Best Plumbing Services in Dallas, TX
The first time I used them, was for a disposal replacement. The installation went okay, but within a few days, my dishwasher started backing up into the sink. I thought it was a different problem, but after hiring an appliance repair company, i found out that Big Blade had not taken the cap off the disposal line and it was causing the problem!! They cost me $100 and when I called them about it, their response basically 'too bad'..... So, a year later, I thought I would give them another chance. I had a broken faucet outside. They said they had to cut a hole in my Sheetrock to access it. Well the hole they cut was 20 from the corner. The faucet was 14 from the corner..... I am a 60 year old woman and I could figure that out.. because they could not access it that way, they then chipped out the brick. The faucet was fixed, but they left wet concrete on my patio that dried and now I cannot get it off. When I asked about fixing the sheetrock hole, their response was to get a sheetrock guy to fix it..... there's another couple hundred I will have to pay because of their error. I'll never use them again. Their plumbers take no pride in their work and obviously neither does the owner. A reputable company would have done something to make their errors right with me.

Our toilet was constantly running and we couldn't figure out why. Called Anchor Plumbing and they got us in same day. The technicians were quick and so polite. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it within an hour.

John was great. His team was very courteous and professional and took great lengths to ensure that they in no way damage our home, even going to the extent of covering their shoes with a plastic bag to avoid bringing in any dirt! the team was able to fix the issue with the water system in our home (there was an odd knocking each time we flushed the toilet). That was about 4 months ago and we still haven't heard the sound. Thanks guys!

I had what appeared to be a slab leak in the utility room of a rental property. Smith and Son Plumbing offered to assess it for free. A competitor of theirs wanted to charge around $250 just to take a look. Chris came out the morning after I called and was able to let me know that it may not be a slab leak after all. I offered to pay them for a house call but both Chris and John at the office told me their assessments are at no charge. One more thing to note. Chris said if I wanted, he could do a system pressure check for me and that it would cost $150 because they were having a sale on the procedure. (it is normally $250). Way this company treated me was far better than any other plumbing company I've dealt with in the past. I'll be sure to contact them again if I have any plumbing issues.

I had them come for a shower and toilet that was running. They sent Desmond. He was unable to fix the issue and actually made it way worse for both the toilet and shower. The company still made me pay and said sometimes it just happens. Well I ended up fixing both issues myself in less than 30 min not counting drive time to get the parts. In my journey to find the parts I started at the same supply store they use. I had the broken shower stems in my hand and they had no idea what it was. Which means Desmond knowingly tried to make the wrong size stem work which could of caused a serious problem. I ended up going to Day's hardware and they helped me find the right part and I fixed the shower leak no problem. They also failed to fix the toilet. I ended up looking at the diagram and figured out how to fix the problem which took me 30 seconds to fix. Desmond is either lazy, stupid or both because I figured out how to fix both issues drove to get the parts and fixed both problems in less than 2 hours and I knew nothing about plumbing earlier today. If you can't fix something then fine... it's just unprofessional to charge to make things worse

Daniel came in and saved the day with our shower remodel project. Our tub needed to be relevelled after another contractor messed up the installation. We also needed the plumbing connections to the shower handle/valve to be re-aligned...again fixing another contractor's mistake.
My wife and I were both impressed with his ability to not only do the job well but to put every effort into finding the best solution (i.e. the professional way to resolve the problem and connect everything together). Also, his communication throughout the project was top notch. I had never met him before this job started, so I'm not trying to help a buddy. I honestly just want others to find good contractors. Go with this company. They're the type of people you want.

Called Sachse Plumbing this morning and spoke to Kenny, described toilet clogged up, recent foundation post leak check up indicated sewage leak so i thought this clog has something to do with the leak. Like must residents, we are leery trusting a plumber for something we cannot see under the slab. Kenny explained to me that they will first attempt to solve the problem, which is to unclog the toilet, if that does not work, they will expand further, he sent a plumber over within a few hours, he is professional, courteous, has all the equipment needed, fixed the issue within 30 mins, and ensure me that it is working fine and no heed to do extensive testing. Sachse plumbing is just 1/2 mile from me, I will always call them when I need help with plumbing issue. Their price is reasonable. Thank you Sachse Plumbing!

