Had a clog that I was unable to solve on my own. Was able to get same-day service within a couple of hours and Mike S was able to quickly/professionally take care of it in under 20 minutes. The price was fair, and I will likely return to Power Plumbing for future services. Thanks!

Power plumbing is fantastic! I came home from work around 8 o'clock at night, and my toilet would not stop running after I flushed it.
I live in an old building which has toilets that a commercial which have no tanks.
Alan the service advisor that came out to fix was amazing!!!! He took care of it efficiently and quickly. I would recommend them to everyone.

Review for service only, not repair.

My neighbor used these guys and we saw the truck outside so I called them to help with a sump pump repair and to hydro jet drains in our garage and the 2 neighbors.

They came out to give me a quote. They sent MY quote to the neighbor. I had to call multiple times to get them to actually talk to ME vs her.

Then they said we had to wait a month for the hydro jet machine to be available, which we did.

Then they came out and said 'oh the drains can't be hydro jetted AND we misquoted you the size of the sump pump, now it's going to be double. We are sorry, the wrong guy came out the first time.'

Mind you, I had to coordinate 1 tenant and 2 neighbors for this date. Oh and they just left without saying anything to my tenants who were left wondering what was going on.

Not acceptable.

UPDATE: My original review is below, I just wanted to update it and say that Power Plumbing came through and I love them! Had Alan come out for another plumbing issue this morning, and as before he was wonderful. A bit pricey for a clogged shower ($254?), but they do a good job, are dependable, and are lovely to work with.

This review - so far - is only for Alan at Power Plumbing. He came out yesterday, fixed a long-standing plumbing problem, and was just great. He took his time to make sure he got it right, was here about three hours, worked inside my condo, but mostly was down in our garage opening and clearing pipes. Not fun. He was professional, kind and thorough. The work he did would fall under warranty for Power Plumbing's hydrojetting of our entire building three months ago, so as soon as I get the receipt from them (they use an iPad system so there are not receipts given at time of payment, they have to email them to you - so I requested a receipt yesterday but have not received anything yet), I shall submit the receipt to my HOA for them to reimburse. Should this prove difficult, I will absolutely remove this review and write a scathing 1-star review. Power Plumbing should be covering my service yesterday, as the pipes were blocked halfway down the garage, not anywhere near my unit. So, right now, this review stands at five stars and glowing...but PP now needs to make sure they reimburse me the $608.50 - via the HOA - for this service, and in a timely manner.

Really good experience with this company. The technician Jesus Torres was very professional, spent a lot of time inspecting my problem, answering my questions, and providing a timely and reasonable estimate.

I'm not on some mission to slam anyone I'm just showing the facts this is how our lobby was left today. Apartments listed for rent,  units for sale and we're so loyal to them. This is not loyalty rewarded.  So many struggling and this is the attitude they have.

We had Alan from Power Plumbing change our shower valve (in-wall) and he did a great job. Power Plumbing's fees were reasonable and Alan did great work. Alan took great care to keep everything clean despite the work requiring cutting and other debris. The work areas were totally clean when Alan left.

Alan didn't try to upsell at all. He told me about more conservative options and the risks and costs. He gave me practical recommendations which I appreciated.

He also fixed a leaking pipe elsewhere and did a great job with that too. In both cases, he left both areas totally clean and was very careful with turning water on and off to avoid other issues with our pipes.

My condominium building trusts Power Plumbing and recommended the company to me.  I trust my HOA president and took his advice!  When I called Power Plumbing, the front office staff were highly professional, friendly and helpful.  Manager Doug was highly professional and very kind.  The technician who came out to my place, Johnny Moreno, was highly professional, kind, considerate, thorough and went above and beyond in making sure everything was ok.  He took care of the problem efficiently and with a great attitude.  Highly recommend and will be calling this company for all my plumbing needs.

I had to call a plumber for my sisters house and fortunately, we contacted Power Plumbing. The technician  was quick and very knowledgeable. He explained the problem and explained step by step what was needed. I hope that we don't need service in the future, but if we do, we will use Power Plumbing.

The garbage disposal at my parent's home stopped working out of nowhere. Last minute I started looking for plumbers in the area and came across Power Plumbing.

David was the one who went to their home and took care of the issue within just a couple of minutes. He was very nice and polite, and also super professional.

He made sure to communicate to my parents what cause they disposal to stop working and gave them information on how to avoid that from happening again. Although if it ever does happen again, I would definitively ask to have David help again since my parents seemed to be really happy with his work :)

Three cheers for Mike S.! Mike single handedly saved a very rocky experience with Power Plumbing. There seems to be some major communication issues internally at this company, but thanks to Mike's patience and generosity, he was able to figure out our water heater problem. Alan was my technician today. He was on time and professional. He assisted with a difficult repair of an old and corroded faucet. He was able to troubleshoot all the issues and complete the repair. Would recommend him to others in the future!

I cannot recommend Power Plumbing highly enough. As a property manager who has constant plumbing needs, I consider Power Plumbing an invaluable part of our team. They respond to all of my needs, at all hours of the day, quickly and efficiently. I've worked with many plumbing companies in the past and Power Plumbing is by far the best. Their customer service is fantastic, their scheduling system makes my life so easy, they are fantastic with my tenants, and they do an excellent job of leaving work sites cleaner than when they found them.  Power Plumbing has an excellent staff who is not only very friendly, but most importantly can explain everything and make me feel very well taken care of. I'd give 10 stars if that were an option!

My landlord called this company to replace my toilet.  They installed a used toilet covered in urine and feces with inappropriate hardware.  When I complained they claimed my landlord did not redquest a new toilet...my landlord had to phone them and have them bring a new one in a box - unused.  DISGUSTING

I needed to replace my kitchen faucet and cold water angle stop. Julian did the repairs. He was excellent! He was on-time, professional, friendly, and did a great job with the repairs. I will definitely call them again for any future repairs and I'll be sure to request Julian. Highly recommend!

We have used Power Plumbing for over a decade for our HOA service and repairs.  They recently sold the company and the new management is decidedly uninterested in providing service at a fair price.  We are looking for new plumbers now.  This is too bad, because the individual workmen who've been doing the actual service are good guys.  Hope they find a better employer.

Power Plumbing deliver a fantastic service. They are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about any plumbing issues. Juan and Marcus were able to resolve a clogged patio drain with experience and expertise. I would highly recommend using them in the future!

Building HOA contracts with Power Plumbing, so called them to look into a hot water issue so I can send an estimate to the owner of the unit for direct billing and get it fixed. Scheduled for a 4 hour window. Office called toward the end of it/day and said plumber would be there in 30 minutes. He was more than an hour away allegedly.

Plumber was a sub-contractor who tried the hard sell and kept saying to make sure they send him specifically when the work gets done. Also wanted to charge $100 above cost for a part (I looked up the part number). Said he would put together an estimate and have it emailed. Didn't happened. Called office 3x the next day and still no estimate. Called a week later to get my $99 consultation fee back and spoke to GM who said he would get back to me by the next day. Hasn't happened and I'm out the money.

Only business review I've left anywhere.

We've been having issues with our plumbing for awhile, Michael A is a hero....he is taking care of it ALL!! Very nice & helpful with questions...this company rocks!! Super grateful!!

I am the President of Angelica Townhome IV Association. Today, 2 plumbers from Power Plumbing - Juan & William -spent hours- from around 9 AM until past 7 PM- cleaning our sump pumps & drains - completing everything asked of them- beautifully! They were cheerful, thorough, competent - and came prepared. We had a river in our parking garage- it is all cleared out now -along with walkways that were about 10 inches deep in water. They made recommendations- plus we will be having more work done - we have future plans! I am so grateful they came! Thanks guys!

