line.  He was able to cut it and it has been working fine since then.  If the problem returns he said he could jet the line and that will remove obstructions by high water pressure.

Number One Plumbing did a fantastic job replacing our water heater. Roy Woods was the professional who helped me. He tightened everything up first to make sure it wasn't just a leak. When it continued to leak he informed us that it needed replaced. He had a unit in his truck! I had to go to work and my wife was stuck in traffic so he said he would come back in the evening or in the morning if it was more convenient! Very professional, quick and polite. I would recommend Roy and Number One to anyone needing plumbing services.

As luck would have it, my air conditioning unit went out in April.  The start of the hot season in Las Vegas! I know from a past experience that it can get as hot as an oven in my house without AC during the summer months. So, my first call was to  one of the big air conditioning repair companies named One Hour listed in the yellow pages, who immediately responded and charged me an arm and leg to come out and diagnose; and then tell me that I needed an entirely new AC system in my 6 year old home....which was to cost about $10k . WTH!!!

Thank goodness, I talked to my neighbor who recommended Number One plumbing, heating and air conditioning.  Gave them a call on a Sunday afternoon, he quickly returned my call and gave me the run down of what he thought the problem might be....turns out he was right and repair it.  The cost was $2800. If you have good eyes like me, you can see that I saved $7800 by going with Number One.
Steve, the general manger was professional and quick.  My unit was fixed within the schedule time.  He gave me a free estimate prior to any start of work so I was able to decide on what company to go with.  
This is a great company to go with if you ever need any kind of AC service...you'll be happy and cool.

This is the ONLY service that I have had a great experience with since moving to Vegas four months ago. Roy the plumber is awesome. I've used him twice. Soooo nice and he goes above and beyond.
Update-
So now my air conditioning decided the day it was 102 degrees to stop working.  Jeremy came to the rescue and now my house is polar again. I had called after hours (someone is always there as they answer 24/7) and he said first appt. was Friday. This was Tuesday, so I cried like a 40 year old baby and they fit me in the very next day. THANK GOD.  This company is the best. I wish they did more things!

This plumping company is awesome, I bought their yelp coupon and showed it to the tech he took it and honored it.
I understood that I needed the coupon in hand to show proof,I even called the office to make sure and the girl told me yes just have the coupon with you for your  tech. This company was so easy they came did there job right. And honored there coupon. Awesome right!
