Best Plumbing Services in North Carolina

I had a pretty severe leak in the pipes under my kitchen sink. The first two companies I called had appointments in two weeks. Drain Express had one that day. My husband is paralyzed and couldn't check the leak, my son left for college, and I was unable to tighten the pipes, or know how much to tighten them, or even know if that was the problem. Plus, the internet said that if you overtighten PVC pipes they will break. A plumber from Drain Express came out and diagnosed the problem--pipe not properly tightened. He checked the other pipes and another one was loose also.  He properly tightened them and wrote a bill (what I expected to pay) and told me to call the company to pay by credit card.  I did that. A few days later I got a letter in the mail saying they threw out my credit card information and decided not to charge me. I was more than amazed. This is just not what we expect from companies these days. This is a company with a heart.  Drain Express was already recommended to me by a neighbor, so while my problem was not complicated this time, I will certainly use them again. They are honest, thorough, and customer service oriented.

I called Rob , after i had already gone thru frustration with a company with a very similar name.  But don't be fooled.  I had to have this company, go back and fix what the other guy didn't do right.  ( the other company is named Rainy Day irrigation.)  The one you need to call is Rain or Shine irrigation.  Rob noticed that the first company put in older mechanical equipment, not new one.  Also, they paired up a 1 line, with a 3/4 line... just to gt the job done.  Obviously it was never working right.  The drip systems that were put in nearly ruined two trees, because they had the spray shooting a fierce jet of water about 2 inches from the small tree.  Rob fixed all of that, for a much better price . He is the fellow you need to call.  He will show up , when he says, and gt the work done  and it will be done right.

I woke one morning and had no hot water. Went into the garage to take a look at the water heater and it was leaking like a sieve. Grabbed my phone and called the closest plumbers - Streamline!

They answered at 8:00 am and were here in two hours. Had a nice tankless water heater installed and working by the end of the day.

Was it the price cheap? No. But when is that kind of thing ever cheap. It was basically the same price we paid for a new tankless at our last home with a small time plumbing outfit. Basically, if your water heater goes out expect to pay some righteous clams more so if you go tankless, whoever you call.

But bottom line they saved the day and were professional and courteous through the entire process. Would I call Streamline the next time? Absolutely - every time.

I don't write a lot of reviews but I felt compelled not just to help Streamline but my fellow plumbing  sufferers of woe.

Nothing worse than waking up to that kind of bummer. These guys made it bearable. And I felt like I was respected and got a fair deal. If you're reading this that means you are already hating it. Hopefully, this will help a bit.

Not prompt at all and would  definitely not recommend wasting your time calling them and waiting for a response, by then they will tell you it will be 3 more days.  This job could have been done in 15 minutes just by stopping by on their way home.

I've used Alternative Plumbing before because the owner, Gene Smith, is not only competent but will not try to oversell you. If you ask for information, he will educate you on your request if you want it and will suggest what he sees as the best solution which isn't the most expensive. He respects your property and cleans up after himself.

I recently had Gene install a Grunfos comfort system in our home. This system works by providing hot water to the furthest hot water faucet reducing the need to run the water till it gets hot thereby saving water. He can better explain the system but it works great. It only took about 2.5 hrs to install and it's great to turn the hot water faucet on in our bathroom and within 10-15 sec get hot water instead of waiting 30-60 sec for the water to start warming up.

Pure Line are by far the most reliable, professional, best plumbers in the area. We had two different plumbing emergencies that they were able to respond to quickly. They were professional, clean, knowledgeable, and efficient. They were able to quickly get to work to identify the issue, evaluate the solution with us, then execute. I trust these guys so much now. They truly had our interests at heart. Can't recommend enough.