Called Power Plumbing to come out and fix a leaking toilet that another plumber had failed to repair properly.  @Johnny Moreno arrived and was able to quickly diagnose and repair the problem.  Johnny then went through ALL our plumbing, at no cost, looking for issues that might crop up in the future.  We appreciated his thoroughness and great sense of humor.   Happy to recommend both Johnny and Power Plumbing.

Michael S. from PowerPlumbing did a great job fixing my toilet when the fill valve broke.  He is very professional and easy to work.  I recommend asking for Michael S. when hiring PowerPlumbing. I have to re-do my plumbing in my kitchen in couple of months and I will definitely hire Michael S. PowerPlumbing again.

Excellent company and service.  We have gone to several other plumbing companies in the past but this company and its personnel stand out above and beyond.   We had a variety of issues over the past--drainage, showers, sinks etc.   Power's work was always terrific.  On the last go around, I must thank Carlos Y. and Alan M., who each gave every effort (even during off-hours) to help us with a sink issue.   Another company would have just kicked it to later in the week.  Instead Power, Carlos, Alan, and Rosie each contributed their own personal efforts to get our sink issue resolved right away.  We are grateful to them for how much they care about their work and the customers.  Thank you!

Our shower started backing up and no matter how much I snaked and plunged, I was unable to clear the clog. Power plumbing called to clarify what needed to be done.  I had asked for a camera to see what the blockage was which would have cost more. They were great at explaining that a camera couldn't be used but that they would come and assess the issue. Jorge was amazing and was able to clear the clog with his 50 ft snake. He even gave me some tips on other plumbing issues. I 100% recommend them and especially Jorge, if he's available.

Had both bathroom showers backing up. Not an easy fix. Had to be snaked from the underground parking. Julien figured it all out and had a great attitude the entire time. Such a great guy I actually enjoyed chatting with him as he brilliantly fixed my drains.  My HOA pays for this, so I have no idea how much they charge.  LOL But my HOA is very frugal so I'm sure they wouldn't pay for a company that over charged.

Julian was prompt, effective, and professional. I really appreciate his work.  The scheduling staff were courteous and they called to update me on Julian's estimated time of arrival.

Julian Diaz showed up on the early side of the expected window of arrival and very patiently waited for as I didn't initially hear him at the door. Then was very lovely and helpful as he quickly resolved an issue with my toilet that was preventing it from flushing. On his way out, he was even able to clearly explain to me what had gone wrong, which I always love to know. Thanks so much for the help!

Victor was great to work with. We had a major water leak on our main community water line that a previous plumber failed to fix on multiple occasions. Victor and his team completed their work in a fraction of the time and provided helpful updates along the way. I'd be happy to use them again.

They came and fixed BUT it was a super shady experience. The tech who came was nice and honest but his 2 bosses back at the office were pressing him to REBUILD my whole toilet. They wanted to charge me $600 for no reason. I said no and just paid their $100 fee when they just fixed a simple flapper. I would be wary of sending these people to others. They seem to want to be shady and just do extra work people dont need. They didnt even want to explain why i need a whole new toilet. Safe to say ill never use them again

Would NOT recommend Power Plumbing, you will pay MUCH higher rates than other plumbing companies out there. It was pretty simple plumbing work such as a leaky faucet. They gave me an estimate of more than triple the price of other plumbers. They asked me $550 just to replace the new kitchen faucet with a new faucet, $385 to install a provided faucet, or $225 to repair the current faucet. Do not even try to get a quote from them. They charged $99 just to get an estimate. Non-refundable, you can definitely find a much more affordable plumber out there.

There was a leaky pipe in the parking garage of our building and Victor and Mike A. came out and were able to minimize the hole in our wall that needed to be removed to address the pipe repair. They were very pleasant and professional and they completed the job within a reasonable time frame. A very good experience.

Our apartment needed a new water heater. Michael and Jerry came out and installed a new one! Extremely polite, professional and knowledgeable. Answered all of my questions. Definitely recommend this company and its employees. Thank you  Michael and Jerry !!

Unreliable. We were  told they were on their way and they never turned up for an emergency plumbing issue.

This was the first time I used Power Plumbing and I'd highly recommend them. David was an amazing plumber to work with as he assessed my clogged bathroom sink and clogged shower drains right on the spot and explained everything he was doing in great detail, which I very much appreciated. Last night the shower would not turn off. The apartment management company was helpful, but nothing could be done because the late hour prevented notification of the water turn off for the other tenants. First thing this morning, April, from Power Plumbing was on it! She quickly navigated the process for the emergency turn off notifications for the building and had a plumber out in less than two hours. George, the plumber, was 100% spot on professional. I could not have asked for a more efficient, professional and courteous solution to a serious problem. THANK YOU!!!

I can't say enough good things about Julian Lopez at Power Plumbing. Our association has been using Power Plumbing for years as one of the most reliable and trustworthy contractors in our rolodex. Julian came out to work on what we thought was a minor clogged drain line but ended up being a larger issue which required multiple visits. Julian was patient and thorough and went above and beyond to make sure that our issues were resolved. The clog in the drain was difficult to identify (we are a condo association) as there are many lines that intersect. Considering the flooding disaster that I was dealing with inside my home, Julian and Power Plumbing really saved the day with their responsiveness and willingness to get the job done quickly before I lost my mind. Julian is one of the finest examples of an honest, good natured, friendly, competent contractor that I have met over the years as president of my association. Eddie at Power Plumbing and Marcial get honorable mentions but Julian thank you for saving the day and for your calming and caring attitude.

GO ELSEWHERE. The woman who answers the phone/receptionist is extremely RUDE. She hates her job and you can tell. Didn't even bother booking a repair because she gave such horrible customer service. Take your money elsewhere.

I have to say that hands down David Hernandez from Power Plumbing is the best plumber in town. He is very knowledgeable, efficient and works hard to ensure the best quality work. They are a bit pricier than other plumbers but their quality speaks for itself and they really stand behind their work and give a 30 day guarantee that if something's leaking or not right they will come out and fix it at no charge. David relentlessly worked on solving quite a few plumbing issues (faulty dishwasher, installing a new water filtration system, fixing leaks and adding shut off valves, etc) and did it perfectly and without complaining. I highly recommend David for any plumbing needs you may have!!! I will definitely use him again if and when needed!

The owner is still lying. There was no gas leak and your people did not reinstall our washer and dryer. You are just trying to save face. We had to pay another plumber to finish job you started and the appliance company came back out to install machines. Just a bunch of BS!!

My sink was not draining water and Power Plumbing came in to change out the pipe and snake the pipe. Both Art and Michael S were AMAZING!!! Could not have had a better experience. They had some challenges with the snaking but eventually fixed the problem at hand and left my flat with the kitchen sink area looking cleaner than it was before. Thank you for all your work in getting me a functioning sink! I will definitely be using you guys again.

My toilet wasn't working for over a few days. Called the management company and finally coordinated it for Friday, today. Management has changed hands and it was out with the old. The old company had plumbers, carpenters, but the new one has more professional personnel. If you want to know, it's Daniel Glaser management. 5 stars to them, too. Rudy from power plumbing came. Timely, within the given window. Professional, quick, got things done in an hour. Changed my toilet and it is so nice. And white and sparkly! So Thankful to Rudy. Experienced (judged by quality work done) restpectful, knowledgeable and explained what he was going to do in steps. So happy with his service. 10 stars for Rudy.

My water pressure regulator was leaking and my water heater was making a loud whistling noise.  I shut off my water and contacted Power Plumbing. I spoke to David and sent him pictures of my pressure regulator. He knew exactly what the problem was and sent me an invoice with details on what needed to be fixed. We were able to set up an appointment for the following day. Thank you David for all your help!

OMG, this company is the best! Mike S. arrived in the middle of the night (around 2 am) after our upstairs neighbor's kitchen sink completely clogged up. Not only did he fix their issue, but he came downstairs to our unit to make sure that we had no issues as a result of their issues - as everyone knows, plumbing problems sink to the lowest unit involved. He was knowledgeable, caring, friendly, and really invested in making sure that our problems were solved in every unit. Mike S. is an asset to this company - A plus-plus service!!

