I had a water issue that flooded the basement and a bathroom sink. Everything, as Murphy's law guarantees, went at the same time.

Building Waters has helped us out in the past with miscellaneous projects, but this one really made a difference. The cost wasn't outrageous and the guys were top notch!  In and out in no time.

I won't lose their number!!!  Thank you Building Waters!

We called them because we had a few tiny gas leaks that were found when we had our Generac installed. They came and took care of the problem right away. Professional, friendly, reasonably priced and quick service.  We would definitely recommend them if you need their services.

I must say the repair person was very nice and courteous. He said their charge clock starts as they start deriving to your place. They charge double the price for any parts they replace. First day he fixed a leaking bath tub faucet water pipe connection while the facust was just fine. Next day the faucet start leaking and charged me more than $200 to fix it. They are very pricey and I would not recommend them to a friend.

I wish there were ten stars to put here. I was soooo impressed with the response time and professionalism of this company, that I want to give it ten stars.
We were introduced to Building Waters, when we called our home warranty company to file a claim for a water heater that did not work. They said on Sunday, someone would be contacting us to fix it. (Cudo's to Universal Home Warranty, by the way, for their excellent customer service.)
By 6:45 a.m. Monday morning, Building Waters was contacting us to come and do the work. By 8:15 a.m., an hour and a half later, we were met at the door by Ted. He treated me with total respect and had wonderful manners. He was completely professional and went right to work. An hour and a half later we had a new water heater, and the job was completely cleaned up, with the old water heater removed.
Ted's skill and workmanship was 100%. Everything worked perfectly.
In this world where customer service is lacking, everyone involved at Building Waters made sure we were not without hot water, if they could help it!!
I understand they not only do plumbing and heating and a/c, but also have a division for home building projects. You can bet they will be on my list to call next time I need any of that done.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, Ted and Building Waters for taking absolutely wonderful care of us!!

Nick from Building waters was wonderful.  Very professional and on time. He was very understanding on a hectic early morning school day. He went above and beyond to show me how to solve an on going faucet problem.  I hope I don't need a plumber every again, but every experience I've had with building water has been wonderful from Sharon in the office to Nick unclogging my sink.

They did great work. They did one smaller job (leaking pipe) on Monday and were able to come back right away on Tuesday for a bigger job (water heater replacement). I have no hesitation recommending them and I will definitely call on them for any future needs.

Building Waters just installed our new water heater.  Prompt, very careful maneuvering thru our home. He was very helpful explaining where the shutoff was and how to operate our new water heater. I would definitely recommend them to friends.

11 -02-2016 $99 Service fee that can be applied to the services only has a 3 star rating on web.
Dan said the office person was at a seminar and would call me after 1100 on 11-03 -2016.  Don't remember if anyone called me back again.  Probably not as I don't have it on here.

7-01-2019 called for water heater as it went out.  After calling another plumber and not getting anywhere and pushing the replacement out for another week.  I couldn't wait that long and had to find someone else.  Talked to Wesley and he's really nice but they aren't affordable to someone like me, in fact, not even reasonable.  They came out and put a new one in but left a mess they didn't clean up and never went over any warranty, etc.  Found the booklet on the floor instead of on the tank.  Had to have them do it as the one I called earlier, ditched out on me and wouldn't do anything and pulled me off his jobs and he kept making excuses as to why he was running late.  Also when I put a review on Yelp he said it was a lot false claims and red flags. When I told him how contractors are and it doesn't work out.  Was just being honest.  He could've turned it around but he chose to be a jerk instead!

8-14-2021 called Wesley-owner (emergency number) about my tub faucet leaking and hard to close.  Needs a new cartridge again.  He said $200-$225, then said $175 as he doesn't have the price book.  Talked about me getting another part that wouldn't affect the water temp when flushing the toilet, etc. for $700.  And to think about it.  Too much money.  My son fixed the cartridge.  It took a little while but he did it!

