Best Pipe Repair in Honolulu HI

My bathroom had water on the floor and I needed help ASAP. I used Yelp to contact 3 plumbers with the fastest listed response times.

The first one replied in a matter of minutes but said they needed authorization from my landlord to even come out to assess the job. They weren't even talking about actual repair work, mind you, they wanted authorization from my landlord to step on to the property to take a look. My landlord wasn't immediately available so that took them out of the running.

The second and third companies took over 7 hours to reply, one of the companies only replied when I sent them another message. The last one told me that they couldn't get to me until next week but they would refer me to another company. Strikes 2 and 3.

My father-in-law recommended Fast Rooter, raving about the service he recently received from them. I called and they had a plumber at my house in 3 hours. They quickly assessed the problems and fixed them all for a very reasonable price. I have nothing but praise for this company and will not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to others!

All pricing and itinerary is broken down from the get-go so there's no guessing along with total transparent pricing before our digital signature to proceed.  After he successfully snaked our drains of about 100 feet, he gave us an unbiased assessment of what we could and should do in the future as well as a complete budget breakdown so that we can plan ahead.  We highly recommend this business that seems to be run by qualified personnel at all the positions we dealt with (sales and technician).

Called Shaka Plumbing for an emergency at 3pm yesterday. But I wanted it done the next day if possible.  Neil came to my property within 20 minutes after I called. Came this morning after I secured water to property.  He did a great job. He made sure he cleaned up after himself.

Excellent service. He returned phone call immediately and came the next day. He was very professional and kept us updated when he left to get parts. The fee was reasonable & we will call him again in the future if the need arises.

Would never recommend this plumbing company. Office staff unprofessional on the phone. Workers showed up with mask on decided it was okay to take mask off in my property. After 3 attempts to find out why my plumbing is leaking still not fixed.

I live in a building almost as old as me. Like me, parts of my unit are wearing out and malfunctioning. That was the story with the tub faucet. The original equipment was about 60 years old and the hot water went from a drip to a constant stream, with the heat creating stains and mold.

I asked the office who did a lot of work at our complex and the said Pono at MG Plumbing. It didn't take too long to get an appointment. The shower head was a mess too, so I asked Pono about a new shower head with a hose, which would make it easier for me. He said I could buy one, or he would. I asked him to get one for me. I have a mobility disability, so it's hard for me to shop in person. I looked at many options online, but ultimately I figured he would know best how to proceed.

He was on time and selected a moderately priced Kohler shower head. It attaches via a magnet, making it easier for me to detach and reattach. That's helpful for me not just because of the disability but also because I'm so short.

He finished the work quickly and even put up the new plastic liner and just-washed fabric curtain. Just taking down the nasty dirty moldy plastic liner and the fabric curtain which desperately needing washing was quite a struggle for me, so I was very grateful when he did the work for me when I asked.

He also prepared me for what would eventually come after this, once this fix wore out. (Let's just say I'd better start saving lots of money.)

Once the hot water stream was fixed, I was able to scrub the tub and bleach the mold away in bits and pieces over a couple of weeks, as my body allowed. Now the tub looks pretty darned good. Hopefully I look that good, too, as we both continue to age.

Hey these guys are super good they came out within one hour they fixed my shower I had a broken knob stem had to be replaced it only cost me 143 man these guys are unbelievable so if you need something done for a reasonable price you should call them the dude who help me his name is Mike he's super friendly super clean left no mess very professional people

Honest and responsive woman owned business.   Emailed my request for a quote in the morning and got a quote that same afternoon.  The plumbers came early to check out what repairs were needed and provided excellent follow up showing me what to check for when the water service came back on.  Highly recommend this business for your plumbing needs.  Thanks Accurate Plumbing!

Johnny was excellent all around. Responded to emergency quickly, diagnosed problem, and fixed it efficiently. Came back later in the week with Andy for more substantive repairs, and they both communicated excellently, did what they said when they said, and did a great job.

Christmas Day evening plumbing emergency.  I was incredibly pleasantly surprised and deeply appreciative to have a plumber return my call on Christmas.  Wow.  He agreed he could be there the next morning 12/26/18.  He arrived within 15-20 minutes of the quote window (on time for Hawaii).  He did not charge for his helper and he met his original quote for $200 which was great as I could not 100% advise him what the issue was (I only knew the 2 piece toilet was leaking from the tank and dripping into the condo below).  I do feel he fluffed his labor time by 20-30 minutes, but when he explained he was calling it 1.5 hours of labor to include driving time, I was okay with it.  Again he met his original quote, was on time and saved me a great deal of headache and stress.  I can highly recommend Tony!

Used this company once before and I was impressed with their service and attitude.  
I live at Capitol Place in downtown Honolulu. Management hires inspectors to review every unit in the condo building for any problems related to plumbing.
We were told, along with everyone I asked in the building, that our 12 year old 80 gallon original water heater needed to be replaced. This is a 39 floor condo!!
Incidentally, the inspecting company also does water heaters ( Heide and Cooke ) ..... hmmmmm

Anyways, 535 to the rescue. In fact, based on only two people living in my unit, they suggested I go down to a 50 gallon heater thus saving electricity since we don't do three hour showers!  This saved us $1700 if we replaced with another 80 gallon. Called on a Thursday, they scheduled for the following Wednesday. Quick!

They were on time, quoted me a fair price, workers were polite and neat.

Got a decent quote from Jay.  Said he could be out between 7:30-8:00pm.  Great!  Asked for pics of my pipes, which I sent, then never heard from him again.  No, I can't make it tonight.  No Can I reschedule?  Just silence.  I even tried calling and he wouldn't answer the phone.  I could've spent that time finding a more reliable plumber.
