Best Sink Repair in Indianapolis IN
I thought long and hard about leaving this review considering the owner seems to be somewhat reactive in his responses, but figured I always use yelp to find the best of the best, and my fellow yelpers deserve to know my experience as well.
So here we go. We had a toilet that wasn't filling in our rental. It was Sunday night of all times for this to happen and not something I could hold off until Monday unless my guest didn't use the toilet. So... I checked out yelp to find an emergency plumber in the area. I wasn't sure if it was the shut off valve that was leaking or the fill valve was defective. So, Yes, I could have gone to Home Depot to get the parts which would have totaled about $30 MAX. But, figured I'd get an expert in who could do it quickly. I checked yelp and saw that seriously 24/7 had some pretty good reviews, however several mentions to them being expensive. Like, obscenely expensive. I figured, Aside from the $159 emergency fee, how bad could it really be for parts that cheap? I called and the lady taking my call was pleasant and they got someone out about 1.5 hours later. The cost would be $159 plus any work to be done. The guys who came were friendly enough, and then they hit me with the cost. This is where the I almost fell over. They wanted $587 to replace the fill valve (nothing wrong with the water shut off). Or, they could replace the toilet for me for $1200? Are you actually kidding me? Seriously they were not. Since I already had $159 invested in this, a couple of hours of wait and a renter waiting for me, it didn't make sense for me to then head to Home Depot for my parts on a Sunday night and have it take any more time. For God sakes I could have gotten a whole toilet and a ring and replaced it myself for $150 if I had another hour. Seriously disgusted, I agreed to that price and in 10 minutes my problem was fixed. Oh great, it comes with a year warranty! Awesome, considering I could always replace it for $15 if i needed. (Looked up the exact part at any box store). Glad I have a functioning toilet but don't be like me and think to yourself how bad can it actually be?Because it will be worse. I am leaving this relationship feeling violated, but as a consumer you should know this business uses a predatory pricing scheme.

I hired them in Jan 2016 to fix broke furnace. This cost over $450. Broke again beginning of Sept. (only worked about 6 weeks after repair) I went online to set up a repair service. Online I was given the option of when I would like a call -morning -afternoon- or evening. I chose eve because I was at work. As soon as I sent request they called me 9am...scheduled them to come out next day between 2-5. I was at work and had to have someone go to my house to be there. of course they showed up over an hour early told me my scheduled apt was 1-4.. . Fixed again for over $400. worked 3 days, broke again. Called them 3rd time scheduled appointment again 2-5 let them know that I was not happy they showed up early last time. Again they showed up 1 HOUR before scheduled apt. and tried to convince me that I was wrong with the scheduled time again.... Was given estimate of over $400 I let them know that I have already paid way to much for it not to be fixed and that is when and ONLY them did the guy suggest a new furnace. My furnace is less than 6 years old and if they could not have fixed it I should have been told on first visit. I was in to deep and had to try to get it fixed so I scheduled another apt again 2-5 I made a huge deal to the lady on the phone that they keep showing up early and no one is home and that I was VERY unhappy about it. I made sure that she understood that no one would be there before 2pm! so they showed up for appointment at noon 2HOURS early unbelievable ........ paid AGAIN to have it fixed . It lasted 2 weeks. I had to max out my CC to give them all my money and this does not help my credit to get a loan to get a new furnace with ANOTHER comp. It will be a long cold winter because I made the huge mistake with going with a company that cant even schedule properly and have techs that cant even tell when a furnace cant be fixed until they have made over $1000 off of you. extremely disappointed and cold.

Mike's is fantastic! He's done a number of things at our place, from spa repairs to fixing some faucets and locks. He's a great communicator, timely, and charges a fair price. Highest recommendation.

The shower faucet in one of your bathrooms was stuck with the water turned on. Long story short we could not turn it off and essentially had to turn the main water off to our house. I contacted a couple other plumbers who gave me quotes that were pretty expensive. I contacted Steve at 10 pm not expecting a response. He contacted me within 5 mins, had me send him photos, and the first option he provided me was cost effective and a 1/4 gift price and work of the other quotes I received. While he did offer the same options as the other quotes -which came with a higher price, he assured me it was not necessary. He sent Jesse, who was awesome! My dog loved him too. He knew exactly what to do do, showed me the issue, and had it fixed quickly. Jesse was very polite and had great customer service! He did an excellent job! Honestly I cringe when I think of having any independent contractor come to fix something in my home but Its a relieve to know I can trust Steve Morin Plumbing for all my plumbing needs in the future. Thank you so much!

I would let these guys fix my grandma's plumbing!!!
Recently had to call them during a remodeling project. Super quick response time. Got a text 10 min before they arrived, exactly when they promised. Quickly diagnosed the issue, quoted me the price to fix (which was very reasonable) and finished the job faster than I expected. I would most definitely recommend this business as I will be using them if ever needed in the future.

Very happy with the service. We called them, They quickly came to take a look, diagnosed the problem and were out the door. While the price seemed a perhaps higher than I expected (my job was a big one) it was done quickly, and right. I would recommend Maxwell and sons for any of your plumbing needs, hands down. If you want solid service and it done right, it's worth it to give them a call.

