I recently bought my first home and know next to nothing about home ownership beyond writing the mortgage check.  Right after I purchased my home, I asked another company to come out and do a regular maintenance on both of my furnaces (the home is a duplex).  That company was more concerned with locking me into a contract for yearly service and coming up with their list of expensive repairs for one of the furnaces.  Since I had purchased the home from an HVAC tech, I was suspicious enough to think something was up.  The husband of my coworker is a general contractor and I asked him to recommend someone so I could get a second opinion.  He quickly recommended Louie, saying that Louie always does everything right the first time, and now I can't say enough good things about Louie.

Right after I received the dire news that I was living in a death trap because the one furnace was supposedly a fire hazard, I had to go to Australia.  While I was out of the country, and never having met Louie, he came over and looked at the furnace for me to let me know what was the real truth.  I remember being in Sydney on the phone with Louie and thinking that he really could take advantage of the situation if he were so inclined.  Instead, he came over, looked at the furnace, let me know that all of the things that this other company had said needed to be changed were completely unnecessary (that was almost four years ago and the furnace has never missed a step) and did this all free of charge.  Needless to say, I have only used Louie since, for both my HVAC and my plumbing.  He always returns my call, is there when he says he will be or lets me know he is on his way, and never tries to sell me something I don't need.  He is very good about showing me what is going on, and always explains things in a manner that is easy to understand without insulting anyone's intelligence.  Louie is responsible, dedicated, honest and personable.  It is so nice having someone you can trust.  Highly, highly recommend him.

Got a referral from a friend for a clogged kitchen sink from hell. Apparently my garbage disposal is more of a suggestion rather than solution to making small foods and organic garbage disappear.

First, the lady who answered the phone (sorry I didn't get your name!) was absolutely awesome. She said the fastest will be later in afternoon as the guys were out west. I was just excited that she could get me in today! As I work from home, it didn't matter what time they could get there.

Just last 12, he showed up. Did the job clean, fast and routed out some 30' of crap.

These folks are fast, friendly, clean and cheaper than expected!! Thanks guys!

In need of a water heater, with a unique need, I began calling plumbers. Steve at USA HC&P discussed my application, made a suggestion and asked for some more information from me. I provided the requested data and scheduled an installation date.

Mike just left after couple of hours. He did a professional, excellent installation for me that is also cosmetically appealing even though it's under the basement steps and won't be seen by anyone but me. Mike also cleaned up the work area and took all the debris. The price was more that fair and very competitive. By the way, Mike is a very personable guy and was a pleasure to have working for me!

I cannot speak for the HVAC since I haven't utilized that service - yet - but if I must, based on my experience today, USA will be my Go-To contractor.

I called that I needed my stove and dishwasher put in and asked since I already have you coming out can I have you look at my sink it's dripping from the pipes I was told I would have a guys coming out tomorrow it wouldn't take make then two hours 110 an hour he gets here with another guy they take 2 1/2 hours I was ok with that but I was not told I would had to be charged per person I was just told I was going to be charged by the hour when I said that I was told he just rights the bill so the bill with 2 1/2 hours 2 men and parts cost me 720$ so I called building waters and talked to the secretary who I booked my appointment that I was told 110 an 10 not a person an hour and she said well that's how we do it what's your card number not that they did a bad job but when you are thinking it's going to be 135 for parts and 220 for labor and it doubles I was not prepared it wasn't good for business and I wouldn't call them again they know you need there service so they make sure to take advantage of you

Back in 2015 our Brookfield neighborhood had city water installed.  We didn't have to hook up to it right way so that gave us some time to plan when we wanted to have it done.  At the time, Eleete came through and provided everyone with estimates for connecting the residence to the city water.  I didn't jump right away since I knew I had some good years left in the ol' well pump.

A month or so ago Eleete was back in the neighborhood doing some hookups for some houses down the street.  We talked it over and decided to ask them to give us an estimate that was reasonable so we pulled the trigger.

Couldn't be happier with the turn out.  While the yard did get torn up I think they did a better job than at preserving the grass than some of the other contractors I've seen.  It was a simple job, straight up the front yard but the best part was the hookup in the basement.  All copper pipe and fittings with all the amenities you could ask for: pressure regulator, pressure gauge on the home side, a tank to absorb any over pressurization of the plumbing.  Even the city inspector recognized the completeness of the work done by Eleete.

I would recommend Eleete for water main hookups and just about any type of plumbing work you might need -- based on what I saw in my own home.

I gave Horner a call because I needed some plumbing product and service and the experience was just awesome. The fellas over their assisted me with picking out product and came out once the product was in an installed everything in a professional manner. A-1 service by my standards!

Two plumbers had been unable to fix the leaking toilet in our 80 year old house.  Matt from S & K plumbing thoughtfilly listened to the history of prior repair attempts and pinpointed the problem quickly as a leaking toilet tank gasket rather than a wax ring problem and had the right part to fix it quickly. And at a reasonable price. Plus Matt was pleasant and accommodated a curious dog. We would highly recommend S & K Plumbing.

