We have used Little Big Plumbing twice for problems with the two showers in our house.  It was a fantastic experience from the initial phone call until they were done fixing the problem.  The receptionist was super nice and both of the service guys who came to our house were extremely professional and very nice.  And were able to fix the problems in no time.  We are planning on using them for all of our plumbing needs in the future and will recommend them to all of our friends!

My electric water tank had to be replaced due to aging. My experience has been positive from the time I contacted Pipe Masters until the installation of a new water tank. Arvin, the office supervisor provided me all the necessary information clearly & kindly over phone. Pili, the office manager emailed & texted me what to expect next accordingly. Joshua installed the tank without complaining about my tight closet space he had to work in. He answered all my questions and called company office to get necessary answers for me when he was not sure. They demonstrated professionalism and friendly customer service. Kudos to them!

Keli'i is licensed and insured plumber who is very professional and responsive. The first time I called, he was in the middle of a large job but took the time to come over and assess the leak I could hear dripping in my wall.

We communicated via text and although he was very busy, he came after hours on July 3 - the day before a holiday and stayed until almost 8 pm. He had to cut walls in between the upstairs kitchen and downstairs bathroom.

He bought the part needed and squeezed me into his schedule on July 5. After struggling in a small,  cramped space trying to remove a pipe that was installed incorrectly in the 1970s  (he had to chip away at the pipe, then cut it, then drill a bigger hole in the floor joist while working in a hole no larger than a 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper) he kept saying Nothing is impossible. After seeing his accomplishment of this difficult job, I told Keli'i that should be his corporate slogan - Nothing is impossible!

Awesome service!!  Responded quickly with a fair quote and the repairs were done beyond my expectations. Will define use his services again in the future!!

Don't let plumbers in Hawaii give you high cost proposals with the that's how it is in Hawaii excuse. Rick is very reasonable and will give you quality work.

We were referred to Rick through our home inspector for a condo purchase. The bathroom needed a significant overhaul. New toilet, new supply valves, new shower valve, new sink, new tub surround/tile. We had a specific schedule that we needed to keep due to some conflicting requirements and particular allowable workdays due to condo association rules. Rick and his guys completed all of the work expertly and right on schedule. No complaints, no extra charges. The work is high quality.

I'll close with the fact that I am a construction project manager by profession.  Have been for 25 years. I know a great contractor when I hire one and Rick is a great contractor.

I consider myself pretty handy around the house but when it comes to plumbing, I say leave it to the professionals.  Washing machine hot water valve sprung a leak.  They responded to my request for quote right away and came the next day.  Prices are pretty reasonable.

I live in a building almost as old as me. Like me, parts of my unit are wearing out and malfunctioning. That was the story with the tub faucet. The original equipment was about 60 years old and the hot water went from a drip to a constant stream, with the heat creating stains and mold.

I asked the office who did a lot of work at our complex and the said Pono at MG Plumbing. It didn't take too long to get an appointment. The shower head was a mess too, so I asked Pono about a new shower head with a hose, which would make it easier for me. He said I could buy one, or he would. I asked him to get one for me. I have a mobility disability, so it's hard for me to shop in person. I looked at many options online, but ultimately I figured he would know best how to proceed.

He was on time and selected a moderately priced Kohler shower head. It attaches via a magnet, making it easier for me to detach and reattach. That's helpful for me not just because of the disability but also because I'm so short.

He finished the work quickly and even put up the new plastic liner and just-washed fabric curtain. Just taking down the nasty dirty moldy plastic liner and the fabric curtain which desperately needing washing was quite a struggle for me, so I was very grateful when he did the work for me when I asked.

He also prepared me for what would eventually come after this, once this fix wore out. (Let's just say I'd better start saving lots of money.)

Once the hot water stream was fixed, I was able to scrub the tub and bleach the mold away in bits and pieces over a couple of weeks, as my body allowed. Now the tub looks pretty darned good. Hopefully I look that good, too, as we both continue to age.

Virtues was recommended to us by a friend, and we would gladly recommend them to anyone.  Knowledgeable, courteous, and very patient answering all our questions.
When problems arise due to our old equipment, they are able to improvise and fix those things without gouging.

The pipe from the street to our house broke. We got an outrageous bid from another company, Waialae Plumbing ($3,800. They must use gold pipes instead of copper).

Fortunately, I found out that a neighbor had the same pipe problem and got it fixed by Accurate Plumbing & Repairs for about $1,800. When we called, Clayton answered the phone right away and said he could take care of it.

He arrived on time, explained what he was going to do, and then did a great job in about 3 hours. He even replaced the grass on the trench and watered it. I forgot to ask what the price would be til the job was done. It was the same low price that the neighbor got. Honest guy, good communicator. He even explained how I could get a break on the next water bill. I am very pleased.

Johnny is one of a kind and he responds QUICKLY and was willing to help immediately. Very knowledgeable and super easy to work with. Call Johnny if you need someone who will show up and respond to you when you have a problem!!!

Tony has been my go-to plumber for a couple of years. He is honest, hardworking, prompt, and an overall nice guy. I recommend him to everyone I know.

Wow. Our disposal hasn't worked in quite a while, but now, today, Sunday, it decides to start leaking. Sunday is a big cooking day for me but still, not being able to use the kitchen sink isn't an official emergency like a non-functioning toilet, right? So I figure I'll look up some places on yelp.com and leave emailed requests for an estimate hoping that someone could make it on Monday or Tuesday. I forgot to mention it's the Sunday of the looooong Thanksgiving weekend.

I send an email to the first place, 535 Plumbing, and before I get to the second place, they called back. They said they could have a guy over in 2 to 4 hours. They gave me an estimate for the cost of replacement and labor up front. Seemed fair to me 'cuz I already had looked up the cost of the unit at Lowe's and Home Depot.

Before the 2 hours, their guy Niko shows up. Very professional attitude and very competent. Big mahalo, Niko. The job took around 40 minutes even with the probs older appliances and dwellings often have. So yeah, wow. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

What a ripoff

So i called to make an appointment to see what they could do for the leak i had in my water heater....so they came to the house and the two guys that came was talking amongst each other making like the job was hard and then when the said $400 . i was like what the hell...so i ended up telling them nvm and ended up calling the number on my water heater and the guy on the phone told me what to do and helped me fix it for free. this company wanted me to pay $400 plus parts for something so little like tightening the screws and also changing the cover that was rusting because of the water. so yeah i wouldn't recommend this company at all.

Got a decent quote from Jay.  Said he could be out between 7:30-8:00pm.  Great!  Asked for pics of my pipes, which I sent, then never heard from him again.  No, I can't make it tonight.  No Can I reschedule?  Just silence.  I even tried calling and he wouldn't answer the phone.  I could've spent that time finding a more reliable plumber.