First time we used Big Frog Plumbing based on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. Scott arrived on time and was very pleasant. He came up with a solution that eliminated the need to cut into our drywall. Impressive! We will definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Polite, competent, easy-to-understand technician. He quickly diagnosed a service issue with our PTAC unit, then did a thorough maintenance routine on our HVAC furnace. I particularly appreciated that he fully explained what he found and gave me alternatives for correcting issues. Would definitely recommend!

Great experience with these guys. Super friendly on the phone, and they were extremely professional upon showing up. I had two toilets that kept running and had called a local, supposedly reputable, plumber first. They quoted me $1000 to fix both toilets, and I then had them leave. Weilhammer then shows up and fixes everything for $200, and were a pleasure to deal with. The even replaced everything with new parts. It's nice to have some honest people in the area for this work.
Update: a friend had the same experience with the other company. These guys are a great option for the area.

Jimmie Self with Who's Our Plumber is one of the most honest, fair, diligent, and knowledgeable plumbing contractors I have ever worked with. I have hired Jimmie to work on my own house multiple times, and including 2 slab leaks that required the excavation of a portion of my garage, porch, sidewalk, and the installation of a brand new service line. The company was not only diligent in completing the work, but also great at communicating with the my insurance company directly. I recommend Who's your plumber to all of my real estate clients, friends, and family, and everyone has had an excellent experience related to timely service, pricing, and having their plumbing problem solved.

Literally owe them big time! We had no water on Christmas- until A-Team came and saved the day! Literally felt like they should have had superhero capes on! It was Christmas! I felt horrible that they were missing time from their family. They came and fixed our busted pipe so that we could have water! Not being able to flush toilets and wash hands on Christmas was brutal- so we are very thankful to everyone who was involved. From our family to yours, Thanks a ton!!!!

David was courteous, funny, helpful, and knowledgeable about our plumbing issues. He recommended solutions, worked with me to discover what worked for me and my house, and did a great job in implementing those solutions. Highly recommend.

My only complaint is the Labor cost. I agreed to a quote of 291.00, including parts. Not knowing parts cost until I looked it up later, I feel 275.00 is very high for 45 minute job. Dishwasher Water line replacement . I realize Travel time , is money, yet even allowing an hour for that , still high. Hopes location is about a mile from the job location , should help on travel time.

The only reason I will not give Godby five stars, I'll explain later. Air conditioner went out in my home. Godby has serviced my home before, so I gave them a call. A technician came out, and told me it was the furnace. It was the original furnace that came with the house, so I figured it was time to replace it. The person I spoke with to set up the appointment was very kind and got my appointment set up for the next day. She also gave me a window as to how long the job would take. The next day came and I received a call from Deacon telling me that they are on the way. Soon after, Deacon and Joe was at my door. They introduced themselves, and came in. Right away they got started on removing the old one and in with the new one. During that time, Joe came upstairs and put in the new thermostat. He told me that when they were finished, he'd explain the new functions on it (digital, touch screen, Bluetooth, very cool!). Not long after, they called me downstairs and the job was done. Joe came with me back upstairs and explained in detail the use of the new thermostat. During the time in my home, both guys were very professional, courtious and easy to get along with. Great job guys. As they were leaving, I asked for a business card. They said they didn't have cards of their own. Godby, get your technicians business cards!
Now, the only reason for the 4 stars was because I had to have a very minor adjustment made. Without calling, the guy just showed up! I could see that he was from Godby by his vehicle and shirt, but didn't tell me who He was. He got the job done quickly and was nice, but gave no heads up that he was on his way.

Sumers is the only company we've had experience with, and I can't imagine using anyone else! We've had Nick both times we've had issues (a failed sump pump and failed back up battery), and he has be been beyond helpful! He takes the time to thoroughly answer our many questions, and explains things in layman's terms so we can fully understand the process. Nick even gave us a heads up on future issues we may experience with our water heater and gave us a written estimate so that we can start planning ahead. We joined the Sumer's monthly plan which has saved us a lot of money on service visits and the service work itself? So I highly would recommend considering that option. Overall, Sumers has been extremely helpful and in line with other estimates we've received from other companies.

Peterman Plumbing provided excellent service for our diverse plumbing repairs. Drew was professional and knowledgeable and went the extra mile in fixing a stubborn toilet on the day we were expecting a large number of dinner guests. I won't hesitate to call again and have already recommended Peterman to my neighbors. Thanks for the great service!

Super friendly staff (I mean way over the top friendly, which isn't a bad thing) and great technicians. Luckily I haven't had to utilize a service call, but they have a great service club that is basically like an insurance policy should anything go wrong - you pay a monthly fee to not be charged when your heating or air conditioning goes out in the middle of the night or on the weekend. We deemed this an acceptable gamble when dealing with an exceptionally hot summer with a newborn - we didn't want to run the risk of having the AC go out and having to wait a few days for it to get fixed.
So far so good - the technicians are helpful and service is great. Everything continues to run smoothly thanks to their assistance. Highly recommended!