Greg did a great job replacing the refrigerator saddle water shut off  valve with a 1/4th  turn angle stop.  .

Called to get a kitchen sink unclogged. Guy came in, looked at the pipes under my sink and tried to look at pipes under my unit (by there are none). Then he started snaking it and after 3 or so tries managed to get a piece of plastic paper out. Yay! The guy was great and did the job very well! I was afraid he wouldn't be able to get anything, but he kept trying till he got it, so I am very happy about that!
It cost a bit more than I thought it would. $100 for a service fee that apparently does not go towards the actual services rendered. So then another $284 to actually do the snaking... so $384 for the whole thing. I would have thought the $100 service fee would go towards the work, which would have made the cost more acceptable.

Victor helped us out today in Santa Monica. He diagnosed the sitch right away. After several repair calls over the past few months, Victor was the only to really understand and solve things for good.

I'm a board member of an HOA and had a helluva time getting a plumber out to the property. Power Plumbing was able to come out the next morning. This company has been excellent

The owner often picks up incoming calls and takes the time to discuss the scope of work. They show up exactly when said they would for both days of a major job that was an emergency.

Mike the plumber explains everything in detail and answers questions in a way that the client can understand.

There has been a leak issue with the residential units above me and Power Plumbing has been called in by the property manager to fix it. Last time, Victor came in and fixed the issues above my shower and there hasn't been a leakage since! They were pretty quick and efficient in getting it done, and courteous as well. So I was very happy with the service they provided.

Power Plumbing came out to fix my water pressure.  They replaced the hot and cold lines and the problem is now fixed.  Victor was great, he explained what would be done and how long it would take. I had many questions and he answered them all.  His team, Abraham and Moses did a great job.  They were all professional and very well informed.  After they were done, they cleaned up eveything very nicely, as they had to cut into the wall to reach the pipes.
I called the company to let their boss how great they were.  April took the call and she very helpful.  I spoke to the boss Doug and he was very happy to hear all my praises.  He said my call would make their day.  
I look forward to them coming back to replace the toilet water line.  I will post a review on that job soon.

I had a leak in the front yard of my house where the hose plugs in. There was a puddle of water that filled daily in the same area. I had my gardener check it and it wasn't an issue with the sprinklers. We called Power Plumbing and Edwin showed up. He legit knows his stuff along with Armen and one more individual I don't recall their name. They were honest and dependable and got the job done in a day. They helped me save money too because the copper piping they laid down was only needed for 10 ft out vs. the 15-30 feet some would have said to replace. That was around a 2k savings. I appreciate their honesty and the great job they did. I would recommend them to anyone. I'll make sure to use them for any future issues we may have as well.

Power Plumbing came into an emergency plumbing situation and did a great job!  Victor and Daniel were super friendly and knowledgeable, plus they worked very efficiently and fixed the problem in no time :)

Victor showed up and was so incredibly helpful!  I have a few different issues going on and he was so kind and willing to go the extra mile!  Polite, knowledgeable and wore a mask! I was very happy with this company and will most definitely be using them again.

We've used Power Plumbing for the last twenty years, and they've always fixed the problem no matter what. Their guys that have come out to resolve the issues , have always been courteous and knowledgeable.
During the heavy rains recently, our backyard drains totally clogged up. If it wasn't for Power Plumbing's fast response, our backyard would have flooded.

As with any company you have your detailed people and not so detailed people. I am giving the five star rating to one of their technicians Mike S. He has been doing plumbing for 19 years and has been with this company for 14 years. He was trained the old-school way of how to approach plumbing problems. This was instrumental as we had a technician come out who forgot to turn a valve back on which caused a lack of hot water. This time the company sent Mike S. For another plumbing issue and he noticed that a valve had not been turned on...when he turned it on hot water was restored. He should be commended for his efforts!

I was totally ripped off by power plumbing. I tried very hard to work with them and they left me with no choice but to post this review.

To keep it short, I had them come out a year ago to check the water pressure. They convinced me I should redo my sprinkler system with bubblers instead of the existing drip irrigation. They did the job, $2000 later it worked fine but not especially well (bubblers were no good, replaced w sprinkler heads that kept breaking). Since then I've had nothing but leaks and breakage and power plumbing consistently ignored my requests for repair. I waited a few months and called them again and they sent someone out who contacted the owner. The owner said the work was still under warranty and they would send someone to finally fix it. Great. I reached out again, scheduled a guy to come out who looked at the system they had installed a year earlier and said they didn't do the work so it was not actually under warranty. I tried to explain it absolutely was their work as I was there, witness to it's installation a year ago. It's just been nonstop back and forth with varying accounts and unclear answers. I can't get anyone who actually knows what's going on to deal with it.
So basically it's still broken, it's been impossible to hold anyone here accountable for their work. They've consistently dodged my calls and placed the blame on the original workers who installed (who have since left the company).
Anyway, long story short, please don't use them.

Victor and Greg at Power Plumbing are the best. I use them at my home and refer them to my friends.  Recently, I have been taking care of a friend's home while they were away.  We had two major water leaks due to drought and excessive heat.  They came out and diagnosed the problem, explained the problem to me, offered a solution, and kept their promise on the results.  They are always on time, so I am never waiting around all day for a plumber. They come prepared with everything to get the job done.  It is always done the first time correctly.

My dishwasher started leaking a lot of water on a Friday afternoon. I was worried I'd have to go the whole weekend without being able to wash my dishes. I was so happy that Victor was able to come out within an hour of calling in the leak. Victor immediately pinpointed the problem and was able to fix it right away.

Great company!  I rarely have the time to write any reviews but I had to today.  I have not had a working kitchen sink for 5 days.  As a single mom with 2 little kids, you can only imagine how many dishes that is, and the washing machine is also connected to the same pipe so the laundry was also piling up.

On Friday one plumber showed up, late, bored, and annoyed.  He used a snake, went in 20 feet, it didn't work, he shrugged and left.

Today Hugo showed up.  He was on time, pleasant, smiled and was eager to help.  You can always tell when someone likes the company that they work for because their attitude comes through!  He snaked the drain, and explained that the last person probably had the snake go up the pipes to the roof and not down to the unit below.  He did the job perfectly and in record time.  

I am never using anyone else.  Thank you Hugo for coming to my rescue and for being so knowledgable, friendly, and on-time!!!!

Victor and the team at Power Plumbing absolutely knocked it out of the park. 5-star service all the way from start to finish. He and his team arrived on site the same day we called to assess the issue and offer solutions. Our home was built in 1963 and had the original cast iron pipe. We knew the day would come where we would need to replace it and it was time. Victor went above and beyond to get us up and running again and worked efficiently with his team to make everything good as new. I had a dripping kitchen faucet. Our bldg management sent Power Plumbing. The technician looked at it and said I needed a new faucet but he only had one with a straight nozzle on his truck and mine was a high curved one. He went out to the truck to call management on his cell phone. Shortly afterward when I went to his truck to ask about the faucet he had with him he told me he would have to come do the work the next day bc he would have to shut off  the bldg water and mgmt wanted  to give tenants advance notice.
The next day he showed up without the 1/2 hr advance call they had promised and he woke me up.
I left him to do the work in my small kitchen. When he finished I was shocked to see he had installed the straight faucet. He claimed there weren't any curved ones available. He left. It turns out the faucet he installed is WAY TOO SHORT - the water hardly reaches into the back corner of my sink  - plus it's a double sink ( see photos). And it's inferior quality - cheap! The handles are already coming loose after only a few days.
I reported it to the plumbing company who keeps telling me I have to talk to our manager. And the manager's reply is It's paid for and it's working. I've been played by both the technician who installed junk and then lied to me about not being able to find any curved faucets and our bldg manager who had texted me the night before this tech's visit that he was doing me a favor by allowing the curved faucet be installed - same as what I already had.
Btw the same tech also replaced the dripping faucet in our laundry rm utlity tub w the exact same type of faucet!
I wouldn't hire this company to do any work.

