Established in 2004.
When the State Electrical license came into being, I saw that the playing field was leveled and I took the State masters test, passed it, and opened my business. I have focused on providing the best service that I can to residential customers, they have referred me and the business has grown.
ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
I started my electrical career as an electrician's helper in a work study program in High school. I worked half days, weekends and summers throughout High school.
I attended Sam Houston State University (82'), also working as an electrician, for my part time work. I left the University for a while to work full time for an electrical contractor for several years. I returned to SHSU, as a licensed Journeyman electrician, got a job working for the University as a Maintenance Electrician. I finished my coursework at SHSU with a BBA in General Business Administration and during the same time period, was able to get my first Electrical Masters License with the City of Huntsville. I worked as an electrician for several more years, in Killeen TX and San Antonio TX on major commercial projects for the Government. While in San Antonio, I went to work for Summit Electric Supply for 9 years in Electrical Sales. I Passed the State Masters test. Opened my business in 04 and now have six trucks.

Brian with Allgood Electric has been incredible to work with. Lightning struck my house, and we needed lots of diagnostics and repairs. He called me every day and took a long time explaining every finding, every option, and every step. He is thorough and patient. I felt confident in his knowledge and work. will be using them for all my future electrical needs.
I called All Good for some light outlets I wanted replaced around the house that were causing problems. They quickly sent an electrician over who quoted me $530 for replacing 5 light switches and 2 outlets. After he was finished with 2 switches and 2 outlets, he began to pack up and leave. I said what about the other 3 outlets? He said the quote was for switches and each outlet had multiple switches. Maybe it was just miscommunication, but he was at my house for 45 minutes and charged me $504. That seems pretty steep. The outlet below cost $175 to replace-took 10 minutes.
Allgood is all good, actually all great. They did three projects for $573. I'll hire them again when needed.

3 stars, because several years ago we had a decent experience. Recently, not so much.
Asked them to come out for estimate for several fixes our inspector identified, and to fix our door bell.
The guy wrote up an estimate, and said he fixed the doorbell by connecting 2 wires. Before he left, I asked if it was fixed and then he tried it & still no sound. He then said trouble shooting would be an extra $189 on the estimate..
My husband replaced & installed the doorbell for a fraction of the cost.
We got an estimate from another company and it was $130 less.
I had a couple circuit breakers that kept tripping. I was able to arrange for an appointment next morning. The personnel were identified in advance so I knew who was coming. They showed up on time and quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem. I couldn't be happier with the service.

The power went out in half of my house at 11:30 pm. I called Allgood at 7:50am and power was restored by 9am! David was great! They were fast and got me back to 100% within about an hour! I would highly recommend!

We had just moved into our house when we discovered the dryer outlet was not working. I contacted Allgood and they responded right away. Think I talked to Troy and he asked me something about a circuit breaker but i know nothing about anything electrical. So he said ok, we'll get someone out there today. David showed up, took a look at the outlet then went oustside, came back in, hit the on button on dryer and presto! Working dryer! The breaker had tripped. Took all of 5 mins to fix my problem. I should be embarrassed I didnt know how to fix this but I do now! Best money i ever spent that day because i considered this an emergency. I even got the feeling David wasnt going to charge me for this because I had to ask how much as he was walking out. David stopped and looked at his partner and paused. I kinda had to prod him, they had come all the way out here and rescued my day. I wasnt gonna let them leave without any payment. They did give me a fee but only after i pushed for it. And the fee was totally reasonable. Honesty. How do you put a price on that these days? I will never forget this. And will use Allgood again without a doubt. Totally recommend them. You wont be sorry.

Excellent service and super satisfied.
I submitted a request via Yelp. Debbie responded super quickly. We chatted on the phone and she was able to get someone out same day to check it out, which was awesome. Once I scheduled the appointment, I got a text message confirming the appointment. Brian called to let me know they were on their way.
Brian and Anthony came right inand checked it out. I explained that I needed help with a smart switch I was installing and couldn't get it to work. They knew exactly what needed to be done and how. They let me know how much. I agreed and they went right to work.
Those guys were very professional. Had great conversation. Was super cool geeking out with Anthony on Lord of The Rings, The Hobbit and other epic novels.
Once they were done, they cleaned up, I paid the invoice and they were off. What I also really appreciated was that they explained everything to me in a way that was easy to understand. Plus they gave some invaluable advice on another project I want to tackle.

