I called to have them come out and check out an issue with my breaker box.  They were on time, helpful and super informative.  While I didn't need to have anything done at this time, I will be calling them when we have any future issues with our electrical system in our home.  I would recommend them in a heart beat!

We decided that it was time to bring in a professional to figure out our electrical issue.  After leaving a message with Paul I received a callback within 5 minutes and had an appointment scheduled for the next day.

He was on time, very professional and had it all figured out in short order.  He took the time to educate me about some of our wiring issues, corrected the problem and had us up in running.

ATEC will always be the first electrician we call for now on.

I had purchased a light fixture for my dining area and I had texted one person whom I know on Monday and they failed to show. Then on Tuesday the second person handy man failed to show and then I went to Facebook marketplace and found electricians. The one person who said he could install failed to show TWO days in a row. By the time the entire week was shot and I essentially sat around for DAYS I decided to get a five star electrician. I googled electrician on Bandera Road because those key words resulted in some great hits two  years ago when I needed to install a thermostat. They aren't CHEAP but they are reliable and they do a good job and they leave the place nice and clean and I would certainly recommend this company to anyone who can't do their own wiring because, frankly, i would have gotten shocked badly had I tried this on my own. I have a son who is very great at electrical projects but he resides in another state. I wanted a new elegant light so I could make a very great Thanksgiving spread under the most flattering possible lighting! The ambiance is absolutely wonderful here in my dining area. I figure that everything balanced out since I got a good deal on the fixture but I shelled out big bucks for installation, and this light fixture was certainly worth the extra expenditure.

At the risk of piling on the love, I have to agree.  Carrie and AJ are phenomenal.  She immediately responded to my email inquiry, letting me know they were leaving town, and would answer Tuesday.  Not only did I not have to prompt her on Tuesday, she knew who I was, and had my list handy.  

AJ was on time, and is very personable. A gentle soul, with sage advice.  He didn't push opinions on me, but he was consistent and balanced when giving responses. He gave me some great ideas, did a wonderful job installing an outlet in our yard.  And, he saved me money.

Since we're new to the area, Carrie gave me tips on other service providers. Both of them, above and beyond. I trust them implicitly!

Voicing my opinion, I attempted to do business with this company as shown by the attached photo messages. The company responded promptly within an hour or two stating someone would be contacting me to provide an estimate of service. A week later not even a phone call/email/text concerning the inquiry. So I wrote them back using YELP to let them know I had not been contacted and I'd be moving on; and as shown my the picture, the owner of this company thought it was a best; rather than potentially apologizing for the delay or showing any type of empathy for the inconvenience: Heather states good luck with my search. Is this the day and age we live in with customer service? As an owner I would have picked up the phone and just dialed the potential client. Instead of taking the high road, she chose to take the I didn't need your business anyway approach. I had provided my government cell number to this company and they had an opportunity of making things right and they didn't. This warrants/validates the need for this review since the provided experiences are what YELP is all about. I hope your experience goes better, but I personally would do business with any other company. Treatment like that especially from an owner shows the true nature of the business.

Our house went dark .
we called around  for a electrician only  one responded  that  they could do it that day
within the hour the technican arrived  after checking everything  out he told us it was a  blown breaker  .fixed in minutes  with a new part from  lows .
he was on his way to a conferance when we called and as he solved  the problem in a matter of minutes he said there will be *** no charge ***
not many bisiness  give you a free ride expecially  in a emergency situation  like that

I had a circuit breaker that continued to trip and found Raptor on Yelp. One of the owners came by and switched the breaker, checked it, and all was working so he left. It tripped shortly after so I called him back out and they arrived promptly and changed it to a different type of breaker. It has been working great since

