Best Electricians in North Carolina
Recently just moved to Charlotte so I was looking for a reliable and professional electrician to install recessed lighting in our new home. Tony was able to quickly come out to give a reasonable quote and start working the very next day! I was told that it would take 4-4.5 hrs, and he was spot on! The recessed lighting that was installed also looks great, and gives the home a great comforting touch just like Tony said it would. I am definitely going to call Tony again for when we replace the chandelier!

Great service from Johnathon and his team. I was impressed by the receptionist, who, tried to help over the phone by suggesting to try resetting GFI breakers to correct the problem. Will definitely use them again.

Honest and reliable. Very close to estimate. Confirmed material cost with me prior to purchasing, as it was a little more than expected.
Showed up as agreed.
We have referred him to friends and he will return to perform other work for us.

Shawn has completed mobile home renovation splendidly. He finished work as promised and on time. His communication throughout the process was exemplary and especially even while he was out of country on family emergency. His work is beautiful and speaks for self. He kept budget under control and even gave some discount on unexpected rehab discovered along the way.
I would highly recommend Shawn and his team. In fact, he is starting renovation on our 2nd mobile home next week and most likely will be doing many more as opportunities we discover.

Wow! I called and they were able to come out within two hours. On the phone I explained what was wrong and sent a photo of the light switch I was having issues with. They arrived and fixed promptly. Gave great advice too for future electrical needs. Would totally be calling these guys for any electrical work needed in the future.

Jesse and Terry did a great job installing two outlets in the garage ceiling and hooking up my air compressor to 230V power. Will use again!

My electrical switches needed to be changed out as some of them were getting hot and my circuit breaker kept popping. I called Ambrose and their response time was same day. They came out and had all that they needed to take care of those issues and found other safety hazards I was not aware of. They took care of everything I needed in a few hours.. they cleaned up after themselves and were very careful not to let my animals out. I was very impressed and would definitely recommend them!!

Chad did a fantastic job of fixing a patio door that was very difficult to open. He responded to texts and emails promptly, and showed up on time for the job. It was a pleasure doing business with him. Chad will be the first person I call for any future home jobs.

I do not recommend this business. They tried to inflate my bill by recommending an expensive solution for a routine repair. They told me a replacement part I needed was totally impossible to find and the best fix would be a much more involved workaround, but I was able to find the part myself without too much trouble and someone else handled the repair for a fraction of the cost. I can't tell if they were unethical or just incompetent, I just know I would never trust these people to do anything.

Antwawn (the electrician sent to my house) was the only professional part of this experience. The front office was worthless so he was the only form of contact I had with the company through this process. He did everything he could to make my experience as good as possible. So I paid 200 for the after hours service (needed my main outside breaker fixed because power was going out) and when they arrived they said they needed to order the breaker. Breaker doesn't arrive until following wed. Breaker turns out to be wrong breaker (wrong breaker shipped by them). Janel in front office accuses me of not notifying them of the breaker size which wouldn't have mattered since they didn't have it in stock anyway so what was the point of this accusation? I did however notify them before the appointment but thanks for trying to lie, Janel.. Clearly well versed in ripping off the customer. Breaker finally arrives 10 days after I initially paid them 200 dollars. Breaker gets fixed and some upstairs outlets I needed installed were installed. So 10 days later AND AN ADDITIONAL $640 USD problem solved lol. $856 USD to get a breaker switch replaced and have one outlet installed. I'll be going elsewhere for my next job which will be soon. I had thousands of dollars of work that needed to be done as I convert my guest room into a data center. Sorry Roby but your competitor will be getting that money.
I think from now on I'm gonna call Antwawn directly and just hire him without going through Roby. He's an A+++ journeyman electrician.

Evan was knowledgeable, friendly and competitively priced (per hour). He responded to my yelp project request quickly and was out the next day. He installed my new bedroom ceiling fan/light fixture and then went on to figure out why my bathroom exhaust fan hasn't been working since we moved in 4 months ago. He was able to fish the lines through the ceiling without having to make any cuts into the ceiling and was able to get it up and running for us. We will definitely use Evan for our next electrical project!