Tankless water heater went out. Got here ASAP. Assess the situation, went through in great detail with us and presented options for us to be able to go forward. Highly recommend.

We have used Tri County a few different times and, while sometimes it may be difficult to get ahold of them (common in this area of East Texas where services are scarce) they are always honest, do a good job, and do not try to up-sell you on useless services. I recommended them to my parents, which says it all.

We hired this company to find a leak at our home. They came out, said the leak was in the yard but didn't try to find out where. They said they'd charge $4500 to run a new water line but didn't attempt to find out where the leak was in the yard. We were paying them to find the leak and still had NO answer as to where it was. They charged $675 for this!!!!

Called them to request a quote. For them to come out there was a charge that could be waived if we choose them.
Quotes are usually free because that is the cost of doing business.

This is not a complaint about their work- that was fine (they unclogged a backed up sewer line) or about their promptness; they were here when they said they would be. The problem is they gave us an estimate of $2800 to do a spot repair of another section of the sewer line and insisted this was on our side and so the city wouldn't be responsible. The plumber tried pretty hard to get us to agree to that repair, plus an additional repair, for a total of $4350. We decided to get a second opinion before agreeing to spending that kind of money. Then we called the City of Dallas, and had them come out to evaluate the problem, just to make sure this wasn't something they would fix. And guess what? The City DID fix it, that day, (a Sunday!) for free, of course.
I'm really disappointed that Benjamin Franklin employed scare tactics and did not suggest we at least try calling the city; yes, they would have lost out on this job, but they would have bought my complete confidence in them, and they would have won me as a customer for life. Instead, I will never call them again, and I am giving them this bad review. Shame, isn't it?

I used All Metro Plumbing Service today which left me a disappointed. He overcharges for open ground work as if under a slab. I failed to get an estimate before the work because I would have never paid that amount if I had known. He actually drove up and started before I came outside and that's how the estimate got bypassed. I know work looks different when repaired but this is way off and it should look similar to before he started. I needed my water on but I wouldn't use them again for those reason. He was nice but charged too much using a pricing book but under the wrong label because there was no slab. Last problem is he didn't want to take a check is trust issues so if he doesn't trust I won't again. His name was Michael and he's the owner but I can't use him again.

I used this company for an Gas Test inspection. They were horrible. The owner didn't want to do anything but get paid. He came over and looked at the water heater and furnace, and said everything looked ok. He didn't even want to put his gauge to pressure test the system. He wanted to use an old gauge that i had. When the city inspector came out, he said that there were several things that needed to be fixed. The inspector said that the plumber should have know these basic things. He also told me that the gauge was not valid and I needed an up to date gauge. This guy never returned any of my calls in regards to the inspection. i had to find a another plumber to complete the job. Don't walk but run away from this company.

This is a very, very deceitful company. I needed a new toilet in the kids bathroom, and wanted to put in a good one. I got prices from Lowe's and Home Depot, then decided to check with the professionals. I called the company and asked about pricing, and was told they cannot give any prices until the plumber comes out and looks at the situation. I said can you give me a range or price for a normal install?
No, of course not. So, dummy me, I agreed to pay $49 for a bid. I thought that if they were a bit more than the retail stores it might be worth it.
The plumber that came out was very nice, very professional, and cleanly dressed. Then I started feeling like I was at an Amway meeting. He pulled out presentation cards that explain how they do things. At this point he had been there almost an hour and I had yet to get a price. Then he explained they use something like flat rate prices. This meant the guy on the phone was lying, because they have a set price for everything. He also would not split out the price between the labor and materials.
Then he finally showed me the prices. To quote my teenagers OMG! The toilet I wanted would be $1,000 installed. I went out later and order the exact same one with installation at Home Depot for $438(before a 10% HD credit card discount).
When I gave the plumber the $49 check and told him to hit the road he was a bit snooty and commented on their great service. My first thought was if this is the type of ongoing service I can look forward to, forget it. My second thought was that you can provide some pretty good service if you charge more than double for your products and service.
I am usually not a sucker, but I was suckered by Metro-Flow Plumbing and their lack of honesty. I assume they much leach onto the elderly or people who are unable to go out and check and validate prices. I may yet file a complaint with the BBB.