Unfortunately, I had the complete opposite experience as the first review for this company. The man initially came out to repair/replace a backyard light fixture and after swapping out a the fixture with a new one plus led bulbs I purchased at Lowes. He told me it should be good to go after his R/R job. However, $100 dollars later, that evening the lights turned on but began to flicker on and off all night. I figured it was something minor that could be adjusted quickly; so I asked him to not only fix the first install job but to add two more lamps for the sides of the my home. This person then sets an appt with me for the following week and a few days later cancels on me. He once again sets an appt with me for the following week (today at 3pm) and doesn't call me but texts me that he can make it out to the house at 11am. I am a police officer currently on the east side dealing with a few detained individuals and NO I can't make your schedule easier since YOU had someone cancel on you; I stop what I'm doing and like a profesional call him and ask him why he can't stick to the agreed upon appointment time. I feel another excuse coming.. rather than entertain any more pathetic behavior; I canceled any dealings with this company. Btw, when do business professionals call their clients... bro.. and man... what ever happen to Sir or Mr. I truly hope this was just a fluke for this well established and successful (as he boldly stated) business man. I hope others have a much better experience with this company than I have. I wasn't asking much; just flood lamps... and not to be canceled on. As you can see from the comment of this review; they now shift the blame on me the customer.. stay classy Dietrich.

I have had Smejkal Electric working on any electrical problems in my house since I bought the house 31 years ago. Very honest and very fair and reasonable prices. Seven years ago when I had to get a new air conditioning unit for my very large home, I actually got bids from three different companies. (Friends had told me that Smejkals was expensive) So I got four different bids for installing a new unit. Smejkals was over $1000 cheaper than any of the other bids. We have had the unit for seven years and are very pleased! Just recently had them out to repair some bad wiring in the kitchen. Waylon and Glen do great work and have good prices. Thanks guys for all of your hard work!

Mr Bob is a true professional. He showed up on time and knew exactly how to fix all the issues I was having. He is a hard worker, and charges a fair price. I would definitely use him for future needs.

Bloch Electrical had to rebuild our electrical - what a task! They rebuilt our entire electrical system in our 100 year old house beyond expectations. Their  pricing was fair.  They showed up as expected. They made a plan and performed. Their electricians are very professional and kind. Kay and Jr are just fabulous! Could not ask for a better team! We had several electrical projects and Calvert electric took care of all of them, some were complicated and he had it done much quicker than we had expected. Very fair $ will definitely call him back, highly recommend.

Ford Electric came out promptly when we had an electrical issue. He got our electricity back up and running within hours. When it was evident there were bigger issues (most likely stemming from Texas 2020 winter storm) he resolved the issues quickly. He even took care of our other electrical  concerns while he was here and everything runs like a charm now.

Sunbelt had problems installing a fan/light ...the first trip installed the fan/light and it appeared to work however after a few hours the bulbs burnt out. Called Sunbelt and they did return to try and correct the problem. It turns out the remote's receiver was not working properly. Glad to see they followed thru and did all they could to fix the problem.

Great job of installing two ceiling fans. Very professional, arrived on time and after shopping around, I can confirm it was at a great price.
Would use Justin again in the future.

Amazing team! They are truly exceptional. They were very knowledge of the work needed and provided proper information to know what would be happening. Highly recommend!

Called them to replace an HVAC System as they quoted the best price. There were some miscalculations that complicated the job and created some issues, but, they returned as necessary to correct all problems.
Only complaint I have is that they neglected to tell me that there was a 3% credit card charge fee.

Hello all, I had to install a new meter and pole in a new home in Natalia, TX. After several quotes and speaking with different people I decided to go with Freddy (owner). He wasn't the cheapest but was pretty close to other quotes I had received so he was fair. The reason I chose him it's because he was very professional, on time with everything, & his communication was on point. One thing I HATE doing is paying a contractor upfront for anything bc I have been robbed before but Freddy stated he had to take half the payment bc he has also been robbed. After carefully thinking about it, I decided to go with him anyway bc I felt he was honest. I am so glad that I chose Longhorn Electric bc they were on point. The only reason I give s 4 star is bc I don't like the fact that the pole is right in the middle and would have liked it more to the side of the home. However, that was my fault bc I wasn't there during the time. His wife was with him doing the job and she was very friendly too. I would HIGHLY recommend them for all of your electric needs.
