Best Businesses in New Mexico
Reggie and Rodney are very knowledgeable, honest, and easy to work with. Plumbers have been a hard find in Albuquerque, and they are far and away the best I have worked with here. I highly recommend them to my real estate clients, friends, neighbors and really, anyone who asks...

Often we write reviews only when we want to complain. This company was excellent. They came when they said they would, they were courteous and careful, and best of all they knew what they were doing. I recommend Antonio's without reservation. They put in a new air conditioning system. They weren't the lowest or the highest estimate. They were in the middle and they did a fine job.

I am a Realtor in Albuquerque and I have called on Duke City Heating and Cooling several times to fix different things in homes that we are under contract with and they have always been courteous, prompt, and helpful. I recommend them to other Realtors as well as friends and family!

My heater stopped working. I was referred to this company by a trusted contractor (A&MSERNA construction). Paul answered his phone even thought it was after 5. He was polite, helpful and honest. He managed to squeeze me in and came by my house first thing in the morning. His prices were fair, he was professional and he got my heat on in under an hour. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants fast, reliable, honest service for a great price. Thank you again!

Prompt response to Request for Estimate, scheduled for a Mon a.m. repair, even though it was a holiday (Memorial Day), completed repair in less than 2hrs, and stuck to the estimate that had been provided. Was advised by Tech that I would be notified via email with invoice; received email same day advising that IF I didn't pay by end of day, there'd be penalty charge -- would have been nice to have understood that up front ... but, all in all, will use again in the future.

Ricks came out and did a fall tuneup on our heater. They were thorough and even made sure to check for carbon dioxide in every room. Fair price for 2 heaters. I love this company. Great service and nice employees! Thanks again Rick's heating and plumbing!

Note:Be prepare to send text of Mfg. Plate that has the info about the water heater, any upfront info helps.

We have been very pleased with Joe Bernal's services and expertise. He is patient, answers all of our questions and best of all resolves our plumbing/drain problems. We highly recommend Drain Surgeon.

I had a very complicated kitchen sink plumbing problem. One plumbing company proposed dramatic changes to the pluming structure with high price quote, but Gary found a solution within 1.5 hours with very reasonable price. I was very impressed and happy. Gary saved me a lot of money and time. Gary has over 30 years of experience. I highly recommend Gary!

Sometimes it can be difficult finding honest tradesman in this town. We were opening a new business in town and needed a real plumber for tenant improvments on our new space. The project was fairly substantial including saw cutting slab, new sinks, bathrooms, floor drains...etc. These guys are great! On time, on budget, and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Walk On Water Plumbing

Last fall we needed a new water heater. I checked with Home Depot and got a few estimates over the phone with other plumbing and heating company's. In the past we used Aardvark for our Swamp Cooler Installation and they were awesome! Anyway, we decided to go with them for our new water Heater. They came when they said they would, put in the new water heater and now we have hot water!!! We also used them when our roofing person shorted a fuse. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again; we have used them 3 times over the years. thanks Aardvark.

Samon's is a family-owned, New Mexico-based, do-it-yourself hardware, plumbing, and electric store.
When I went inside, I was immediately greeted by Namida (very kind and a warm smile) who asked if she could help. I told her what I was looking for and she sent me to Jay. Jay took me to the portable swamp coolers and explained the differences between them. He and Michael (who I believe was the manager) patiently and expertly answered all of my questions and gave me very good advice about the item I was purchasing. As a person who doesn't know much about appliances, plumbing, etc. I would feel very comfortable coming back here. I didn't feel like I was bothering them with my questions. I felt that my business there was important to them and they care about their customers.
Samon's doesn't really do anything with gardening or yard work. They have sprinkler heads for sprinkler systems and things like that so head to Home Depot or Lowe's if that's what you're looking for.
As I was leaving, I was taking a picture outside and was stopped by one of the patrons, Austin, who asked what I was doing. I told him I'd never been there before and was going to do a review about it. He said, Oh, these guys are good. Really knowledgeable and helpful. I've been coming here for 30 years. It's great because since they are only in New Mexico, they really know about things specific to New Mexico. That's exactly how I felt about this store also and something that's different than the bigger stores that are nation-wide.
Another important thing to point out is that the store isn't huge and overwhelming or swarming with customers so there was an employee always in view if I needed help. That is something hard to find in the bigger name hardware stores. This Samon's has a very personal and mom and pop type feel. I'll be coming here more often for sure!

Contracted through Lowes for a simple bathroom sink install after new vanity top was installed. Technican showed up without necessary parts snd had to leave to get them. In the end the sink was set high, plumbing not properly connected or checked so the drain line leaked. Called for a return visit, said technician would be here in 2 hours. Four hours later still no word so I called back and the woman forwarded me to the technicals voice mail. No response. I had house guests arriving the next day and decided to try and figure it out myself, and did. Called back to let them know and recieved a totally rude response from the woman who answered the phone, who then ended the call hanging up on me mid-sentence. DO NOT USE!
