Rob is the real deal. He is the owner / operator of Rain or Shine and he does all of the work himself. We had to pause our project half way through due to the summer heat not being ideal for new sod. We finally laid sod in late September which is definitely the busy season for the landscape / irrigation world. Rod came out on a Saturday and worked all day until the job was done. Our grass is green and beautiful! Very pleased with his work and fair value in his prices.

When you find honest people in a service business, that's a rare gem. They will be my go-to plumbing provider!
Our toilet was forming a puddle after each night when a large group came over. I called Gene Smith and he and Michael came and found out it was user error, not a plumbing issue. I'm glad they didn't try to charge me for some mystery repair, but told me the truth! Great folks.

I contacted Pure-line upon the recommendation of an acquaintance who indicated they would provide good service at a fair and reasonable price. Unfortunately, I experienced neither. Of the three issues I asked them to address, only one was addressed correctly (a toilet shut-off valve), a toilet flow valve which was installed incorrectly (took me 15 minutes to re-install correctly) and an issue with a shower filter (which they bailed on altogether).
$393 later, I wasn't happy. When I contacted the owner, he pointed out repeatedly that I had signed a pre-authorization for the services-which is true. I waited 10 days for these guys to show up, and paid a ridiculous amount just to get stuff done I could have done on my own. The shower issue was what was important to me. After a phone conversation and a couple of back and forth e-mails, the grand compromise was a phone number to contact the shower handle manufacturer (this guy's grand solution was to rip open my walls to install all new fixtures), who promptly sent me a replacement filter at no charge; repeated offers to reconnect my garden hose that I mentioned they left unconnected (he seemed to really want to focus on this irrelevant aside), an offer to send someone out to get the toilet valve re-installed- and finally- a refund check for $58.98. I knew the rate for services was high to begin with (shame on me for being suckered in on this one)-it simply stung extra hard when I realized they didn't even get the simple stuff right and completely bailed on the main purpose of my call. Anyhow-caveat emptor with this outfit. If the service seems ridiculously high to begin with, don't sign their CYA authorization in the first place. I naively expected more integrity in addressing this customer's complaint then I got, so my only recourse is alert others to avoid being hosed in a similar fashion.
