first encountered Best Concepts Renovations approximately 5 years ago when I hired them to remodel an outside kitchen.  Eduardo was wonderful to work with and all the workers were skilled, courteous and professional.  The finished project was amazing.  I felt that my kitchen should be on the cover of Kitchen and Bath magazine.  The counter has beautiful marble tiles!   That was just the beginning of the laundry list of projects that I have since then hired Best Concepts to do.  The next big project was to create an upstairs balcony from the window that was in the game room.  I had originally decided to put a pergola over the fabulous kitchen that I had gotten built, but with a few suggestions from Best Concepts,I made an upper balcony instead...with a CEMENT floor to cover the kitchen.  I had never even considered that an upper deck could have a cement floor.  WOW!!!!  another prize winning job was accomplished.  I have since then gone on to hire Best Concepts to to tile my kitchen, build a outdoor deck, replace basketball goals, install basketball court lights, paint inside the house, install a jetted bath tub and more.  Every single project was done with superior quality.  I have made Best Concepts my personal upgrade company, because I have been extremenly impressed by the work ethic, kindness, great prices, and professionalism of the crew.  I offer my highest recommendation  without hesitation for any job that involves construction or remodeling.

Communication was help throughout the entire process via text and phone call to ensure the job was completed on time and to my liking. J's Electric came out to fix our dryer outlet and did a great job. When we sold our house we called him again to come and install new GFCI in the kitchen, garage, and around the pool. He was professional, on time, and completed the project at the estimated cost. We will definitely used him again!

After trying to get ahold of several different electrical companies, Duhon was the first to respond and honest on when they can come out. William showed up on time, provided me with honest feedback, and did not charge me since he could not get the job done. In addition, he gave me free estimates for an electrical dryer plug and the cost of installing my new fan.

I haven't seen his work, so I'm only giving him four stars because of that. I am scheduling him to do a few things around the house, so once I get that done I will update.

Jason saved us big time! We had hired another electrician through Home Advisor and they sent us someone who had no clue what they were doing. We are still trying to get our money back. When we called CW Electrical, he responded right away, came out and have us an estimate and then did the job a couple of days later. Jason was very professional, knowledgeable and quick! It was very refreshing to just be able to sit back and let him handle everything. We were extremely satisfied with the work he did. We would definitely hire him again... In a minute!

I first saw Scott Breen's list of Kudos on Nextdoor. I reached out to him about a good sized project I had here. I needed a brand new service, meter, 200amp breaker panel and two 3-1/2 ton heat-pump with emergency back-up's connected. I was not only blown away with the efficiency of the crew, I was also very impressed with their level of professionalism. Every member of the team (and there were about 5 of them over the two days) were very polite and had great attitudes. I will indeed be using them again for other projects I have going forward as they are now my Go To for electrical work. And I must add, before they left they scoured the area both inside and outside the building and left absolutely no trash whatsoever. Great job Scott, you are running a class act....

They installed the wrong type of dimmer causing the switch to get very hot. Either the technician knowingly installed the wrong dimmer just to make a sale or it was due to his lack of expertise but regardless of why this happened, when it came time for them to make good on their warranty, they did not.

They charged me again for installing a replacement and the bill was substantially more than what I paid the first time. After a lengthy argument stating I had already paid for the dimmer and should not be charged, I received a slight discount on the invoice but the discount was less than what I had already paid. This instance was unfortunate because they had previously done work in my home and I was pleased with their work and professionalism.

Excellent! After calling several electricians in the North Austin area, David not only answered, but fit us in the same day! He explained thoroughly, and had very reasonable rates. We are very pleased. Will definitely call again.

I just want to give a big shout out for Wade Hudson of Tejas Electric in Dripping Springs.  He managed to fit my electrical problem into a busy schedule and doggedly slogged through rain and mud to solve the mystery of its cause.

I highly recommend Ferguson Electric in Helotes.  We have used them for many of our electrical issues around the house in the past.  Recently, they updated our light fixtures and were fair, knowledgeable, and efficient.  I would use them again without hesitation.

Problem was a bad 50 amp breaker. Scott quickly diagnosed and changed it in no time. Same day service was appreciated. Perhaps a little pricey but I live a ways from Austin. Will use them again. Scott was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable.

Strauch electric was assigned to my work order by my home warranty company.  I can say that I will never use them again.  Roger Strauch's communication skills, professionalism, and customer service were beyond terrible.  He was argumentative when confronting him about his work and when told that he didn't complete the job he said he wouldn't come back for one smoke detector.  He questioned my integrity and did not understand the communication done prior to his arrival time.  Very disappointed and as a Veteran with 26 years of service to our country, I will never recommend this company.

First talked to Daniel about install of a generac whole house generator on June 8th he comes to house a few days later we talk about install he tells me they have done them before no big deal well by the time i decide to call CPS myself and check on application the lady at CPS tells me they just the day i called submitted application and it was WRONG. They have given me the run around for two months save yourself the headache.

I hired Marcus Reyes for two commercial jobs in San Antonio.  Everything went good up until the end of the projects.  I had a hard time getting Marcus to come out and finish the last few items at both jobs.  He did finally finish after several calls, but thats not why I'm writing this negative review.  A few months after the jobs were finished Marcus sent me two bills for extra work on the stores.  There was never extra work and there was never any type of agreement, verbal or written, that he was going to charge me extra to finish the job.  All he did was come back and correct the work that was unfinished.

I'm assuming that he ran into financial trouble (winter is slow for some contractors) and so he hit me up for more money thinking I would pay if he threatened to file a lien on my customers property.  And when I refused to pay the bogus bills, he did in fact send a letter to my customer threatening to file a lien on their property for unpaid debts.  So he's now committing fraud by filing a fraudulent lien on my customers property.

I would recommend to find another electrician for your electric project.
