After trying several times to schedule with a different company with no success, we gave fast rooter a try. We were not disappointed. They really meant it by fast! The phone was answered on the first call. It was already in the evening and they offered to come not even an hour later or the next day. We worked with Matt for a clogged drain. He had the job done before we even got to the location to meet. Prices were reasonable, staff were pleasant to work with, he seemed very honest and patient with our many questions. Will definitely be calling again for future plumbing issues!

Neil and his crew were great! We had a one off request of installing a new gas range top. Highly recommend, for the rest of the peeps on Oahu a new top of the line gas range top is 66% cheaper than a new electric range top. After installation cost it was still 33% cheaper. Neil did a great job with the installation and the work is clean and cherry. The end result will be 30$ less a month in electric bill and better quality cooking with gas. Thanks Shaka Plumbing!

I called Ben when I needed the bottom of my undersink cabinet in the kitchen replaced because it had warped from water damage.  I've had a few estimates done and Ben's price was pretty reasonable.  I decided to go with Ben because he had a pretty darn good review here on yelp, plus he also happened to be available to do it the same day.  He did a really nice job on replacing the particle board bottom of the undersink cabinet--he even cut out the pipe areas really nicely and fitted them back and caulked all the way around.  I was really happy when it was done because it looked like it was brand new (5 stars there)!  One problem:  Upon my final inspection of the job, I noticed two of the wood screws came protruding out the other side of the kitchen island!  When I pointed it out to Ben, he felt bad about it because he had thought there would be molding on the other side.  So, he spent Sunday going to Home Depot to find a matching maple molding, stain it the right shade to match my island and on Monday, Ben shows up with the molding and did a quick install/caulk.  He was apologetic of the situation and offered no additional cost for the molding and the labor.  

I took away a star because, overall, the job turned out a bit longer than I had anticipated . However, because Ben showed me that he will do the customer right in the end (plus, my kitchen island looks even better than it did before with the additional molding!), I maintain my 4-star rating for BLS Carpentry.

I had a leaking toilet over the holiday weekend and Kelii from Imua Plumbing came as soon as possible. He quickly diagnosed the issue, a loose gasket in the water tank. He fixed it within an hour, and his rate was excellent. He was very professional and respectful. Imua Plumbing is officially my go-to for anymore plumbing issues in my new home. Very grateful for excellent, local service!

Jaren was excellent and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a high quality plumber.  We live in an older apartment building where all of our faucets and the shower started leaking at about the same time.  He was able to fit us in quickly and the pricing was reasonable.  Another plumber I received a quote from told me that the tile would need to be cut to repair our shower -- Jaren was able to fix it quickly without cutting tile.  He ended up replacing all our faucets, a guest bathroom sink and installing a new kitchen sink/faucet.  We couldn't be happier with his work and how accessible he is.

Shayne was very fast to respond to my request. He came out on a Friday evening and helped snake a clogged drain. Affordable prices and quick to respond! Thanks Shayne!!

The contractor they sent, Kristian, was able to view our pix of the problem and give us options before he arrived, and even got the replacement faucet we wanted from a link we texted to him.

It made the difference between limping through the holidays with a taped-up feeder line and a worry-free new faucet.

Had a minor scare when I saw water leaking from my water heater. JBC Plumbing was the first company I contacted and was not disappointed. Their courteous professionals arrived quickly, assessed the situation, and answered all of my questions. They stayed until I was fully informed of what the issue was, what my options were, and what maintenance and costs would be involved should I elect to have components replaced. I know nothing of plumbing was felt confident I had made the right decision to call these guys. I'd highly recommend them for any plumbing needs.

I live in a building almost as old as me. Like me, parts of my unit are wearing out and malfunctioning. That was the story with the tub faucet. The original equipment was about 60 years old and the hot water went from a drip to a constant stream, with the heat creating stains and mold.

I asked the office who did a lot of work at our complex and the said Pono at MG Plumbing. It didn't take too long to get an appointment. The shower head was a mess too, so I asked Pono about a new shower head with a hose, which would make it easier for me. He said I could buy one, or he would. I asked him to get one for me. I have a mobility disability, so it's hard for me to shop in person. I looked at many options online, but ultimately I figured he would know best how to proceed.

He was on time and selected a moderately priced Kohler shower head. It attaches via a magnet, making it easier for me to detach and reattach. That's helpful for me not just because of the disability but also because I'm so short.

He finished the work quickly and even put up the new plastic liner and just-washed fabric curtain. Just taking down the nasty dirty moldy plastic liner and the fabric curtain which desperately needing washing was quite a struggle for me, so I was very grateful when he did the work for me when I asked.

He also prepared me for what would eventually come after this, once this fix wore out. (Let's just say I'd better start saving lots of money.)

Once the hot water stream was fixed, I was able to scrub the tub and bleach the mold away in bits and pieces over a couple of weeks, as my body allowed. Now the tub looks pretty darned good. Hopefully I look that good, too, as we both continue to age.

