Best Electricians in San Antonio, TX

BAIT AND SWITCH.  I needed an electrician for 8 hours to install several items in my new house and was given a verbal quote over the phone which was a reasonable price however after the job was done they charged me a significantly difference price which was over $500 from the original quote. Good work but bad business practices. Be wary

Response to their explanation; I'm active duty military for 24 years and would never not pay for a service that was done for me and my family. We just transferred here from California and purchased a new house. I called around S.A. for the best price electrician so when I called Bolt Electric to hire an electrician for 8 hours they gave me specific pricing over the phone which was reasonable so I booked them for a day when I would be in town. I have several issues which was not mentioned in their response.
1. They did give me different pricing over the phone than what they charged me period. Lessons learned, ask for an invoice showing what they are charging so you have it in writing before the job which I never received.
2. As far as the second electrician, the lead electrician actually told me he didn't need him to hang the high ceiling fan, at that point he should had let him go. If I knew the real cost for the second electrician I would have had him gone in a quick minute.
3. I was also kind enough to invite the electrician to eat pizza that I had bought for my flooring guys that were working on my new floors that day. If I knew the real price I was paying I would have never had him on a lunch break on my dime.
Again, the electrician did good work but make sure you get their quote in writing. They did pursue me with a lawyer for the additional money which I didn't pay them for which was for my cancelled check fee, the second electrician who didn't do what he was hired to do, and the half hour lunch break that the lead electrician was more than happy to take.
Honestly, if I had time to retain a lawyer and take what the judge would have given I would have taken my chances.

These guys are great.  Very knowledgeable and courteous.  The guy (Adam) worked with me on the yelp messenger and was able to find out exactly what the issue was and didn't even need to send anyone out.  Would recommend hands down, and would be the first to call for any future issue.

Needed a camera doorbell hardwired and an outlet fixed that has gone out.  Setting an appointment was easy and quick.  Service was prompt, techs were very communicative and up front about everything they needed to do.  Would absolutely go with Allgood again for any future electrical projects.

Highly recommended...The outlets in all three of our bathrooms were not working, and we couldn't figure out what was wrong. We tried flipping the circuit breaker, and that didn't fix it. Electrimax was prompt in responding and came out to our property fast! Mario showed up on time and diagnosed the problem within minutes. The plugs in all of our bathrooms were working when he left our house after less than 30 minutes. It turned out that we had an outdated GFCI that needed to be replaced...Thanks, Mario!

Steve showed up on time, professional installation of two smart switches and was reasonably priced.

Great service . Job took longer than expected but stayed on quote. Friendly and explained all steps. Wouldn't hesitate to hire again

Very courteous, professional, and knowledgable.  Thomas came out within a week and was even early the day of.  What I appreciated most, was that when I was not here yesterday the day we scheduled, (due to death in the family) he kindly said he understood and was nice enough to come back the following day.  We will definitely be using his services again.

We hired them to install some outdoor lighting.  David and Robert did a fantastic job and were very professional.  They also worked their schedule around ours as we had a restricted time schedule.  They were terrific and we would definitely hire them again

I found Steve (Owner of The Electrical Team) through Home Advisor...He installed two chandeliers in my house and I am having him back to install some outlets in my attic for security cameras.  He is awesome electrician that knows his stuff!  Plus, he's great at scheduling appointments at the last minute...You will not be disappointed with him.

Very responsive, eager to help, and they did great work! I especially appreciated them explaining everything they were doing and letting me shadow them and pester them with questions! We will have these folks do all of the remaining electrical work on our remodel!

I hired Kevin to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage. He ran a conduit from the corner of my house externally to my garage. Very professional with good communication. Came up with some ideas that other electricians did not.

Awesome Service! I needed to install a couple of ceiling fans and a chandelier for family that were visiting me soon. I called Juan, he was able to schedule me the next day, and start in the morning. He arrived on-time, explained the installation, and finished ahead of schedule. Also, he fixed my low-voltage outside lights! Great electrician, and great person! Highly recommend!

You know the little string that dangles down from the ceiling fan to turn on/off the lights? Well we yanked too hard on it and pulled the chain cord out! There was no way to turn the lights on without it. It is NOT an easy fix for us non-handy folks. You have to mess with the electrical stuff and take apart the central part of the ceiling fan. No thanks. Handy Man Dan came over and fixed it right up!

We will definitely use Handy Man Dan for all future handy work! He's actually coming over tomorrow to fix a hole in our wall caused by a door knob. :)

He came out and did a few hours worth of work for a good price! Work came out perfect. I got new outlets in my garage which I desperately needed. 10/10 recommend!

Had a unique electrical job with a fitness machine and Maury went through great lengths to get to the bottom of it and only charged a service call fee which was more than reasonable! Will definitely be using him again

A/C went out last night and we called them and we had an appointment window of 2 pm til 6pm.  They called me at 5:30pm and said they were running late. Then at 7pm they called and said they would not be out today. I am very mad. They said between 8am and noon tomorrow. No compassion on there part. We even have a contact with them for maintenance.