Ryan Hanlon is the Man-lon, FORREAL! Only contractor in the history of my lifetime to show up early, clean up after himself everywhere he went, and take the time to explain my options and the work he was doing.
Priced medianly between the other electricians I called and met with (Roby Electric being the most expensive), Ryan quoted fair prices and offered to provide all the materials at cost OR send me a shopping list that I could take to Home Depot/Lowes. Being a DIY girl as much as possible, I took the list and made my merry way over to Home Depot on Wendover, where Ira the Electrician Guy told me that this guy knew what he was doing once he saw the complete list Ryan had emailed me.
Arriving not a second past 9:30, Ryan took time to go over all the projects I wanted done in the home overall, and then started work on installing 4 outdoor outlets for my home. Along the way, there were some issues with my older home and the set up of the wiring, but he took the time to not only communicate what he was doing but also to educate me more on my home and the wiring of it (who knew I had a fuse box that was a fire hazard? go me!).
Anyway, 6 hours later I had everything I'd requested and a few more things done by Ryan and I was already making plans for him to put in recessed kitchen lighting and change out a fan and chandelier. I can't say enough how impressed I was with him - I'm telling everyone I know! Definitely a contractor I'm going to keep on file for years to come (I know I'm rambling, but he was really that great!).

Roman is such a nice guy! He came exactly when he said on a Saturday evening. The business is called Asap and he lives by it. My wife asked him if I needed you at 2:00am would you come ? He said if it was an emergency, sure. I called him about 7:30pm, he was here and done by 8:45!! Small job, but it needed an electrician. Quick clean professional work! Use this man!

Luis was unable to concentrate during his estimate appointment and had difficulty writing on his notepad. I felt uneasy with his presence. When I told him we will just conclude our appointment at that time, he described how I would be lucky to have had him as an electrician anyway. Very peculiar behavior exhibited during our encounter.

I had a tricky electrical job that I wasn't confident in doing myself (and just plain didn't want to crawl around under my house). Chris came out on a Saturday, reviewed my situation, and gave me an estimate. He scheduled a crew to come out to do the work on the next Saturday. They did the work just fine and were a courteous crew. Chris got the work scheduled pretty quickly and the job was done as we agreed, so no complaints on my side. I would definitely use him again.

We had a ceiling fan stop working in our master bedroom. Scheduled an appointment to have it replaced. The CSR said they charge $69 to come out and a ceiling fan replacement would run about $400. When the tech arrived, I told him what the problem was. He then told us that to even look at the fan/switch would be a $300 troubleshooting fee. When I questioned this he said the fee was non-negotiable but stated a few times he would cut us a break on the work. He proceeded to remove the switch cover, touched the wires with his voltage meter, and told us you need to replace the fan and switch...Which we already knew. So he charged us $300 for 15 minutes to confirm what we told the CSR over the phone. When I called customer service to inquire about the $300 trouble shooting fee I was told that the electrical team would waive it. The CSR from the electrical team told me she had no authority to waive it but a manager would contact me. We will see if that happens. I have since scheduled the work with another company for half the price.

My door shifted due to house settlement making my door unable to open or close properly. I messaged him and he replied very quickly, was able to come next day to give a quote. He diagnosed the problem and explained all the options carefully for me. He was able to complete the job same day for a reasonable price. Door swings better than before. He made sure to leave his work tidy as I had it before. Also very friendly. Will use him again for future repairs.

Don't do business with this company. Once a defective light was installed for $225. They refused to take it down for less than $185. Puts my cost at over $1000 for the light and installation. Do not use this company under any circumstances. If I could give 0 stars I would. No sir the light was not working well when your technicians were there, and when I needed it taken down you refused to do anything but charge me an additional $185 to have it removed. No offer from you other than full price. No worries though I tripped the breakers and took it down by myself in 5-10 minutes. It was really hard. I can understand the $185 price tag when an unskilled person such as myself can do it in 5-10 minutes. Thank you so much and I will assure no one I know and do business will ever use your service. Your a real gem. Good job.