The AC went out on a Friday. Unfortunately, it was determined to be an electrical problem. All Good provided friendly service, knowledgeable and efficient technician.
Allgood installed my generator lockout switch and did so at a reasonable price. They also installed a 240 inlet box for my welder early on and did so without overcharging me. Would I use them again, yes.

Just a quick note to anyone who wants to get a Sense Energy unit installed - they do not offer this service.
I asked for a quote on a small project. I got a response in minutes, a quote in less than an hour and project finished all in less than 2 hours. Can't beat that!!!

On a Saturday, 1/2 of my house had no electricity which was a major problem for me because my computer and work was affected. Mr. Allgood came out that day, replaced a part and everything was back up again. I have been with them for a few years and highly recommend this company.

We were very pleased with the service from Allgood Electric and would use them again. Courteous, knowledgable and excellent work. To me they are pricy, but so are all the electricians these days. Having said that, we believe the work product was worth the price and highly recommend them.

Sorry Troy, appointment was from 0800 to 1000. Either someone on your team is lying to you or they don't have their crap together. See the screenshot I'm posting that your team sent me.
I inquired about installing a NEMA 14-50 plug in my garage. Allgood was quick to respond and send an electrician out. Service panel was outside my house and required a PVC conduit to be run about 200 feet to my garage. I had two other quotes from electricians.
Allgood quoted me $4250.00 for the project. An obscene amount which felt fraudulent. Pawson Electric did the installation for me for $850.00 with a great result. I have told three other people about my experience with Allgood.

It's rare to find an electric company this good but I glad we found them and will continue to use them
Requested a quote for two ceiling fan installations - did this with several companies but Allgood was not only the sole company to respond but they did so within minutes and we able to schedule within a matter of days.
Today we received a call to verify times - they arrived within the early part of the time allotment and the electrician did a fabulous professional job ; quickly removing the old fans and replacing ( and building ) the new.
It was easy , fast and professional. Excellent service and would call again
Needed a camera doorbell hardwired and an outlet fixed that has gone out. Setting an appointment was easy and quick. Service was prompt, techs were very communicative and up front about everything they needed to do. Would absolutely go with Allgood again for any future electrical projects.

I had 2 outside electric boxes that were not working. Allgood Electric came out that day because one was needed for internet. Allgood Electric replaced the 2 boxes. About 5 months later one of the boxes was not working again. I called Allgood Electric and they came out right away, replaced one box and re-caulked. Allgood Electric stood by their work. I am very happy with this company for standing by their work.
I have used this company twice now and I they will be my go too every time. They give great prices and excellent service.
I had an electrical problem that made it seem that my house was haunted. Lights were flickering, going on and off somewhat randomly, my CD player kept acting like it was dying, and many of my appliances acted like they didn't have enough uuumph to get the job done.
I dropped them a line on here, and the owner himself replied with helpful advice to call the utility company, they'll look into it at no charge! Troy gave me his cell, and was extremely helpful. I'm hiring him ASAP for another project for my mom's place.
I am very impressed with Allgood, Troy and Sylvia were fast responders to assess my electrical needs. I feel this business's approach and timeliness of response are what I look for in repair, maintenance or installation service. I was really impressed with all Allgood's alacrity. I bought a new cooktop and found out the old wire was not suited for it. I called another company before Allgood Electric and left a message to this first one then I called Allgood. Someone actually answered and booked me an appointment right away. They came gave me an estimate in minutes and I just had to go with them, after my appointment was set I got a call back from the first place. I liked a lot that Allgood keeps you informed by texting you. I was very pleased with the job done. They rewired from the kitchen to the outside electric box, job was neat, clean and fast. Kudos to Michael Lemon and associate. Thank you very much.

It's hard and a bit scary to find service companies when you are new to the state, so I consider myself more than lucky to have found Allgood. They are, ALL GOOD. Ultimately decided to hold off on a project for now as it turned out to be more involved that's I initially anticipated, but thought their prices were very reasonable. EXTREMELY PLEASED! I needed a wall outlet installed in my hallway and I am very pleased with the work AllGood completed. Stephen arrived on time and was very professional. He answered all my questions and installed the outlet at a reasonable price. I will definitely be recommending ALLGOOD to my friends and family. Next time I need any electrical work, I know who to call.
Very disappointed in their bidding practices. While hiring Allgood to do a review of repairs on a home purchase, they initially refused to provide an itemized bid. One received we understand why. They were charging $1000 to secure some wires and install a j-box ($500 j-box + $500 wire secure). While we understand accessing the crawl space may result in additional labor charges, this was excessive. All of their other charges were reasonable but this resulted in the seller of the home refusing to do our repairs and I unfortunately understand his perspective. Troy the owner was very short and rude to communicate with over the phone and email. He ultimately pinned the high rate on information provided that the access was small and he only had one tech he believed he could use. This was confusing as my husband who is 6ft/180lbs was the one who went under and photographed the areas for the tech who was uncomfortable navigating the crawl space. I'm at a loss for their decision making process on bidding business.

