I HIGHLY recommend this company. I am a Resident Manager in Pualei Circle and worked directly with Chris on several occasions over the course of a week dealing with 2 separate units. He is very professional, timely, reliable, honest and a pleasure to work with. I will use him and refer him from now on at every opportunity. His apprentice, Danny, was very polite and professional as well. I also manage 2 other properties and feel very comfortable/relieved knowing I can count on him!

I wanted to give a Shout-Out to Shaka Plumbing, and the owner and this is probably 6 months or more late coming, thanks to Neil the owner, who came and replaced my Kitchen faucet and repaired my water lines, very nice, personable and dependable Plumber/Owner. I've known him since November 2014, I'd say he's one of a few Companies that I would recommend to service your plumbing needs.

I am amending my review to include my dissatisfaction regarding Pipe Masters' complete lack of follow-up of numerous calls and messages that I have left over the last two months regarding their erroneous assessments of our kitchen sink leakage and shoddy caulking.

1) On the first visit to our home, the plumber determined that the kitchen faucet was the cause of water leakage underneath our sink.  I also asked him about the caulking of our sink, which he said he would re-caulk.

2) A couple days later, the plumber installed the new faucet but did not re-caulk the sink.

3) Our kitchen sink continued to leak several days later.

4) The plumber returned and then said the sink would need to be re-caulked, which would now cost $150 plus tax (even though he said he was going to take care of it when he installed the new faucet, but failed to do so).  The plumber also said that the caulking would appear to be clear once it dried. Two months later, the caulking still looks like caked-on white toothpaste rubbed on the sink unevenly, certainly not professionally done.  We could easily have done a much better job ourselves with the caulking that took less than 5 minutes for the plumber to do.  

5) After paying the $157.07 for the plumber to re-caulk the sink, we continued to have sink leakage.

6) I requested that Pipe Masters send a different plumber, and the new plumber then determined that the sink would need to be replaced, and then the dishwasher valve could then be replaced as well.

7) Had we known this from the beginning, we wouldn't have spent $600+ to  install a new faucet (that might not be able to be re-installed once it's uninstalled), and we wouldn't have spent $157.07 to re-caulk the old sink since the sink needs to be replaced, not to mention how unsightly the caulking is in our kitchen).

This experience has been frustrating and drawn out.  Pipe Masters either does not have qualified plumbers who can assess plumbing issues correctly, or Pipe Masters is not operating in a good-faith manner.  Or perhaps it's a combination of both since Pipe Masters has not called me back or provided closure on this after I have called and left messages numerous times.

This is my response to Jason's response on 11/17 to my amended review:

1) Your claim that your company has responded to each and every call and voicemail is 100% false. I checked my voicemails and deleted voicemails and have not received any message from you to date.  I even emailed you and Arvin on Monday 11/14 to which neither of you replied.  Though somehow you managed to post a response to my amended yelp review on the same day.

2) I never agreed to doing future work nor will I agree to do future work with your company.   Which is why I refused to accept your company's offer of a credit to future work.

3) In hindsight, my initial review was done prematurely.  I had originally thought that the leakage issue was resolved when the new faucet was installed. The fact that the sink continued to leak several days after installation of the new faucet is reflective of the fact that the sink's issues were not properly assessed from the beginning. This is why I gave your company the opportunity to come back and resolve the issue- only to find out after a $157 shoddy caulking job that I would then need to replace the whole sink (which your company does not do).

We hired him to repair and paint our mailbox stand. The wood was rotten and it was falling apart. They rebuilt the mailbox stand, replacing the rotten wood and sealed everything and then painted it. They were professional and did an amazing job. I could not be happier with the results!

Excellent service. He returned phone call immediately and came the next day. He was very professional and kept us updated when he left to get parts. The fee was reasonable & we will call him again in the future if the need arises.

They responded quickly to my RFQ
and subsequently got the job which was completed to my satisfaction in a timely manner. Good job!

