I called to have them come out and check out an issue with my breaker box.  They were on time, helpful and super informative.  While I didn't need to have anything done at this time, I will be calling them when we have any future issues with our electrical system in our home.  I would recommend them in a heart beat!

Look no further - you've found your new electrician. Paul is prompt, professional, and his prices are fair. He's an excellent problem solver and completed our project within a couple hours. We had him replace four fixtures: three indoor and one tricky outdoor fixture that he troubleshooted prior to arriving, after I sent a few photos, so he was prepared with a solution when he arrived. Will absolutely have him back to check the rest of our lighting/wiring as he discovered some burnt wires in one of our fixtures (saving us from a possible fire in the future...). I had purchased a light fixture for my dining area and I had texted one person whom I know on Monday and they failed to show. Then on Tuesday the second person handy man failed to show and then I went to Facebook marketplace and found electricians. The one person who said he could install failed to show TWO days in a row. By the time the entire week was shot and I essentially sat around for DAYS I decided to get a five star electrician. I googled electrician on Bandera Road because those key words resulted in some great hits two  years ago when I needed to install a thermostat. They aren't CHEAP but they are reliable and they do a good job and they leave the place nice and clean and I would certainly recommend this company to anyone who can't do their own wiring because, frankly, i would have gotten shocked badly had I tried this on my own. I have a son who is very great at electrical projects but he resides in another state. I wanted a new elegant light so I could make a very great Thanksgiving spread under the most flattering possible lighting! The ambiance is absolutely wonderful here in my dining area. I figure that everything balanced out since I got a good deal on the fixture but I shelled out big bucks for installation, and this light fixture was certainly worth the extra expenditure.

Very professional and friendly.  Great customer service and communication.  Not the cheapest but I don't want cheap when it comes to wiring my house!  Worth every penny.

I can't say enough good things about this business. The owner, Troy, was patient with me as I explained my electrical issues, and he helped me get my business in order. I called on a Saturday and he came out on Monday. He even went the extra mile, and made sure that my electrical line was safe by installing sheathing.

we called around  for a electrician only  one responded  that  they could do it that day
within the hour the technican arrived  after checking everything  out he told us it was a  blown breaker  .fixed in minutes  with a new part from  lows .
he was on his way to a conferance when we called and as he solved  the problem in a matter of minutes he said there will be *** no charge ***
not many bisiness  give you a free ride expecially  in a emergency situation  like that

I have had Smejkal Electric working on any electrical problems in my house since I bought the house 31 years ago. Very honest and very fair and reasonable prices. Seven years ago when I had to get a new air conditioning unit for my very large home, I actually got bids from three different companies. (Friends had told me that Smejkals was expensive) So I got four different bids for installing a new unit. Smejkals was over $1000 cheaper than any of the other bids. We have had the unit for seven years and are very pleased! Just recently had them out to repair some bad wiring in the kitchen. Waylon and Glen do great work and have good prices. Bloch Electrical had to rebuild our electrical - what a task! They rebuilt our entire electrical system in our 100 year old house beyond expectations. We had several electrical projects and Calvert electric took care of all of them, some were complicated and he had it done much quicker than we had expected. Very fair $ will definitely call him back, highly recommend.

Ford Electric came out promptly when we had an electrical issue. He got our electricity back up and running within hours. When it was evident there were bigger issues (most likely stemming from Texas 2020 winter storm) he resolved the issues quickly. He even took care of our other electrical  concerns while he was here and everything runs like a charm now.

Sunbelt had problems installing a fan/light ...the first trip installed the fan/light and it appeared to work however after a few hours the bulbs burnt out. Called Sunbelt and they did return to try and correct the problem. It turns out the remote's receiver was not working properly. Glad to see they followed thru and did all they could to fix the problem.

Great job of installing two ceiling fans. Very professional, arrived on time and after shopping around, I can confirm it was at a great price.

Very pleased. Eric gave me a very good price in writing. Told me what he was going to do and that if anything came up after opening ceiling the additional cost wouldn't be more than $300. After opening and inspecting, he determined then would have to go another way. Gave me options including an inexpensive way to address it. HE STOOD BY HIS QUOTE. Called before he arrived. Polite and professional.  Project did not take as long as I had expected. Had me review his work, and ensured everything worked before departing. Very happy. I would definitely recommend PDI in the future, and ask for Eric.

I had a breaker that needed replacing, and tried Yelp to find a service provider. Simon's was close to my house, and there were no red flags in the review, so I tried them. Big mistake.
They required a $100 trip charge in advance,, sent a person with whom I couldn't communicate (he spoke Spanish only) and he didn't have the supplies to do the fix. When I called them, they apologized and made another appt with another repairman for the following day. So, one more afternoon off work to replace a breaker. The guy come in, fixed the breaker and left another bill for $74. When he gave me the final invoice, I saw my card was charged $103 instead of $100, obviously to cover the bank charge. They didn't mention it when they were taking the payment, though, and then referred me to the invoice I JUST GOT to explain to me the $100 was actually $103.
I drafted a payment through online banking and before it cleared (less than a week later), they were calling me to check on payment.
Avoid this firm if you can.

Hello all, I had to install a new meter and pole in a new home in Natalia, TX. After several quotes and speaking with different people I decided to go with Freddy (owner). He wasn't the cheapest but was pretty close to other quotes I had received so he was fair. The reason I chose him it's because he was very professional, on time with everything, & his communication was on point. One thing I HATE doing is paying a contractor upfront for anything bc I have been robbed before but Freddy stated he had to take half the payment bc he has also been robbed. After carefully thinking about it, I decided to go with him anyway bc I felt he was honest. I am so glad that I chose Longhorn Electric bc they were on point. The only reason I give s 4 star is bc I don't like the fact that the pole is right in the middle and would have liked it more to the side of the home. However, that was my fault bc I wasn't there during the time. His wife was with him doing the job and she was very friendly too. I would HIGHLY recommend them for all of your electric needs.
