I called to have them come out and check out an issue with my breaker box.  They were on time, helpful and super informative.  While I didn't need to have anything done at this time, I will be calling them when we have any future issues with our electrical system in our home.  I would recommend them in a heart beat!

we called around  for a electrician only  one responded  that  they could do it that day
within the hour the technican arrived  after checking everything  out he told us it was a  blown breaker  .fixed in minutes  with a new part from  lows .
he was on his way to a conferance when we called and as he solved  the problem in a matter of minutes he said there will be *** no charge ***
not many bisiness  give you a free ride expecially  in a emergency situation  like that

We had an AFCI breaker issue where it would trip every time we used our treadmill.  I reached out on Saturday morning and they came to the rescue later that same day.  They took the time to diagnose the issue on the phone, picked up the correct part for replacement and solved the problem in under 15 minutes after they arrived. I have had Smejkal Electric working on any electrical problems in my house since I bought the house 31 years ago. Very honest and very fair and reasonable prices. Seven years ago when I had to get a new air conditioning unit for my very large home, I actually got bids from three different companies. (Friends had told me that Smejkals was expensive) So I got four different bids for installing a new unit. Smejkals was over $1000 cheaper than any of the other bids. We have had the unit for seven years and are very pleased! Just recently had them out to repair some bad wiring in the kitchen. Waylon and Glen do great work and have good prices. We had several electrical projects and Calvert electric took care of all of them, some were complicated and he had it done much quicker than we had expected. Very fair $ will definitely call him back, highly recommend.

Ford Electric came out promptly when we had an electrical issue. He got our electricity back up and running within hours. When it was evident there were bigger issues (most likely stemming from Texas 2020 winter storm) he resolved the issues quickly. He even took care of our other electrical  concerns while he was here and everything runs like a charm now.

We had a problem with the power going out on one side of our house and nothing we could do would bring it back. We called Sunbelt Electric Contractors based on their great reviews on Angie's List and they were here the next morning. They sent two electricians to immediately diagnose our problem with a step by step process of elimination. They had it diagnosed in less than twenty minutes and fixed in another twenty minutes. So, less than an hour and they had our power back up and running, which was imperative to me because I needed the power restored to my office to do any work. They were professional and polite and didn't mind for a moment that my house was crazy with a loud toddler and two intense dogs and life going on all around them at that time. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing an electrician service in San Antonio. We would never have been able to figure out the problem ourselves, that's for sure. Very appreciative of their quick response and their time and efforts. Highly recommend.

I had a breaker that needed replacing, and tried Yelp to find a service provider. Simon's was close to my house, and there were no red flags in the review, so I tried them. Big mistake.
They required a $100 trip charge in advance,, sent a person with whom I couldn't communicate (he spoke Spanish only) and he didn't have the supplies to do the fix. When I called them, they apologized and made another appt with another repairman for the following day. So, one more afternoon off work to replace a breaker. The guy come in, fixed the breaker and left another bill for $74. When he gave me the final invoice, I saw my card was charged $103 instead of $100, obviously to cover the bank charge. They didn't mention it when they were taking the payment, though, and then referred me to the invoice I JUST GOT to explain to me the $100 was actually $103.
I drafted a payment through online banking and before it cleared (less than a week later), they were calling me to check on payment.
Avoid this firm if you can.

Hello all, I had to install a new meter and pole in a new home in Natalia, TX. After several quotes and speaking with different people I decided to go with Freddy (owner). He wasn't the cheapest but was pretty close to other quotes I had received so he was fair. The reason I chose him it's because he was very professional, on time with everything, & his communication was on point. One thing I HATE doing is paying a contractor upfront for anything bc I have been robbed before but Freddy stated he had to take half the payment bc he has also been robbed. After carefully thinking about it, I decided to go with him anyway bc I felt he was honest. I am so glad that I chose Longhorn Electric bc they were on point. The only reason I give s 4 star is bc I don't like the fact that the pole is right in the middle and would have liked it more to the side of the home. However, that was my fault bc I wasn't there during the time. His wife was with him doing the job and she was very friendly too. I would HIGHLY recommend them for all of your electric needs.
