I needed a plumber to repair the leaking outdoor faucet of my home.  I had a couple of bad experiences with a well known company you see around North Dallas but will not post their name here.  

I have to admit, the reviews for Micah's Honest Plumbing on Yelp were all favorable, which was pretty good.  But my personal experience with companies that use words such as reliable, Honest, Christian, or any other biblical references; turn out to be the opposite of what you would expect.   So I was somewhat hesitant!

I call and left a voice message, and received a return call within 10 minutes from Jennifer Cook.  She was very polite, friendly, and was in not rush to get me off the phone.  She was able to schedule my repair for the next day, which was 3 days sooner then any of the other plumbers I contacted.

The guys arrived as scheduled and explained what they had planned to do.  This can be very simple, or somewhat complicated; depending on the pipes in your home.  I was very lucky, because the repair was a basic replacement.

My experience with Micah's was very simple, basic, good Ole school service.  The kind of outstanding customer service you just don't see anymore !!!

So check this out.........After payment was made, I mentioned a problem I was having in my bathroom.  He understood that I had done a portion of the repair before, and offer tips on how to complete the repair myself.  He did not try to sell me on more services..........and here's what was amazing.  He went to his truck to show me what I needed from Home Depot or Lowes, and he said Here...you can have this one, take it !!   I offered to pay for the new piece but he said....No problem.

We have had an outdoor leaky faucet for quite some time and it was getting worse so we called a local plumber,  Garcia Plumbing.  Georgia was very friendly on the phone and after I told her what was wrong she knew exactly what needed to be fixed and gave me a price quote.  Eddie came out the next day and did a great job fixing the problem and the cost was less that estimated.  We will definitely use Garcia Plumbing in the future and tell others about them also.

Had a blocked sewer line at my 63 year old house (original plumbing). Daniel came out and spent over 5 hours with dogged determination to clear the line. His persistence definitely paid off, and he was/is our hero of the day!  I highly recommend Jerrell's Plumbing Service!

He was very nice he was prompt he gave us a reasonable price he also showed us how to turn off the water coming to the house I would recommend him not strictly cause of price but he is generally a friendly person he explained everything he did I'll be keeping his number for future God forbide plumbing issues I highly recommend him

Had Lex come to do an insurance job, as he was the only choice my home insurance offered. Refused to fix the insurance job for the expected $60 and said my problem needed $350 worth of extras to install a tap and replace a garbage disposal. He didn't connect my dishwasher, and it literally covered the kitchen floor the next day.

Likewise, had a similar massively overpriced quote on installing 2 x water heaters. Found better quote from practically everyone else. I installed my water heaters at over $1000 cheaper and got a 9year guarantee by going elsewhere.

Would avoid Lex if you have an alternative option.

Do not waste your time with this company.  I called to schedule a sewer clean out and was quoted $197 for a cash discounted price. I was given a time frame of 10am-12pm for arrival. Come 1:30pm no word from the plumber. I called and texted, no response. At 4:30 the plumber texts to say he 'got stuck at a previous job and his phone died'. He says he can come by between 6-8pm to perform the work. Needless to say I am sceptical at this point. It is now 9pm and still no plumber. No call and no show. This is not a professional company that honors it's word. Do what I will be doing and find a reputable place to take your business.

Our second time to use Schrade Plumbing.  Couldn't be more pleased.
Very reasonable rates and service charge. Fast, outstanding work by a friendly and skilled technician.  Highly recommended.

Had an emergency flood from a toilet valve that burst.  KMP Plumbing was able to come out within a few hours and the service guy, Duffy, was GREAT!  Very professional and fixed out issue right away!  We will use KMP Plumbing for any plumbing issues going forward for sure.  I was out of town for work and quickly pulled up Yelp to find someone while He was trying to get the water to shut off.  Saw positive feedback from yelp and called and they were able to be out very quickly.

It's been a crazy week with freezing temperatures and I had a busted pipe that was discovered on Tuesday. They had a cancellation and were able to get out there first thing this morning. They were in an out in about an hour. Reasonably priced and very professional. Great people. Richard Tenpenny and his crew are incredible.

My experience with Duncan Plumbing was below expectations.  First, their communication was poor.  When I called to set up appointment the girl said 9 to 9:30.  There was nothing said about tech calling to confirm time.  It was communicated an 85 estimate fee that would then be incorporated into the service if completed.  On the day of service, due to my business, my phone was off. Therefore I did not receive a call asking if the tech could come early at 8:30.  At 9:10 I noticed I had missed a call from an unknown number. The tech had left a message and for me to call. I attempted to call his number with no answer so I called Duncan directly. The tech had been dispatched to the third call of the day because I did not answer. The woman started making this my fault until I reassured her that it was ok just when could he be here as it was not a crisis .  The call was rescheduled for later that day for 5:00.  I received a call, in the middle of a therapy session, took the call because I did not want a repeat of earlier.  Stephen arrived at around 5:30. Went to my bathroom, deduced the issue was a water fill component.  Asked if I wanted it fixed, and jokingly said of course unless we are talking 2 to 300 dollars.  With all seriousness he said, the repair would be 265.00 dollars.  I was appalled.  My gosh, I was currently, right then having 3 rooms of carpet steam cleaned, which meant moving furniture, and the job was a 2 hour job for just over 200 dollars!  If he had said even up to 150 I would have agreed but that was ridiculous.  So I paid the 85 dollars that I agreed to and sent him on his way.  What a ripoff!

I had a terrible experience with Next Level Plumbing. There was water leaking under my sink and they came out and failed to diagnose it properly (said it was coming from the dishwasher line and left). After an appliance repair person said it was not the dishwasher line, Next Level Plumbing came back and diagnosed it was coming from the water filtration system. The plumber claimed he fixed it yesterday and left after less than ten minutes. This morning I realized that the plumber had simply turned off the water to the filtration system and left. When I turned the water back on, the leak started up again. I have literally NEVER had a worse experience with a plumber.

I asked AA super Rooter to replace the new water heater in March, 2017. But it is leaking now. The plumber worker reports that this water heater is used and pretty old. I do not what I should believe. If you are not an expert on water heater, be careful about AA super ROOTER.
