After getting three quotes for replacing a outdated breaker box and replacing a loose meter base, Russ Electric got our business. Their price was considerably lower than the other two companies. One of the companies quoted $800 to pull a permit from the City of Garland. Russ Electric took care of it for nowhere near that price.

Two of Russ's electricians arrived at the scheduled appointment time. They were both very professional, courteous and friendly. They even agreed to do some last minute additional work that was not quoted and gave a fair price to include it.

When they completed the job, the area was cleaned of any debris and sweep. Other than a shiny new cover panel on the breaker box, a wall mounted surge protection unit and properly mounted meter base, there was no trace of them being there.

The job was completed within the estimated time, including the additional work and passing the necessary inspection from the city. The only delay was getting the service turned back on by GP&L and it was due to the rainy weather that rolled in later in the day.

Russ Electric will get our business in the future, without us getting any other quotes.

Very polite, gave me options, arrived on time, up front about cost. I had a huge leak in my front yard, they dug The hole, laid new line were covered in mud but pleasant and gave me progress updates as they worked.

If I could give a negative star I would!  I had to completely redo the work he did!  Showed up late did messy terrible work and waisted thousands of my $!  Stay away!  I literally have never left a negative review but just had to do others from Lyle!

Helped my family's first home be safe with a job to ground our gas line... and did excellent work! A family owned company that gives special attention that you just can't get with larger company. Going to have Bret and his team do some more work for us in the future too. A+

I have used this company twice now and excellent service both times. The electrician was prompt, courteous. and knew exactly how to fix my problem, both times i called them to my house. Extra parts are on the truck so they get the job done faster than other electricians.

Amazingly responsive and an excellent value for the dollar. His work was professional, neat and tidy. You can tell a lot about someone's commitment to their craft by the little things, the way conduit is run and whether it's level and plumb. I highly recommend Will for your electrical needs!!

We called on Monday for an appointment for them to come out and unclog drain in our bathroom. They asked which day and time would be good and we said Thursday morning. They gave us a window of 11am to 1pm. Never a call to us during this time. Called them two times and said they were on an emergency and we were next in line. And she was just going to call me. Yeah right. Never heard from them again. Called again at 4:30 and said they were still on emergency and had never tried to call us. Terrible customer service. And what do they have, one plumber? We got there name from Home Advisors. Never again. I only had one day off this week and wasted it for nothing. Still can't use bathroom.

I've used Park Cities Electrical for 13 years, and though I've tried others, they're the absolute best.  All of the people are really nice, and customer service is outstanding.  Usually, when I call to make an appointment, they're available the next day, and they are almost always timely and prompt.  The prices are reasonable, and their technicians are knowledgeable.  I've tried other electricians, including those associated with my Home Warranty Company, but this is the company I rely on, and trust.

I would recommend using another company. To perform a diagnostic test costs $350. The test took less then 5 minutes. Over priced services.

We had a piece of equipment that needed to be fixed. They came out once, and the next day it still wasn't working. They came out again shortly after informing them it wasn't working. Another day passed by, still wasn't working. Long story short, had them come out three times, the piece still isn't working, and we got charged for all three times. Keep in mind one of their reps had informed us that if we call back for the same problem within two weeks we wouldn't get charged. We paid the first bill but tried to dispute the other two, and they just ended up sending us to collection. We paid it because it was easier, however we will never be using this company again and wouldn't recommend anybody using them. They're not good at repairing and they're dishonest.

Rude and unconcerned after multiple contacts to schedule and reschedule and reschedule. Never call never use list! Wow, they need serious customer service training or get out of the business!

I hired Jim Hicks to Install 2 lights for my camera back of an envelope to be hot at all times and repair 1 dusk to dawn light and quoted me on paper $201.50.   However, he wired them to the dusk to dawn lights which was not what I wanted.  He did the back yard and fixed the light under the carport and charged me $220.00.  Then said he would be back and give me a bill.  He showed up on the 13th which was Sunday and did not call and put an illegal connector on my front light which would have gotten me a ticket from the City of Dallas. and charged me an additional $40.00.  I then had to hired another electrician to fix the problem.  He also did not wire the back correctly and they had to fix it because the wires were hanging out.  The second electrician cost me $639.99.  I beleive he owes me that money.  He did not do what he agreed to do and ripped me off and did not give me a bill.  DO NOT USE THIS GUY.  He also made me lose $55.00 on my home warranty due to his lack of respect and no bill.
