There have been lots of surprise repairs after purchasing a 30-year-old home which is also my first house ever. I have used Acosta twice so far in only three weeks. The first time I had a leak under the kitchen sink and an issue with the garbage disposal. Acosta was able to come out the very same day to make the repairs. I ended up having the garbage disposal replaced and the pipes repaired under the sink. They were knowledgeable and quick. The second repair happened when I heard water pouring in the backyard. An old pipe that supplies the water hose had disconnected. I called Acosta and they were able to work me in the very same day. The repairs were thorough. The person who answers the phone is super nice and you can tell she really cares about the issue at hand and works to get someone out to help. I highly recommend this business!

I tried to install a new dishwasher, only to find out the supply valve shutoff didn't work. Ended up with a minor flood in the kitchen. Called Right Choice on Saturday morning based on good Yelp reviews, and because our regular guy couldn't get to us till Monday. They answered promptly, got a plumber on phone so I could describe the issue and gave me a quote. Even offered to quote me on the dishwasher install as well. Their tech Austin showed up about an hour later. Immediately fixed the faulty valve. Then installed the new dishwasher. Austin was very professional, knowledgeable and patient with a difficult install. The price was right too! So thankful I didn't go with the box store install because they wouldn't have done the plumbing. Definitely would use this company again. Big plus: they are open on Saturdays!

Often times in life you find yourself in need of assistance and sometimes you are not able to get the help you need, in this case John went out of his way to help direct the situation to much better position while going between jobs. He truly went above and beyond!!

Plumbco sent out James when I called one evening around 7pm. My renter's were complaining the water was not draining all around the house. Toilets overflowing, tubs and sinks not draining.  The dishwasher was also overflowing. I had someone previously in the day come out and tell me it was going to cost me a few thousand since it seemed the main line was broken. Was going to require digging, possible breaking of foundation to find the problem.  I decided to get a second opinion and Plumbco serviced my call less than an hour from my call since they were already in the area. All James had to do was unstop sewer line from the clean-out and unstopped kit sink drain disposal side due to too much food at once.  My bill was only for $286 and they took my payment over the phone. Rapid trustworthy response.  Will definitely consider using them again in the future.  I was very satisfied.  My renters learned their lesson as well since they were the ones left to pay the bill for their bad habits.

Hector did a great job addressing my water heater issue. He was quick to respond and very honest and upfront with the issue. He diagnosed and resolved my issue quickly. I will use him in the future. Thanks Hector.

Didn't end up with Drain Control as Kim identified that the city can address the clog directly (sewage issue).  Kim showed up when he said he was going to (even earlier and called right before)...  I would call Drain Control in the future with other plumbing issues, for sure.

Cameron and Martin came on time, explained everything well before starting the job. They wore disposable shoe covers before the job. Changed 3 toilets in my house. They did their job very quick and very clean. Disposed off my old toilets. I am very appreciative of their work and would easily recommend them to anyone.
The owner Robert  is very responsive on any questions I asked thru Yelp. Their pricing is also reasonable and I give them 5 stars for their value.

I  don't write a ton of reviews but for the exceptionally good or bad.  They were exceptionally efficient, knowledgeable and you can tell they are the  Incredibles when it comes to repiping.   You will not regret choosing them.  I've seen neighbors homes done by others and it was not a good experience.   In addition, I've also seen them work on another neighbors home and saw them in action.   I also got to speak with the neighbor who's home was worked on by EPW, after they were done and left. They had only glowing and positive reviews.  That's how I knew they were the ones I would choose. I did my research and probably got 8-9 different quotes.  I'm a bit neurotic when it comes to contractors and finding the right company.  It's not always about price for me it's about trust, quality, and good experience. They were one of the fastest because they put enough guys on the project to complete it quickly and knock it out. The second day they even had double the crew to replace my mainline and finish the interior. These guys know what they're doing because they do this so often.  They have two crews that only do repipes. They also found a leak from a  a previous plumbing job gone bad. Who uses electrical tape to connect 2 different sized plumbing pipes? They fixed it without charge.  I have no problems recommending them even to my mother in law.  Kidding aside, to any family, friends,  and neighbors. I give my whole hearted endorsement. They cleaned up everyday afterwards and minimized the cutting and dust as much as possible when cutting Sheetrock.