Had Nate and Mike out today for a slow draining shower. In short order they freed the stoppage and helped fix a sink issue as well. Highly recommended, from now on my company of choice!!! They offered to come early which I said yes! THANK YOU JBC!!!!!

I live in a building almost as old as me. Like me, parts of my unit are wearing out and malfunctioning. That was the story with the tub faucet. The original equipment was about 60 years old and the hot water went from a drip to a constant stream, with the heat creating stains and mold.

I asked the office who did a lot of work at our complex and the said Pono at MG Plumbing. It didn't take too long to get an appointment. The shower head was a mess too, so I asked Pono about a new shower head with a hose, which would make it easier for me. He said I could buy one, or he would. I asked him to get one for me. I have a mobility disability, so it's hard for me to shop in person. I looked at many options online, but ultimately I figured he would know best how to proceed.

He was on time and selected a moderately priced Kohler shower head. It attaches via a magnet, making it easier for me to detach and reattach. That's helpful for me not just because of the disability but also because I'm so short.

He finished the work quickly and even put up the new plastic liner and just-washed fabric curtain. Just taking down the nasty dirty moldy plastic liner and the fabric curtain which desperately needing washing was quite a struggle for me, so I was very grateful when he did the work for me when I asked.

He also prepared me for what would eventually come after this, once this fix wore out. (Let's just say I'd better start saving lots of money.)

Once the hot water stream was fixed, I was able to scrub the tub and bleach the mold away in bits and pieces over a couple of weeks, as my body allowed. Now the tub looks pretty darned good. Hopefully I look that good, too, as we both continue to age.

These guys saved me after an outside pipe broke at my house.

The first plumber I called (Banzai Plumbing) never showed for the appt. - and never called to let me know. I lost over half a day (and a hot shower) waiting for them.

Called Accurate the next AM, and they promised to be there by noon. Instead the plumber came several hours earlier and took care of my situation quickly and affordably.

Accurate will be my first call next time!.

Johnny was excellent all around. Responded to emergency quickly, diagnosed problem, and fixed it efficiently. Came back later in the week with Andy for more substantive repairs, and they both communicated excellently, did what they said when they said, and did a great job.

My radiator was pau. They responded to our call and arrived on time to evaluate situation. Then left to get new water heater back within the hour installed and we're out within an hour to install it. Didn't leave a mess. What more could you ask for  I highly recommend them!!!

I live in an old building and have had a lot of plumbers come in lately to do several different jobs, and the 535 guys were the best! Professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and personable. Will definitely be calling them in the future. Mahalo!

They came out to Laie to help connect a capped direct natural gas line into my propane BBQ.   Not sure if a conversion kit was used, but it seems to be working good enough.  Price was fair about $600.

5-Stars!  Creative Plumbing is our first choice for our family's properties and they always gets the job done!  We trust them to perform quickly, efficiently, reliably, and professionally for any bathroom or kitchen project.

I just needed a simple rewiring of a 220v outlet to 120v. Well, not quite so simple, considering the washer/dryer in front of the outlet had to be moved out of the closet first.

Alex looked at the outlet (behind the washer) and gave me a quote within minutes. Since his company did work in the building before, I didn't have to go through the hassle of submitting the license and insurance required by building management. Alex and his team completed the work within an hour the same week, at a reasonable price (neither the highest or the lowest).

I'm happy to discontinue using an extension cord for the washer/dryer unit.

Got an estimate for a hose bib the 3/4 90 was bent so wanted that replaced. They estimated $761. And change

What a ripoff

Got a decent quote from Jay.  Said he could be out between 7:30-8:00pm.  Great!  Asked for pics of my pipes, which I sent, then never heard from him again.  No, I can't make it tonight.  No Can I reschedule?  Just silence.  I even tried calling and he wouldn't answer the phone.  I could've spent that time finding a more reliable plumber.
