Best Businesses in Texas
Harry Combs and HFC Services are the only plumbers you should ever call. They're knowledgeable, up front, honest and only ask a fair price for their services. I can't say enough good things about Harry and the way he conducts business. He'll work with you to find the best solution to solve any problem you may have and he won't gouge you on the price.
I called out several plumbers to look at my job. It was a big job! Harry wasn't the cheapest, but others were far far more expensive.
In the end, Harry Combs was the only one that was able to give me the level of trust I needed, and he got the job done.
When it comes to plumbers, HFC plumbing isn't at the top of my list, Harry Combs is the only one on my list. I'm not calling anyone else.

The poorest and worse managed plumbing company that I ever found.
After dealing with them over the phone for more than a month about a leak under the slab they showed up to my house. After a previous plumber finding where the problem was they still spending more than 3 hours to figure out how and from where to get the job started. I had to call a third party company to help them to unclog a clogged pipe line because they have no tools to have the pipeline cleaned. It took more than 4 hours to they start the job for what they were contracted. The worse was all these hours spent doing nothing was charged as worked hours. The third party company did the unclogging job in less than half hour. The Accu-Find employees took a hour lunch with was charged from me as a regular working hour.
At certain time of the service I told them to stop the job and go back to their homes.
It was the ONLY plumbing company that gave me the quote for the entire repair and then charges dollars amount (around $100.00) after 7 hours of work is reached. Very convenient to the company but not to the costumer. I called my previous plumber company which took care of everything and gave warranty of SEVEN years and charged me 1/4 of price of Accu-Find first estimated.
Be careful, Accu-Find will offer a maximum of 2 years warranty and they are not equipped with the necessary tools for the necessary job. This was my sad experience with this company.
I do not recommend this company to anyone.

I needed to have a new lock installed on my garage, and the residential locksmith I hired was able to recommend the best option for my needs. They installed it quickly and professionally and even gave me tips on how to better secure my garage.

Jason was amazing! Hasn't even left my driveway and I'm leaving a review. Came on short notice to diagnose and discover the issue with why I wasn't getting cold water through the washer valve making doing laundry a hassle. Fixed it quickly and also fixed my running toilet that cost me so much in water bills since I moved in! Reasonable prices for parts and labor and has CC convenience. Will be my go to from now on as a new home owner. He is very busy for a reason! Thank you Jason!

Mr. Dyson
I had a flooding problem in my bathroom, and it turned out that the AC condensation/bathtub drain was clogged. I called Mr. Dyson, and he came right away to take a look. He was very friendly and professional, and he quickly diagnosed the problem. He cleared the gunk and mud from the drain, and the flooding stopped immediately.
I was very impressed with Mr. Dyson's work. He was fast, efficient, and honest. He didn't try to upsell me on anything, and he didn't charge me any extra fees, a rare moment of honesty in this age of imperial franchising(pardon my economists BS). I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber.

Had someone go out to unclog my drain. He said it was 100 ft snake then said 84 ft snake?! Didn't make sense! Got charged $88 for a job not completed!! Where are all the HONEST people these days!! They send inexperienced plumbers with the wrong size snake!?!

I used RC Pros's services during the winter storm earlier this year. First off, this review is mostly directed towards the management of RC Plumbing, not the plumbers and technicians who came and did the work.
The workers were professional and courteous. The work they did was decent, but they were obviously stressed for time and overworked. They did not completely patch one of the pipe leaks during their first attempt, but did come back quickly the next day to finish the job. I just hoped they could wear the plastic booties more often, because a few of them tracked mud all over the house.
Now regarding the management, they were very unprofessional, dishonest, and uncommunicative. The biggest issues we had with them were with (1) what services they could provide, (2) billing, and (3) communications/scheduling.
1. I had two pipes that burst because of the winter storm: a regular pipe and a fire sprinkler pipe. I found out that not all plumbers are licensed to repair fire sprinkler pipes and we would need to hire somebody who could do that. When I called and asked RC Pros if they were licensed, they assured us that they were licensed to do these repairs and they even provided email confirmation from their management regarding their licenses. However, I still had to wait before they were ready to start on the fire sprinkler repair - over the next couple months, the receptionists over the phone justified the long wait with different reasons, alternating between that they had the license, but needed a Texas state fire marshal to authorize the repair, and that they were still trying to be licensed for the fire sprinkler repair.
In the end, after waiting for months, we were told that they did not have the license and could only offer a refund. By then other licensed local plumbers had extensive waiting lists on fire sprinkler repair, ranging from 3 to 10 months.
2. Billing seemed business as usual until my husband had to submit the invoices/receipts to my insurance agents for claims. The management initially refused to send the itemized receipts, claiming that they can simply forward it to the insurance agents directly. This was all sorts of shady, and they only relented when my husband pulled out an earlier copy of itemized invoice that they had emailed us. It was only then that we found out they've double billed us for the initial estimate on the fire sprinkler repair - over $1k charged twice, which they offered to take off one entry as refund. Had we not insisted to at least view an itemized receipt, we'd be charged an extra $1,150, which was horrendously overpriced, because the subsequent licensed plumber was able to do the repair for $260.
3. The management was responsive initially - when I or my husband called, they called back within a day or two, and scheduled workers who arrived on time. But once they completed repairs to the regular pipe leak and had no progress on the license for the fire sprinkler repair, it took multiple calls in a week with emails to get an update.
At one point we started getting residual leaks from the broken fire sprinkler head - water dripped throughout the night sporadically, when we called to scheduled for them to send someone to take a look, the management first refused, and then upon scheduling for someone to check the residual leak, the person never showed up. We called the next week and was assured that it was just a scheduling error, and the person will make another attempt to visit. It was another no show.
The sad part was that when I called their office, the receptionist was so surprised that she asked, over the phone, that if we were -sure- it was their company who missed two appointments in a row. And since my husband was calling them initially, they've stopped responding to his cell number - he'd call, got into voice mail, then I'd call, and it was picked up right away. This was a regular occurrence for the last month and half before them giving up and offered a refund.
So to sum it up - honest, hard working plumbers and workers who did their best with the time and resources they had, but the management was rife with errors and obvious miscommunication, if not outright intentional neglect.

I'm not at all satisfied with Baker Brothers Plumbing and AC. My wife and I arranged an appointment to get an estimate on the installation of a high velocity system in our home. The appointment was for Monday at 3 pm. I even called off work to be at home with the wife.
We waited till 5 pm and no one showed up! We eventually left and started running other errands. I was so mad that I wasted a half day at home doing nothing.
I followed up with an email asking to reschedule and one week later I still have not received a response.