Best Price did all the plumbing work on a new home ~5 years ago.  Now we're having multiple leaks due to pin holes in valves and copper piping and poor connections resulting in 20k+ of damage.  And as you'd expect - it's never their issue!  I'd recommend finding someone more reliable with better quality than Best Price if you're doing a new build or remodel unless you want a pay for it twice.

Employees are completely ignorant.  Laid on his horn as he was passing a slow moving FUNERAL PROCESSION that was making their way to Veterans Memorial Park.  If you're going to drive like that with absolutely no respect to anyone at all, you really shouldn't do it in your work vehicle.

This is the worst company to call for sewer draining services.  The company charges per hour and the prices are ridiculously overpriced!

I had a sewer drain problem so I called this company to help.  The drain was backing up due to branches in pipes.  To solve this problem, branches would need to be removed/cut out from within the pipe which means running the snake through to cut the branches.  

The tech, Travis, arrived at 2:20.  (BTW, they charge when they arrive at the job not when they actually start).  The tech looked at the drains on the outside of the house than decided to use the drain in the basement.  He retrieved his equipment out of the truck and took it to the basement at 2:35pm. He initially started to use the stack.  I recommended to use the drain closer to the street since that's the drain that was used in the past and it seemed to work.  He continue to use the stack with no success and then moved to drain closer to the street.  He was able to cut through some of the branches in the pipe and the basement water started to drain.  At 3:35pm, he was done.  He took his equipment back to his truck and gave me the bill at 3:45pm.  He stated that he was charging me for 1.5 hours although he worked 1 hour.  I was very unhappy with being charged an extra hour.  He also stated they would not take the coupon on the website.  

The next day the sewer was backing up again.  There is still branches in the pipe.  He did not get all the branches out so I have to call another company to have this done right!

After an initial good experience back in 2013, this time around and for a different need... errrr... this guy crashed and burned.

This guy is good for ONE and ONE thing only... snaking clogged drains.  Stick to that for his service and you'll have no issues.

Did the work as needed.  Not very clear and fishy quoting and fee schedule (i.e. non existent).  This time around he snaked the kitchen sink's clogged drain for $175 which he quoted up front (excessive if you ask me, but oh well, I accepted). THEN found an issue with a pipe being rusted... everything was torn down, it needed to be repaired... nowhere for me to go really, then said the whole job would be $375 (that is $200 to replace the rusted pipe).  When I questioned him about how long it would take him and how much he was charging me per hour, he immediately adjusted and said he'd charge me $300 (notice, he NEVER told me how much he charged per hour)... 20 (TWENTY) Minutes later he was done.  He charged me $125 for parts & labor to replace a rusted pipe (which would have been $200 if I hadn't asked what his hourly rate was), and got bend out of shape and offended when I asked him to detail it in the invoice.  

He was here a total of 50 minutes and charged me $300.  Lawyers charge less and you get a full hour!

WILL NEVER USE AGAIN EVEN IF MY PLUMBING BURST OPEN AND HE'S THE LAST SURVIVING PLUMBER IN ALL OF THE METRO MILWAUKEE AREA.

We called in a claim to our home warranty company about our tub leaking into our floor and were paired up with this contractor. They came out to look at our bathroom on a Tuesday and they didn't have the parts to fix the tub and we arranged an appointment time window for the Wednesday of the following week to have the work done.  I paid them $ 100 bucks deductible that is required at the time of arrival. They would call an hour ahead of arrival ( guessing it would be around 3pm ). No call. I waited until after 4PM to call to see what their ETA would be. A lethargic person answered the phone and said he would call the van to see when then would arrive. I hung up and waited about ten minutes for the call back then attempted to get through on the phone. No one picked up. I tried a few more times and figured no one was going to answer.
   
    I called on Friday to see what happened and the same lethargic person told me there was a note to reschedule. I said no one informed me that they weren't going to be there. He blamed a secretary. The only person I have spoken to on the phone there is lethargic lad. No secretary. He said we would reschedule for the next Wednesday same time, same call ahead by an hour.

I received a call at about 4:30 pm saying they needed to reschedule and made an appointment for Friday at the same time.Guess what? No call, no show.

It has now been three weeks since the initial appointment were these guys gladly took $100 bucks for doing nothing. I know that's not a lot of money in the plumbing world, but it's my hard earned cash that they took. Our bathtub still leaks and we are seeking professionals outside of the warranty to fix the tub. We really can't trust the contractors they supply to get a simple job done in a timely fashion.

Unprofessional. You see, we may only have a warranty for the first year of our new home, but I imagine we will give all of our business to someone other  than these clowns moving forward.

They called a week later, left a message to reschedule for the following week. We ignored them because we already had a professional come in and fix the problem. If we had scheduled for the next week it would have taken them six weeks to actually fix a simple problem. Ridiculous.