7-4-2019 I called Building Waters and spoke to Wesley when the fan on my water heater went out, but it happened on the weekend and I would be charged $200 more of an already high price!  He was very nice and asked me what I wanted them to do!  He quoted me a price, $1800, that was still on the high side!  So I called some other places to see if I could get someone to come out and at a better price!  Because I'm on a fixed income!  We had no hot water for 3 days and the one company I called and had it set up for early Monday morning was running late and it was already going on 0830 when he called me.  I had a Drs. appt in the afternoon and had to cancel as I felt that things weren't going to go right and he left me in a bind!  So I had to find another plumber as my usual one was busy and even though the father came out on Monday morning instead of his son, it seemed like he didn't want to do the job as he really didn't do anything but unplug the unit, so I was left in a bind again!  I didn't have much of a choice so had to go with Building Waters!  I read the reviews and they seemed to be a pretty good company, so the lady squeezed me in at 1300!  They quoted me a price that was a bit higher than what Wesley told me and I told them about it, which they abided by!  So that part was nice of them!  She said it will be after 1300 but it was after 1400 before they called letting me know that they were on their way and if I still wanted them to do the work!  I told them to come out as I really didn't have much of a choice at that point!  I didn't have a very good feeling with them being reliable either as a company ditched out on me prior!  They came and replaced my water heater but left a mess that they didn't bother to clean up!  I know that my house is a mess but still!  I can't clean like I want to!  Jason and Ray were nice and Jason spent more time talking to us which Ray didn't!  Today, I found the manual book all crunched up on the other side of the heater on the floor and hung it up in the plastic bag on the heater!  This is unacceptable and I'm very disappointed!  They seemed to be in a hurry, so I didn't bother them with it!  Wouldn't recommend!

1-13-2022 Called Luanne and they want $230 just to look at the bathroom sink stopper and it would be ?  Couldn't tell me the price.  Not good and expensive.  I got it fixed a lot cheaper by another plumber.  But it only lasted two months and they wanted more money to fix it.  No way.  No one warrantees their work anymore?

3-3-2022 Hot water has been really hot and we turned it down.  This has been ongoing.  Almost burned my hand last night doing the dishes and again taking a shower.  My son turned it down a bit and it's still very hot!  Called and spoke to Wes, he asked me a couple of questions and told me to turn it to A.  So I did and see if this corrects it!  I'm not using the hot while doing laundry, just warm (barely) and cold.  I have to call him again at 0700 tomorrow!  Don't know why as I called today!  Should set an appt.  Stupid!  Water is still scalding!  I called and spoke with Luanne then she transferred my call to some other lady that said Of course  have to pay for it!  It was up to the plumber and he said that it was still under warranty and yes it wouldn't cost me anything.  He had to reset it then was going to come back in tha

We called Building Waters at 6:00 am because we had no hot water, and a leaking hot water heater in the basement. They were at our door by 7:00 am, and the job was completed by 9:00am!! Excellent service, very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. We feel confident recommending them to all of our friends and neighbors.

We were panicked when we woke up to our furnace not working and called around to several companies who couldn't get us in the same day. Building Waters was able to get someone here in less than 2 hours! Ben was quick and fixed our furnace within 30 minutes! Definitely recommend and will use them again in the future.

A year or so ago we needed a replacement water heater. Called in the morning and had one installed by early afternoon. Now it's May 2018 and our AC would not work. Turned out a simple fix and they quickly had us up and running. Recently had them service our A.C.
All the staff we have encountered have been very nice and professional.

I called that I needed my stove and dishwasher put in and asked since I already have you coming out can I have you look at my sink it's dripping from the pipes I was told I would have a guys coming out tomorrow it wouldn't take make then two hours 110 an hour he gets here with another guy they take 2 1/2 hours I was ok with that but I was not told I would had to be charged per person I was just told I was going to be charged by the hour when I said that I was told he just rights the bill so the bill with 2 1/2 hours 2 men and parts cost me 720$ so I called building waters and talked to the secretary who I booked my appointment that I was told 110 an 10 not a person an hour and she said well that's how we do it what's your card number not that they did a bad job but when you are thinking it's going to be 135 for parts and 220 for labor and it doubles I was not prepared it wasn't good for business and I wouldn't call them again they know you need there service so they make sure to take advantage of you

Absolutely the best customer service in the United States!  Cannot possibly explain to someone reading this why this is the best plumbing company in Wisconsin.  I have never had customer service and a company that stands behind their work better in any line of work.  You are my rock star plumber and I am happy that I found you.  If you want to rest easy knowing that the job will be done right and if there is a problem that it will be rectified, then call Building Waters.  Friendly ladies in the office and an owner that stands behind his great plumbers work.  Thank you so much.  I rest much easier knowing I can call you.

I've been a user of plumbers for years in IL since I'm an interior designer  &  remodeler. But I'm new to Wisconsin so I needed a plumber.

I  thought I was safe using Building Waters. I could not be more sorry for trusting Wes and his company Building Waters Plumbing. Let me explain why:

From remodeling for years I can tell you that their prices are very high but whats worse is that  their bills seem out of whack and I showed them to neighbors who also are remodelers and have several properties and they could not believe what they were seeing. They said I was being completely screwed as I suspected.

