Excellent installation of a new kitchen faucet - had to cut away old faucet as it had rusted nuts, but completed the job efficiently and professionally.  Very professional and courteous - cleared away trash and cleaned before leaving - highly recommend Little Big of Kailua !

Bernard was punctual and responsive and great customer service overall. We needed someone to come and look at the backflow, and scheduling was easy and quick.

I had a leaking toilet over the holiday weekend and Kelii from Imua Plumbing came as soon as possible. He quickly diagnosed the issue, a loose gasket in the water tank. He fixed it within an hour, and his rate was excellent. He was very professional and respectful. Imua Plumbing is officially my go-to for anymore plumbing issues in my new home. Very grateful for excellent, local service!

Although I've only had one experience with this company, I can easily see why they're so popular, and will definitely call them again, next time I have any plumbing needs!  From beginning to end, JBC's customer service was great, rates were very reasonable, & they got the job done well & fast...basically,everything I want in a plumber!

By way of background, our toilet had been making terrible noises for almost two weeks, but we managed to live with it for a while. When the bathtub drain also started giving us trouble, I knew it was time to bring in the professionals, & I sent out a Yelp request for quotes, to the maximum number of companies allowed (maybe 6?). Only 4 responded, and JBC responded within a few hours; they also told me their rate upfront, unlike some other companies.  When I called to follow-up, they booked me for the very next morning!

Joey & Mike showed up on-time...well, technically 10 minutes late, but only after calling 20 minutes prior, to tell me their estimated time of arrival. No biggie for me. After introducing ourselves & explaining the problem, they went straight to work. They came in & out of the house several times, and were very courteous about removing their shoes in the designated area.  (I've had other service providers who were not!)  They were also very nice to let my ever-curious 2-year-old watch them constantly, and even responded hi with a smile, every time he said it to them...like 20 times, hahaha!

Once they were done, they kindly explained what had been wrong, what they'd done to fix it, and how to prevent it from happening again in the future. After checking out one more problem, which they were ultimately not able to work on (more of a landscaping issue) they wrote up my invoice, accepted my check & were on their way.

Long story short, I wouldn't hesitate to contact JBC for help again, and would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat, for any basic plumbing needs. While I can't speak to their work on more complicated installations or major disaster type situations, I'd probably call them for those too. From what I have seen, their service is really top-notch: simple, straightforward, knowledgeable & efficient!

I live in a building almost as old as me. Like me, parts of my unit are wearing out and malfunctioning. That was the story with the tub faucet. The original equipment was about 60 years old and the hot water went from a drip to a constant stream, with the heat creating stains and mold.

I asked the office who did a lot of work at our complex and the said Pono at MG Plumbing. It didn't take too long to get an appointment. The shower head was a mess too, so I asked Pono about a new shower head with a hose, which would make it easier for me. He said I could buy one, or he would. I asked him to get one for me. I have a mobility disability, so it's hard for me to shop in person. I looked at many options online, but ultimately I figured he would know best how to proceed.

He was on time and selected a moderately priced Kohler shower head. It attaches via a magnet, making it easier for me to detach and reattach. That's helpful for me not just because of the disability but also because I'm so short.

He finished the work quickly and even put up the new plastic liner and just-washed fabric curtain. Just taking down the nasty dirty moldy plastic liner and the fabric curtain which desperately needing washing was quite a struggle for me, so I was very grateful when he did the work for me when I asked.

He also prepared me for what would eventually come after this, once this fix wore out. (Let's just say I'd better start saving lots of money.)

Once the hot water stream was fixed, I was able to scrub the tub and bleach the mold away in bits and pieces over a couple of weeks, as my body allowed. Now the tub looks pretty darned good. Hopefully I look that good, too, as we both continue to age.

Johnny was excellent all around. Responded to emergency quickly, diagnosed problem, and fixed it efficiently. Came back later in the week with Andy for more substantive repairs, and they both communicated excellently, did what they said when they said, and did a great job.

Tony was excellent! He was quick to respond back with an estimate. I was able to text him pictures of my sink and the issues I was having. He was able to diagnose it and schedule a repair time. He was very professional and efficient during the service call. His pricing was very reasonable which made the overall experience very positive! I had a 5 star experience !!!

Outstanding service and very reasonably priced. We received a quick call and initial rough estimate. The installation was completed fairly quickly and as mentioned at a reasonable price. I also spoke with Steve's plumbing. They tried to upsell me on their product and said I should go with the this plumber for the price he was at. Overall, very friendly, quick responses, very affordable, and quality work. Highly recommend this local small business!

Years ago, our toilets started overflowing at night. A friend had recommended Jeff's company, and he responded right away. There was a problem in the pipe outside, underground, and he was able to take care of it right away. He and his crew have been our trusted plumbers ever since.
