Best Electricians in San Antonio, TX

I have called Bolt Electric several times for electrical issues in my home.  Each time a technician has come,  he (Andy) was really professional! He explained everything as he was doing it and we even had a discussion about preventative maintenance. His expertise,  professionalism,  and positive attitude speak volumes on who he is and how great a company like Bolt Electric really is.  As long as I live in San Antonio and need electrical help with my home,  I will go to Bolt

All Star Electric was very professional in all aspects of the job at my home. There were a couple of issues that came up with hidden obstructions and they were solved quickly and to my satisfaction. ASE's personnel were pleasant to work with from Richard Grohman, Master Electrician to their scheduling and electricians that were at my home. Everyone was prompt, and a pleasure​ to work with. I expect to hire them for​ future electrical work and recommend them to my friends.

It's hard and a bit scary to find service companies when you are new to the state, so I consider myself more than lucky to have found Allgood. They are, ALL GOOD. Troy was very prompt in answering and sending Alex to do the work was wonderful. Polite, patient, and professional, Alex worked swiftly and cheerfully. Came by super quick and did a great job on a wired ring cam install. Had barely posted the job and they contacted and and came out.

Steve showed up on time, professional installation of two smart switches and was reasonably priced.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Stetson and Sammy from Dunn Honest Electric and I have to say, I couldn't be happier with their service. From start to finish, they were friendly, on time, and respectful of my home. They took the time to explain everything to me in detail and made sure I was comfortable with the work they were doing.

After seeing his yelp reviews, I had my husband call Russell Electric to set up an appointment and have them come take a look at our electrical issue. Our bathroom GFI has tripped almost daily for a good year now. It's incredibly annoying,  as our downstairs bathroom and both upstairs bathrooms are on the same GFI. If we were upstairs when it tripped, we had to go downstairs to reset it. He advised my husband to simply go to home depot and buy a $16 GFI and replace it. He said in all likelihood, this would resolve our issue, as once GFIs trip a few times, they tend to stop working correctly and continually trip. I only wish we had called sooner. Our issue is fixed. Justin was absolutely amazing! We had to have ground wires replaced . The whole team that came out was amazing . Everyone was so positive, the atmosphere was wonderful. They kept us up to speed with everything. I highly recommend them. Will most definitely be using them again

These guys are awesome! Came over with no issues to inspect my system and pointed out CO2 problem & were able to fix the system same day! Great service, great customer service, and great value! Noel & Jesse were professional, quick, and clean. Answered all my questions and were very knowledgeable about the HVAC system and explained why there was a problem & what it took to fix it. Very transparent about what they were suggesting and why. Recommend services!

I found Steve (Owner of The Electrical Team) through Home Advisor...He installed two chandeliers in my house and I am having him back to install some outlets in my attic for security cameras.  He is awesome electrician that knows his stuff!  Plus, he's great at scheduling appointments at the last minute...You will not be disappointed with him.

This review is for great customer service without a sale. Shari ANSWERED the phone when I called. She put me through to Greg to try to troubleshoot. They did everything they could and put me on a work-in list when we couldn't fix it on the phone. They were positively delightful. We will call them the next time we need help.

Kevin is a fabulous electrician.  We hired him to install more pocket lights in our living room and I interviewed five other electricians.  He was by far the most honest, kind, and fair in price. I felt very confident in his work.  He did the job quick, cleaned up his mess (which was minimal), and was so sweet and kind to my six kids.  I just hired him again for some other minor electric work around my house and pleased as ever.  He was on time, fair on price, and even held my baby when he reached for him.  I would DEFINITELY not look any further if you need an electrician.  THANK YOU KEVIN!

We had to have some outlets replaced before selling our house, I contacted Juan after getting another quote that I felt was overpriced.  Juan was quick to respond, and offered some suggestions to contain cost. He was able to come out later in the evening and got the job done that day!  He was on time, he was quick and efficient and we found the cost to be very fair.  Overall this was a very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend him to my friends and family.

I just needed to have a circuit tested, so nothing complicated here, but everything went smoothly and according to expectation at every step, with friendly service on the phone and in person. Had an excellent experience dealing with Dan, who worked on multiple fixes in my home. You know someone is serious about their work when the first thing they do after arriving is setting up a work bench with all the relevant tools for the job.

Shopping around for electrical work was not easy.  I kept getting quotes from big box electrical companies thinking that they were the only ones that could do my whole house remodel, but the prices were unreasonable and way over my project estimate for electrical.
So, I moved to support a locally owned business. I wanted someone that I could trust with my whole house remodel which included replacing all the electrical wiring including installing a new panel on my  60-year-old home.
Jeff, the Owner, did an amazing job. He was meticulous and we could not have been happier with the work that he did.  When it came time for the inspection, the City Inspector was impressed with his work.  He said, looks like he takes pride in his work! In addition to rewiring the whole house in the structural state, he added can lighting, and also added up-lights to the outside which gives the house a whole new look.

Maury is the absolute best electrician.  He's honest, reliable and knowledgeable.  After meeting with 3 other electricians, I wasn't satisfied with what they were telling me either because it seemed like they didn't know what they were doing or they were charging to much.  I gave yelp a try and 3 Wire Electric came up so I scheduled an appt. and immediately knew he would be my go to electrician from now on.  In addition to his tremendous knowledge, he really cares about doing the job right.  And he cleans up after himself!

They sent an aggressive, high pressure salesman to try and persuade me to purchase a system with options, technical specifications or extended service plans that I don't want or need. Their technicians get paid off of commission and it shows.

I spent a lot of money to have a new system installed by Jon Wayne for the downstairs of my home. It has been in my home for a little over 72 hours and this new unit has worked for less than 24. I am currently being told that it will be at least three or four days before their 24/7 service professionals will be able to even come to my house and determine that they installed a unit with a busted compressor.

I have never lived anywhere that had such a lack of reputable businesses to handle HVAC issues. It seems that all the companies here are working together to make pricing for their services less than transparent and prices artificially high. I suspect they are engaged in price gouging and market manipulation for this market. I will be bringing my concerns to the Texas AG
