Outstanding! Quick to get onsite, efficient once here, and very personable. Great guys that I would recommend to anyone.

Moshe did a fantastic job replacing three ceiling fans at our new house. He was prompt with communication and arrived on time. One of the fans I'd ordered from Lowe's was defective, but we didn't find out until after Moshe had it installed. He removed it, boxed it all up to return, and didn't charge me anything, even though he still had to do all the work. He'll be coming back out once I get a replacement from Lowe's, and he's earned our business for life! He was also very friendly. I can't recommend him enough!

Gus Ballas (Wolf Electric) will be our go-to fellow when it comes to our electrical needs. Not only was he prompt and professional, he kept his word about keeping his appointment to come to our place when other electricians either failed to call us back or, worse, scheduled, then cancelled, then couldn't be reached.
I'm almost hesitant to give Gus of Wolf Electric such high marks because I may not be able to get him out here again because he will be so busy.! Just kidding. Please call Gus - you will be really happy you did.
He is knowledgeable, personable, thorough and reasonably priced. He won't quit until the work is done to his absolute perfection!

I've used these folks several times over the years. Professional, reasonable pricing and good work.

I'm new to the area and needed an electrician to add some new wall outlets and change some light fixtures. Mr. 900 Electric was responsive and very honest. After having 2 other quotes I chose Joe and couldn't be happier. Everything works perfect and it didn't cost a fortune plus I didn't have to wait weeks to get an appointment. I'd highly recommend Mr. 900 Electric.

I gave this 2 stars only because Cory was very personable when he was at my residence. Other than that, I would only give 1 star! The quote that was given to me for a few minor repairs was way overpriced. I replied via email stating that I would like to see the project itemized to determine if I may only have a portion of the work done. No reply. His quote of $829.25 is being done now by another electrician for only $250! That's a huge difference!

Since this review Polk electric has fixed all issues and made this right for me and my family.

Since moving to Troutman 3 months ago, we have had several opportunities to have Gibson's out to the house and we cannot say enough good things about them. They do excellent work, are true to their word about sending estimates and showing up for appointments and are the nicest guys! It's always challenging to find good, dependable firms to work with when you don't have any recommendations to go on; but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gibson's to anyone!

Professional company. Matthew came out to the house on time to do the troubleshooting for my upstairs central AC unit. Gave me some options. Tim from sales called me and priced out the different routes I could take and made some recomendations. He followed up and worked with me for a couple days so I could get my finances in order (unexpected expense). Kevin and crew came out to install the new unit as promised and on time. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. Everyone was professional and courteous. I'd call them again.

The tech, Justin B, showed up and found a short circuit in about 5 minutes that I had searched for hours for prior and couldn't find. The circuit was knocking out my A/C so they saved me from having to call the HVAC people as well. Needless to say these guys know what they're doing. Very legit. I'll be using them from now on for all my electrician needs.

Yesterday ENECO came from Hickory to tweak my HVAC, which he did a fantastic job on. I really didn't expect them to come out on a Saturday and figured they would wait till Monday, but I got a call back quickly and he said he could be here shortly. The young fellow was named Adam and had been with the company for 9 years. To get to my attic access we had to walk around bins and big bags of decorations from Christmas. I apologized for the mess and said it just needed to go in the attic when I got help.
He was so kind and gracious and offered to put all that stuff in the attic for me! And it was a lot! Then he gave me a few tips to make extra storage space with some of the plywood boards I had stacked up there. Adam was quite the professional during all this and I thanked him. What an asset he is to his company, and a blessing to me, to go above and beyond!

I just wanted to have two lights hung. BTW they charge for everything. I am okay to pay a trip fee. They called backed a few hours moved appt to another day. Call the next day to ask me if I want the work done I say yes. They than charge $299 for whatever I can milk for you fee. There pricing is HOW MUCH CAN I OVER CHARGE? Don't call these guys unless you enjoy bait and switch tactics and moving appts for their convenience. I found a nice ethical electrician to do the work.

So Travis showed up to our place to relocate a plug and install one. We are currently remodeling our kitchen and had access to the crawl space from the kitchen because we thought it would speed up the process.
The original quote was about 1200 dollars (rounded up) which seemed high and he tells us that it's less than what his boss said he should charge but that he's gonna give us a deal with his personal price. (Weird but ok) he even tried to upscale on a upgrading from 100 amps to 200. It sounded like a good idea but it wasn't in the budget, so we pressed on. I looked at the cost and it was for four hours of labor. Installing two plugs and pulling a permit. I had a quick discussion in private and we decided that our best option for now would be to just do the one plug since that's what our budget allowed at the moment. So now the new quote is 600 dollars (rounded down) for a lot less work.
This entire time, he is moving slow, getting prepped and changing papers up for us to sign while I go ahead and prep the floor for easy entry.
Then the madness starts. He spends a good amount of time on the phone and taking pics and lets us know he can't do anything unless he re works all the electrical and changes everything around and then goes through and explains what it will take to do it. He said he can get a parts list for us and a quote and so I thought we might as well since he is here. After being in his truck for thirty min he comes back saying it will be over ten grand to do it right and up to code.
Obviously, this was well outside of the budget but he came back and quoted us 10 grand. At this point we just wanted to pay him his diagnostic fee and send Travis on his way. But then he charged us the fee plus 3 hours of labor with zero work done... I was pissed because now that's 100 dollars less than what the original job was supposed to be.
We spoke to his supervisor and had the price drop down but I was really suspicious of the entire process now and it made me feel this is standard predatory practice for this worker or company. So I felt I needed to write a review to share this and just advise against using this company.
Again Travis did zero labor while here. We prepped the kitchen and pulled up the floor boards because he did not want to go down into the crawl space. He constantly needed to check in with his boss making us feel like he wasn't sure of what he was doing. Trying to charge us $500 for a diagnostic visit when the second quote was a little over $600 is a scam.

Great service, arrived early and got the job done quickly. Good customer service. Chad was our electrician. Very thorough. Highly recommend.

My update is immediate because as I was looking at them on Yelp & it looked like, in fact, they do residential! I called the company to confirm & yes, they do. I will update again after I experience their work.
They were pleasant in telling me they don't do residential work & gave me the names of Roger & Dan at Simpson Electric.

Called Tom a week ago to see if he could complete a job for us. Not only did he back out last minute but he also refused to take my phone calls. He decided to send a nasty email back and tell us its our problem not his. Looks like John L. and I have something in common. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING HIM. He was rude and disrespectful and obviously has questionable work ethic.