RECIRCULATING PUMP RIP OFF:
I was charged 1770+ by building waters for this service. The part accd to their plumber when I asked him how much it would cost me-he said about $200. At most its $300 -we found it online. So about $1400 for labor? Wes claimed it took his guy 7 hours to install it? Thats the nuttiest outlandish claim I've ever heard in my life. At some point the plumber & Wes had a responsibility to know what this would take him and should have discussed it with me!

But you don't overbill b/c your guy doesn't install these regularly and isn't a expedient worker. Not fair to the client.
It sure as hell has NEVER been a 7 hour billing time job and at some point the plumber needs to say: I don't mind doing this but its gonna be extrememly expensive b/c of ab or c , and do you want to do this? You don't just give someone shock with a huge farce of a bill.

Tell me how can a recirculating pump cost more than a whole stack of lead pipes to be replaced which is about $1400 a stack and is more labor? It doesn't make ANY sense.

Then they kept trying to push a new faucet on me for my kitchen sink when I clearly had a new one, and I told the plumber that it had something stuck in it b/c were on a well-I though sediment had gotten in somehow. I told him to route it.  My husband has a router and I would have had him use it if I had known that BWaters would give a ridiculous price for this tiny service. Esp with everything else were spending on!
Turns out I didn't   need a new faucet, they obviously routed it which takes about 10 minutes max and charged me $168 for that. Total jip which most of my previous plumbers would have given to me b/c of all the other work they were charging me for. Its called courtesy and building trust as an entreprenuar .

DISHWASHER Install RIP OFF:
My appliance guy was here from ABT and they are experts at doing installations correctly. Best appliance company in IL and they deliver up this way. I highly recommend. The plumber said he wanted to do the work. Well ABT charged about $150-200 to install the dishwasher . And they know how to work with newer EU appliances that already have airgaps installed in them . Wes insisted that I needed it. And charged me a outrageous $653 for installing a simple dishwasher and an air gap I have never needed in IL. I don't care if something is code-it wasn't in the house before and it sold to me just fine. I told him I didn't want it but they billed me for it. An outrageous rip off outrageous over the top fee.

Laundry Sink Install JIP:
In IL I got a bid for $500 for an install on a laundrysink . When I spoke to Wes about it on the phone he said about $550-650 b/c he had to take away my concrete sink. He claimed he would hire a laborer to come break it up and all, clean up. There was no laborerer ever there to do this work. They took it away. He didn't need to gut it or take away. Thats for garbage hauling guys. He charged us $700.
Also overpriced. That is all labor and not the sink.

The other two things on the bill I was okay with. Thats the typical cost of a hot water heater replacement in IL and I'm not sure of the cost of replacing old pipe b/c IL only allows copper and not this plastic stuff which I'll never use again. Very unimpressive product.

I was extremely unhappy with Building Waters. I will NEVER use their services again. They are a dubious company when it comes to billing their hours and I told Wes that this was how we felt and he just made excuses. He didn't remedy the situation. Which makes him disgusting.
He abused our pocketbooks for menial jobs and we will tell everyone what happened to us.

I had used Building Waters in the past for a sump pump issue and was happy with their service. I decided to try them again, this time for a furnace problem. Great job by Nick, who fixed it in no time. Best thing, however, when Nick was here, he discovered a water heater problem with a carbon monoxide leak. Ray, from their plumbing department was out here the next day, fixing, what could have been, a very deadly problem for us. I can't say enough about Building Waters professionalism and service. They are one of the best companies/vendors that I have ever found. Highly recommend them. LouAnn in the front office is also excellent to work with.

Kept my cool!  When my air conditioning decided to stop working on the hottest day of 2016, a call to Building Waters really saved the day.  Dan and Steve got right on it and a comfortable climate was restored to my home. I appreciate the responsiveness, courtesy, and professionalism consistently demonstrated. I've used Building Waters for plumbing issues in the past and had a similar experience.

We had some extensive plumbing done today with Building Waters. After an emergency call placed on Tuesday morning, they sent a plumber to assess our situation.   Dean came to my home, fixed an unused downstairs toilet and made arrangements to come the following day.  He completed an extensive repair to our main level bathroom and was fantastic to work with. Luann was helpful in assisting and scheduling our service.  We are incredibly impressed with their customer service and compassion. We highly recommend them and would utilize their service extensively in the future.
