I recently bought a house in Cypress, after moving from Spring, TX. The house was built in 2002 and needs a lot of updating and electrical work in general. I had Blue Electrical Contractors come out twice to the new house to install new light fixtures and ceiling fans, as well as add a new electrical outlet, garage light switch, and two new outdoor wall light fixtures, which required them cutting into the brick siding to install. They always charge what they quote; show up on time; clean up afterwards; and do an excellent job. Their prices are excellent and they do both residential and commercial electrical work. I have used other electrical companies here in Houston, but have found Blue Electrical Contractors to be the best so far. They are also licensed by the State of Texas. I will continue to use and recommend them. I give them five stars!

Extremely pleased with the services provided by Blue Electrical. We needed to have a chandelier removed from one location in a room and a new chandelier installed in another location in the same room. Fairly simple and straightforward job for an experienced electrician. We sent out for 4 quotes; 3 companies came out for an initial quote and all were incredibly high for a simple, 1 to 2 hr job.

Blue provided a quick, fairly priced quote immediately and we hired them for the next day. The two folks came out promptly at 8:00am and were done within 1.5hrs, and at least 30 minutes of that were just to unpack and set up the new chandelier. Unfortunately where the old chandelier had been was going to be a hole in the ceiling with wires hanging out until I could drywall it up; all the other contractors said hey we're just electricians - we don't do drywall and so I didn't ask Blue to fix the hole. Blue's employees installed - without me asking - a cover over the hole which looks great.

Fair price for the work performed, simple ordering process and professional people. All I could ask and more than I expected.

I recently bought a house with a few electrical oddities and needed some help. Blue Electrical gave me a very reasonable and competitive quote and sent someone out to get the job done fast.

First I had an old, ugly chandelier removed and a new one installed to be more centered over the dining table. They did such a great job I had them come back later that week to replaced a destroyed light fixture with an LED can light. See my before and after pictures. Their work is solid and I would definitely trust them to work on the rest of my house :)

The team was very polite, courteous and careful throughout my project. Installed 5 down lights, 1 island light and 4 fans in a day for us. Covered all areas they were working in with plastic and cleaned up neatly before leaving. Will call them again next time 100% for all my electrical work!

Amazing service! Caio is professional and courteous, very patient. I asked him to install 3 pendant lights in my kitchen and track lighting in my bar and he did a phenomenal job at all of it. So good in fact I bought a chandelier a week later and hired him again. I will NEVER hire anyone else! 5 stars.

After seeing Blue Electric on Yelp, I called to get an estimate on our project of installing a meter pole along with other electrical services so we could get electricity to our property. Caio came out and quoted us a very fair price and we hired them to do the work. I did not realize how extensive our project was until they got started, but they handled it with no problem. They do quality work and were very efficient. I highly recommend them.

This company is very professional and response time was prompt. I contacted them in regards to a few failed electrical outlets and they came out at my desired appointment time and quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the GFCI in minutes. Called these guys and they came out that afternoon and quoted. It was reasonable. They can be when promised and did the job and cleaned up the area. I would have given them five stars, but they did trample over a few newly planted plants. Other than that it was a great experience. I'll use them again.

Blue Electrical provided a virtual estimate based on our description of the job to have a 240v outlet installed. They arrived on time, were professional and conscientious to wear masks inside our home. They did the work and charged us for what they quoted us. The quote was extremely reasonable and less than half of what other electrians wanted. Touch free payment is available. We highly recommend this company.

I've had them come out twice to my place, once due to an electrical issue from my builder and again to help troubleshoot some smart switch installation. Both time they were helpful and explained everything that was going on the whole time, especially regarding what I did wrong with the smart switch. They also were extremely flexible with scheduling and provided great customer service. Will definitely be coming back to them the next time I break something!

Caio is amazing! I swear I tried resetting the breaker myself and even my dad (who usually fixes things easily) tried to fix it. However, we screwed up because Caio fixed it in less than a minute. Instead of laughing at me or being frustrated with me, Caio showed me what he had done to fix it and suggested what I may have done wrong. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone and will for sure use them should I need any electrical work in the future!

100% recommend. Caio was excellent! I had just remodeled my kitchen and replaced all switches and outlets myself and they were not working properly and I was out of my depth as a DYIer to fix the issue. So I reached out to Caio - sidenote - This was all during Christmas time - even so - Caio was always fast too respond and came out the next day after Christmas. He showed up 30 minutes early and fixed my mistake in under 5 minutes. The most impressive part - he DID NOT charge me anything for his work even though I tried to pay him. I understand that his time is valuable and I appreciated his help so the least I can do is share my story and recommend him to others. I've already recommended to all my neighbors and will be calling him next time I have an electrical problem. Thanks again Caio!

I just want to give a recommendation to Caio Dutra with Blue Electrical Contractor. He and his company went above and beyond to relocate my mom's breaker box from inside the house to outside and replaced burnt out underground wires from the transformer to the meter. His bid for this work was so reasonable and his honesty was very much appreciated, since my first bid from Mr. Electric was 4X the price plus they added in permits that were not necessary for my area. Caio and his crew had to wait many hours for Centerpoint to show up to disconnect/reconnect the power....they waited at the property till Centerpoint's work was done and then completed their work. Very fast. I had an issue and Carlos was at my house an hour later. He was very nice and got the job done very quickly. I was also a little surprised when he told me how much I owed him. Typically I feel like people always try to charge a lot for simple fixes, but their price was more than fair. This is one company to use if you need electrical work done in your home. I had a double switch that needed to be replaced . The owners father came out and did a great job very happy with the work / installation of my new switches . They work fast quick and got the job done in no time with no mess left behind . I highly recommend this company to fix any electrical issues you might have .

Outstanding job and customer service.I contacted 5 electricians on yelp for an estimate for chandelier replacement. Blue electric quote was affordable compared to the others. I contacted the owner and in less than 24hours a technician was at my house. My chandelier was replaced. After the tech left,I wanted the length of my chandelier adjusted.I contacted blue electric again and the owner told me he will pass by with the tech to get the length adjusted at no fee.Again they showed up and got the job done and also put free light bulbs in my chandelier.I am very impressed with their service and highly recommend blue electric.Their communication and costumer service is top notch and they are affordable. I will use them over and over again.Thank God for great business owners like this.

I had been looking for an electrician to install my generator transfer kit. The majority of the companies I talked to seemed un interested and seem to want to upsell me or give an outrageous price. That is until I got a hold of blue electrical. They were fast, reasonably priced and even fixed what my previous electrician had improperly installed. Highly recommend these guys.

Our house needed the outlet for the dryer swapped out and Caio was very easy to work with in getting an estimate done and got someone out to do the work very quickly. The technician accidentally damaged the drywall and Cairo didn't charge for the job and got someone out quickly to repair it. Very impressed with the professionalism of Caio and Blue Electrical Contractors and they have a customer for life.