NOTE TO OWNER OF PP : And WHO instructed your technician to lie to me about not being able to find a curved faucet? And even if you were told by management to install a straight faucet it should've been long enough to reach farther into my big sink than just the one corner, and not such junky quality that the handles are already loose. The only reason you had work here is because I had a leaky faucet and also reported the leaky faucet in the laundry room to management so don't denigrate my opinion of your company. Funny that your technician didn't really check out the original kitchen faucet before declaring it had to be replaced - rather than repaired.

It was my first time using Power Plumbing. I found their name on the internet. They sent Victor to my house to replace my 40 gallon water heater. One of the best things was that Victor was on time and wore a mask. I really appreciated the fact that he was on time and that I did not have to wait. Victor asked me if I would consider a Noritz tankless water heater. I was beyond happy as this is what I really wanted. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and had a great attitude. After he was done, Victor cleaned up the area he worked in. Ultimately, he did an amazing job and is an awesome worker! I would highly recommend Power Plumbing to my family and friends. Victor came out today to address a few issues at my condo building. He was patient, thorough and fixed two issues that two other plumbers could not fix. 5 stars, highly recommend.

Incompetent crew. The mainline pipe broke, after pocking in it all day, they fixed it. In the morning we lost water pressure again because whatever they fixed fell apart. You are lucky if you had a good experience with these guys, we are days without water now.

Update: Second attempt by Power Plumbing to fix the leak ended up as a pathetic failure and the second fix fell apart. Result: many families are without water for three days. The only good news is that HOA finally realized that they need to hire somebody competent.

I would not recommend this company.  We had a plumbing issue on our condo patio and the only reason we used Power Plumbing was they were the preferred vendor for the building.  It appears that the work was done okay but their office staff is a mess.  It took me several weeks and multiple phone calls to get a return call to set up an appointment for them to come look at the project.  Once the project was started, my phone calls to the company to request information such as when a part would be in, were often not returned.  Several weeks after the project was completed they called to ask for payment.  I told them I had never received a bill!  Once I got the bill, I had some questions and sent them an email as well as asked the questions over the phone.  It's been 3 days and no one has called me back.  I would have given it one star but it appears the work was done okay.  I have informed the building manager of the problems with the office staff and recommended that the building find another plumber.

The worst plumbing service ever. They never come on time and they lie about showing up claiming that they knocked while my desk was two feet Away from the door. The door has a bell and they can always call. It's been two months since they are supposed to come and take care of a leak

I have home in Magnolia Park, Burbank, Ca.  I accidentually flushed a Mr. Clean eraser spong.  I saw an ad in a flyer quoting 25$ off any plumbing stoppage.  The guy comes in with his snake and puts it down the toliet.  I was standing right next to him.  He wasn't there more
than 15 minutes.  He tells me I need them to put a camera in the crawl space and on and on.  When he gave me the bill for 170.00, I thought he must be confused.  No, he was serious.  This was like nothing I have ever seen.  Today, I went to Do-it-Ctr and for seven bucks, I got a snake and my toliet works perfectly.  This company should be put out of business immediately.  I recommend that nobody do any business with this POWER PLUMBING company.

My husband ran over the irrigation main as we were trying to get out of town and Power Plumbing came to the rescue within the hour. Not only did Mike get our water back on, he quickly changed out a valve so we ended off better than before. They wore masks, were clean, knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend!

I have worked on different projects with Power Plumbing and have been impressed with Tim and Jason. They have communicated with me on every step especially since I have used them during emergency hours. They are polite and very knowledgable. I would most definitely use them again.

Victor was super thorough and most importantly, fixed the very hard to access pipe that was leaking! He explained what was going on at each step and went above and beyond to get it fixed. Very happy customer.

Jorge and others from Power Plumbing were working on a pipe leak in my condo's garage. At the time they were there I noticed a leak from my washer's recess box. I went downstairs and asked Jorge if he could take a look at it. He immediately came up to my condo, was able to tell me exactly what needed to be done, and gave me a quote. Because he didn't think the situation was critical, I got quotes from two other plumbing companies. Their quotes were higher, and one wasn't sure exactly how to proceed. I called Power Plumbing to schedule the job, asking specifically for Jorge. Jorge was on time and calmly persisted in completing the work despite numerous complications. He cleaned up thoroughly and was friendly throughout. I intend to call Power Plumbing for future plumbing needs and will ask for Jorge.

Power plumbing was sent by my HOA to my place to fix a leak caused by my shower drain in the parking space area. They gave me an estimate of $1400 plus $300 for parts $300. I got another estimate from a licensed bonded plumber for $450 plus $80 for parts. Naturally I had the second plumber to come fix the issues. So be ware they charge you triple the price other plumbers would charge. If requested I can provide both estimates and final bill that I paid.

Have to say great guys! They were working at the building next door, and my management company was supposed to send a plumber at the same time, they didnt show up.. I thought Power was the correct guys.. so I went to talk with them. They knew they weren't but still took the time (on their lunch break) to hear my issue and Victor actually came in and helped me real quick with my garbage disposal so my place won't completely stink.. I would recommend them!

Power Plumbing has been coming to my home now for 18 years.  In my first experience they proved to be extremely smart and knowledgeable, they helped me make wise choices for a bathroom remodel and laundry plumbing install. Ever since that first experience, I will only call Power Plumbing. The guys who come out to fix the problems that arise are always kind, efficient, and know what they are doing. And the team in the office are always caring and help you get scheduled quickly in an emergency. Highly recommend!

I was referred to Power Plumbing from a friend. My kitchen sink pipes were leaking. They came out the same day.  The repair was done in a timely manner and I was very satisfied with the quality of the work. I had a question regarding the job and contacted them the following day. These guys are great!! They take care of the plumbing in my apartment building and came out right away when my drains were clogged. They are professional and do a great job. Also knowledgeable and smart. 5/5 would recommend!

We had a deep kitchen sink drain clog that persisted even after I removed the P trap and messed up some of the pipes below the sink in the process, including breaking the P trap. Mike and Alan came from power plumbing and not only snaked and cleared the clog but also fixed the mess I made under the sink, which ended up being quite a task. They were both very friendly, professional, and considerate. They even cleaned up the area very nicely after they were done. Really nice guys and they did a great job!

Power Plumbing did a first-rate, totally professional job replacing a stack in my condo building. It was quite an intricate job as it required aligning six different units to co-operate. Victor and his team couldn't have handled the situation with more finesse and technical proficiency. One of the neighbors was particulary difficult in accessing their unit , and Victor and his team were extremely diplomatic and flexible in getting the job done flawlessly.

24 hours later and work done by Power Plumbing has now caused a leak in my ceiling. Had to hire a different plumbing company to fix their work. While this company was responsive about a discount to my initial issue with pricing, I did not expect to need to call another company to fix what I called them to do in the first place.

Our HOA/Management in Park Encino uses Power Plumbing. Power Plumbing has failed to address the plumbing issue affecting our unit after several times that they were sent here. HOA has paid thousands of dollars and the issue is still not solved. They are very incompetent in diagnosing what the problem is. They change stuff and you would think they actually fixed the issue, but nope, the leakage continues a few days later.

Had a couple of plumbing issues in my building and they called Power Plumbing to save me!  Dan was the one that took the call and he got to my place lightning fast and had all the equipment I needed in my home for a quick fix!

Very knowledgeable, polite and quick in the process.

I have used PP ALOT. I feel like I know these guys really well from all the times I have used them. I really like the employees they have EXCEPT FOR ONE.

