Best Businesses in New Mexico
This plumbing business was such a nice surprise from other plumbing companies in Albuquerque. Reggie came out for an initial inspection and then revisited to make the necessary repairs. I have a very complex in floor heating system and other heating and cooling issues from the plumbers who built our home, so we needed an excellent plumbers help. A quality plumbing came highly recommended to us from a close family friend and this referral did not disappoint. The process they went through to locate our problems was very smart and the quality of craftsmanship and service far exceeded my expectations (and I have high expectations because I'm a contractor myself). From the moment you schedule a visit or meet Reggie for the first time, you know that you are in great hands and that you were dealing with an honest business that does incredible work. It was a pleasure working with these guys and I cannot recommend to them enough to everyone I know.

Often we write reviews only when we want to complain. This company was excellent. They came when they said they would, they were courteous and careful, and best of all they knew what they were doing. I recommend Antonio's without reservation. They put in a new air conditioning system. They weren't the lowest or the highest estimate. They were in the middle and they did a fine job.

WOW!!! This company is exceptional! I have had some negative experiences in ABQ with other HVAC/plumbing contractors, especially concerning high prices and these guys are fantastically priced plus do a wonderful job.
Mike came promptly to my rescue twice in a month because as my house was in escrow we found out that our sono tubes had collapsed on the North side and the furnace needed to be replaced, the entire system to be changed to a heating system using the wall vents and the floor vents as cool air returns. The work that seemed to me and my realtor like a mammoth one was done in no time with extreme cleanliness, expertise and attention to details. Mike Franco and Robert are real professionals, always on time and they clean after themselves, very rare these days!
Then as some termites apparently had nested in the sono tubes, the floor vents could no longer be used and we had to install a register in the entrance of the house and plug all the floor vents with concrete so that no critters would come through ever! Mike came back and did the job again in no time, everything was left immaculate and the system was completely redone for quite a reasonable price. Kudos to this company!!!
Mike Franco comes at the exact time he says for the exact price quoted that is a fourth of the other companies quotes!
It is a no brainer to hire such a marvelous HVAC and electrical contractor!
Believe me, the pool of honest, efficient and reasonably priced HVAC/plumbing and electrical contractors in Albuquerque is slim to say the least, Duke City Heating & Cooling is worth 20 stars not just 5!
If I still owned a home in ABQ I would hire them always for any plumbing, electrical work I'd have, but I moved and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of such work. They can't be beat. i gave their card to realtors friends of mine who will hire them when they come across any HVAC, plumbing or electrical trouble.
You should definitely call them and give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
A million thanks to Duke City Heating and Cooling, the entire staff including Gloria, is top notch! I'm so grateful that my house sold and the buyer was very happy thanks to them and their quick response.

My heater stopped working. I was referred to this company by a trusted contractor (A&MSERNA construction). Paul answered his phone even thought it was after 5. He was polite, helpful and honest. He managed to squeeze me in and came by my house first thing in the morning. His prices were fair, he was professional and he got my heat on in under an hour. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants fast, reliable, honest service for a great price. Thank you again!

Prompt response to Request for Estimate, scheduled for a Mon a.m. repair, even though it was a holiday (Memorial Day), completed repair in less than 2hrs, and stuck to the estimate that had been provided. Was advised by Tech that I would be notified via email with invoice; received email same day advising that IF I didn't pay by end of day, there'd be penalty charge -- would have been nice to have understood that up front ... but, all in all, will use again in the future.

After getting dishonest quotes from other companies I decided to give Rick's a shot, I am very happy I did. Jorge the plumber was very honest with me and fixed my issue. I can't recommend them enough! I will only use Rick's for all my plumbing needs moving forward.

Outstanding response! Been having ongoing issues with the heater electro pilot, and finally had enough.
Called around 8:30am, return call within 1/2hr and Tim the technician arrived before noon, and save the day!
Note:Be prepare to send text of Mfg. Plate that has the info about the water heater, any upfront info helps.

We called Drain Surgeons twice during the holidays once for a toilet once for our sink. Both times they were able to fit us in within hours of contacting them. They were responsive, professional, honest and fairly priced. We will definitely be using them again.

I had a very complicated kitchen sink plumbing problem. One plumbing company proposed dramatic changes to the pluming structure with high price quote, but Gary found a solution within 1.5 hours with very reasonable price. I was very impressed and happy. Gary saved me a lot of money and time. Gary has over 30 years of experience. I highly recommend Gary!

The jobs were done professionally and thoroughly. I was told up front how much he charged per hour and did a walk through after the repairs.

Excellent customer service, expedient service, processes explained clearly, communication was wide open and there were NO surprises. Overall in my experience this company sets the standard for the local industry. Also they are competitive with big box stores so don't think you'll get a great deals with Lowes and Home Depot. Use local, they are deserving of your business.

Last fall we needed a new water heater. I checked with Home Depot and got a few estimates over the phone with other plumbing and heating company's. In the past we used Aardvark for our Swamp Cooler Installation and they were awesome! Anyway, we decided to go with them for our new water Heater. They came when they said they would, put in the new water heater and now we have hot water!!! We also used them when our roofing person shorted a fuse. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again; we have used them 3 times over the years. thanks Aardvark.

I don't know if the management In the past decade but this store has changed. Every time I go there for anything, they don't have it AND they seem to be offended that I asked for something. I've really tried to support local, but I think I will no longer go here. A shame because there's nothing local and small.

Contracted through Lowes for a simple bathroom sink install after new vanity top was installed. Technican showed up without necessary parts snd had to leave to get them. In the end the sink was set high, plumbing not properly connected or checked so the drain line leaked. Called for a return visit, said technician would be here in 2 hours. Four hours later still no word so I called back and the woman forwarded me to the technicals voice mail. No response. I had house guests arriving the next day and decided to try and figure it out myself, and did. Called back to let them know and recieved a totally rude response from the woman who answered the phone, who then ended the call hanging up on me mid-sentence. DO NOT USE!
