If you need any AC work call these guys. Needed some warranty work done on my AC and they were out here within a couple hours. Henery was fast in diagnosing the problem and had the part same day. After completing the work, Henery took the time to go over steps to prevent future problems and overall AC maintenance. Couldn't be more pleased with the service.

I had Daniel's Plumbing out again, and I'm pleased to say they did an excellent job (again!). It was a pinhole leak in the wall, and while they were out here, I asked them to install a new shower valve. The first team ran into a couple of roadblocks. The next day Mike L. showed up and did a beautiful and expert job of finishing the leak repair and the shower install! I highly recommend this company and would cheerfully use them for any plumbing project. Fox Service provided quick, dependable service done by professional experts at a reasonable price.

After getting an astronomical bid from Radiant Plumbing for $1,600.00 to replace our  Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) at our home  we called Fox Service.  The next day,  Bryan and his helper Pedro came to our home with the same diagnosis but the price was significantly lower.  They were both awesome.  They did the work in record time and got our pressure problems under control.  I asked Bryan to look at some other issues in the house and he happily obliged.  We will be using Bryan and Fox Services for all of our plumbing needs from on.

This is a really professional home service firm.  They excel at helping with Texas critters that enjoy visiting my horse on the lake.  The ABC team is first class.  The customer rep Michael Kiefer gives great advice about these Texas critters and is very knowledgeable about the proper remedies to resolve these types of issues.  I recommend this firm

After some shoddy plumbing work on a sink in my parent's house came unhooked in the drywall (the pipes were TAPED together ), Chris and Toby came out to make the repairs. They were professional, quick to respond, and did a quality job with the repairs. Plumbing is always pricey, but the quote seemed reasonable given the amount of work. Thank you, Lantz Plumbing!

I just had 1st Plumbing Services come to give me an estimate on what I thought was a simple task (remove a water softener from my house's input water line). I can do this job in less than 2 hours. 1PS wanted $429.34 to do what they estimated to be a 1-1.5 hour job. YIKES! When I complained about the excessive fee, they brought it down to only $388.34. I guess times have changed, but I didn't know that plumbers (with company overhead) now go for a rate of $250-300/hour. I paid my $45 fee for the service call, and cut my losses.

By the way, if you want a good independent plumber in Austin who works for a reasonable hourly charge, and charges minimal overhead (e.g. travel), then I recommend Gilbert at Blue Dragon Plumbing.

UPDATED: I finally received my rebate check, so I'm updating this from one to four stars. Again, the actual service technicians deserve five stars. Hopefully the office staff is working out the kinks.

I want to be clear that I have absolutely no complaints about the service technicians I have dealt with so far. That part of my experience with this company has been excellent. They had me scheduled for a new AC unit at a competitive price the very next day after I called, showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves, talked to me about maintenance, all the good stuff. I purchased a maintenance agreement and had my first winter service right before Thanksgiving, and couldn't have asked for a more positive experience. Sadly, however, I can't recommend them due to the runaround I have been getting regarding my rebate. The unit was installed in June, and we are in December, and I have received no rebate, which was part of the deal, nor can I get any information on status. I have called numerous times and am always told they will have to research and call me back. After getting an inspector out in October (4 months after installation), I thought maybe we were on the right track, but since, I have gotten no where. I can't even get an enrollment number to check status online myself. I feel like the ball was dropped somewhere and no one wants to take responsibility and admit it to me, which is a shame, because the service technicians deserve better representation by their office staff.

A few days ago, I wrote a pretty bad review. Since then Dayton has worked very hard to make me a satisfied customer. The problem was not all their fault, but rather the fault of an over zealous home inspector who led me to believe that the work had not been performed properly. Dayton came back out and verified that the a/c was indeed working as it should have been, wrote a detailed report for the buyer of my condo, and all ended well. So, my apologies to Dayton.

lFor installation of a residential Generac backup generator, Kasey came right out and did a thorough evaluation of power needs, location, and assessment of current electrical configuration of existing solar panels, etc. He was very knowledgeable and informative. After we signed a contract, the installation crews came out after city permits, etc. Tim and his crew of electricians were also knowledgeable, and informative and got gas and electric conduits trenched and laid in one day. After initial gas inspection they returned promptly to cover trench and finish up, returning after second inspections and did initial start up and answered all questions. I am pleased with the entire project and all of the crews.

We had three appointments set up they didn't show up on one the second one they called in late and said they wouldn't come and now this is the third hopefully they show up today. Bad service

DON'T USE THEIR WEBSITE TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT! They won't honor it. I went to their website and used the very prominent chat client that pops up and overwhelms the screen. The woman identified herself and took all my relevant information, then confirmed me appointment and sent a confirmation text. (My central air went out during a 100+ per day heat wave.) On the morning they were to arrive, they called me and told me they weren't honoring web appointments and that I was going to the back of the line. Scheduler was indifferent, even after admitting it was their screw up. The appointment was made during the week, and had a couple days wait. They pushed me back five more days. It was 105 today, 4 days after my scheduled appointment. My email to the business manager was ignored. On time Elmer--what a joke.