Jacob arrived on time and walked me through how he proposed to troubleshoot my issue. He kept me advised throughout the process and fixed the issue on the first try (afci breaker kept tripping). I will definitely keep AllGood in mind for any electrical issues in the future.
First and foremost I would highly recommend to anyone needing electrical work done to a home or place of business. We just moved into a 1955 mid century ranch style home that had a 2 room addition added during the 90s. Our home was running on fuses and traditional breakers (interior). The exterior fuse box was an old Federal Pacific panel that had to be removed (fire hazard). The job cost was just under 10k (very competitive bid) for combining the 2 interior boxes and updating the exterior panel. They were on time and ahead of schedule. Very polite and informative. ALSO as a sign of appreciation they even installed a 220 outlet for our dryer that had to be relocated in our garage (that wasn't in the original bid). So if you are debating which electrician to call for your home or business repair, don't bother just call these guys they will treat you right.
I've never called electricians except when something goes wrong. Allgood is awesome for how quickly they respond and how great their service is. They are knowledgeable and can quickly figure out where the issue is that caused the call. Troy was courteous of my house and those in it. They do not try to up sell the problem.

Truly the BEST electric company in San Antonio. Re-wired my house last year and did an amazing job for half the cost John Wayne wanted to charge and did a hell of a better job. Our fridge was tripping the breaker the other week and the All Good Electric team took my call after hours, and offered to come on a Saturday (when they are closed); then replaced the breaker at no charge (honored warranty). I was absolutely dumb-founded and am a lifelong customer as long as I live or own property in San Antonio
I contacted All Good to do a home inspection since our bill jumped 85%since last year. Within a 3 working days they sent out Jose. He quickly checked our house out. Jose answered all my questions in a way I could understand. He gave me some really good advice and was very friendly and very helpful. I will be using All Good for electrical ipssues in the future.
PS - give your guy a glass of icewater, its freakin hot out there

Had a couple problems at the homestead - old wiring and an inadequate repair job by the former owner, also an aborted fix attempt by myself left me at the mercy of a repairman.
The electrician that was sent Myles quickly realized and explained the problem. They quickly fixed it and cleaned up afterward. I would definitely use Allgood again.
I am not sure if their price was better than others but the service quality was fantastic!
We were very pleased with the service that Allgood Electric provided. Ronnie was thorough and able to resolve our electrical issue quickly. The cost for service was fair. We are planning to use Allgood Electric for future rewiring/remodeling projects as well. Great work!

We recently moved to San Antonio from Chicago- we have had a TERRIBLE time with getting help with our projects around the house. Electricians were the worst at showing up! Thank goodness for Allgood! From the moment I first called in and spoke with Troy, I knew I could depend on this company!! Very professional and on time! Our electrician, Jose, was extremely professional and helpful. He got our job done right! They are not the lowest cost in town, but they are also definitely not the highest. I believe charge was very fair and cost was worth it to have piece of mind that the job was done in a timely manner and it was done correctly. We used Allgood Electric a few months ago when we just purchased our home. We wanted to update our lighting throughout the house by removing bulky fixtures and installing recessed lighting. We also moved a repair outlet and cable outlet higher on the wall (for purposes of mounting the TV) and added an exterior outlet with an on/off switch for the patio area. We had a great experience with Allgood Electric from the very beginning. We called one day and they were able to come out to the house the very next day to check everything out and get us a quote. They also gave us multiple options on our quote that we could pick from because we weren't exactly sure what we wanted. Once we picked our options, they set up an appointment and had everything completed in a day. The entire process took less than a week from the day that we first called them. We were very satisfied with their work and customer service!

Extremely knowledgeable and very reliable. They fixed a problem with my outdoor lighting that 2 other electricians weren't able to fix. Changed out my smoke detectors and waiting to make sure there was no chirping before they left. I was very happy with Allgood and would definitely recommend.
I called Allgood Electric because they were on Angie's List. The electrician was here for about 2 hours and....... I RECEIVED a $600.00 BILL..... The electrician had a younger man with him that he was training...maybe I was charged for TWO ELECTRICIANS? I did call the office and complain about the bill I received so they sent out the same electrician who said He would come back again when he was in the neighborhood....STILL WAITING..........