I am really unhappy with Rico. I have had him come work at the house several times and each time I am never happy with the quality of the work he does. He will go get a part and come back HOURSSSS later. Yes I called his company to complain. He is too creepy for me.

He rang the door bell and stood off to the side so I literally had to walk outside and look to see who rang my damn doorbell. HE JUST STOOD OFF TO THE SIDE SO CREEPY and didn't say anything until I said hello?. It was weird.

Another time he came back to the house after getting a part but came through the back and started working. He didn't even tell me he had come back! It was 8pm at night and I was putting my kids to bed on Good Friday, and I found him in my house. It was just weird. I told my husband to not have him come back bc he creeps me out.  

But low and behold, he came to my house again today. I was furious bc I thought this was already addressed that he is not to come.

We had a leak in the bathroom and he was to change the faucets- but charged such a high price 600$+, we turned down the service. He offered a 50 dollar discount, but I'm not here to bargain or play those stupid games. So when I told him I will not be needing his services- he got all huffy puffy and took his buckets and walked out of the door hitting my walls on the way out. He even had the nerve to ask well why did u even call us out??

I CALLED PP OUT TO SEE IF I HAD A PROBLEMATIC LEAK AND TO GET A QUOTE ON CHANGING THE FAUCETS. That does NOT guarantee that I have to use your overpriced service charge or even ur company for that matter. Sheesh, why did I call u out he asked! How rude!

Anyways, I paid him for his service call of 42.50, but he was acting very childish, as if I had wasted his time. Most of the power plumbing guys will call my husband on THEIR phone because they say they are dirty and don't want to touch my phone and get it dirty. They also wear shoe covers so they don't get my floor dirty.  I like that. EXCEPT RICO. He touches my phone when talking to my husband with his dirty hands, does not ever have shoe covers, makes a fu king mess and cleans up half ass. Not to mention, one time on his way out of my house- he touched the top of my kids head with his dirty open glove like patting him on the head to say bye. WTF DUDE? Don't touch my kids with ur dirty ass gloves and hey- don't touch my kids PERIOD!

One time he even brought up religion. This guy is so bizarre. I would recommend POWER PLUMBING, but when u call make sure u ask that RICO doesn't come work. There are a handful of really qualified RESPECTFUL guys that work for this company and I have no idea why they have this guy RICO still.

Also, most of the guys will call us and say hey we are 10 min away, which I really like. But noooooo.... RICO will call with one ring. Then hang up. And a second later he is knocking at your door. WHY ARE U SO WEIRD? Please DO NOT SEND HIM TO MY HOUSE EVER AGAIN.

I had wrote a check to victor at power plumbing for 885 to change my hose bibbs. That day his truck got stolen and they asked me to cancel the check and write a new one. So today when RICO came, I told him I need to add 885 onto the 42.50 service charge that he was charging and he wanted me to write 2 SEPARATE CHECKS. No. it's going to the same place POWER PLUMBING. I am writing one check. WHY WAS THIS EVEN AN ISSUE? the guy RICO is too weird for me. When I asked if victor was ok he responded I don't know about his head or his heart. WTF? Victor had his truck stolen and I was concerned if victor was ok. What a STRANGE ANSWER! A simple yes or no would have been fine. But RICO said he doesn't know about victors head or heart? WTF ARE U TALKING ABOUT?

I really like victor, Alex, John, jack, dan, all the guys EXCEPT RICO. Rico is SUPER SLOW AND HIS WORK IS SUBPAR. I always have to call power plumbing back out after RICO has been working at my house. Save yourselves the hassle. Rico even asks is ur air conditioning on- it's so hot in here. Really dude? I have a 2 month old baby. It's a little warm bc my child, get over it. He will also ask for water, which I have no problem handing out, but it's interesting that NONE OF THE OTHER GUYS ever comp about the temp of my house, or ask for anything!

Rico- why do U always take ur lunch break in the middle of working at our house. This has happened SEVERAL TIMES. U are gone an hour for lunch, and then it takes u 1 or 2 hours on top of that to go get parts far away...  that ties up the customers day. Please eat before or after starting a job. Last time he came back after I complained, he told me that I had got him in trouble for complaining about how long he was taking to get parts. It's just really awkward with him.

We had an emergency plumbing issue. We called another plumber on Yelp but they were not able to fix the issue. We called Victor around midnight and he came out right away! He fixed the issue very quickly. Very happy!

Had a gas leak in multiple areas of the gas line in my house. They responded and got it fix the next day.

Great service. Victor did an outstanding job. On time and explained everything. Recommend highly

I've used Power Plumbing three or four times over the past two years and I've been impressed with their plumbers. They've installed a new garbage disposal for me, fixed a leaking toilet (twice!) and leaking spigots all very professionally. But the last two times I've called there is seriously something lacking in the customer service dept. The not-very-enthusiastic receptionist tells me someone will be by from 10am-12pm but by 4pm, no one has called or shown up. When I finally call to find out if anyone's coming, she put me on hold for a few minutes then tells me that someone will come out in 40 minutes. The first time this happened, I said okay and let the plumber in the door around 5:15 pm. The second time, which was today, I said skip it, I'll find a new plumber.

Came out Christmas Eve and Jason fixed in less an an hour!
Someone hit my driveway spigot with their car, and broke it off, spewing water all over.  Had to turn off the water to my condo.  Jason, with Power Plumbing, was there within a half hour, and replaced the pipe and spigot in less than an hour.  Nice guy, too.  Thanks to him, I had my water back on in no time!

I really don't like giving negative reviews, but the experience I had with Power Plumbing's tech was not positive.

The tech came out because we had a leak into one of our cabinets. After looking around perplexed, the tech went into the attic to see if he could find any wet, leaking pipes. Bizarrely, the original, fair service charge of $195 all of a suddent increased to $275 because the tech had to go into the attic. In all my years of home ownership, I never heard of a surcharge for a plumber needing to go into an attic.

The worst part is that the tech couldn't find the shut off for the refrigerator (whose line he suspected was causing the issue) even though it turns out it was right behind the refrigerator. (Which another plumber the next day figured out in five minutes.)

Slightly in the tech's defense, when I expressed my shock at the upcharge for the attic, he did give me a discount but this is not how I like to do business.

Power plumbing was referred to me by one of my coworkers. They responded quickly and gave me reasonable prices. The service tech that they sent was very polite , knowledgeable, respectful and got the job done in timely fashion manner. My clients were also happy with the plumbers. I believe his name was Victor , very good guy.  I recommend power plumbing very honest company !

The neck to my kitchen faucet came off in to my hand as I was moving the sprayer around. I couldn't believe it! The water was busting up and out the faucet going everywhere. The management company sent over Victor from the P.P.  He was professsional, knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. Though he was fast I did not feel rushed to make any decisions. He was neat and kept the area clean as he worked to replace the new faucet. I happen to be in property management and work with vendors all the time. Victor is definitely the one to call for any plumbing problems you may have. Thanks for your help Victor!

Thanks to April and Dan my faith in Power Plumbing has been reinstated after a mediocre initial experience!
We had a toilet to snake and a low water pressure faucet in the bathroom.
At the first visit we encountered a hardly motivated plumber (the kind where you constantly feel apologizing for your existence) and paid over $250 to open the clogged toilet. He never addressed the low water pressure.
Surprise, surprise, the toilet was clogged again a day later, and I asked for a different plumber this time.
Dan was real nice and competent. He took care of us, and this is my way of saying 'Thanks'!

Power Plumbing saved my day, I had a plumbing issue recently related to my kitchen sink at my condo.  They were able to help accommodate me quickly to fix the issue. My issue was a kitchen sink where there was some sort of dirty filthy water gradually rising where it literally was about to pour out to my kitchen floor.