On Sunday we had plumbing issues and called first aid plumbing and got a great response and  fast service. Alex Vieita was the master plumber that showed up and he was super professional and friendly. It's hard to find people good honest people these days, Alex is definitely one of them. Ty u sir!  First aid Plumbing pricing is fair in my opinion.

Job was done properly and on time (on weekend, but it was not an emergency, so I could have waited). Plumber showed up 5 minutes earlier that scheduled, made recommendations on how to perform the task the right way. Very nice guy, gave me another end elbow for free, just in case. The business owner contacted me in a few days to follow up, very honest, friendly and customer service oriented guy. Will definitely use them again in the future

Geovanny was amazing! New homeowners with multiple issues and he fixed them all.  Fireplaces, toilet, bathtub, showers.  Just incredible service, cannot recommend highly enough!! Thank you!!

$480 quote from pictures sent; 30-minute service - main water valve repair. I had to call to schedule an appointment (even after using their chat feature). Guys walked up stating $480 repair without actually looking at the valve.
Also had to call to get a receipt 5 days later. The receipt had no breakdown of parts/services. Just quantity of 1 - $480
Work van said Senior and Vet Discounts... nothing listed on website.
I will shop around next time... my advice is you should do the same.

Had a mainline drain clog after moving into home I've been renting for years. Called GAP Plumbing and they responded quickly and cleaned the main line and were very reasonable on cost. 3 days later, drain issue when ran upstairs shower that caused downstairs toilet to overflow. They came back and had to pull the toilet to clean out the clog. Very professional, friendly, and worked hard to take care of the issue!  
I will definitely use GAP Plumbing for any future plumbing needs!  
Used Les Conn years ago, but they were expensive and then a couple of years ago as landlord living in CA, they would not provide service since I was not on the property. Horrible customer service.
I rely on yelp for reviews, but don't often write them, but wanted to share my positive experience about GAP for those in need of a good plumbing service!

I cannot recommend Ric and CMP Plumbing highly enough. After getting the run around from our home warranty company and a handful of other plumbers for 10 days, some of whom tried to price gouge, Ric was able to come out the same day we contacted him to replace our tankless gas water heater. His pricing was fair and transparent and all of their work is permitted. Have already referred him to my other contacts and he will be my first call for any plumbing issues in the future. Great service, friendly, reliable and reasonably priced compared to a number of competitive quotes. Our plumbing project required to creative solution and they developed one, priced it reasonably and made it happen.

In a world of overly expensive and unreliable businesses, this company was a bright spot in what could've been a really painful search. Will absolutely call them again and would recommend to a friend.

This is the first time we have used JD Precision Plumbing.  Our first impression of the company was the professionalism and politeness of their receptionist.  The second impression was how organized the company is.  They sent a short introductory bio of the plumber they were sending to handle our problem.  They gave an ETA of their service tech and said he would call at least 15 minutes before arriving, which he did.  The service tech, Chad, had extremely good manners, was very helpful, and fixed the problem.  We look forward to a long and successful relationship with this company.

We had leak outside the house. Cedric was the technician that showed up to the house. He was very professional and courteous. I showed him where the leak was and he said he would get right on it. He fixed the leak and answered all the questions that I had about it. He even explained a few other details. Over all a very satisfying experience.

Worst company I've ever hired. I got their value plan with all around service and maintenance. Every time they visit, they leave issues behind. They break equipment and tell you that you'll have to pay them for the repair. They over charge. You get very little benefit from their value plan or whatever the official title is.

Example 1 - plumbing
Saw the problem, said they couldn't fix it, I suggested a solution and suddenly they figured out the solution. I received a heavy charge for them removing a plug from my garbage disposal.

Example 2 - water heater
I asked them to do annual maintenance. The tech breaks it somehow and tells me that it's broke and the water would no longer heat. I argued with him over the phone and suddenly it started working again. I called another tech to confirm if there was any issue. The tech from another company told me that it wasn't an urgent issue and could wait a long time before being fixed. The alternative company also replaced the system months later for a fraction of the cost.

Example 3 - AC
System fan was having issues. Abacus told me that with my discount, I would pay 199 for them to diagnose (excluding trip charge). This does not include any repairs. I worked for a major HVAC manufacturer and know that this price is on the high end. No thanks

Conclusion: I ended my membership. I will never use