This company is very prompt and reasonable. The owner, Troy, called me back the same day and made a service call to my home on a Saturday morning. Most other companies I contacted had an outrageous hourly fee and nearly doubled for a weekend appointment. Troy was very reasonable with his pricing and fixed my outage within an hour. Two of my outlets stopped working after a bad thunder and light night storm so I called Allgood electric because they were reviewed very high on angies list and I'm glad I did! Over the phone he asked me to go into my garage and find an electrical outlet with a GFI that may be tripped and sure enough he was right! I'm definitely using this company in the future and recommending to friends as they saved me a LOT of time/frustration/money today at no reward to them. Amazing company!
Had Jacob come out to hookup electric to a pump for our plumbing company and he knocked it out of park! Fair price and a really great guy! Highly recommend Allgood Elec and recommend Jacob O. They saved the day!

great experience. found this company via angies list. i had an outside light that stopped working so contacted them and they were out within 24 hours. they called when they were within a half hour or arriving and 2 electricians were at my door. they took apart the light and fixed it within a half hour. i thought the repair was going to be a replacement of the light costing over $200 but the repair cost $29. will use them again!
Great experience will Allgood. I tried another Electrician first but could not get an appointment for 2+ weeks, so they recommended Allgood as a reliable option, so I gave them a try. I asked for a Saturday appointment and they were able to accommodate (not many quality electricians will). The electrician was kind and even showed us how to DIY on a few items to save us $$$. Highly recommend and will use again

I scheduled an appointment on Thursday for Monday. I waited at my house the from 11-2 as instructed, made sure to keep my phone with me incase they called and by 2 no one had arrived or called. I called and spoke to Sylvia who told me my appt had been cancelled because my phone was disconnected. I said that's not correct I've been taking calls all morning. I asked her if she maybe dialed wrong and she said No I dialed it twice. I then said well hang up and call me right back, cause I want to know if she was dialing a wrong number. What she said next made me so mad it is the reason I'm writing this review. She said to me well you obviously just paid your bill and got your phone turned back on. Now I don't to be snobby but I have never had my phone turned off in my life......ever. And another thing cell phones don't even say the number you are calling is disconnected, that is only for land lines, so clearly she was dialing a wrong number and she wouldn't even cooperate with me and try to find a solution. I will not be using this company although part of me wants to just so they can see the 25 acre gated estate I live on, there would be no question about paying a phone bill.

The time from email request for quote to electrician showing up for estimate to work being done was 3 days. I had 4 security lights installed which required pulling wire from garage through three attic spaces. They had it all done in about 6 hours. I never expected such a quick turn around and quality work. They also made some great recommendations which had me even more satisfied with the job. Jose, Miles and Romeo were awesome. I highly recommend Allgood Electric.

Our house was too dark. Allgood solved the problem by replacing existing can lights with LED cans and adding additional ones. They also added controls for our ceiling fans. They arrived as scheduled, worked diligently and were professional throughout. We are thrilled with the final product and have already arranged for additional work to be done. Allgood has my business for life!

got a deal off of yelp needed to find out what was wrong with my outlets,the deal was $150 for $200 worth of work figured it should cover it.The electrician showed up nice guy changed out some outlets minor stuff work was good then he foumd out about my coupon,thats when hidden fees starting coming into play it totaled to exactly $200 found that convienient for them either way the electrician had 15 plus years in his field and I havent had a problem with my electricity since so my advice get all the service fee's and parts for outlets etc. out in the open before they show up.

Myles arrived at exactly the appointed time. After explaining our problem, he performed his due diligence with dispatch to find a solution to the problem, which was an oven that was not receiving an electrical current. He readily identified the problem and found the solution. He was most courteous. I plan to continue my use of the company when issues present themselves.
Fantastic response time and quality work! I had a return phone call within the hour of my first call and an appointment for an estimate within 2 days! The electrician arrived promptly for the estimate, which we felt was reasonable enough that I didn't bother getting any other quotes. He and his assistant also arrived promptly for our installation appointment and the work was done neatly and completed in a timely manner. They provided helpful suggestions related to the job, and even gave us a referral for Richardson's Lighting, who offered us a discounted price on all light fixtures we purchased. We were extremely pleased and would not hesitate to call Allgood again. What a different experience we had with them vs. the experience we had with their competitor. That company wasted a month of our time and wouldn't even return our phone calls so the opportunity to work with Allgood, a company who actually believes in customer service, was a rare find these days. We had a great experience with Allgood and highly recommend them.