Power plumbing had a great sense of urgency and was able to send someone quick . My plumber was Dan who provided excellent service.  He acted quickly in draining the water.  While he was fixing the issue, he was explaining to me the cause of the issues and showing me step by step to keep me in the loop of the process and what the cause was.  Once the issue was fixed, which was a clogged pipe, Dan was also very diligent in cleaning the mess wiping down any collateral damage of the nasty sludge from the pipes below my sink.  I didn't have to do any other clean up since he made sure everything was back to normal the way it was.  He also stayed a few minutes after to allow the water run to make sure there was no more water backing up.  Will definitely recommended these plumbers and i will most definitely be using them again!

I WAS IN DESPERATE NEED OF A PLUMBER FOR AN EMERGENCY SITUATION THAT OCCURRED THIS MORNING...My bath tub was filled with water...from a clogged drain in the garage of the building..Power Plumbing was called by the management company around 11 and by 3 this afternoon....problem solved..Greg, the technician who came to the rescue was awesome!!He called before he came,,,fixed the hair clogged drain..and saved the day...and me ..I could not be more pleased..and was so grateful to this company for sending Greg out so quickly..We will be keeping this companys number on file for sure...and they are a Family run business, which is always my preference to support..Thanks again..I  can now feel the stress leaving like the water!!

I'm just beside myself  !! Power Plumbing is a all around GREAT company ! From the customer service to the knowledgeable men that really know there stuff. Being a Property Manager I see all of them quite often. They come in( on time)  & handle the problem! They really do a great job & truly deserve the credit!! this is the second plumber I had to call for the same issue, I'm happy it's finally fixed.  I was impressed by how fast they were able to respond.  Dan was very helpful, thorough, clean, and very professional.  Highly recommend him and his company.

Our HOA sent out Power Plumbing to solve emergency flooding that we had due to the recent rain storm. Their plumber Dan did a great job. He listened to my lengthy description of the issues and dealt with all my concerns. Thanks Dan, if you read this.

Many thanks to Dan who came out late at night and worked hard to clear a blockage in the main drain line of our house. Professional, courteous, and cost effective.

Edward, your technician assured me that I would not be charged, encouraged me to contact a plumber during normal business hours, and did not resolve the issue. He was there for less than 2 minutes and did no work. If I had known I would be charged for the after hours call, I would have had him stay and perform the work. I would not have paid someone else to do it the following day in addition to paying for the after hours call.

As the owner of Power Plumbing, you had - and still have - the opportunity to do right by your customer who was charged these fees (me, not the HOA). You could easily void the after hours call charge because that is what your technician assured me would happen. You can still pull this charge out from collections and off my credit report. Or even offer to split the difference with me given your technician's mistake. Please let me know what you're willing to do to take care of your customer and I will update my review accordingly.

The dynamic duo of Mike and Rudy are plumbing super heroes. They defeated a clog that 2 other plumbing companies gave up on. Enough nice things cannot be said, the specific thing that sticks in my head is Mike saying I love a challenge after being told that 2 other plumbers failed at the task. He and Rudy approached the job with uncommon enthusiasm and pride. Thank you fellas for the superb service and for, not giving up (it took 5 hours) and for succeeding where to others failed.

Excellent service!! Jack is a great plumber, he was on time and did the job swiftly. He made sure that we were happy with the service and made sure that our apartment manager didn't skimp us out on a new shower lever handle and faucet. Super great guy A+.

We've been using Jason in our condo complex after getting some questionable service from our old plumber, and he's been fantastic on the several occasions he's come out.  He's hard-working, knowledgeable (he has background as a contractor) and effective.

The U joint under our kitchen sink had corroded and was leaking.  Art evaluated the problem and determined that three connecting joints were corroded and that it would be cost efficient to replace all three joints at one time since he expected that the others would leak under pressure.  When he took the joints apart, he showed us the extent of the corrosion and explained why it was a problem.  We met Art a few years ago when he snaked our drain during a 2 am building plumbing emergency.  He is knowledgeable, works  efficiently, and is a very nice guy.  The work is guaranteed and we recommend Art highly.

Had a broken valve leaking bad and Dan came out and made fast work of getting it repaired.   Even better he arrived 30 mins early which was very appreciated.  He had the right tools and a great attitude so the job was done right the first time.

Power Plumbing has been my go to plumber for 8 years now.  As a property manager it is imperative to have good vendors in my contact list and Power Plumbing is on the top for its trade.

They are very responsive even on late night emergencies.  The rate is very reasonable and on market.  I have had bad experiences with plumbers taking advantage and over charging for after hours emergency calls but never with Power Plumbing.  They work with me to come up with cost efficient solutions to problems and provide recommendations for effective preventive maintenance measures.  

I have also used Power Plumbing on a personal level.  They re-piped my drain lines in 2013.  I reached out to Power Plumbing because of my drain lines backing up.  After the lines were cleared, they took it a step further and did a camera inspection on the drain lines which showed its very corroded condition.  They recommended re-piping to prevent a re-occurrence.  Because they took the time and effort to make the extra step of taking the camera inspection, they saved me from further costs and aggrevation of re-occuring drain lines backing up

I highly recommend Power Plumbing not only on a commercial level but for personal needs as well.

The update to my January review is that even though I took it upon myself to diagnose the problem with the brand new TOTO Supreme in my master bath, the owner, Armen, was willing and able to send one of his plumbers to fix it with the part that I was able to obtain for free from TOTO.  Power Plumbing did not charge me for this part replacement, which of course, was the right thing to do.  So, even though I had some issues with the install of one of the new toilets (the plumber left off that little cap thingy that goes over the screw into the floor & I had to call him back), the bottom line is the owner, Armen, is a stand up guy who will do whatever he needs to do to take care of his customers.  Armen is patient and honest.

My HOA called Power Pluming for water pressure issues, Jason he was very professional and being a 49ers Fan. Did find the problems and recommended parts I needed to get my kitchen sink fix, Mike showed up and got the job done period.

I had a refrigerator valve that two previous plumbers could not figure out.  Found out that Power Plumbing is the company our condo HOA recommends...BEST CALL I ever made,
left a message late Sunday night, early this morning April sent Jose over.  TERRIFIC man...Thank you Jose for your expertise, but you made my day with your humor.  But most of all so professional and you can tell he takes pride in his work and loves his job.

Jose came to our rescue today within the hour we were quoted.  He worked hard and professionally to fix our plumbing issue and had us up and working in no time.  Would recommend and will use again next time we need a plumber.  Price was fair as well and it ended up costing less than I had anticipated to fix our plumbing problems.

We have had a series of plumbing problems over the years, including one nightmare and power plumbing always reacts quickly, professionally, and personably. Just yesterday Dan showed up (early rather than late) and had the problem fixed incredibly fast...all the while with the politeness we've come to know Power Plumbing for. My husband and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Dan and Erik from POWER PLUMBING were great. They came out, diagnosed and fixed the problem, which was a huge ordeal with tree roots in the main line. They will be the first people I call from now on.

A leak was reported in my apartment. Greg from PP came and he did an amazing job. he was careful to not do a lot of damage while finding the leak. he was on time and his estimates on time were on point. he was also respectful and helpful, cause i asked him a lot of questions, and he always explained in detail. i had a gr8 experience and would recommend greg and power plumbing.

I called and made an appointment & they sent me one right away. Jose was here to save me from saving a clogged & nasty sink. The price was reasonable for all that he had to go through to unclog my sink. Would recommend this company to anyone.

Excellent experience!  Professional, punctual, and flexible.  Over memorial day weekend, our kitchen sink backed-up.  We have had good experiences with Power in the past, but I was still surprised they were able to show up within 1 hour of notice and begin a very difficult job to unclog our vertical drain line in our condo building.  Jack was our service member on call and was honest and thoughtful in assessing the issue.  We have a baby and a dog and he was respectful of all the dynamics in the house while trying to solve the clog with the least amount of disruption.