Hey these guys are super good they came out within one hour they fixed my shower I had a broken knob stem had to be replaced it only cost me 143 man these guys are unbelievable so if you need something done for a reasonable price you should call them the dude who help me his name is Mike he's super friendly super clean left no mess very professional people

I wish there were 10 stars to rate Martin Dixon. I had an emergency repair at 7:30pm on a Friday night on a pipe that burst underground in our yard. I asked Martin if he could fix it but he wasn't available until Monday. I sent pictures/video asking advice on how to stop the leak until then. He called and said he'd come out to fix immediately. I was prepared for a ridiculously expensive bill but it was so reasonable. This is the third time I've had Martin come to fix issues on an old house. He's prompt, courteous and more than fair in his pricing. I so appreciate him (and his family) for coming out to help our family.  It's so rare to find an honest , hard working, reasonable plumber on O'ahu.  This is the guy to call!! Thanks Martin !!

We had several bids for our bathroom remodel. Accurate Plumbing was not only the most reasonable but very knowledgeable and professional. They made great suggestions to what materials would work best. They did the work in the blink of an eye and our beautiful bathroom was done just like that! We highly recommend Clayton and his crew.

Trying to replace my valve apparatus, on my shower. According to YouTube a process it would take a plumber approximately 1 hour tops, requiring equipment probably around $20-$30. This individual has a flat rate of $800. that will give him around a $700 per hour rate making him the highest-paid plumber in the area, and higher paid than neurosurgeons.  when I explained to him that the price was outrageous, how he justifies that based on a $90 hourly rate he responded in the most professional manner that he knew how. Please see attached image.   you need to think clear! . I should've responded yes I am going to think clearly and not hire you as a plumber. I would avoid this gentleman, I have no idea how he has such high rating, but his unprofessional behavior is something that is not desirable in my opinion.

This review is written on behalf of my elderly in-laws in Aiea who are in their 70's.  We would give 535 six stars if we could, for going above and beyond to help my in-laws, after they were scammed by ANOTHER plumbing company as below.

My in-laws initially hired ANOTHER plumbing company to clear a sewer drain blockage about 2-3 weeks ago. They charged my in-laws over $350 to supposedly clear out the drain, and then another about $4500 to supposedly repair/replace the problem pipes.  The day that the owner came in to ask for the final payment immediately after the job, he hinted to my in-laws that they probably needed to do another even bigger repair job to truly fix the problem, which left my in-laws confused.  He took the money and left the old pipes at the house, when they're supposed to remove them per their quote.

Several days later the toilet backflow with toilet sewer water, and this time it went all the way into their master bedroom carpet, and my elderly in-laws had to frantically clean up the mess.  My father-in-law got pneumonia from the foul water smell and stress a couple of days later and is STILL in the hospital.  It was as if they had made the problem WORSE after charging all that money.  When my in-laws complained about the problem, the owner of the other company suggested that they had to do the bigger repair job that he proposed earlier, when my in-laws argued with him, he stopped responding to them, even though per the contract they're supposed to provide warranty service.  He practically abandoned them with a non-functioning sewer, perhaps as a way to force them to do the bigger job.

Since my father-in-law was in the hospital, we tried to help remotely and good thing I found 535 from Yelp.  While Shane originally told me that they were too busy and could not have time to go in until the week after, he squeezed in time to help my in-laws after hearing our plight.

Given our last experience, we specifically asked for a fiber-optic camera service to locate the root cause.  According to my mother-in-law, Shane's crew quickly figured out the problem after she described what happened, and they then camera traced and videotaped the location of the clog, and cleared the clog for less than the $350 that the other company charged to do just the clear out without the video camera service (which did NOT fix the blockage). They even saved the video to a USB thumb drive that we provided for record.

Not only that, they also located a p-Trap problem that was leaking some sewer water directly to the ground, and while they didn't have time to fix it at the time, they came back to fix it not only at a very reasonable price, but also took away the old pipes that the other company had left behind, and refused to take my mother-in-law's money for the extra help.

535's kindness, integrity, and professionalism truly sets them apart and restored our faith that there are honest people out there.  We cannot express our gratitude enough for Shane and team's help on this difficult situation.

Alex, the OWNER of the company so friendly over the phone and offered free estimate, but WHAT he was a NO SHOW shame on you!!! Don't talk highly about big projects you accomplished when you GHOSTS us with no response back even on text. You got my address so no hate and retaliate when it's your fault!

Got a decent quote from Jay.  Said he could be out between 7:30-8:00pm.  Great!  Asked for pics of my pipes, which I sent, then never heard from him again.  No, I can't make it tonight.  No Can I reschedule?  Just silence.  I even tried calling and he wouldn't answer the phone.  I could've spent that time finding a more reliable plumber.
