I had an emergency water issue in which my water main broke between the street and the house and I called JP Plumbing to help. After talking with Luis he indicated that his company was unable to perform the work but continued to provide information and called me back 3 times and responded to text messages as I was trying to figure out what I could do to remedy the issue until I could identify a plumber that could handle certain excavation and removal work. This guy is honest and helpful even after knowing he won't make any money on that deal. He is a stand up guy and I highly recommend reaching out to these guys! They are clearly not trying to gouge you and offer more work then you need. I will keep them on speed dial! Thanks again for all your help!

I could have called a handful of other companies to take care of an emergency plumbing leak but chose to stay local and take my fellow Yelper's advice to call Bob DeShano.  

From the time I placed the call to Bob to completion of work I would say less than an hour and a half.  Bob was both professional and friendly.    Even found out he was originally from my hometown of Orange, CA.

The charges were fair and he was overall a pleasure to deal with.   Thank you fellow Yelpers I concur with you on this one.  Highly recommend!

Good prices with solid work. I have 3 plumbers listed just in case however his name has the stars by it to call first and a note to retry because I liked his service and prices that much more. When he saw a valve kit for the toilet I told him my husband was planning on installing it. He suggested he also install a new flapper valve at the same time and showed me why. He was there to fix a leak under the toilet my husband didn't want to deal with and it turned out to be more than just needing a new wax seal so I was very happy he was there. All around nice guy.

They were great! Alexander installed a new disposal for me quickly and effectively. They were very responsive, and agreed to a fair price. Will use them in the future for more projects.

Mark and Ali are friendly, responsive, responsible and great at getting nearly any kind of job done. We originally reached out to them because we had a big leak in our apartment building's roof that needed to be patched. Unlike most folks in the roofing industry, they not only checked out the roof itself, but climbed into the crawl space to examine the wood.

After patching the roof, we also had them repair the drywall in the ceiling that had caved in due to the leak. They were timely, and flexible with our schedule, their estimates were reasonable and they fixed up a ceiling, along with repainting it in the same style as the original paint job.

Both of them were a pleasure to work with, very respectful of our space and our time, and got the job done. I'll absolutely be hiring them for any home repair work that is beyond our skill level, and absolutely recommend them. I appreciate that they document their hours clearly, save receipts, and are so easy to work with.

I was having issues with my tankless water heater and called several different plumbers for an estimate. I got a wide range of prices but A1 was one of the few fair estimates and they even worked with me on it. They did an excellent job and everyone I spoke with was super nice. They were even very accommodating with the times they could come out. I would definitely recommend them and use them again if needed!

I'm very thankful that I found them. I needed a trusted business to come out and help my elderly mother. I didn't want anyone to take advantage of her. I called and asked for a quote because I knew exactly what I needed. They gave me a quote right over the phone. They came out the next day. They did the work and charged me the quote that was given to me.  I highly recommend them!

Nathan was very professional and polite. He was able to help us fix some gas leaks and reroute some non compliant plumping, while also running new gas lines for our cooktop and fireplace at a fair price. Would absolutely recommend.

It was the middle of the night and something in the attic made the sheet rock fall. My husband went up to check it and turns out it was a busTed pipe. We called Ark Repipes after my neighbor referred them a few wks prior when she had some work done. They came out early the next morning and in 3 days our problem was fixed completely! They were very knowledgeable and understanding at a very affordable price! I highly recommend Ark Repipes.

I had a wet area in my front yard, and was suspecting some underground leakage, cause I had similar issue before. The guy came and inspect the area and suggested me to wait for a couple of weeks first. To him, it looked like a low ground point rather than leakage. If they dig to inspect, they have to charge, and he would hate to find that there was no underground leakage.

He further spend time to look around the area and check other pipes around, and didn't ask for a penny. I still tip him though for the time and effort.

They  got here within the hour, made their repairs, cleaned everything up and were on their way. No fuss, no mess, very pleasant.

Leonard and his team are reliable and responsive to all my requests. We upgraded to an expanded custom island, new lighting, countertops, sink, stove, painting etc.  I love it all. This is the second time we hired Houston Plumbing Services to do a major remodel in our home.

I was hesitant to call a plumbing company, but couldn't put it off any longer. Our water pressure was terrible and with guests coming and going, it was getting embarrassing and cumbersome. I looked around and landed on a local company to come to the rescue. The plumber came out and removed an unused filter that was on the entry pipe to the main water supply. He also replaced a fitting that was ancient. He did a multi-point inspection throughout the house and in the hot attic (for the hot water heater) and made some recommendations. A few minutes after he left, we tested the water by turning on the kitchen sink faucet and flushing a toilet at the same time. Yay! We had an extremely weird plumbing problem. Paul from Obsta Plumbing came out and had it resolved in three hours. Excellent work, fair price. I couldn't have asked for more. I will definitely use Obsta again when the need arises!!

My Aunt and Uncle were extremely overcharged for the installation of a new facet for their kitchen sink. They had the faucet and the man was here 1/2 hour and gave them a senior rate of 240.00. Ridiculous and outrageous price for seniors.  We won't call them again.
