Steve Morin Plumbing was very responsive over a holiday weekend. They were great to work with and would definitely recommend.

We called Winters Plumbing because we had a leak after I over tightened a water supply line and mucked up the threads when installing a new faucet.
Isaiah came to our rescue. He did such a fabulous job and in a short amount of time. Very polite and knowledgeable and answered all our questions.

Really nice young man, Andrew Miller that did the work, I would give him 5 stars.  I thought the price was a bit high but it was the weekend and considered an emergency call.  The scheduler was very polite and helpful.  Overall a pretty good experience.

I purchased a new water softener to replace our old one. The old one has been removed and the new one is in place. I just needed someone to reconnect new water lines to the new softener. Their quote? $1000. And they even tried to justify how that's a reasonable price.

Called Godby on Friday at the recommendation of a friend to get my AC fixed. Was told that someone would be out Friday afternoon, Monday at the latest. They never came and I never heard from them again. After reading the other reviews, I think I lucked out.

Our AC went out on a Thursday and I called the company that put our system in our new home.  I will review them separately.  Needless to say, they did not want to help me unless I bought a service contact.  So I went to Yelp to locate another HVAC company with a good track record and my fellow Yelpers did not disappoint!

I called the Action service line on Saturday morning and got someone at their call center.  They were professional and took my information and said the on call technician wold call me back.  CJ from Action called me back within 20 minutes and I reviewed what efforts I had tried and agreed I had done all I could do and that he would stop by after two calls in front of me.  At 11am CJ called back to let me know he was on his way and he showed up at the expected time.  He examined the inside unit, checked the thermostat and when he examined the outside unit, he quickly discovered the fan was not running.  He checked the electrical connections and determined I had a bad capacitor that drives the fan.  He had one in his truck and had it installed in a few minutes.  We had cool air!  
Price was reasonable for the part and weekend service.  CJ was professional and explained everything clearly.  I could not be happier with my experience with Action Air, they now have a new customer!

Called and scheduled an appointment for a few weeks ago to clean the coils and inspect our ac before it really got hot out. The day of the service they called and cancelled because there were more pressing jobs. Fast forward to now and my ac is not working, called Mower and they came over within a couple hours and found my line is frozen and more than likely due to a freon leak. The system has been working but not the greatest for a little bit now and would have been caught during the service I scheduled before the heat wave...  Don't advertise a service and then cancel, when you preach about continual maintenance and then do not have time for it I can tell you it's extremely frustrating.

Two days to get a mini-split expert to our location, diagnosed a problem repair using guesswork. Quoted $500+ dollars for a warranty repair that covered parts. Time and materials is what is expected, they charge for knowledge, which was more guesswork that diagnosis.

They came out today to fix low pressure on hot water. Turned out to be a pipe almost clogged completely clogged clogged with lime. While they were here we had the tank replaced. Very happy with the service. Would use them again.

Jimmie Self with Who's Our Plumber is one of the most honest, fair, diligent, and knowledgeable plumbing contractors I have ever worked with.  I have hired Jimmie to work on my own house multiple times, and including 2 slab leaks that required the excavation of a portion of my garage, porch, sidewalk, and the installation of a brand new service line.   The company was not only diligent in completing the work, but also great at communicating with the my insurance company directly.   I recommend Who's your plumber to all of my real estate clients, friends, and family, and everyone has had an excellent experience related to timely service, pricing, and having their plumbing problem solved.

I had Mike out to do some work on a hot tub in a new house.  He was helpful and beyond the work told me where to get parts so I could work on things myself.  That's the mark of a
Contractor that's got enough work they don't care about you doing some of the work to cut costs.

Honest, courteous, prompt, friendly, and fair. Fixed water heater after original installer had botched the job. No pressure to upsell or feel like you are being taken advantage of. A really solid person with Midwestern values who shoots straight. Ever need a plumber who would treat you like an good, trusted friend? Bob is your man. 5 out of 5!

