Best Garbage Disposal Installation in Honolulu HI

I had such a positive, initial first encounter with Mike and Brendalyn of Little Big Plumbing.  He did seem very nice and patient, and willing to go through all the things wrong with our solar water heater.  It is 120 gallons and in a tight spot.  I had such high hopes that he and his staff would be able to help us and take on this job (@ one of the higher bids, btw).  He emailed the invoice, we thought about it for a day and decided to go with his company.  Then, SUPRISE!  I get a phone call from Mike the next day saying he didn't feel comfortable dealing with such a large heater and the potential it had for damaging the house as they tried to bring it out and down the stairs. He and his crew were all small guys, he said, about 150 lbs each.  He even wanted us to go with a smaller heater, even though 7 people depend on it for hot water and, clearly that would've been a struggle. He left us high and dry (pun intended) with only a referral to Ponchos Solar.  He wasted mine and my family's time.  Meanwhile I'm heating up water in my microwave to give my 15 month old a bath at night. He really did disappoint us.  So I really don't know what kind of work they do, because he refused to do it.  He should've refused from the very beginning and not wasted our time. The funny thing is we are planning a number of plumbing jobs to refurbish our home and as a result, we don't trust him and have to start from scratch to find a new plumber.

I called all handymen here on this side of the island early this morning to have someone fix my garage wall that I reversed into, and no one answered or called back, only Ben replied and came to my residence quick and gave an extremely affordable price. I am satisfied with how quick and clean the results came out to. And I highly recommend BLS Carpentry!! Mahalo!

I live in a building almost as old as me. Like me, parts of my unit are wearing out and malfunctioning. That was the story with the tub faucet. The original equipment was about 60 years old and the hot water went from a drip to a constant stream, with the heat creating stains and mold.

I asked the office who did a lot of work at our complex and the said Pono at MG Plumbing. It didn't take too long to get an appointment. The shower head was a mess too, so I asked Pono about a new shower head with a hose, which would make it easier for me. He said I could buy one, or he would. I asked him to get one for me. I have a mobility disability, so it's hard for me to shop in person. I looked at many options online, but ultimately I figured he would know best how to proceed.

He was on time and selected a moderately priced Kohler shower head. It attaches via a magnet, making it easier for me to detach and reattach. That's helpful for me not just because of the disability but also because I'm so short.

He finished the work quickly and even put up the new plastic liner and just-washed fabric curtain. Just taking down the nasty dirty moldy plastic liner and the fabric curtain which desperately needing washing was quite a struggle for me, so I was very grateful when he did the work for me when I asked.

He also prepared me for what would eventually come after this, once this fix wore out. (Let's just say I'd better start saving lots of money.)

Once the hot water stream was fixed, I was able to scrub the tub and bleach the mold away in bits and pieces over a couple of weeks, as my body allowed. Now the tub looks pretty darned good. Hopefully I look that good, too, as we both continue to age.

Martin is the best. We manage over 600 properties and we always need a good plumber. The trouble is the good ones always get busy and we have to find new ones. I hope that doesn't happen with Virtues Plumbing because they are one of the most reliable plumbers we have worked with. Estimates are reasonable and there's no surprises on the invoices. It's really hard to trust plumbers as some of them will give you a quote and then the invoice is a lot more or they will give you a good price on the first job and we notice that they charge a lot more on the next jobs. I've never gotten that with Martin and he does the job faster than any of the vendors we have used in the past!

I just had Dan the plumber do a hot water and main water shut off valve replacement located in my water heater closet. The original one were the round  turn knob type called gate valves.  Those tend to leak a lot if you turn them off or on a few times.  Sometimes the leak never will stop unless you place the packing inside.  I decided to have my leaky gate valve replaced with the handle type sit off valves call ball valves.  They are more dependable to me against future leaks.  Dan finished the entire job just about an hour.  He works very fast and efficient.  He communicates very well and replies back to all my messages in rocket fast time. So far so good and I'm so glad that my leaky water shut off valves are now replaced.

We have called upon Accurate Plumbing & Repairs for all our plumbing needs for the past several years. We would not consider using anyone else. This company takes pride in their work each and every time and it shows. Thank you Carol, Clayton and the rest of the team for always responding so quickly to all our plumbing needs. Had a clogged shower drain that I couldn't unclog by augering it myself. Looked up plumbers on Yelp and after contacting a few with no answer, I tried JR's. Johnny picked up and said he could make it that day (Sunday).  

He came as promised and promptly unclogged the drain. He even gave me tips on how I could fix it if it should happen again.  Awesome.

Found out he could do my mother's shower remodel too!  Overall, I would definitely use them again.

Tony answered our inquiry right away on the Yelp app. He gave an upfront quote and also was able to schedule us on the next day which was Saturday. He came within the window he gave us and installed our new kitchen faucet within the hour. Fast, quality work, for a very reasonable price! We I'll definitely call him again!

This is the 5th time we've used 535 Plumming...and that should tell you something.  We have used a few other companies...but was never 100% satisfied...until now.  Archie and John were our plummers today.  They were running late...but communicated with me to let me know.  When they got here they went right to work.  Completed the job in about an hour...explained what they did (replaced our shower hot and cold water valve stems)...made recommendations...cleaned up...and were off.  Not only does 535 do good work...I feel their prices are some of the most reasonable and fair in the industry. So if you need a great plummer... call 535...you won't regret it.

Ed and his drywall contractor Darin did an awesome job on my leak above my ceiling.  Ed is top notch and is now my go to guy for plumbing issues.  Hard working braddah and goes out of his way to explain plumbing stuff in layman terms.  Prices are very fair!   Super nice guy too.  Mahalo Ed and Darin .

I am so happy that I went with these guys to do my bathroom! I had 8 different companies come look at my bathroom and all of them were way too overpriced and quoted me 2 weeks to finish! Glad I decided on this company. Alex, the owner gave me the best price and said he could finish my bathroom in a few days. His workers were very professional and fast. They even cleaned up after the bathroom was done! I will be using them for sure for my next home renovation!

Got an estimate for a hose bib the 3/4 90 was bent so wanted that replaced. They estimated $761. And change

What a ripoff

Got a decent quote from Jay.  Said he could be out between 7:30-8:00pm.  Great!  Asked for pics of my pipes, which I sent, then never heard from him again.  No, I can't make it tonight.  No Can I reschedule?  Just silence.  I even tried calling and he wouldn't answer the phone.  I could've spent that time finding a more reliable plumber.