After a couple hours of hard work and persistence, Jack unclogged our drain line and did a nice job cleaning up before he left.  Cost was very reasonable for the time committed.  I highly recommend Jack and Power Plumbing for urgent service calls and stubborn clogs.

Dan came after hours to find and fix a mysterious leak at my house in Burbank. He was very efficient and thorough, checking inside and outside and even under the house. He found and capped the leak in the backyard pipe and even plans to return to cap it again during the day when the light is better. He did a great job. All my experiences with Power Plumbing have been good.

Dan is the greatest plumber!!! Our closet started leaking buckets full of hot water. Dan found the leak quickly, even though it was a difficult leak to find. He worked for 4 hours into the evening, and was always very pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. He worked very quickly and very cleanly, and I will definitely be recommending him and calling in the future!!!

Special thanks to Dan, the night that I was frustrated due to sink clog got resolved. I came back from work tired at night, noticed unknown Alfredo Chicken Pasta smell from my sink which I would never cook that at home. Second thing I noticed that the water started to flow up and I was extremely worried. I contacted my management immediately, shortly after an hour Dan arrived my unit with perfect manner. The clog was very very deep, felt like at least 5ft, Dan was able to resolve the issue with good skill and made me and my sink very happy.

Great experience!  Our apartment complex manager recommended Power Plumbing for a leak we had in our sink.  Power Plumbing was able to send Phil out the next day.  Phil was very helpful and had our kitchen sink working again with new parts same day.

Had to add one more review. We called them again on Christmas Eve with a broken garbage disposal and pipes, and Dan was over in less than two hours and finished the job in one. Great company with great people. I'm glad to have a plumber we can trust.

Eric came out to fix our leaking pipe from our new dishwasher. He arrived on the dot of 8:00--as scheduled. Very courteous and knowledgeable and quick. He fixed the problem and explained to us what the problem had been. We've been using Powers for years and have always been VERY pleased with their service. Have had Dan A. from Power Plumbing over a couple times to my unit for various issues.  He's always been able to resolve things quickly and given me some pointers on why things have happened.  He's good at providing reasonable time estimate windows and very courteous about cleaning up.  Been really impressed and will use them again for any new issues that come up.

It's rated one star because it didn't allow me to complete my review.. They dont deserve this start. This is the worst plumbing company  I have ever dealt with. Call them to fix a problem, when they arrive they didn't want to fix the problem. I called their office and spoke with their supervisor which had a big attitude he mention they were not able to fix issue because it was 3pm. The supervisor was really disrespectful and had worst attitude. Would not recommend this company  Power Plumbing to anyone. Thanks for nothing  power plumbing you are the worst!!!

Victor came in last minute and saved the day ! He not only fixed my kitchen sink stoppage but replaced a leaky pipe that I wasn't aware of. Victor had a great attitude and also educated me on maintaining healthy drains by offering me this great product called bio clean !!

I had a really stinky shower drain clog and so I called! They not only worked with my short time frame they sent Dan out really quickly and gave me an excellent price. Dan was super fast, professional, and nice. My dog liked him too! Business card is up on the fridge now cause they're my new go-to!

Jose came to our rescue today! Yesterday a plumber from our warranty company had another company fix the clog in our bathroom tub and toilet, but today it was clogged again. We contacted our HOA and they sent Jose from Power Plumbing. He showed us what the problem was and what the last plumber did wrong. Jose fixed the problem, was very thorough and double checked everything to ensure it wouldn't happen again. This is not a fake review. Jose really saved our butts today.

Power Plumbing wanted to charge me $675 for replacing a valve. I wasn't getting any hot water in my shower and the plumber that came out told me that he thinks it could be the valve or the cartridge that was broken. He said if he replaces the cartridge and it doesn't fix the problem, I would have to pay again to fix the valve. So the best solution would be to just fix the valve to avoid additional costs. The other plumber I hired saw that the problem was the cartridge and replaced it for $60. I recommend getting a couple of quotes before going with their recommendation.

Our HOA uses them so they've come out a couple times for some issues. They have a fast response time & always resolve our problem.  Both times our plumber was Dan and he's been great. Very friendly & helpful.

Last night my kitchen sink suddenly backed up with sediment, and wouldn't drain.    Dan from Power Plumbing showed up first thing this morning, and snaked the drain.  I could tell it was a tough job, but when he was finished the pipes opened up -- and he even took the time to clean the sink, counters, and floor.  Excellent service.

I've been using Power Plumbing for many years. Once I called on a weekend and the on duty plumber told me how to fix the problem myself. Last week I thought I had a major MAIN LINE type of issue, everything was backing up, I was panicked. They came out and snaked a couple drains in about 45 minutes and tah dah, all was good! They came when they said the would. Charged a fair price, cleaned up and were very courteous.

We used Power nearly 15 years ago and weren't really impressed, but when a recent serious blockage happened that affected us and the unit next door, Dan came out and managed to fix it. This was after we'd hired a different plumber who was unsuccessful. It was a really bad drain blockage. Dan not only brought out the heavy equipment to clear the line, but he took a bullet when the drain opened and he got soaked is some real horribleness. He was very focused and seemed to enjoy the challenge. We may not have used Power in the past years, but as long as Dan can provide service to us, we'll be using them in the future. Thanks Dan.

I wonder why they have such low rating . I always have problem with plumbing companies and my management company Recommended them and I am glad I did . They gave me an estimate couple days ago and I had better quote . So I called them up and have the chance to talk to the owner Ed ... He is a super nice guy and he almost matches my other quote since I am a client of PMA ... One of the best property management company in west LA . The plumber who shows up this morning is JACK ... Very professional and hard working guy . Even though he couldn't do the high pressure jet thing because of machinery problem , he cleaned all the drains and did a perfect job with a smile and very probably we go to the same haircut place lol ... Anyway good job guys !! I can Recommand them to anyone specially jack since I haven't met any other from the company ... Oh yes April and the other lady (I don't remember name but I am sure she is a happy and smiley lady )

The control valve for our refrigerator's water supply line was leaking and had pretty much rusted through. After making a preliminary visit a couple of days earlier to eyeball the job, Art and Jose showed up early, got the job done in under an hour, and even did some additional troubleshooting, laying out in detail the problems and how they were resolving them. Professionals through and through, we could not be happier with the job they did for us.

I needed a plumber for The Drexler Law Firm to have the area drains cleaned & DAN was here before his time did it with no problem. He did a wonderful job.

I had done some updates to my kitchen at what I thought was an affordable price...and then I realized that with discounts come shortcuts. Upon using my sink for the first time after the update it began to leak - everywhere. I called the contractor who gave me a few explanations as to why this was happening - none of them seemed reasonable. So that's when I decided to bring in a plumber to fix it - correctly. My knight in shining armor was named DAN. And when I say he saved me I don't say that lightly! The garbage disposal wasn't put in correctly, caulking wasn't applied all the way around correctly and the faucet was hanging on by a thread. He took his time to fix every single issue and tested and retested to make sure everything was done correctly. He was friendly, kind and explained every step of the process. I was looking for quality work to fix cheap mistakes and it was the best money I spent on the entire renovation. I was grateful for the time he took to inspect to make sure it was done right. Thanks Dan. You the man.

Dan from Power Plumbing came to our condo bldg today just to hydro jet some clogged drains. He didn't leave for almost 4 hours until he was able to get to the root of the problem! And ironically, the root of the problem were enormous tree roots growing through the drains. He pulled the drains apart to cut the roots out, huge job!! When he left, everything was cleaned and draining again. Thx Dan!