Two plumbers came out to my daughter's house to reseat a toilet, install a water softener with plumbing already in place, and install a new vanity/sink. My daughter called to go over the estimate with me before authorizing the work to be done. When she told me it would be approximately $700, I thought that was reasonable. But then I was told that was only for that day's charges because they had to come back to install the water softener. The total was over $1800!  I asked to speak to one of the plumbers for a breakdown of the estimate. One of the charges was $198 for them to go to the hardware store and pick up a couple parts!  Yes, they wanted to charge almost $200 to pick up some parts!!  When I told them to forget about it and we would find someone else, the plumber frantically tried to talk me into using them and said he'd take off 20%. When I told him that still wouldn't work, he wanted to know what I would be willing to pay. I wouldn't have had them do service for any price with them trying to rip off my young daughter and then play The Price is Right with me over the phone. I was told the service call would be $29 if we didn't get the service done. When I told them we were declining service, they tried to rip us off again by saying it would be $49 for the trip charge. I don't know what is going on, but $1800 for three small plumbing jobs that would take a couple hours is astronomical, and I was shocked that a locally owned and operated company would be double the price of the next estimate I received. And to be charged $200 to go down the street to the hardware store was completely unbelievable. It's the plumber's job to have the necessary parts, and if they don't have the right parts, it's their job to go get them or order them to repair at a later date. I am attaching a picture of the estimate. Maybe someone can explain why the prices are so much higher than the subsequent two estimates I received and why my daughter was going to be charged almost $200 to pick up parts. I am very disappointed in Carter's Plumbing and expected better from a local company.

I will give them two stars because they got our drain running for one day. Emergency after-hours service is $109 even though the website doesn't really indicate that. It is $70 for a service call during business hours and then they refund the money if they need to use their machine which is $250 for an hour. We only got 40 minutes of the machine service and paid the $250.  The technician indicated everything was running fine and we should be good going forward. The next day our same drain was backing up again. They want to start all over and charge another $250 even though we didn't get our full hour of service yesterday... I called a competitor and they're going to come out tomorrow and do our line with the camera inspection for $88, I guess I should have went with that in the first place.

Very happy with the service. We called them, They quickly came to take a look, diagnosed the problem and were out the door. While the price seemed a perhaps higher than I expected (my job was a big one) it was done quickly, and right. I would recommend Maxwell and sons for any of your plumbing needs, hands down. If you want solid service and it done right, it's worth it to give them a call.

My experience with this company was very pleasant and professional. I initiated a request for someone to come out online and was called the following weekday. The plumber was extremely courteous and professional.

I needed my garbage disposal changed. Showed up on time on a Saturday wearing a mask, friendly, professional, completed the job fast and cleaned everything behind. My experience was just perfect I guess.

Peterman replaced our entire sewer line in March, from the street and under the house. It's stressful enough to have an unexpected $10k sewer repair, but Peterman's unhelpful and unresponsive customer service has added to the stress.

During the 2-day repair they left our sewer line unhooked for an entire 24 hour period, meaning our in-house plumbing ran into our yard that first evening. They told us that if we needed to use the toilet or shower, it would be no big deal to let it run into the yard. Big deal or not, it's not very dignifying for your family to flush waste into your yard and it's worse for them to act as if it wasn't a big deal.

They also promised that they would only tear up about 4-6 feet of our yard with their pipe bursting replacement technology. Instead, they dug a trench that tore up 20-25' of our yard. Not a big deal, but it was misleading.

What was a bigger deal is that the excavator they used to dig up our yard actually cracked our asphalt driveway in two places. It has been weeks since they said someone would contact us about it and no one has taken care of the problem yet.

They also left the old, cast-iron sewer line under our house. They cut it out and just left it in the crawl space. We've asked repeatedly for someone to come take it and dispose of it properly but it hasn't happened.  

So, be warned that once they secure the job, their follow through and their customer service is not only bad, it is stressful to deal with. It seems like a very bureaucratic company that doesn't empower its employees to put the customer first and, as a result, they all want to pass you on to someone else in the company while your concerns never get addressed. We regret letting Peterman do the work.

I don't recommend this company, we hired this company, they went there and did not complete the job. We  and found out from the plumbing company spoke to the tenant and mentioned that the landlord was not willing to fix everything, NOT TRUE!

I could never do business with this company after hearing this from the tenant, absolutely unacceptable.

Go somewhere else!