My HOA usually requests service from Power Plumbing. About 3 months ago, my HOA sent them over to check on lack of hot water. The plumber showed up and after checking on my bathroom, he ruled that the problem was located on my shower faucets. I pointed out to him that I could hear water running and he insisted that it was the faucets. He was in rush to do the work and charged me $75 for the consultation. In addition, he said that replacing the valves was going to cost $281. I have been homeowner for a long time and member of HOAs. I know few things about maintenance but I'm no plumber. I decided to get a second opinion and the plumber came the next day. He said this was not the valves and that most likely it was a water heater issue, which serves the entire building. Two days after, after hearing complaints from other neighbors, I called the HOA and insisted they check the heater. They called the heater service company and determined that in fact it was the water heater. In the meantime, the plumber called my house to push me to replace the valves, not knowing that my HOA had already figured out the problem and it was not cold water intrusion on the hot water pipes, which he said was affecting the entire building.  To their credit, Power's person in charge apologized and refunded me the money, only after the HOA demanded a refund.

Last week, we had another interaction and to make the long story short, we got substandard service with an attitude, and on top of that, the plumber that had agreed to show up never did. When I called him at 4:15 pm to see what was happening, he did not answer nor returned my call. When I saw him two days later, he told me he was busy and that he couldn't come. Needless to say, I will never call Power Plumbing again.

Dan was absolutely fantastic! Came by last minute and was able to get my issue resolved immediately. If you have any plumbing needs give Power Plumbing a call and ask for Dan!

Building management used this outfit to clear a drain in the work kitchen. Building is somewhat sketchy, knowing it was probably something more than residue from work lunches. Young guy arrived wednesday before thanksgiving. He couldnt clear it. Today, they sent the clean up guy. reminded me of the wolf from pulp fiction except without the fancy suit. Dan took the by all means, i have a tool for this mentality (except without words). three industrial snakes later, Success! Turns out it wasnt left over rice and left over concrete consistency beans from the mexican guy in our office, it was crap pipes, clogged from years of poor maintenance. Either way, Dan cleaned the kitchen floor, better than the weekly cleaner. I will keep their number for my home.

I had an emergency leak flooding may basement and called at 4:15pm on a Saturday.  I was told someone would be at my home in one hour and was called with an update that it might take  two hours.  NOBODY came and NOBODY called to say they could not help me.  If I was honestly told they could not come that would have given me a chance to call someone else. I was up all night dealing with my leak because Power Plumbing left me stranded.  I would suggest nobody ever use these people

Dan came over this afternoon from Power Plumbing to fix two clogged sinks.  He knew exactly what to do and fixed the problem.  Furthermore, he did what few plumbers ever offer to do:  The clog left two very dirty sinks; he took the time to clean both of them with a sponge and cleanser.  Very few plumbers in my experience do this.  He is highly recommended, as is the company.  Getting the appointment was easy, and he arrived right on time!

Power Plumbing saved my kitchen!  We woke up to a slab leak under our dishwasher and we had a flood in our kitchen and family room.  Our insurance. Co. sent water abatement team to rip out our floors and set up fans, etc.  Then, they told us to call our local plumber asap.  Power Plumbing has done great work for us in the past (replaced a main pipe under our kitchen sink DURING a Thanksgiving Eve party and did not charge us an arm and a leg; has been the only plumber to properly fix a long standing leak in our tiled shower) so, of course, we called them.  

They were at our house within the hour, and while, initially, they and the Ins. guys thought they would have to jackhammer out our kitchen cabinets and granite (yikes!) to access the leak and make the repair, they took a step back, spent some time really considering the options, brought in a second opinion, GOT CREATIVE, and within 4 hours had the repair made without the added trauma and expense of tearing up my kitchen. These guys cared, and that's what made the difference. Now, all we have to worry about is replacing the floors, and not remodeling an entire kitchen.  :)  

Power Plumbing does excellent, professional work.  They communicate well and follow through. If there is a problem, they will work it through with you until your job is completed.  Definitely call them first when you need a plumber!

Shout out to POWER PLUMBING. I had a really difficult issue with hot water - it took several visits to troubleshoot it, but it was finally repaired and I can take a hot shower again. This is so important as I am fighting a serious illness and NEED my shower. They were all SO aware and considerate of my condition.  A very Special thanks to April - very patient, remembered my name each time I called, and was VERY responsive. Excellent customer service. Both technicians, Jack and Armin (supervisor), were ON TIME, polite, respectful, and seemed to know what they were doing, and checking...Both were very nice and really concerned with fixing my weird, seemingly unfixable issue. It was Armin's genius in the end that was able to MAKE IT WORK! Although I must add that Jack worked just as hard trying to solve the issue - was a real stumper! Thanks Armin - thanks Power.

I live in a condo and the HOA sent a the tech Mike to check on a leak in the unit below via my unit. The tech was wonderful and even unclogged my bathroom sink for a fair price.  I am weary of plumbers but my experience with these folks is that they will work with  you. Thanks, Mike!

Had water running out of the ceiling when the upstairs shower was used. I assumed it was the drain because the leak stopped when the shower was shut off. The Power Plumbing tech thought it might be a leaking shower head pipe inside the wall rather than the drain.  He was right. So neither the downstairs ceiling or upstairs wall had to be torn out to access the drain or shower piping because he was able to fix the problem from inside the shower. I've used this HOA-recommended company before and felt they were competent but pricey. However, this time, Jason arrived on time, analyzed the problem quickly and correctly, and did the repairs at a cost I feel was fair.

Yesterday POWER PLUMBING did work in our building indicating there would be no hot water from 9:00am -12:00p. It's now Thanksgiving morning when people need hot  water to get ready for the holiday and there is NO HOT WATER in our building for our tenants to use! How awful!

They are a rip off!!!  They charged for work they didn't do, then refused to correct the bill. Very unprofessional technicians. Very unknowledgeable.

Great company! They redid our bathroom in no time, were pleasurable to work with. This isn't out first time using them, they also redid out kitchen and our at our house whenever we have a plumbing issue. For sure a go to plumbing company!

My HOA uses them (but not for long as several homeowners have had similar experiences). In short: they LIED TO ME about the cost of the parts to get me to approve an estimate. I had never used them before. I didn't know how long it was going to take to do the work. It ended up being less than an hour to replace 2 angle stops on one of my master bathroom sinks and install a P-trap. They told me the angle stops were very expensive and they charged me $635 for the work. It took less than an hour (with the technician going to his truck a few times and chatting at length with the HOA maintenance man). When I looked up the angle stops (thinking they were nickel-plated or something), they were actually $7.87/each. All the parts were less than $50, so they charge me about $600 labor for less than an hour's work. I spoke to someone named Ed who identified himself as the owner and said he wanted to make things right but ultimately has done nothing. DO NOT USE unless you want to get bilked. Their ploy is to give HOA's good rates to get access to homeowners...then they bilk the homeowners individually. THEY LIED TO ME ABOUT THE COST OF THE PARTS. THEY CHARGED ME $600 FOR LESS THAN AN HOUR OF LABOR. THEY REFUSED TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT WHEN I CALLED TO DISCUSS.

I recommend this company, based on my personal experience with technician by name Alex. Very  knowledgeable, very friendly, very tactful. He was involved in the water leak problem with 3 different condos. Very calm and fast. He determined the leak source in a matter of minutes; for other plumbers it may take hours and days. The repair took no more then 30 min. The company is good organized. Dispatcher April and owner Ed  make unpleasant emergency situation looks  like regular routine problem, what is very important, especially for older people. Highly recommend this company. Alex Gold.

I had a problem with my water heater staying lit. A plumbing company was recommended but they were busy. They recommended someone else, but they were busy. I called my HOA and they recommended Power Plumbing.  I'm so glad. When I called, I described the problem and gave them the model number.  The woman that I spoke to was very nice. She checked with someone to make sure they work on that model and could get the part. Anthony showed up the next morning with the part and, less than an hour later, the part was installed and everything was working. He also showed me a screen that needs to be kept clean that I wasn't aware of. No jacking up the price or trying to talk me into more work. Extremely reasonable. I'll be passing out their business cards to my neighbors!
